Now in the deep blanket that was space, Katie looked back at the crew of penguins that had pulled her on board (against her will). "Alright men. What's to say that we brief our new cadet." The first penguin said. Katie remebered that Jason and Michelle had told her the names of the Penguins, but she didn't remember which one was which.
'What were their names again...Gidgel, Smidgel, Pidgel?' She thought. "Now Listen up. I am Captain Zidgel. This is Dr Fidgel, Pilot and Engineer Midgel, and uh...that's Kevin." Zidgel explained, introducing his crew. Katie just nodded, still not believing that this was happening, However, she did still want to know what the mission was. The sooner it was over, the sooner she could go home.
"Ok...Well, What exactly is the mission?" she asked, hoping to get an answer from one of them. "Well, We've received a distress call from the village of KowaiHito from Planet Frightmare. There entire planet is under attack from something, and we've been instructed to find out what it is and stop it." Fidgel explained, pointing to a map above showing the planet being shrouded in darkness.
Katie didn't like the name of the planet, nor the fact that it was being attacked by something. "Planet...(GULP) Frightmare?..." she trembled, on the verge of fainting again. "Yep. The thing is, its a pacifist planet, and none of the people have ever fought each other in centuries." Midgel replied, still steering the ship.
This confused the girl. If this planet didn't have any fights, what was it being attacked by. "So...You guys don't know what its being attacked by either?" she asked. Zidgel hesitated "We...can't say. There wasn't any additional information other than HELP US HELP US!" the captian said. "Alright...How long until we get to Planet Frightmare?" Katie asked, still worried about what could possibly happen.
"It could be a while, Space travel can take Hours, Days, Months and...more days. We could be out here for-" Zidgel was cut off by Midgel announcing "Coming up on Planet Frightmare." Zidgel shut his beak as Katie gave a silent snort. However, all humor in her died when she saw their location: A small pink planet, surrounded in a strange purple darkness...and a large black something flying around the entire surface of the planet
Katie paled and her jaw dropped as all fear returned to her body.
"THAT'S Planet Frightmare?!"
