"Woah, the house looks good but let's hope things are okay, plus I made the house power-proof so if Oreo does go supernova again, it'll be okay." Rocket told Lylla
"Let's hope so but ikpressed you're the vice-dean of Avengers Campus or that you got us lodging on the campus but Oreo went down hard for her nap, I hope she's okay." Lylla replied to him.
It was a few days later after Shocket babysitting Oreo and their apartment buildihg getting wrecked but Rocket had talked to his friend, Carol Danvers who happened to be the dean of said campus about lodging on the camous plus had enrolled Oreo which the female-kit was not happy about until he'd explained it would help her control her powers but she'd been olaying and gotten hyper
"She's not good with change but she'll get used to it." he told her seeing her nodding as they'd unpacked their things plus Rocket was fixing Oreo a snack for when she woke up not noticing the female-cub sleep-flying but Lylla did alerting him majihg him sigh catching her gently and putting her on the couch so she could finish her nap not wantingher to be cranky which Lylla agreed with.
"You're being a good dad to her you know, besides beihg her friend." she told him makijg him blush at her words and aftee a while saw Oreo awake huggijg them making them chuckle guessing she slept okay seeing her eating Oreos and dipping them in milk which was cute seeing Chewie but also Lil Scruff, the stuffed otter Lylla had given her but had Lylla's scent all over it which helped her when Lylla wasn't around like he'd put his scent on Chewie for when he wasn't around like at school.
"Yeah I slept okay guys, but you okay." Oreo asked.
"Yeah we were just doing grown-up stuff." Lylla told her.
"Ohhhh okay but just you know." Rocket told her.
"Oreo come back, you have to have a bath, you can'tvsmell like trash on your first day of school." Lylla heard Rocket yelling seeing Oreo runnijg off using super-speed but she grabbed her gently, relieving Rocket that she'd caught Orei but giving her a bath which was relaxing her knowing she was worrying about school asking why, as it might help her feel better.
"The other cubs might be mean to me because I'm different, the teacher might not he nice and that I can't take Chewie with me." she told them making them understand reassuring her that it would be okay and that of course she could take Chewie relieving her wearing her nightshirt which had the moon on it knowing how much she loved the moon even Shocket had told him this after she'd told him what happened.
"Moonie." she said pointing to her shirt.
"Yeah we know you love the moon." Lylla told her.
"Why do you like the moon, honey." Rocket asked.
"It makes me feel hopeful daddy." she replied to him
That made him smile as he guessed it was to do with her past life but dedided not to tell her like not tellijg Lylla he'd brought her back using the Forge as she'd freak out if she inew so was putting a glow in the dark moon and stars on Oreo's walls so it would ease her anxiety about sleeping in the dark which she loved
"Thanks daddy as Inlove the moon." she told him.
"I know honey but you look sleepy." he told Lylla found sweet making Oreo a bedtime snack to make her extra sleepy for bed seeing her smile
