All things unexplained will have an explanation later.
Within a lab on an isolated planet at the furthest edge of a galaxy, a scientist worked tirelessly on his creation. While studying the universe he happened to uncover the existence of two others while observing the effects of Fragmentum corrosion on the greater universe. He witnessed powerful beings being taken from their home and fighting valiantly for their freedom, their bodies made not of flesh, but of Magic. His son had died many years ago to an incurable illness, but he thought perhaps with the help of these beings he could get back what he lost. Which brings us to his machine, it was large and bulky, with tubes reaching into fragmented rifts in reality from a large metal orb, which sat suspended, yet attached to a glass tube filled with liquid, with a calming blue light illuminating the liquid from behind. One of the tubes linked to the machine lead to a device with a syringe-like spike on its console.
As he was about to turn the machine on to start the test the metal door to his lab was busted down, revealing a woman with long red-whine colored hair and pink eyes, wielding a pair of Uzi's pointed right at him. The woman wore an overcoat with a silver spiderweb design on the shoulders worn off her shoulders and a white shirt with a similar pattern on the shoulder and sleeves that was tucked into what appears to be a corset-shorts hybrid with straps from the shorts hugging her thighs, red wine colored gloves with a spider web pattern on the wrist, thigh highs and High-heeled boots with an uneven cuff, her left boot goes all the way up to her thigh while her right boot only goes up a bit above her ankle.
"I'm sorry Dr. Fuji, however you living to see your hard work pay off is not in the script." The woman said, in an ominous tone before unloading her guns into the man's chest.
Kafka put her guns away and moved the man's body out of the way before activating the machine.
"[PLEASE PLACE HAND OR DNA SAMPLE ON THE SAMPLING CONSOLE]" The machine requested in a mechanical voice, Kafka walked over to the console in question and removed a glove from her hand and placed it on the console, where a needle quickly yet delicately inserted itself, drawing a blood sample before mechanical arms cleaned and bandaged the wound.
"How convenient." Kafka noted observing the machine's work before putting her glove back on. Watching her blood get shot into the tube, floating in a crimson cloud, reminding her of a nebula.
"[INITIATING NON-INVASIVE MAGICAL SAMPLING FROM VALKRYAD SUBJECTS…]" The machine droned out. The tubes began glowing, blue, semi-transparent cubes began entering the tube, coalescing with the blood and forming a humanoid shape, which glowed as it took shape. As this was happening Kafka looked around the lab and found a locker containing a few sets of child's clothes, along with some food.
"This guy was well prepared for this day, quite convenient since the script says that I'll have to be the one to raise her." Kafka thought as she organized the stuff into a bag. Not too long after she heard a ding and rushing water, she looked over to see the glass slowly lowering, releasing the water into grates surrounding it on the floor, revealing a small gray haired child wearing a long, fancy black skirt with a red wine spider web pattern on it and a white long sleeved shirt with silver a spider web pattern on the shoulders sitting at the center, looking around with bright, innocent golden eyes, seeing the world for the first time, appearing somewhat dazed and confused. Kafka approached with a sweet smile, patting the girl on the head as she crouched down to meet her at eye-level. The child stared intently at kafka's face, taking in every detail.
"Hey there sweetie, welcome to the universe! I'm your mother." Kafka greeted gently, the girl's eyes widened as she altered her posture to a more attentive one.
"Mo… ther… Mo-ther. Mother!" The girl repeated slowly at first before excitedly repeating it.
"That's right, good job! Now then, what should I call you…?" Kafka wondered, putting a hand on her chin, the girl waited eagerly for a name to be given.
"How about… Stelle?" Kafka offered, Stelle beamed with joy, nodding excitedly as she repeated the name.
"I'm glad you like it! Now then, I have something I need to get before we leave. Would you like me to carry you while I look around?" Kafka asked, Stelle nodded and began trying to climb down from the machine, Kafka picked her up, letting Stelle use one of her arms as a chair as she held onto Kafka's shoulders. Kafka stood up and began looking around the office, using her free hand to search drawers and filing cabinets before she found what she was looking for.
"Valkryad biology and theoretical hybrid biology... just what I need." Kafka smiled, grabbing the book of notes and putting it in her bag. Kafka crouched down, carefully slung the bag over her shoulder and started to make her way towards the exit.
"Why do you need those bio… Biolo…" Stelle started to ask before getting caught up in her struggle with the word.
"I need those biology notes so that your doctor and I know how best to care for you. You're a rather unique being in this universe after all, but enough of that for now. There's plenty of time to teach you that stuff later." Kafka explained as the pair exited the lab.
I hope you all enjoyed this chapter, and I hope you all enjoy what I have in mind for this story, along with all the lore.
