At Tippecanoe High School, Maddy and her group are back at the courtyard fountain. Only this time, Victor is added to the group. He and Maddy are so happy to be able to be together out in the open without fear of her father finding out from her friends. They are able to keep the secret.

"So how did you two meet?" asked Rachel.

"We have second period study hall together." answered Maddy.

"I was having trouble with an assignment and she was willing to help." Victor explained.

"Yep. That's my sister alright." said Finn. "Always helping the unfortunate ones."

Finn realizes how bad that sounds knowing Victor's home life. Everyone is shocked by this.

"I mean...uh..." Finn attempts to fix it.

"No worries, bro." Victor assured him. "I know you didn't mean anything by it."

"I can't wait for tonight." stated Aria.

"Me, too. I'm so excited for it." replied Rachel.

"Movie night!" exclaimed Finn.

"Steak night!" added Zachary.

"Sounds like a good time." said Victor.

"Yeah. I wish you could join us." said a disappointed Maddy.

"It's okay. I get it. Your Dad doesn't like me."

"No offense, Maddy. But fuck your Dad." exclaimed Aria.

"No, thank you." Maddy joked.

"Yeah. She'll leave that up for you." Veronica joked.

Everyone laughs. More slut-shaming jokes by Veronica at Aria's expense. But like before, she's not bothered by it. She takes it in stride.

The BELL RINGS. Time for everyone to separate to go to their classes.

"Want me to walk you to your class?" asked Victor.

"Of course." replied Maddy.

Maddy takes Victor's hand and they walk off together. The group smiles with joy over seeing Maddy with Victor.

"I am so happy for her." said Veronica.

"Me, too." said Zachary.

"I never thought I'd see her with a boyfriend." said Finn.

"She deserves to be happy." said Rachel.

An Investigator snaps a shot of Billy Calhoun's mutilated body before it is placed in a body bag by a morgue staff member. Staring at the body is DeLuca and Harding, who knows who is responsible for this murder.

"It's Lassiter. He did this." announced DeLuca.

Harding nods. He agrees with this and has come to a decision.

"The people of Tippecanoe need to be warned." stated Harding. "If this is, in fact, Lassiter's work, then more people will be murdered. Innocent people."

"Except for this piece of shit." said DeLuca, pointing out Billy, who they're aware of being a serial rapist. "I heard this bastard was acquitted in a rape trial because the girl was of age and he used the legal system to his advantage."

"I remember that case." said Harding. "The girl who he raped committed suicide the night he was acquitted."

"At least he won't be hurting any more girls." stated DeLuca before remembering, "But Lassiter will hurt more innocent people if we don't find him."

Maddy and Victor are attending their second period study hall class. Maddy is reading a book and Victor is drawing. Other students are doing different things. Some are even sleeping. The Study Hall Teacher is just sitting at his desk and reading something on his phone. Maddy and Victor frequently turn to each other to make silly faces at each other. They both nearly crack up with laughter out loud. But they have to stop themselves to avoid getting in trouble with the teacher.

Suddenly - Everyone's phones begin DINGING with notifications. The students all proceed to grab their phones to check what the urgent notification is all about.

"Excuse, ladies and gentlemen!" exclaimed the Study Hall Teacher. "But we don't have our phones out during class."

Nobody obeys him and completely ignores him.

"Are you freaking kidding me?" the Teacher mutters himself over being ignored.

The students are all reading the notification on their phones, which irritates the Teacher.

"What is so damn important that you all must be checking your phones now?!" the Teacher demands.

"Somebody was brutally murdered...right here in Tippecanoe." answered one Student.

"That is sad to hear. But..." the Teacher attempts to say more. But another student interrupts.

"Police are saying that the killer is the escaped killer Kevin Lassiter." announced another Student.

"What?!" exclaimed a third student.

"Kevin Lassiter?" asked a shocked fourth student.

Even the Teacher is now alarmed by this.

"Oh, shit." the Teacher mutters to himself.

Kevin Lassiter isn't just another person who murdered an innocent teenage girl. But he is now a legend in Tippecanoe. He is the town's Boogeyman. He is what Michael Myers is to Haddonfield, Ghostface is to Woodsboro, Freddy Krueger is to Springwood, and Jason Voorhees is to Crystal Lake. Kevin Lassiter is Tippecanoe's monster. And now after six years of Tippecanoe recovering from the horror of Lassiter's murders, the monster is loose and back at Tippecanoe.

James is having his lunch at his office and is watching TV. The news begins to broadcast a new story.

"This is breaking news." the new announcer alerts the viewers.

James looks up at the TV to see what this breaking news is all about.

"Good afternoon.'' The anchorwoman greeted the viewers. "We have some breaking news to report. Last night, Kevin Lassiter, the man responsible for two people six years ago, escaped from Bayriver County Hospital and has already killed a man in Tippecanoe. The victim is thirty-six year old Billy Calhoun."

This entire news is shocking to James. The most shocking is the strangest coincidence of all of this. James was the presiding judge in both of their cases. He is horrified at the thought of Kevin Lassiter on the loose to kill more innocent people. Who will he kill next?

Maddy and her group are sitting down together in the cafeteria for lunch and talking about Kevin Lassiter.

"I can't believe he got out." stated Zachary. "How did he manage that?"

"The police say that he was helped by a security guard, who killed many staff members." Rachel informed them. "Then Lassiter apparently killed him after they left the hospital."

"I wonder why he killed Billy Calhoun of all people." wondered a curious Finn.

"Random victim?" Zachary guessed.

"It would be the biggest fucking coincidence." stated Finn before adding, "Our Dad was the Judge in both of their cases."

It finally hits Maddy. "That's right. He was. One made him popular and the other made him unpopular."

Still new to all of this, Victor is confused by this statement.

"How does he go from popular from one case to being unpopular from another?" asked Victor.

"Putting Lassiter away made him popular." Maddy informs him.

"Acquitting Calhoun made him unpopular." Finn informs him.

"Why did that make him unpopular?" asked Victor.

"Because Billy Calhoun was a fucking rapist." answered Rachel.

"Everyone knew it." added Finn.

"Hell, my Dad even knew it and he was Billy's lawyer for fuck sakes." stated Aria.

"After Billy was acquitted, his rape victim committed suicide." stated Maddy.

"Wow." expressed a sympathetic Victor. "Well, then he deserved to die."

"Damn straight. Billy Calhoun got away with rape. But he didn't get away with murder...being murdered that is." Zachary pointed out.

Rachel is annoyed with the subject.

"I don't want to even think about that time." expressed Rachel. "I lost my sister around that time. Every time I hear about the Billy Calhoun case, I can only think about my sister's murder."

"Your sister was murdered?" asked a shocked Victor.

"Yep. She was. And like Billy Calhoun, her killers got away with it."

"I'm so sorry to hear that." expressed Victor.
