Frodo wakes up horrified. Lucy wakes up and looks at Frodo, "Are you okay," she asked. He doesn't look at her, "Yeah I just had a nightmare," he says. She looks at him, "It's nothing," he says.
Sam wakes up and looks at both of them, "Mr. Frodo, is it about Gandalf," he asked. Frodo doesn't say anything, he just looks at the clouds, "I always thought he was going to magically show up out of nowhere, but I don't think he made it out of the mines alive," he says. Sam looks down, "You know Mr. Gandalf wouldn't want to see you down like this, come on, we got to keep moving," he says.
They walk through the fog as they kept going. They kept walking and walking through the fog. Lucy looks around, "Where are we," she asked. Sam sighs, "I have no idea where we are going," he says. Frodo groans, "I know where, we are going in circles," he says. Sam gets angry at Frodo, "Well I wish we knew where we were going," he says. Lucy gets mad, "Stop it you two, we should just rest for the night, it's going to get dark, and there is no way that we are going to make it at night without getting attacked, "she says. Sam and Frodo sighs as they brought their stuff down. Frodo looks away from Sam, "If we brought a map, maybe there would be a way to get to Mordor," Frodo says. Sam doesn't say anything, and they just ignored each other.
It started to get nighttime and Lucy looks at her book that Galadriel gave her. She opens the book and looks at it. There was a bunch of markings on the book. She sees her, Frodo and Sam rowing a boat through the river a few days ago. She smiles, "It's starting to grow, it is magical, I wish there was something like that in my world," she says. Frodo looks at Lucy, "Is that your book, I thought there was nothing in there," Frodo asked. She smiles, "No not really, it's magic, Galadriel told me the book will fill up whatever journey I take," she says. He smiles, "That will be an amazing thing to see when it gets farther to the end," he says. She nods.
It started to get nighttime, and there was a creature climbing down the cliff, "I needz it, I wantz it," it said as it reached for Frodo.
Frodo, Sam, and Frodo wake up, and looks at the creature. Frodo and Sam pull out their sword and point it at the creature, "You have been following us for so long, and you want to take the ring for yourself," Frodo says. Sam looks at the creature, "We should kill him," he says. Lucy looks at Sam and Frodo points the sword closer to the creature, "We know who you are, Gollum," Frodo says.
Gollum groans and starts screaming.
They continued walking through the rocky marsh as the fog went away. Gollum is still screaming as Sam had a rope and he tied Gollum to it. Gollum screams as he tried to pull away from them, "It burns us," he screamed.
Lucy covers her ears, "I am getting a headache from him screaming like this," she says. Sam looks at Frodo, "Even the orcs can hear them from Mordor, Mr. Frodo can we just leave him here," Sam says. Frodo shakes his head, "No we can't, he will help us to get to Mordor, he's been there, haven't you, Gollum," he says. Gollum looks at the Hobbits, "Yes I been there, but I do not want to go back, it's torture," he says. Lucy looks at Frodo, "And then can we leave him with orcs," Lucy asked. Frodo nods, "Sure, we can leave him there," he says to Lucy. Sam looks at both of them and sighs. Gollum screeches, "No I can't, I don't want to get attack from the orcs," he says. Frodo looks at Gollum, "Then you will take us to Mordor, and guide us there," Frodo says. Gollum nods, "Yes, anything," he says. Frodo looks at Gollum then at Sam, "Promise," Frodo asked. Gollum nods, "I promise," he says. Frodo looks at Sam, "Let him go, he promised," Frodo says. Sam groans, "No then he is just going to leave," he says. Frodo looks at Sam with a serious face and then he sighs. Frodo looks at Gollum and then he unties him. Gollum smiles and starts walking, "Come on Hobbits and young girl we make way through the marsh," he says as he showed them the marsh with a bunch of rivers and puddles.
