It is eight o'clock now. It's been two hours since Kevin Lassiter was set free and the people of Tippecanoe, where Lassiter resided and committed his murders, has yet to hear of the news of his escape. He is being hunted down by the police. But there is police activity going on in Tippecanoe for a completely different reason. A police car passes by Van Buren's, where Maddy and her group had dinner at earlier.
After the police pass by and out of sight of Van Buren's, sixteen year old Beverly Carter comes out from hiding behind a tree. It's possible that the police car that passed by was looking for her. Beverly is a runaway who left her home over her parents' strict rules. So now she's come to Van Buren's to meet up with a much older guy that she met online. She's hoping to possibly crash at his place and hide from her parents. But the thing is that she's never actually met this guy.
Beverly enters the diner and finds an empty booth by the windows of the parking lot. She has never seen what this guy looks like. But she hopes that she'll see him coming from the parking lot. As she sits patiently, she feels her phone vibrating. She pulls out her phone to find that she's received a text message from somebody named BILLY.
Billy's text:
I'm here.
Beverly turns to the main entrance to see an older guy walking in. But he is immediately met up by another woman. This is not the man that she's waiting for. She continues looking around. There are several men who are alone and appear to be waiting for someone. Any one of them could be her date.
Beverly texts her date back:
Where are you?
Moments later, the date texts back:
I'm outside.
Beverly turns to the window. It is so dark out that she can't see much. Headlights from cars parking are blocking her view from the faces outside. She receives another text message:
Come outside.
Beverly sighs as she takes a moment to think about this. She texts back:
Ok.
Beverly gets up from the booth and walks outside. She looks around the parking lot for Billy. But everyone who was outside a moment ago is now gone. She looks around for her date. But she doesn't see anybody. She suddenly hears footsteps nearby. She follows the footsteps towards the back of the restaurant. There are no windows to give out any light back here, just the few street lights on the opposite end. So it is very hard for her to see what is out here. Very spooky.
"Hello? Billy?" Beverly calls out.
Beverly scans through the dark empty area. She sees a figure of a person in the distance. But it is too dark to see anything about this person. But she cannot see their facial features in the dark. But there is just something creepy and off about this person that makes her nervous.
"Fuck this!" Beverly says to herself.
Beverly proceeds to run until - she runs into someone, which scares her.
"Whoa! It's okay!" said the person.
Beverly takes a look at the person. It's a much older man in his mid thirties.
"Billy?" asked Beverly.
"Beverly?" asked Billy.
"Yeah." Beverly confirmed.
"Hey." Billy greeted her with a warm smile.
"Hey." a relieved Beverly greeted back. "I'm so glad that it's you."
"So am I. It's a scary night with bad people out." Billy points out. "I wouldn't want you to get yourself into trouble."
Beverly smiles, feeling safe and comfortable with this much older guy, who she should not be dating. But she doesn't care. She likes older guys. Plus, he looks much younger and is very handsome.
"That's sweet." said Beverly.
"Why don't we get out of here and go somewhere safe?" asked Billy.
"Sure."
"Okay. Let's go. My car is over there."
"Okay."
Billy and Beverly hold hands as they walk over to his car. Beverly looks back only to find that the scary figure is gone now. Where did this person go? Who was this person? Were they even there at all? Was it just Beverly's imagination?
Billy and Beverly drive Billy's black 1970 Dodge Charger through the main road of Tippecanoe. All of the businesses are starting to close up for the night. But many places are still open late at night. Billy and Beverly make conversation as they ride to their destination.
"So are you sure you're okay being with me?" Billy asked Beverly as he reminded her, "I am a much older guy."
"I don't care. You're a good guy." Beverly assures him. "Besides, you can't get in trouble. I'm of legal age to date anyone I want."
"That is very true. But your parents..."
"Fuck my parents. They are assholes. They can't control my life. I do."
"If you say so."
Billy smiles to himself. She has said everything that she needs to say for him to get away with being with her according to the law in Tippecanoe.
"Are we almost there?" asked Beverly.
"We'll be there in a few minutes." answered Billy.
A door opens bringing light into a dark motel room. Billy and Beverly enter together, turning on the lights, which illuminates the room. It's very cheap and simple. Not a fancy place to stay for a weekend. Mostly just for an overnight visit. Beverly becomes very nervous upon looking around the room. It's obvious why Billy brought her here. He realizes this and tries to ease her fears.
"It's okay, Beverly." Billy attempts to comfort her. "Everything is going to be okay."
Beverly is still uncertain of this. But before she can say anything, Billy somewhat forcefully pulls her over to the bed and they sit down. Beverly doesn't know how to respond to this. So she reluctantly goes with it. But she's still extremely nervous.
"Loosen up, babe. We're going to have some fun." said Billy, stroking her face.
Beverly feels that she has gone this far and he seems like a gentle guy. Things should be fine.
"Okay." Beverly nods in agreement.
Billy begins to kiss her. At first she doesn't know what to do. But as he continues to kiss her, she slowly gets into it. He goes down her neck, which she actually enjoys. She's never done this before and it feels really good. Can she go all the way or not? She really shouldn't be with a man in his thirties. But here she is. A runaway looking for a man to be with.
Billy and Beverly begin making out heavily. She's finally into it and willing to go all the way. Billy pulls up her shirt. Giving into it, Beverly helps him remove her shirt, revealing a white bra. As Beverly removes her bra, Billy leans her down on the bed. For Beverly, there is no turning back now. This is the moment.
Billy and Beverly are laying down in bed after just having sex. The blanket covers their naked bodies. Beverly has fallen asleep. Something Billy was waiting for. He checks up on her and finds that she is, indeed, asleep. So he slowly and quietly gets out of the bed and proceeds to get dressed. After fully dressing himself, he grabs his keys from the nightstand.
The noise of the keys awakens Beverly, who is confused by the commotion. She turns to see Billy heading out the door.
"Where are you going?" asked Beverly.
Billy sighs. He's been caught. Time to face the music. He turns to her and gives her a cold smile, finally revealing his true colors to her.
"Did you really think that I cared about you?" asked Billy.
"What?" asked a confused Beverly.
"You really thought that we had something?"
"Don't we?"
Billy chuckles over this.
"No!" scoffed Billy.
"But..."
"Look, kid, I just wanted to fuck you and now that I've done that...I'm done with you. Goodbye, kid."
Beverly is hurt by this. He's just going to leave her?
"Can't you at least take me home?" asked Beverly.
Billy chuckles.
"Walk yourself home." Billy exclaimed coldly before walking out the door.
Beverly sits on the bed with the truth soaking up; she was used for sex. She has just lost her virginity to a grownass man who just wanted her for her body. Nothing else. She meant nothing to him. She proceeds to sob to herself. How could this have happened to her? Maybe her parents were right and she was wrong to run away over their strict rules. They tried to warn her about this and it happened exactly as they warned her that it would.
Beverly grabs her cell phone and dials a number.
"Hello?" answered the voice of her father.
"Hello, Dad?" Beverly said over the phone.
"Beverly?! Where are you?" asked her concerned father.
Beverly starts crying again hearing how much love and concern that her father has for her.
"I'm so sorry. I made a big mistake. I wanna come home."
Her father knows exactly what happened. But that doesn't matter to him. What she did or who she did it with isn't what matters right now. What matters to him is that he has his daughter back home safe.
"It's okay, sweetheart. Just tell me where you are and I'll come get you." Her father informs her.
"Thank you." expressed a crying Beverly.
Perhaps everything will be okay. She made a mistake and has learned from it. Now she understands the love of her parents.
Billy is sleeping in his bed at his one bedroom apartment. The doorbell rings, which startles him awake.
"What the fuck?" asked a cranky Billy.
The doorbell continues to ring.
"Who the fuck is ringing at this time of night."
Billy gets up from his bed and marches out of his bedroom to the living room. He is extremely angry by this.
"This better be fucking good or you're dead!" Billy shouts at the person behind the door.
Billy unlocks his door and swings it open.
"What do you..." Billy begins to ask before - HE IS STABBED IN THE CHEST.
The attacker is Washington. The same costume and mask that Lassiter wore when he murdered Rebecca Stillson and Carl Winters.
Washington pulls the knife out of Billy's chest and Billy back ups into his apartment, which allows Washington to enter and close the door so that nobody in the hallway could see the murder. Billy is extremely wounded and spilling out a large amount of blood. He is weakened by this. He looks up at Washington, who raises his knife up in the air, preparing for the fatal blow.
"NO! WAIT!" begged Billy.
But Washington ignores his pleas as he swings the knife across Billy's throat. Billy gasps for air and chokes on his own blood before dropping to the floor. Washington looks down to see Billy's body lying on the floor with a pool of his own blood forming around him. Billy Calhoun is dead
