ART NOT MINE
At a seashore in Dawn Island, there sat Luffy gazing at the night sky filled with thousands of stars. Makino was busy in the bar and there was no one else to play with, so the best thing he could do was gaze at those beautiful and bright stars. At the top, there was a very big and the most shiniest star which attracted Luffy's attention the most.
"What are you doing here Anchor?" he heard someone ask whom he obviously knew. "Shanks! I'm gazing at the stars! Come here!" Luffy exclaimed cheerfully and motioned him to sit beside Luffy. Having nothing else to do right now, he went and sat beside Luffy. "Do you know we all have a star in our life?" asked Shanks which made Luffy turn his gaze from the big and brightest star to the man sitting beside him. With a confused face, he asked "what do you mean?". "It means that, uh- like someone who always loves you and cares for you and does everything to always make you happy? Like someone very special to you!" replied Shanks with a nervous chuckle. Luffy then gazed back towards the big star again and smiled 'I wonder who my star is'
Ace was a rude and arrogant boy and never talked to Luffy at all. For the first few weeks, Luffy chased after Ace as far as he could, but was never successful to catch him. He never gave up until one day he finally caught up to Ace. "I want to be a pirate too" he exclaimed once he saw Ace and a blond boy talking about making a pirate ship but their reaction was not what Luffy had expected. They tied him up and even threatened to kill him but in the end they became friends after they rescued Luffy from the Bluejam pirates. Eventually they vowed with a cup of sake and became brothers after that.
After Sabo died, Ace felt empty. This best friend and brother died, leaving their kid brother with him to take care of. He wanted to cry, cry a lot, but he also knew he needed to comfort Luffy. He needed to be strong for his little brother. "I will not die" he promised to Luffy and he deeply intended to keep that promise. He needed to get strong, to protect his loved ones and be free.
The following seven years, Ace spent every minute of his time either training or taking care of Luffy. They barely went to the bandit's house and Makino visited once in a week, so it was automatically Ace's duty to raise his little brother now. He wasn't good at behaviour and when he heard Luffy curse for the fist time, he knew he needed to change, for his little brother. He tried learning his best from Makino, although he wasn't the best at good behaviour now, but was far more better than before.
Ace waved back at Luffy with a smile on his face. He was finally heading for his dream. "Watch over me, Luffy!" He thought in his mind.
"Thank you for loving me" he spoke and died on Luffy's arms. He stared at his brother's body and finally screamed his lungs out, enough for the whole Marineford to hear.
He trained and became strong to protect his nakamas. After two years, they finally met and continued their journey. They went to fishman island, then punk hazard where they formed an alliance with Trafalgar Law, then Dressarossa where he found out his brother Sabo was alive, then Zou, Cake island and then Wano.
Yamato mentioned how he and Ace became friends and how Ace told him a lot of things about Luffy. He teared up hearing his brother's name but kept it to himself since he needed to defeat an emperor right now.
After Kaido was defeated, him and Yamato sat at a seashore in Wano gazing at the stars. "Do you know, we all have a star in our life?" exclaimed Yamato which made Luffy quickly turn at her. He heard his somewhere. 'Oh yes, Shanks told me once' he remembered. Now he wonders who his star was? He closed his eyes and the only person came to his mind was his big brother. After Sabo left, Ace gave his everything to make Luffy happy, he even gave away his life for him.
He finally realised that the one who lived and cared for him the most, his star, was his brother Ace. Luffy gazed back at the stars to see the big star no longer there.
Just like the bright star which has vanished in the sky, Luffy's star was gone too. 'Ace, I wonder who was you star? Was it me?' he thought and finally closed his eyes.

So how was this fanfic? I'm sorry I didn't put much effort into this, but I'll try my best onto the next one :)
