Bloody Roar 2 – Long's Story

Chapter 3: Yin Yang
Long, Uriko, Shina, Yugo, Alice and Kenji joined forces to bring down ZLF. All the six were in the dead of night in the city approaching a manhole which would lead their way to the sewer. The night was a little cold and was possible to feel a cool breeze even nice. Kenji opened the manhole and everybody went down the sewers. The stench was strong and unpleasant, it all remembered something rotten, after all, it was the sewers. The bugs clustered easily and the rats ran aimlessly, it was possible to avoid to step on the dirty water, but even so it was hard to handle the environment.
"What a stench!" Uriko complained following the others while Kenji lead the way.
"Try to handle just some more, Uriko." Long said worried with more dangerous things.
There were some bifurcations, only that Kenji gathering his knowledge with a map could take everyone to the base. Reaching the way's ending, a creature appeared holding Alice. The humanoid creature used bandages on the body and was blue like an insect from the size of a human. Alice yelled and everybody saw the creature.
"Release my sister!" Uriko Shouted revealing to everybody a possible kinship with Alice even Alice being adopted.
"Are you a zoanthrope?!" Long asked observing that he was different from all the others zoanthropes which he knew.
"I need human blood to keep living." The blue insect man said as If there were no other way to solve it.
Uriko gave a flying kick on which released Alice and let her escape.
"You can go on ahead, I'll stay to fight this monster." Alice said ready to fight.
"But Alice, it's okay for you to do it?" Yugo said worried.
"Let's trust her, we cannot lose time." Long answered.
And then, Long, Uriko, Shina, Yugo and Kenji left the sewers facing the lab from where Kenji came.
In the lab, it was possible to see several capsules with people's size for experiments, a lot of guinea pigs were cluster in a way that was hard to meet someone known. Until the scientist appeared.
"Bakuryu, what made you took so long?" The scientist questioned.
"Busuzima, we came to defeat you!" Kenji answered with determination.
"So, these from your side are your allies... Good luck finding me." Busuzima said bestializing into a chameleon and even before using camouflage, Kenji strike him.
"We can't lose time; you proceed without me now." Kenji said and Long and the others got it.
"Let's take the elevator upstairs, probably Alpha is in the top of the building." Shina said and alongside Yugo, Uriko and Long she advanced.
Uriko found her mother Mitsuko wounded inside one of those capsules and she saved her even being unconsciousness yet.
"You three should proceed, I'll take care of my mother." Uriko said and the others took an elevator.
Arriving on the fifty-ninth floor, Long, Yugo and Shina approached an office where there was a blonde woman with short hair sitting on a desk. She wore a red dress and she was very attractive.
"You don't seem to have an appointment to speak to the chief director, what is your excuse?" The woman in red provoked the three that noticed that to take down ZLF would not be simple. There was a double door that led to chief director. The office room had a red carpet and a good space to a battle.
"Who is the chief director? You must know, after all you work for him." Shina was a bit aggressive standing in front of the desk and thinking about her father. Even if she was adopted, she had great ties with her father Gado.
"Very well, I can't let you through here." The woman in red dress bestialized into a bat.
"Long! Yugo! I leave the rest to you. I'm going to buy some time and distract the secretary." Shina said with an air of concern.
"Find out who is Alpha for me!" The mercenary said thinking about her father's destiny.
Yugo and Long entered the double door room inside the main director chief room. The glass wall demonstrated a beautiful view from above on that night where the yellow moon landed on the sky. There was a great empty space that could be used as an arena and in the main table there was the chief director sitting on an armchair without worrying about nothing.
"Long time no see Yugo and Long. I confess that would not expect to see you together." The voice was from Alan Gado, the ex-mercenary.
"I am redeeming myself for my past and I remember our fight from five years ago. I was wrong, and you were right." Long answered trying to be clear enough.
"What made you turn into Alpha, Gado? Your daughter Shina is fighting your secretary searching for answers about you." The young Wolf asked his former right arm.
"Only the fight will bring us answers, that if you defeat me." Gado bestialized into a lion striking Yugo which also bestialized himself into a wolf and Long into a tiger.
The fight took some time and Gado ended up defeated. The three zoanthropes were into their human form and even fighting outnumbered, Gado almost defeated both on an impactful fight.
"I have something to reveal to you, I'm not Alpha, I'm just an infiltrated to bring down ZLF and my secretary Jenny too, we were war partners." Alan Gado explained himself protecting his partner too.
"I should already imagine." Long started explaining himself.
"What do you mean Long? You already suspected about it?" Yugo asked him
"When Uriko's mother was kidnapped, Uriko told me that the leader looked like me, so I must imagine..." Long recalled.
"His room is on sixtieth floor that can only be reached by this room stairs." That was Gado answer that even wounded would like to help. Yugo was also very wounded.
"Please take me to the stairs, this fight is mine." Long said thinking on who could be waiting for him.
Long climbed the stairs that housed a great arena in the center of the room and sitting on an armchair just behind the top was a man identical to him.
"Who are you and what're you doing here?" Long asked the man that stared at him.
"I'm Shenlong, the zoanthrope savior leader." The villain said while behind Long emerged Gado, Jenny, Shina, Yugo, Alice and Uriko. Long looked behind him.
"Our mother is safe; we came to fight." Uriko said about having her sister's aid to save their mother.
"Gado and Jenny, I knew you were infiltrated, I'll fight with each one of you seven. Who shall be the first?" Shenlong provoked all even with them exhausted.
Shenlong defeated Alice, Uriko, Shina, Jenny, Gado and Yugo.
"Shenlong, the truth is that you're a Long's clone, the young man which seems like you that arrived here. You are just one more of Busuzima experiments, he just used you." Shenlong with everyone down around him except for Long, he heard what Gado had told him and a hate for Long was born without even challenge him, both tigers started to fight a final battle. Long against Shenlong.
Shenlong won the fight and everything seemed lost to all of them until Long wounded was saw by Shenlong as the original, after all, he was just stronger than the original because of being an experiment, a clone. That devastated his psychological...
"He is also a tiger; his fighting style is the same as mine. Am I a clone? My life was a lie?" That made him devastate all the HQ from the ZLF that fell apart above him and the scientists. All the allies were safe.
After those events, Gado was cleared. Yugo founded an NGO called World of Co-existence or W.O.C where he would do the same thing ZLF should have done since the beginning.
