It was a sunny day on the other side of the land. The orcs were running through the plains with Merry and Pippin on their shoulders. Pippin wakes up and looks at Merry who didn't wake up. Pippin looks around and then tries to call Merry to wake up," Merry," he called. Merry didn't wake up yet, and one of the orcs smell something. The captain looks at the orc, "What is it? What do you smell?" he asked. The orc smells around, "I smell man," he says. The captain looks ahead, "They must have picked up our sent, come on we got to go," he says. They all started to run, and Pippin looks at Merry, "Wake up," he called. Merry woke up and looks at Merry, "Merry, where are they going to take us," Pippin asked. Merry looks at Pippin, "We never know Pippin," Merry says. Merry then sighed, "Maybe we should have Elrond send us back to Hobbiton, we aren't meant for this," Merry says. Pippin sighs and then he looks at his ornament that Galadriel gave him. He took it out and dropped it. The orcs trampled on it.

Farther behind them, Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Peter, Edmund and Susan were running trying to keep up with the orcs. Gimli panted, "How long do we have to keep up with them," he asked. Legolas turned around, "Come on, the more that we keep up, the more we can save Merry and Pippin," he says to Gimli. Gimli growls, "I haven't eaten in days, and I need some energy to keep myself up," he says. Susan smiles and laughs. Peter looks at Aragorn, "You think that the Hobbits will still be alive," Peter asked. Aragorn panted, "We only just need to find out," he says.

The night came as the orcs drop the hobbits down to the ground, "Okay we need to rest, we been running all day and all we have eaten is elven bread," one of the bigger orcs says. The other orc nodded, "Yeah when can we have real meat...hey we can have some of the Hobbits, they have fresh meat," the little orc says. The captain got mad, "No, we have to keep them alive, the boss says so. They carry something that we need," he says. The little orc sighs, "Maybe just their arm, they don't need those," he says. The captain sighed and looked at the Hobbits, "Oh what the heck, looks like meat is back on the menu boys," he says. All the orcs screech in triumph as they grab Merry and Pippin.

Suddenly a bunch of horsemen attacked all the orcs. They all screamed and fight.

Merry and Pippin use the axe to cut their binds together. They fought through the crowd and ran away. Suddenly a horse was about to trample on Pippin.

The sun was coming up, "A blood red sunset rise in the north. Blood has been shed," Legolas says. Susan gets worried, "Then something must have happened to the Hobbits," she says. Aragorn looked at the north, "Then we got to hurry," he says.

They got to the middle of the plain, and Aragorn stopped, and he looked down and it was the trinket that Pippin dropped. He looks ahead and he sees a group of horse galloping through the plains. Peter looked at them, "Who are they," he asked. Edmund was fascinated by the group of horsemen riding through the plains. Aragorn yelled, "Riders of Rohan, what news from the marsh," he asked.

The Riders of Rohan galloped and surrounded Aragorn, and the group. The captain of the riders looked at the group, "And what does a Ranger, an Elf, a Dwarf, two young men and a young girl want to do with this," the man asked. Gimli looks at everyone and growls. Peter stands in bravery, "We are looking for a group of orcs who were carrying two Hobbits, have you seen them," Peter asked. Edmund looks at Peter and then ignores him. The rider looked at everyone, "Well we killed all the orcs, we did not leave any alive," he says. They all leave.
