'I have to keep fighting' I thought as my hands cramped up. They wouldn't be of much use until I rested for a bit or went to see Recovery Girl. Which would probably make me pass out since I had no fucking energy. A horn zipped past me, cutting my cheek on the way. The pain was becoming more bearable. 'I need to be stronger. Strong enough to beat them'

I was training with Tsunotori. I was getting quirkless combat against a quirk training and she was getting quirk training. It was a win-win. I was currently exhausted as I had also fought Yoarashi and Midoriya. And lost. 3 times each. But I had also been doing this for an hour. Plus Ultra right? Suddenly the horns stopped and I gazed up and saw a tired Tsunotori carrying over some bandages. Recovery Girl wasn't an option anyways. Lest I get bonked by the staff of doom. 'God that woman is terrifying'

I tugged my lips into a smile, "Thanks... I could have gotten that myself," I said it in English. Not many of our classmates knew english surprisingly. We were learning it but not a lot of people were good enough at it like we were. I felt a horn lightly poke into me as it led me to a wall to lean on. 'This feels weird'

Tsunotori sat down next to me, "You've been evading for the last ten minutes without your hands. I know they are absolutely killing you right now and you can't use them. Much less bandage yourself," True. True, "You don't need to push yourself so much, Nendo. Its only the sports festival. Sure the most important one in history but its not life or death," It wasn't that... But I couldn't reveal my true feelings about it. I didn't want anybodies opinions of me souring over a petty one-sided rivalry I had going right now.

I grinned, "You've got me. But I can bandage myself," I tried to grab a bandage for my bleeding cheek only to discover it hurt to move my hands in any way, "Ouch!" I felt a very sharp pain in my hand and jerked back. 'Guess I won't try that again... heh'

Tsunotori sighed and grabbed the bandage for me and placed it on my cheek, "There. Now I'll make sure your not painted in red and now can you please tell me whats gotten you so riled up? You've spent literally half of your time training and the other half in the support labs working on a support item," I relucantly gave up struggling against my pride and let my arms fall limp, "You've been down in the dumps for nearly two weeks now. Can't have that attitude now can't we?"

I sighed, "Well... I feel weak, inadequate, Small. Okay not that last one but you get the point. I feel so weak compared to the titans of our year. Bakugo, Todoroki, Yoarashi, even Midoriya's there now. It just kinda sucks you know? Bakugo's explosions are naturally more powerful, Todoroki has sheer, raw power over everyone, Yoarashi somehow has even more of that, and Midoriya is an all rounder beast now since he learned to control his quirk. It kinda makes my progress feel slow in comparison and it just hurts a bit," I sighed then, "I know its bad to feel that way but I just want to prove I'm not as weak as I think I am," I was weak still.

I felt a comforting hand on my shoulder, "I get it... I feel weak sometimes too," I looked to my American friend who was smiling, "But everyone is strong in their own way. Sure people like me and you may not have as much raw power as them but we still have a bit of it and you have the potential to go beyond that, " Her smile grew wider, "Besides you have something special about you too. We all do. You are probably the most versatile person in class right now. And Kodai-chan for example is the best support. It's all just a matter of finding who we are and what we want to do. If you want to beat them, then go ahead but please don't be an idiot like at the USJ. Because I know that noggin of yours has ideas on how to beat them and we don't need you acting like an idiot only two days away from the festival now don't we?" I thought about it... Tsunotori's words were nice to hear.

They were oddly insightful... 'Guess I've been overthinking a bit... Even though Yoarashi is a huge obstacle. Even though Midoriya is growing quickly. Even though I am not the best... If I can fight I can win' I grinned, "Thanks... I think I needed to hear that. And your right. I still want to beat them. But I can't be an idiot... " I grinned, "Thanks for the help, Tsunotori,"

I felt a light punch on my shoulder, "Good to hear! Also no need to thank me yet buddy. You still need to win and focus on not being an idiot. I'm just glad I helped a little bit," She then put a finger to her chin, "Also we've been through a life threatening situation and fought together. I feel like you, me, and Kodai aren't on a last name basis anymore," She grinned then, "Call me Pony from now on!"

I was glad my hair hid my darkening face. 'Its been like a month and a week... Ah fuck it she's right. Besides we're all good friends anyways,' I grinned then, "Well then Pony, call me Katsu," I honestly never thought shit would be like this in my first year at UA.

I was glad though. Things were looking both good and bad at the same time. Tsunoto- Pony smiled, "Okay Katsu!"

Nighteye was having a bad time to say the least. It was two days before the sports festival and he still hadn't gotten Midoriya to give up One for All. He was both tenacious and he had amassed allies already. Particularly Ochako Uraraka and Katsu Nendo. They knew about One for All by the looks he had gotten when he asked to speak to Midoriya... Alone... For the second time.

Nighteye swore he saw a clay bird fly past his head when he tried to make Midoriya give up One for all. It was fast too. Like it was weightless. This was bad though. It meant he was beginning to build up his own allies and connections who would know about the quirk. Not only that but said allies were fiercely protective of him and he was learning how to use One for All anyways.

"I need to get to him alone soon. He's always walked home by Uraraka and Nendo is nearby at all times at school. Showing up to his home is an option but from what I've heard... His mother wouldn't like it," Understandable too. But for the sake of Japan, Midoriya needed to give One for All up to a true hero.

He tried to sway Torino and Tsukauchi to his side but they didn't listen to him. Hell, they said he was a good successor to One for All and from Torino's latest reports he could use 6% of it now. Just barely two or three months after he got the quirk? It was insane.

'Perhaps I need to use more forceful measures...' He could use some of the little blackmail he had on Nezu. But if that happened then who knows what would go wrong? He could see into the future but he refused to use that ability for more than 24 hours at a time unless it was important. Although this is important... 'No. We aren't doing that Mirai... Perhaps I can rig the festival somehow? Give Midoriya the strongest opponents and make him think he is weak. Crushing ones willpower was always a solid game plan'

If he wanted to crush his Willpower then there'd be better ways to do it. Like having him face the true ninth holder of One for All. Mirio, and seeing how vastly weaker he was so he would know who the right choice for the world was. But Nezu would suspect it.

He would suspect all of the idea's he had though. The damn rat was too clever. Perhaps he could go after someone else. Someone that Midoriya cares about? One of his allies would be good. The girl specifically since he appears to be romantically fond of her. But again, the rat would suspect foulplay.

Nighteye continued thinking until an idea dawned upon him, "Yes that'd work," He knew what he'd have to do, even if it pained him.

He'd be watching the sports festival very intently this year.

Gunhead felt good. His latest batch of students. The ones who decided to learn from him. They were fantastic! They had all listened to him and taken like a fish to water with his martial arts! Particularly, young Kodai, Uraraka, Bondo, Ojiro, and Hagakure were the best of his students. Although he had some other good ones like Young Rin and Young Iida. The latter of the two took his advice of him being able to use his arms in combat very seriously!

Of course he had some bad seeds like young Shinsou who was taking more to Eraserheads style of combat but that was okay. He still managed to get him up to par anyways. They were all more than ready for the sports festival.

This year was particularly exciting to Gunhead. Not only would he be watching the people he trained compete. But he'd be watching them win. Gunhead had complete faith in them now. They had shown they had the tenacity and skill needed to survive the tournament and make it far. It was exciting!

He was still excited to watch the other students compete. Particularly those who relied on martial arts as well but there were others that intrigued him. Like Midoriya(Who he realized was Uraraka's crush! Oh the teasing that was done) and Monoma who could copy quirks.

This was already a good investment of his time though. And the festival hadn't even started yet. Gunhead had heard about the changes that were made and it made him happy. Support items would help his students a lot. They'd help everyone a lot in general.

Some notable ones were, Objects for Kodai to shrink and grow, Uraraka's helmet and boots to help with nausea, Shinsou's robotic voice cords, Nendo's clay(although he heard from Power Loader that the boy was working with a support student on something different. He'd be interested in what he'd bring over the ability to fight from range) Satou's sugar packets, Some hair for Monoma(from other people so he'd be able to use his quirk), and young Aoyama's belt.

Everyone else would bring some small things but nothing too helpful.

He knew he'd have a good time though. No matter what this sports festival would be one of the best, if not that then it'd be the best.

Gunhead got a call then. He picked up his phone, "Hello?"

The voice of his new boss rang through his phone, "Hello! Am I rat? A dog? A raccoon? It doesn't matter I'm Nezu the principal of UA!" The Rat was eccentric but that endeared him to Gunhead, "We are having a final staff meeting before the festival. There are a few minor details left that we need to go over! Do you think you can make it?" Currently Gunhead wasn't doing anything. So yes he could.

Gunhead nodded even though Nezu probably couldn't see it and he put his mask back on, "I'm on my way already!" That was a lie but Nezu didn't have to know that. He'd be there though.

The sound of Nezu clapping could be heard, "Thats great!"

Nezu then hung up.

Gunhead knew it was time to go then.

Crust was a very happy man right now. He had just finished the last day of training before the sports festival. So many passionate students! His favorite was the most passionate of them all! Yoarashi was like his long lost son or something! That or a younger brother from another mother.

But there were still some awesome other students as well! Midoriya, Bakugo, Nendo, Kendo, Iida, Uraraka, Monoma, Kuroiro, and Kamakiri were all so passionate too! Even if well over half of them weren't learning from him he still was proud of them. They had all accomplished so much! They even learned some new moves that were totally awesome.

Bakugo with His Howitser impact, Midoriya with his Full Cowling, Kendo with her Airforce(That was the day Crust learned to never underestimate size changing quirks, Nendo with his C-3 compact(The day that he discovered what Power Loader meant when 'The boy's making something really special with Hatsume. This years gonna be a good one' That attack... hurt... At least it looked like it did. Poor Crawler got the brunt of the impact.) Uraraka with her Meteor shower, Tsunotori with her Horn shower, his son/brother's? Galeforce Hurricane, and Kirishima's Red Riot: Unbreakable were the most notable ones. Although RRD(as Crust liked to call it) had a current time limit of 25 seconds.

There were also some attacks he didn't know yet because he wasn't in that day but he knew the explosive maniacs of the class had a few other new things.

He was proud of everyone though. Very proud. Everyone had come so far! This sports festival was going to be so exciting!

It was then Crust got a call, "Yello' Cust here!"

He heard the voice of the most passionate rat he'd ever seen, "Hello-"

Crust knew there was a staff meeting soon from that alone. He didn't even let the man finish, "I'll be there!"

Crust began running right away

"Its done!" I heard Hatsume call out as I just finished getting the padding ready. She then ran over to me, "We've got to try it! We only have two days left we need to make sure all the fine tuning we did actually worked and we don't need to do anything more to this baby," Hatsume was weird sometimes. She had little regard for safety regulations. And she didn't know what sleep was and I had to force her to sleep multiple times which made Power Loader go out and buy a nice card, Some chocolates, and a gift card to the Cafe. Despite that, Hatsume was a damn good friend by this point.

I grinned, "Alright! I've got the padding and the logo ready. But shouldn't we test this in one of the training gyms. I'm sure Gym Gamma is open and we wouldn't want to accidentally destroy your other inventions," Manipulating her was easy. Just mention her inventions being harmed if we did something and she instantly heard reasoning. I didn't like it but if it got her to at least regard safety for a little while than it was a nessicary evil. The other support students looked at me thankfully.

Hatsume stopped in her tracks, "Oh damnit your right. These would make anything you do much more destructive. Lets finish these babies up and then we can find somewhere out of harms way for you to test it," She began to walk again, "And they're called babies! Not inventions," I sweatdropped at that.

I couldn't help it and smiled, "Alright, Alright. Now lets finish this and we can go out and see the magic of art!" This would be tantamount to Midoriya's Full Cowling. My ultimate power-up. With this, I could artificially make my explosive resistance much more powerful. Or rather it'd take the impact for me until my resistance built up itself.

Hatsume rolled her eyes, "Your really obsessed with your explosions arent'cha? Why do you even call them art anyways?"

I sighed. Of course she'd say that

I looked at the notes on Togata-sempai's quirk that I had. 'The fact that I can even make sense of this is amazing,' Togata's quirk was quite frankly the most unique and complicated quirk I've seen. It's a class three quirk but Togata-sempai can make it work like a class six. It made my respect of the older boy skyrocket even higher than it was, "This is the most complicated quirk I've seen. I see why you needed a second noggin for this Hado-sempai," The third year sports festival was the day after the first years. Hado-sempai wanted to win this one. Two heads made the thinking process faster.

Hado grinned, "See? He just thinks its a crappy quirk. But he's near invincible! It's just dumb that he doesn't see it that way, he's always so humble. Anyways any ideas on how I can beat it? I've been stumped on anything other than fly and stall him," She sounded oddly serious today. I see why. Togata-sempai's quirk was quite frankly unstoppable. He couldn't get injured. By anyone. Or that's what it looked like. Nobody was truly invincible. Just really, really, really hard to injure sometimes

There was a weakness to everything however and timing is the key. I began writing, " Well that is you best bet from my first look," She pouted then. I sighed, "Let me finish," She nodded. I still don't get why she came to me for help. She could have figured this out herself given enough time, " Timing is key here," I pointed to the screen of his last sports festival, "Notice how he can still get hit within brief windows of time. A second or less most of the time. He can't keep all parts of his body permeated all the time unless he wants to sink into the ground. So his feet are targets. He likely knows this so he'd dodge any attack by sinking into the arena only slightly or completely. You would have to guess there. But it takes a lot of focus to do the former and then permeate an attack in a different area from what I guess and from what you told me. You see where I'm going with this?"

Hado nodded, "I've been thinking that, but if we know about it than Mirio does too. So we need to do something else. Good ideas though! I really wanna hear more about different people later now. Any other ideas Kohai?"

I nodded after thinking, "Your going to have to go for a mixed strategy. One he'd never expect," I had an idea. One that was going to be very focus intensive to pull off but it'd be worth it hopefully if she could win.

Hado's grin returned, "Spill it!"

I grinned again, "Okay, So your going to need to have a mixed strategy. A mix of the one I previously mentioned and a new one. Whilst trying to punch him and actually damage him, your going to need to lead Togata-sempai to the edge of the ring. Really make it seem like you don't realize it. He'll see it and think 'I can just get her out of the arena' and he'll try to punch you out of it. Or make you leave it by throwing himself into the punch. Knowing you'd lean back and out of the ring. But that's where the you winning part comes in. Instead of you being unaware you will be very aware. Or I hope you will. Once he goes for the final punch you will fly into the air. Kick him on the way if need be," It was a basic strategy but it should work.

Hado nodded, "That'll work. Thanks!" If only if planning for Yoarashi was this easy. I wasn't even sure if my support items would be enough at this point, "Now I need to return the favor. I've heard about the 'demon kids' who made Aizawa-sensei's life hell from him whilst he was training ya all. There's some good competition this year. We've gotta make sure you are ready," I suddenly felt hours of my time were going to disappear.

I grinned still, "Well then. What do you have in mind?"

She pulled out my support items from seemingly nowhere, "I asked Power Loader-sensei for a favor. Now with these in mind, we're going to have lots of fun thinking about how you are going to win your first sports festival!"

I gulped and cursed Power Loader mentally.

"So the sports festival is coming up. Do you think we could find some potential recruits there?" Re-destro mused. The sports festival was a place where quirks could thrive. Perhaps they could find someone to be a mole for them. That'd be splendid.

Curious was also curious. It was in her name. It was her name literally, "You think they'd have someone smart this time? Maybe a Mutant? Or a transformation type? There aren't many people with powerful Meta-abilities that aren't emitter. Or any that'd join our cause. Or anyone skilled with their Meta-ability. They'd be more likely to join the Rejects and the beast supremacy clan than us sadly,"

Trumpet nodded, "We aren't exactly well known anymore," That was a fact that Re-destro was glad about. If they were known then they'd be eradicated long ago.

Skeptic nodded and smiled, "And I'm proud of that. If we were found out anytime within the next 3 or 4 months we'd probably be slightly screwed. I think we should wait a bit before we poach anyone. We can weed out those who want to use their Meta-abilities for bad and those who actually want liberation for all," Little was known about the Meta-liberation Army's true goals. Most would think they were meta-ability obsessed maniacs who only cared about the strong.

That was true for a lot of members. But for the true leaders it was something much different. Destro wanted freedom for all. Mainly those with Meta abilities but he did predict that those without Meta abilities would be like them in the future. He wanted them to be liberation along with everyone else. That is what the MLA intended to do. They had those who had all sorts of meta abilities, they had those without meta abilities as well. There was no such thing as discrimination in their perfect world. Re-destro nodded to skeptics words, "Indeed. We still need to bide our time. But for now we can scope out those who may be interested in our goals,"

Everyone there nodded. And with that, the meeting was over

"Hosu's looking like a prime candidate to begin our campaign," Ms. Normal said to her inner council of either quirkless people or those who were late bloomers with one acception. They were all scorned and bullied by society the most. It was simply time for them to get what they fucking deserve. And she and her table of 'rejects' were happy to deliver that revenge. Although the literal table of rejects that was the Society Reject Avengers's dealing out some revenge would be pleasant.

Her closest confidant, Deku grinned. His quirk was special and one of the most powerful to their cause, "I like it. I presume we'd go after Ingenium, the number 11th pro hero?" He was right. As always. His quirk would be vital in their plan. All he needed was a glance and he'd bring terror to those who he saw. Ingeniums speed wouldn't matter.

Ms. Normal grinned too, "Right on the money my friend! We need to make a statement to the world. One that says 'We're here and we're making our society better. You can fuck off' to everyone. All will be welcomed to join our cause after this. Then soon we'll gear up for war," Her quirk would be especially helpful in this endeavor. Even the new number one hero Endeavor; would be useless against her.

Aware smiled softly, "I like it. I assume we go up from there right?" Her quirk was also vital to their operations. She had a sensor quirk. In her minds eye she could locate damn near anyone she pleased within a mile radius. Very useful for other operations.

Here and there also smiled softly. His quirk was being able to teleport anywhere he could visualise. He and Aware were a combo that would be vital in their was effort, "Sounds like it'd happen. I imagine our next target would be someone like Yellow flash or Kage," Those were some good choices.

Ms Normal smiled too, "Those are some good ideas but I feel like we'd need to go bigger ya know?" She looked to the silent member of their group who was currently sleeping. The youngest one too. Also the only one whom had their quirk since they were a kid, "I was thinking we'd kill the new number one,"

The man awoke and grinned, "I only caught that last one but I'm in," Dabi was possibly their strongest combatant. He had the most firepower out of all of them and that was in a literal sense. Aware and Here and there found him after he overused his quirk. He had to be stitched together but those scars faded with time. Now he was relatively good looking white haired young man who hated Endeavor and the rest of society for worshipping the man. He was very valuable. He was loyal to a fault and he loved them all dearly.

Ms Normal playfully smacked him, "Come on Dabi-kun. You shouldn't keep sleeping in these meetings!" Her face then turned serious as Dabi's posture straightened, Anyways our workings with the Shie Hassaikai are going well. Overhaul is working with us rather nicely. Although I want to kill the man. We need him at the moment. Then after we don't need him anymore we are going to get his research and then kill him. Then we are taking over his organisation and saving that little girl,"

Everyone got serious at that. They knew what Overhaul was doing, but they needed to bide their time, otherwise he'd get away and all of that valuable research would go to waste and they'd lose the little girl, Eri. She didn't deserve what was tantamount to torture at such a young 's hands ignited and quickly turned off at the mention of Overhauls deeds, "The second we can kill the man I'm burning him to a crisp," He sickened everyone here.

Deku grinned, "And I'll bring him nightmares so harsh he'll think that death is merciful right before you burn him to a crisp,"

Aware nodded, "I'll be happy to watch,"

Here and there also nodded, "And I'll take care of his henchman,"

Ms. Normal was happy her inner circle was so close. But did they really need to bond over the planned death of a man? Eh they did that when they initiated Dabi, "I'll make sure he can't use his quirk. And Oh we'll need to make sure he can't use it so we can have some fun with him then," The glint in her eyes was now evil.

Everyone shivered.

I looked to Yoarashi. This was the final spar before the festival. Both of us were grinning. Me more so in fear than excitement. Crawler-sensei looked at both of us, "Alright, the rules are simple. No instant knockouts, No C4, No new super moves, and no support items except for your clay," We both nodded as Crawler-sensei(as we lovingly called the man) looked at me when he said that last thing, "Begin!" He jumped out of the way.

Massive winds rushed toward me right away. I poised my hand to dodge and used an explosion for speed. I then began molding clay with my other hand and sent a clay dove after Yoarashi he promptly blew it away and it exploded. and an inferno cloak was created. I molded more clay and compressed it. The inferno cleared itself thanks to Yoarashi and he pushed more wind toward me.

I jumped out of its way this time and sent the compressed bomb after Yoarashi. it grew in size until it was as tall as my arm and as wide as a hairbrush on its side I exploded it before Yoarashi could retaliate. Luckily for him and unluckily for me, his wind protected him.

He then begun to fly and shoot air bullets at me. They were coming at high speeds. They would bruise and hurt a lot. I damn well knew that personally. I wouldn't let it happen to me right now.

I dodged and dodged and dodged I poised my hands 'Flameshot!' I called mentally and flame burst from my hands. Ignited Nitryoglycerin pretty much. Caused by a spark from my teeth which was mildly uncomfortable. Inferno's begun to pop up from the air bullets which couldn't get to me now that I had a defense.

I fired my flame at Yoarashi who dodged and threw another giant wind blast at me. I deactivated Flameshot and jumped back. I wasn't that dumb. Yoarashi was playing with me. Not going all out. Neither was I to be fair. I gathered Nitroglycerin into my palm. Enough for a C1 which was all I could handle at the moment without breaking my arm. I punched the air and an explosion happened. My hand hissed in pain but it wasn't broken. It just stung now. Explosion resistance that could be built upon was very good.

Thanks to the impact of the explosion, the air was pushed back with made Yoarashi grin, "THATS WHAT I LIKE TO SEE!" He grinned, "GALESHOT!" He called out which made Crawler sigh and he looked to me 'Don't get yourself killed' I nodded. Giant wind arrows sailed toward me at speeds that had become normal to me

I grinned and knew what I was going to do already. Bakugo's eyes lit up as he watched what I was about to do. He knew this attack very well from our last spar. Our shared special move if you will. One that he could do better and far more powerfuly, "I don't really know how this'll do but lets see how it does," I formed a circle around my hand mouth on my left hand with the right, "AP SHOT!" A concentrated blast came out of the hand. It wasn't even half as powerful as Bakugo's but I hoped it'd pierce through the winds and send Yoarashi into the wall and not me.

*BOOOOM!*

The room exploded practically and I was sent into the wall. Quickly Kirishima came to my aid as he was closest, "That was really manly! I think you almost got him this time!" Almost... That sucked but hey I almost got him this time. 'But Bakugo's would have for sure gone through it,'

I grinned, "Yeah... I think I'm ready though. We all are," Kirishima could tank literally anything now.

Kirishima grinned, "Thanks,"

I smiled then instead of grinning and then looked up and saw a very mad Skycrawler, "Uh... Mercy?"

Next chapter; the sports festival part one! I'm hyped now. This chapter took a few days to write(I wrote it today but it took a few days for me to start) because I was a bit in a funk but I'm better now. So I wrote this. I'm not really going to comment much on it today. I just don't feel like it to be honest. This chapter took a bit out of me to write. But a lot of important stuff happened during it. I wanted to include a bit more but I didn't know if I should.

Now that I think about it, I might go back and add a part or two and push this chapter up to 5K words. Yeah I think I'll do that. I'll be back in a minute everyone-

Okay the parts that were added were Hatsume and MC with the support item, Re-destro and co talking about the sports festival and wondering if they should be on the look out for more people, and the QBF's planning. Anyways its now tuesday when this was supposed to be out Monday. Great... Well I thought of how I want the story to end. By that I mean the final fight of the story and its going to be an epic one.

Anyways stalk out!
