Roosevelt returns to the main office after attending the SURFACK session. The main office is empty from the usual office staff and major administrators (like the Vice Principal) who are off to lunch or doing other duties outside of the office. The only person present is his personal secretary, forty-four year old Melinda Lillins.

"Hello, Melinda." greeted Roosevelt.

"Hello, Mr. Roosevelt." Melinda greeted back.

"I see you're alone again."

"Just waiting for you to return before I left for lunch."

"Well, you go enjoy lunch. I'll hold down the fort until everyone returns."

"Thank you, Mr. Roosevelt. Afternoon."

"Afternoon."

Melinda grabs her purse and leaves Roosevelt by himself in the empty main office. Roosevelt goes to his office. He opens his closet and hangs up his jacket. Before he can close the closet door, his office phone rings. He sits at his desk and answers the phone.

"Principal's Office. This is Principal Roosevelt." Roosevelt greeted the caller.

Roosevelt finds his letter opener and starts playing with it as the caller begins to speak.

"I'm sorry. But Mr. Hoover is out to lunch. Can I leave a message?" Roosevelt asked the caller. "No problem. Goodbye."

Roosevelt hangs up the phone and stays sitting at his desk. He takes a look at his letter opener and reads the inscription on it. As he spaces out, he hears movement coming from outside his office, which is the main office center. This baffles him as nobody is supposed to be here. Everyone is off to lunch. Maybe somebody came early. Either way, Roosevelt's curiosity gets to him and he gets up from his chair and walks out of his office.

"Hello?" Roosevelt called out. But he gets no response. "Is somebody out here?"

There is no response. Perhaps he was just hearing things. He goes to turn back to his office. But he hears footsteps down a narrow hallway between offices. So he decides to investigate the footsteps. As he walks down the narrow hallway, he walks by an open door without looking inside. Upon walking past this door – Washington steps out and stares at him unbeknownst to Roosevelt. As Roosevelt walks further down the hallway, Washington goes the opposite direction, going in the direction that Roosevelt came from.

"Is somebody here?" asked Roosvelt.

But he gets no response. There is no sign of anybody around the office. Roosevelt sighs and gives up. He's not going to waste anymore time looking for somebody that is not here. So he decides to turn back and walk back to his office.

Roosevelt returns to his office. But he immediately finds something suspicious. His closet door has been closed and the letter opener has disappeared. The phone rings, which startles Roosevelt and makes him jump. He answers the phone.

"Hello?" Roosevelt greeted the caller. But there is no answer. "Hello?"

Suddenly, the closet door bursts open and Washington storms out. Roosevelt only has time to spin around to Washington as the killer runs the letter opener into his chest. Roosevelt screams out in pain. Holding the Principal with his right hand, Washington uses his left hand to pull the opener down, ripping Roosevelt's chest and stomach wide open. Roosevelt continues to scream out as he's being gutted open. Blood and organs spill out of his body. Each time Roosevelt opens his mouth to express his pain, blood spews out, painting his face with his own blood. Roosevelt's eyes rolled back.

Washington pulls the letter opener out and allows Roosevelt's body to fall. Roosevelt's body first lands on the desk but immediately slides off onto the floor. His blood soaks the floor. Gerald Roosevelt is dead.

Maddy, Veronica, and Rachel are attending culinary art class together. They are partnered up to bake a carrot cake.

"So we pour in the sugar, flour, vanilla, oil, eggs, baking soda, baking powder, grated carrots, and pecans." said Maddy, reciting the instructions to Veronica and Rachel.

Maddy pours in the sugar, flour, baking powder while Veronica pours in the vanilla, oil, and eggs, and Rachel pours in the baking soda, pecans, and grated carrots into a mixing bowl.

"Then we stir it with an electric mixer." Maddy reads the instructions. "Who should start?"

"I can do it." said Veronica.

Maddy hands Veronica the mixer, who then turns it on and begins mixing in the ingredients. The three take turns holding the mixer as they talk.

"So tell me about this group." requested Rachel.

"They're great people." Maddy begins to inform her friends. "They're survivors of several different types of trauma. They understand what we went through. I think you two should join."

"Maybe. I don't know." said a hesitant Veronica.

"I'm not sure if I would consider myself a survivor since the asshole didn't touch me." said Rachel. "Do you think he'll strike us again?"

"I don't know. I'm very scared that he might." stated Maddy.

The thought frightens Veronica.

"I don't know and I don't want to think about it." said Veronica.

Maddy reads the directions.

"Now we..."

Suddenly - THE FIRE ALARM GOES OFF. This startles everyone. The Culinary Arts Teacher is confused by this. She was not informed of a scheduled fire drill. Perhaps this was a last minute decision by Roosevelt. Regardless, she must do her duty as a responsible adult and a teacher.

"Alright, everyone. Line up and quietly exit the classroom!" the Culinary Teacher instructs.

All of the students get in line and proceed to exit out of the classroom.

As the teachers are evacuating the students out of the building, the confused administrators are searching for Roosevelt, who should have informed them of the unscheduled fire drill. Even the Janitor, who is usually the one assigned to activate the fire alarms, is confused by this. Nobody informed him of a fire drill. Who planned this fire drill? Leading the search for the Principal is Vice Principal William Hoover.

"Gerald, where are you?" asked Hoover over a walkie-talkie.

There is no response from the Principal. Realizing that something is not right, Hoover proceeds to give instructions to other staff.

"Are all of the students out of the building?" asked Hoover over the walkie-talkie.

"Almost." stated a Staff Member over the walkie-talkie.

"Alright. Buchanan, Polk, Hayes, and Garfield...you go all around the building and search for Roosevelt." Hoover instructs the other Administrators.

"We're on it, Bill." replied one of the Administrators over the walkie-talkie.

A nervous and confused Hoover looks around, still trying to comprehend the situation and all of the confusion. As far as all of the students know, it's just another fire drill. But Hoover knows that something isn't right here. Something is very wrong.

"Where the hell are you, Gerald?" Hoover asked himself.

"All of the students have been evacuated, Mr. Hoover." stated a Staff Member over the walkie-talkie.

"Okay, Stuart, shut the alarms off." Hoover instructed the Janitor.

"Yes, sir." replied the Janitor.

"Has anyone found the Principal yet?" asked Hoover.

"No, sir. We cannot find him." stated one of the Administrators over the walkie-talkie.

"Shit!" exclaimed Hoover to himself.

The fire alarms are deactivated and the entire building goes silent.

"Good job, Stuart." Hoover compliments the Janitor over the walkie-talkie.

"It wasn't me." replied the Janitor.

This confuses and alarms Hoover.

"What the hell do you mean you didn't do that?" asked Hoover.

"I haven't made it to the basement yet. Somebody else turned off the alarm."

"Well, who did it then?" asked Hoover. "Buchanan? Polk? Hayes? Garfield?

"Not me." replied Buchanan.

"I don't have the keys for it." stated Polk.

"I didn't do it." said Hayes.

"I'm not even close to the main alarm system." said Garfield.

Hoover is startled by this. Who did this? Who is responsible for this fire drill incident? And where the hell is Principal Roosevelt at?

"Mr. Hoover, are we clear to let the students back in?" asked a Staff Member over the walkie-talkie.

But Hoover does not respond. He's too confused and dumbfounded to respond.

"Mr. Hoover?!" called out the Staff Member.

Hoover finally snaps to it and responds.

"No. Remain standing by until we figure this out." ordered Hoover.

All of the students are either lined up or gathered around together outside. They're beginning to get confused by the lack of further instructions. They would have usually been cleared to return to class by now. But they find themselves just standing out here without a word from someone to instruct them to go back inside. Maddy's group has come together while waiting.

"What the hell is going on?" asked Finn.

"I have no idea." replied Rachel.

"They usually don't keep us out here this long." stated Zachary.

"I'm cold!" exclaimed Veronica. "I forgot my coat inside."

"We'll be back inside soon." stated Maddy.

Victor approaches them.

"Hey, guys!" Victor called out to them.

"Oh, hey, Victor." greeted a smiling Maddy.

"Sup, dude!" greeted Finn.

"You're not going to believe what's going on." announced Victor.

"What is it?" asked Rachel.

"As my class was walking out of the building, I heard one of the staff member's radio...this was not a planned fire drill and Principal Roosevelt is missing." Victor informed them.

The group glances at each other with a "What the hell?" look on their faces.

"Then where the hell did he go?" asked Finn.

Suddenly, all of the staff and students gasp and scream at something. Maddy's group all turn around and are shocked by what they are witnessing - A BODY FALLS from the roof. The body lands hard on the ground. Everyone screams and backs away from the body as it lands. The school's Resource Officer approaches the body and finds that it's ROOSEVELT.

"Oh, my God!" exclaimed the Resource Officer.
