"It's been so many years since I was last here."
Gregory looks at the old pizza plex, the place that began his nightmares as a lonely child. He sighs before reaching into his pocket and pulled out an old chip. That chip belong to a good friend of his and someone he saw as a father figure, Freddy Fazbear. He shut down 5 years ago after Vanessa couldn't keep up with his needs. Gregory was upset at first, but he knew Freddy wouldn't want him to blame her. Gregory sighs. He had a reason to come back here. A reason he had come to regret after all these years.
"I should have listened to you, Freddy. You were right, there was something wrong with your friends. I was too scared and upset to listen." He said, walking up to the doors.
He opens them and steps into the old building. Gregory could remember seeing kids running around, looking amazed at the area and the giant gold statue of Freddy.
"Are you Greorgy?"
He turns and saw two lawyers walking up to him.
"I am. Do you have the paperwork?" He said.
"Ready to be signed." The Lawyer said, handing over a book.
"Are you sure about this? It was closed down for a reason." The other asked.
"Yes. I made a promise to an old friend of mine." Gregory said, sighing the papers.
The Lawyers sigh before taking back the papers. They soon left, leaving Gregory alone.
"There's much to do, Freddy. But first I need to repair your friends." He said, heading deeper into the pizza plex.
5 hours later,
Gregory whips his forehead. After so many hours, he found the remains of Chica, Roxy, and Monty. He repaired them and made sure they were free of any coding that would make them attack him. He also rebuilds Freddy's body, wanting the four to be reunited.
"Time to wake you up." He said, walking up to each robot and turned them on.
Gregory stood back before each Glammrock turned on.
"Oh...my head," Chica said, trying to stop the pounding.
"Augh, I feel so out of place," Roxy said, trying to move her joints.
"Anyone knows what time it is?" Monty asked, shaking his head.
"I'm afraid the Pizza Pleax, shut down years ago."
Chica, Roxy, and Monty all look up, seeing a strange man in the room with him.
"Um, who are you?" Monty asked.
"Funny you ask. I rebuild you all after I destroy you as a kid." Gregory said.
"Destroy us?" Roxy asked, confused.
Gregory turned to Freddy, who looked just as confused.
"Hello, Freddy. Sorry, it took so long." He said.
"It can't be...Gregory?" Freddy asked, surprised.
"Wait, Gregory? The boy we were tasked into finding?" Chica asked.
"As you can see Chica, I'm not a boy anymore," Gregory said, smiling.
"Now I remember! You hit me with a kart and took my eyes!" Roxy shouted, only to notice she still had her eyes.
"My eyes? How?" She asked.
"I return all your upgrades after Freddy shut down 5 years ago. It's how Chica can talk again and how Monty could feel his hands." Gregory said.
"By why?" Monty asked.
"Because I regret what I did to you. Freddy tried to tell me something was wrong with the three of you, but I thought you were monsters trying to kill me. Now, after so many years, I brought you all back to make up for my actions. And to say, I'm sorry." Gregory said.
"Superstar..." Freddy said, surprised to hear that.
Chica walks up and hugs the young man. Gregory flinches, still recalling the nightmares he would sometimes get when he was younger. Taking a breath, he hug Chica back, knowing she wasn't going to hurt him.
"I forgive you. We weren't ourselves." She said, letting go.
"I know that now. I'm still sorry about it." Gregory said, smiling a little.
"I don't mean to break up the moment, but don't we have to get ready for a show?" Roxy asked.
"OH! That's right!" Chica said, catching on to what Roxy was saying.
"Guys, there is no show," Gregory said, stopping them.
"What do you mean?" Monty asked.
"The Pizza Plex has been close down for 10 years." He said.
"10 YEARS?!" They shouted.
"How?" Chica asked.
Gregory turns to Freddy, who nodded.
"It's a long tale," Gregory said, knowing he had to go back into the nightmare again.
2 hours later,
Chica, Roxy, and Monty all looked shocked at what they heard. To think they were being controlled by something that defies all possible things.
"It was only a few years later that I learned the name of that thing and who he was before," Gregory said, sighing.
"It has gone under many names, but it was once the first and original Bonnie." He said.
"Bonnie?" Chica asked, surprised by the name.
"Yeah, even worst, the name of the man that was behind everything, made the first Fredbear too. Willaim Afton." Gregory said, frowning.
"Afton? I heard that name somewhere." Roxy said.
"Yeah, the man that was behind the children's kidnapping during the early '80s. It seems that his spirit kept living after his death, still doing what he normally did when he was alive. He's my great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather from my uncle's side." Gregory said, not believing he was related to murder.
"Gregory?" Freddy asked.
"But I'm not Willaim. I won't let my family decide our fate anymore. This curse started with him and I'm going to end it." Gregory said.
"And how will you do that?" Monty asked.
"Not sure yet. But I do know one thing. I'm not going to become him. That is a promise to all the kids he killed over the years." Gregory said.
"You sure have changed, Superstar," Freddy said.
"I know. But I'm not going to be any different than the kid you help raise." Gregory smiles.
"Well then, RaceStar, what can we do?" Roxy asked, liking this kid's energy.
"First, I'm going to get the Pizza Plex fixed up and reopen it. After that, I'm removing all trances of my family's name. I get the feeling that some of those children haven't moved on because of that." Gregory said.
"If you're sure," Chica said.
"I won't mind your help getting things ready," Gregory said.
"Kid, after everything we put you through, we'll be more than glad to help," Monty said.
Chica nods as well. She wanted to make everything up to him. Roxy, on the other hand, notices something off about Gregory. He mentions removing all trances of his family name. Something told her that also meant himself. She looks at Freddy, who had the same thought as her. They both looked at each other, silently agreeing to change Gregory's mind when the time was right.
And look at this, A FANF story! This time with Security Breach! Taking place long after the game. I know about the DLC, but I have yet to hear anything about it. Not even a playthrough. Does anyone know why? I might add some events if I think it's fine. Though, I'm still not a big FANF fan, due to horror not being my thing.
So, Gregory returned to the Pizza Plex, and rebuild the Glamrock Gang, without the program that made Chica, Roxy, and Monty dangerous. Gregory also learned a few things about himself and his family. He had decided that it was time to end the Afton Curse once and for all. So what happens next? We'll see in the next chapter.
