Hello, all! I'm so very proud to begin this. To be perfectly honest, Sailor Moon is probably what began my journey into fan fictions. Before I was writing, back when I was a kid, I would imagine a character based on myself who would fight alongside the Sailor Guardians (Sailor Scouts when I was a kid. Yes, I was raised on the DiC dub. Yes, I still love it!). I've even written a couple of Sailor Moon stories that I'll never post anywhere. Sorry, those are private and because I just wanted to do it.

Also, I'm posting this on my birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

I really hope you guys enjoy this! I can honestly say, this is one of my favorite things I've ever worked on.

Let's get this party started!

Prologue

The Space-Time Door.

Sailor Pluto stood at the Space-Time Door, thrilled to see Small Lady back home in the 30th Century. Moreover, the threat of the Black Moon Clan and the Death Phantom was finally gone. Things seemed well.

Then a pull tugged in her heart.

Pluto could feel it so strongly. It didn't feel like danger.

But it did feel urgent.

She looked through time and saw Cass and Victor. Cass was a man with the power of dragons. He was tall, dark-skinned with long black hair tied in a ponytail. Victor was a boy, no older than Usagi and the other Guardians at their current ages in the 20th century, with shadow/darkness powers. Victor was a bit darker skinned than Cass and Victor's hair was styled in short dreadlocks. How Pluto could see their abilities or knew their names, or why she was seeing them, she didn't know. She'd never met them. She'd never seen them before. But, now, something about them drew her to watch them.

Airspace Over Japan.

Cass saw her in the mist. The staff, the long green hair. The uniform. He knew a Sailor Guardian uniform anywhere. He'd met and fought alongside plenty of Guardians over his several centuries of life. Even if he didn't know this particular Guardian.

Though, somehow, he did know her moniker.

Taking in a sharp breath, Cass woke up in his seat on the airplane.

"You okay, boss?" Victor asked, who sat in the seat next to him.

Cass smiled a bit. "I'm fine, thank you. Just another vision."

"What about?"

"Not sure yet. Nothing urgent, I promise."

"If you say so."

They looked out of the window and stared at the city they were soon to land in.

Tokyo.

"Welcome to Japan," Victor grinned.

"Yeah," Cass replied. "Let's prevent it from being a warzone."

"We'll try." Victor stared down at the city lights, "Think they're here?"

Cass nodded. "I know they are."

"Gotta agree. Might be in for another tough round, boss."

"Story of my existence," Cass mused. "Get some rest, Vic. We'll be busy enough when we land."

Victor nodded and put his headphones back on, leaning his head back.

Cass looked back at the city beneath them then stared up at the starry night's sky. 'I've seen you quite a bit lately,' he mused, silently. 'One must wonder why. I wonder if we'll meet someday.' He whispered, "Sailor Pluto."

Usagi sat on the floor, leaning on her window seat as she gazed up at the sky.

Waking up, Luna took a deep breath and looked around. She noticed Usagi wasn't in bed and saw her staring out of the window, "Usagi?"

"Hm?" Usagi asked.

"It's late. Why are you still up?"

"I dunno. Just… thinking, I guess."

Luna hopped up on the window seat. "About Chibiusa?"

"Yeah," Usagi confirmed. "And… other stuff."

"Like what?"

"The Black Moon Clan."

"Really? What about them?"

Usagi thought for a moment. "We… we do a lot of fighting, Luna."

Luna looked off, "Yeah. I guess we do."

"But… we can't always save everyone. Right?"

Luna looked back at her.

"Just… is it always this way?"

"Not always. But… sometimes. The fighting is necessary. But you save more people than you realize. Look at Koan and her sisters."

"I know." Usagi moved and sat with her back against the wall. "Think we're gonna be okay?"

Luna smiled, "Absolutely. I mean… Chibiusa is your daughter. That says the future will work out."

Usagi smiled. "Yeah. Yeah! You're right! Thanks, Luna."

"Anytime, Usagi."

Later into the night, while Usagi slept, Luna was startled a wake by a strong presence. It was fleeting. But it was strong.

And menacing.

A/N: Not a bad start, huh? Wait until we get going! Get ready for it!
