Bloody Roar 2 – Long's Story

Chapter 2: Memories
During the Dawn, Long, Shina and Uriko were ready to leave. Uriko have talked about Bakuryu to the other two who didn't understand how Uriko was lucky to not get one scratch.
"But Bakuryu died five years ago, how can this young man use the same name?" Long asked already wondering that he could be some shinobi successor and was using that codename like Ryuzou did.
"And then, are we going to leave? Do we have some clue about the ZLF main base location?" Shina asked thinking on how to solve the situation.
"We may have no clue, but now we are their target. One hour or another he will attack us again; I just believe that Uriko cannot be at his field of view." Long said understanding the ninja boy's feelings.
"He cannot see me among you two, why?" Uriko showed her innocence.
"He didn't want to make you suffer, that's why you're still alive and wasn't kidnapped." Shina said trying to be clearer.
The blue sky hovered in the air with its white clouds that would not help with their shadows on a scorching heat. It was about noon and the city people were living their lives normally with some exceptions from some cases involving the ZLF that didn't reach Long, Uriko and Shina's knowledge. Over time, Long had planned everything.
"Listen to me well, Bakuryu will not attack us at noon's period, only at night. That's the way shinobi act to increase their stealth." Long planned with the other two.
"There are two possibilities, that he will come only to see or attack Uriko again or he will attack Shina or me. That's why, we need to regroup and separate at the right moments." Long explained something that seemed a little unnecessary since the objective was to obtain information with a ninja that would certainly come back.
The three went on their journey walking and sorting out at specific locations to after that meet each other again at the building from the beginning.
"Let's Search for information about the ZLF and its main base, I believe that if we know how to talk to the people on the streets, we would get some positive result." Shina said after understanding Long's plan.
Meanwhile inside a lab full of guinea pig capsule, a scientist was surprised by Bakuryu which had come back. The two started to talk.
"So, Bakuryu, did you get more guinea pigs?" The scientist wearing casual clothes like a shorts and slipper asked his foreman.
"For what purpose do you want so bad more guinea pigs, don't you have enough?" Bakuryu, the teenager gave an unpleasant answer to his superior.
"That look… You don't cheat me Bakuryu, who have you encountered?" The scientist asked excited.
"I saw three subjects that everything indicated they were zoanthropes, although I wasn't able to confront them, they were in greater numbers." The ninja answered smartly.
"There is no problem, you will describe to me who were those three." Said the also smart scientist desiring more guinea pigs.
"Very well. There was a girl probably at my age with clothes that reminds kung fu, a Chinese tied long haired man and a woman with a strong physical shape and spiked hair." Bakuryu delivered the three descriptions to the scientist.
Meanwhile, Long, Uriko and Shina got separated to obtain more information while Shina spotted a boxing stadium and thought she could get more information from a crowded place. The afternoon passed quickly and Shina saw one of the boxing fighters from the day carrying and holding a pair of boxing gloves on the shoulder. Before Shina could approach a woman dressed as a nurse approached the fighter and the two talked to each other. Even so, Shina thought that her presence would not disturb and she approached both.
"Excuse me, one of you know something about the ZLF such as their main base?" Shina said noticing both reactions.
"First of all, who are you?" The boxer asked.
"You can call me Shina, are you zoanthropes?" The mercenary asked.
"We are. Are you against ZLF?" The nurse questioned.
"Yes, I'm searching for Alpha." Shina answered.
"Who is Alpha?" The boxer questioned her.
"it's the ZLF's leader title. I believe that my father must be the leader, but I can't believe on it. His name is Alan Gado." Shina explained.
"Gado?! It can't be, we were allies five years ago against Tyron Corporation." The boxer told Shina.
"You haven't told your names yet." Shina warned both.
"My name is Alice; I'm a nurse and I fought five years ago too." Alice explained.
"My name is Yugo, I'm a boxer. My adopted brother was kidnapped by the ZLF." Yugo told his current situation.
"What is his name?" Shina asked worried.
"Kenji Ogami, I named him after I found him without memory on the destruction of the Tyron Corporation." Yugo answered.
"Can you help us bring down ZLF? I want to believe that my father isn't involved on it" Shina explained to both.
"I believe we shall find the base sooner or later." Alice said positive.
"So let's go." Yugo answered immediately.
"Follow me, I have two allies in this cause too." Shina explained to both and the three went to the abandoned building.
Long and Uriko arrived the abandoned building without much to report until they spotted Yugo, Alice and Shina.
"I know you! You are..." Long seemed amazed like the past was knocking at his door.
Yugo and Alice entered battle position until Long would not react in an offensive form.
"I'm not the same as before. I'm Long and my new life is to redeem myself from the sins I committed in the past." He said worried with what to do.
The five which were present traded information between them through talk until the nightfall.
"So, a ninja boy attacked Uriko? It can only be Kenji; I need to save him from his past." Yugo said until the scenario changed. The building was surrounded by several ninjas with traditional clothes, they belonged to ZLF and served as support to the real threat, which was Bakuryu. All of them were in spots hard to be noticed.
"We believe that he would be back and it seems we were right." Long said walking outside the building being followed by others while the ninjas showed themselves in front of each one of them surrounding them.
The fight between them started and Bakuryu took the opportunity to show himself during the mess from the other battles so this time he could accomplish his goal, until Yugo spotted him.
"Kenji, is that you?" Yugo asked while the ninja tried to capture Uriko and stopped after seeing Yugo.
"My head... Argh." Bakuryu was feeling headaches with confused memories inside his mind. Until Yugo and him fought a battle in which Bakuryu lost.
"Brother, is that you?" Kenji asked with his mind already better while the other ninjas were defeated.
"That's right Kenji, I'm your older brother Yugo." Yugo calmed him after a turbulent night.
Long, Shina, Uriko, Alice and Yugo were around Kenji to help him to recover himself.
"I'm sorry Uriko, I shouldn't have tried to kidnap you." Kenji said seeing the girl carefree.
"You are my new friend; I don't have motive to keep grudges from you. Besides, it was not your true will, you were being manipulated." Uriko answered.
"But what now, how are we going to find their base?" Long made a question which the answered was already there.
"I came from there; I know the base location and I can help to take it down. Someone has some map?" Kenji answered and Alice gave him a map from the city.
"We need to be stealthy; the sewers can be the best way to arrive there without being noticed." Kenji said preparing the team.
