Chapter 1
1 month later...
It was risky, but the Rose Xiao Long siblings had left, with their dog Zwei for support, and headed to find their parents. They left a note for their Uncle Qrow, and hoped he wouldn't bring them home.
Ruby was dressed in a combat skirt, with red frills, and long sleeves, with a corset on, and a red hood. She also had combat boots and black leggings.
Yang wore a tan jacket that showed her midriff, with a low cut crop. She had a brown belt covered by a pleated brown piece of material reaching from hip to hip around the back of her waist, with her emblem emblazoned on the right-most pleat in gold. She also had a pair of brown, knee-high boots and orange over-the-knee socks, with the right sock pushed down just below the knee. To top it off, she had an orange scarf around her neck, a purple bandana around her left knee, and fingerless gloves.
As for Sonic, he had no clothing, seeing as he had fur covering his body. He did wear white gloves, and a pair of red sneakers with a white stripe with a buckle on them.
Right now, they were on top of a building in Vale, and they had supplies they needed.
Ruby got out a pair of high tech binoculars, with an ear piece, and looked into them.
In the building, a suspicious man was having an online meeting, and on the screen, was a man with a red lab coat, that looked overweight, and a very bushy mustache.
"There he is," said Ruby, "Dr. Robotnik."
Ruby let Sonic and Yang have a look, and Sonic said, "That's him!? Looks more like Eggman!"
"Eggman," said Yang, "That's a good one!"
"Now, we have the plans for the attack," said Eggman, "But the main generals, are not cooperating."
Then, from the darkness, strapped to chairs, was Tai and Summer.
"We'll never help you!"
"Mom! Dad!" said Ruby.
Just then, a crash was heard, and Eggman said, "GROUNDER, SCRATCHER! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?"
"IT WAS CUBOT AND ORBOT!"
"No, that was us Scratcher."
"Yeah, it was them!"
"Indeed."
"Oh, I got to go. Meet me at the base."
He hung up, and the person got up.
"He's on the move!" said Ruby, "Come on!"
On the ground, the man was dressed in a black suit, and sunglasses on, walking away.
The trio, all with magazines in front of them, took a peak.
"There he goes!" said Yang.
They put their magazines down, and followed the man, casually, and sneaky, into an alleyway.
However, it was a dead end.
Just then, a door was slammed down, and a car was pulled up, blocking their way.
In the car, the man was called by Robotnik.
"We only need, the girls."
The car then took off, and Sonic curled up, and spun in place for a bit, then charged forward in a blur, and rammed the front, damaging it horribly, and it landing on it's roof.
Sonic got up, and dusted himself off.
"Good job Sonic!" he said to himself.
Yang then kneeled, and knocked on the window.
The window rolled down, and the man wasn't even fased about the whole ordeal.
"What?"
"Where's Robotnik!?" demanded Yang.
"I'm not talking to you."
Later...
Yang was holding the car over an abandoned bridge, over the harbor.
The man was freaking out, and he said, "ANIMA! HE'S ON THE ANIMA WESTERN COAST!"
"The Western Coast," said Ruby, "Of course."
Just then, airships were seen, and they had a logo that looked like Robotnik.
"Time to go guys," said Yang, "Let's get going!"
Yang threw the car on the bridge, and pressed her keys.
From the distance, came a motorcycle, that Ruby and Yang jumped onto.
"Let's go!"
Yang started it up, and the trio raced off, with the ships not too far behind.
"Gotta go fast!" said Sonic.
"Mistral!" said Ruby into her scroll, "Guys, there's a flight going to Mistral in 15 minutes!"
Just then, the airships then appeared above them, and they dropped robots that resembled animals.
"Sonic, it's time to Juice and Jam!" said Yang, shooting a rope out that Sonic caught.
Sonic then went from a 60 mph to a 280 mph in just three seconds.
However, the airships were just like that, and robots that were orange, and with blue eyes, landed on motorbikes and armed with weapons.
One however, threw a bomb at a passing truck, and the siblings freaked out.
"RUBY, YANG!" said Sonic, "GET TO THE AIRPORT! I'LL GET THE BOMB!"
"BE CAREFUL!" said Yang.
Sonic let go, and jumped to the other road, and grabbed the bomb, before rushing about.
Ruby then unleashed Crescent Rose, her weapon, into gun mode, and with quick reactions, shot many of the robots, before they fired back.
Yang maneuvered well, even making one crash into another.
With Sonic, he was being chased by flying bots, and he boosted through, hitting objects, and launching them into the bots before they could react.
He then arrived at an open bridge, and saw Ruby and Yang still being chased by one last bot.
Sonic rushed forward, only to get blocked by an airship, which fired a missile.
Sonic made a left turn, and had the missile chase him, making sure it was locked on him. He then made a U-turn back to the airship, and jumped right over it.
The robot piloting the ship looked back to the right, only to see the missile race right into the ship, blowing it up.
The robot chasing the sisters was trying to grab Ruby, when it felt something on it's head.
Sonic was standing on it, with his arms crossed, and jumped off, catching up with the sisters.
The robot then saw a disk on it's head, and looked at it, and saw it was the bomb!
It then threw it at the last airship, blowing it up.
It then crashed into a fork in the road, and Yang said, "Nice work bro!"
"What would we do with out you?" asked Ruby.
"We'll have plenty of time on the plane," said Sonic, "Let's go!"
They sped off, but just before the airport, was a massive army of bots.
They stopped, but Sonic kept going. In fact, he went so fast, everything stopped around him.
"Heh," he laughed, "Let's have some fun."
Sonic then went around, turning the bots around, facing each other, and making the ships point towards the ground, along with pointing any weapons at the wrong target, and trashing any bots that were in his way.
After a what felt like 2 minutes to Sonic, he arrived back at his sisters, and time resumed, with no more than a second passing.
The robots then rammed into each other, ships crashing into the ground, and so many other mishaps going on.
Soon, all that was left was scrap metal, and broken circuits.
"Okay," said Yang, "You did it, didn't you?"
"Yeah," said Sonic, "I did. I got some picture if you wanna see them."
"Yeah! We wanna see them!"
With Robotnik...
Robotnik was sitting in his office, and got a call.
"Did they take the bait?" he asked.
"Yes, they did," said the caller.
"Good, make sure to set it up."
Robotnik then looked at the set of gems he had.
"We're so close. Only four more to go."
Just then, a chicken robot, a green bot with caterpillar treds, a red robot, and yellow one fell down on Robotnik's desk, and said, "UM, HIS IDEA!"
"Snoo PINGAS usual I see," said Robotnik.
