Author's Note: Quick warning, drinking, spiking drinks and morning regrets ahead
POV ADA MARROW
The fight I had with a Ominis had passed, I didn't linger on it. All I was worried about was figuring out a way to keep him alive, something that was proving difficult to do. The only known weakness of a Basilisk was the crow of a Rooster, Acromantulas were terrified of Basilisks and I feared for whoever got the fire breathing Chimera.
Sebastian wasn't kidding when he said these trials were a Death Sentence. Even as I walked with the two to the Quidditch stands, the fog rolling over us and the crowds of supporters for the Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors, I couldn't help but feel worried. My nerves were getting the better of me, my eyes glanced at Ominis, I led him with a hand on his arm. Both Sebastian and him were speaking about the game, the next game would face Slytherin and Sebastian was filling in for a Beater.
"Come on Marrow you got to smile a bit! Watching Victor Bratly play is always a treat." Sebastian commented as he glanced down at me.
"Oh, why is that?" I commented, brow raised as his arm rested over my shoulders. I had become lax with my rules, letting him touch me again and even flirt every once in a while.
"Because he's a daredevil and loves to show off!"
"Yes too bad I can't revel in his stupidity." Ominis stated, "He's going to get himself killed."
"Oh surely he doesn't do anything too dangerous?" I asked and Sebastian laughed.
"Oh you'll see, he loves to put on a show. They'll sell enchanted binoculars, I can buy you a pair if you wish?" Sebastian offered.
"No, no I can buy my own thank you very much." The air felt thick with moisture as I took in a deep breath. I had some face paint over my cheeks to support the team of Gold, I didn't have much else to show support. Surprisingly out of all the scarves I had I didn't have a single yellow one. We entered into one of the back door towers that was labeled with a badger marking. Upon entering off to the side I saw the Hufflepuff Quidditch team and a familiar mop of Honey Golden hair coming right our way.
"Ada!"
"Oh Victor! Nice seeing you before the game." I smiled up at him.
"Wouldn't mind if I borrow her for a second gents?" His goggles had his hair pulled back and he was in his Seeker Uniform, padding and all. It was rather nice not seeing him look so... Prefect like.
"Oh they won't mind." I walked off with him a bit off to the side, I could see the two boys glaring daggers at Victor, then my attention was brought back to him.
"With my good luck charm here now, I know we can win!" He grinned down at me.
"Oh I don't think I'm good luck charm material."
"Nonsense! Do you not have a scarf? You can take mine if you want."
"Oh no I couldn't-"
"I insist!" He took off the plaid yellow and brown scarf and started wrapping it around my neck. My face heated up a bit,
"Thank you, I'll be sure to return this after the game."
"Don't want you to get cold." He nudged me a bit and winked, "I'll see you after the game." Victor was entirely unaware of Sebastian getting riled up.
"Of course! Bye Victor good luck!" I gave him a friendly smile then started heading back to the two. Victor's scarf smelled like wood polish and Cedar. It was pleasant, Sebastian looked at the scarf around my neck, brow raised.
"Victor gave you the scarf right off his neck." He stated coolly.
"I'm giving it back to him after the game."
"You know if I had realized he had a crush on you I would have suggested we skip the game." Sebastian's arm rested back over my shoulders.
"Oh he doesn't have a crush on me." I nudge him and hold onto Ominis arm again.
"If he doesn't have a crush on you then I'm not blind." Ominis barked out a laugh, both had moved closer to me now urging me up the stairs to be sure Victor didn't try to make a pass at me.
"He's just being nice."
"Too nice." Sebastian iterated, giving me a pointed look as we got out onto the stands and took a seat. I was almost sandwiched between the two on the benches, then I saw Sebastian wave down a House Elf carrying a box of items.
"Two Binoculars please." The House elf nodded and pulled two of the items out,
"Ten Knut Sir."
Sebastian started to pay while Ominis had a firm grip on my hands to keep me from paying. I glared at my blind friend as he just sat there and grinned.
"Oh sorry Ada, you're not paying for a thing today. Not after that run in with Hufflepuffs Seeker." Ominis joked softly with me while Sebastian paid for some extra things the House Elf had. Including mittens for myself which I had forgotten. Being up here now it felt like flying on an icy day with the wind blowing lightly over us.
"You're both impossible I swear." I saw a group of Hufflepuff girls down front holding out a large banner, adjusting it so it hung over the edge of the stands. 'VICTOR' painted across it. Didn't realize he was this popular among the girls. Sebastian handed me the mittens and I slid them on then passed the two of them their metal flasks filled with hot chocolate that I had gathered before going out with them.
"OH Sweet Ada taking care of us." Sebastian teased, opening the flask to smell the hot chocolate.
"It's only going to get colder." I murmured, "Thought some hot drinks would be nice." Sebastian handed me a set of binoculars. Smiling to him then looking back out at the Quidditch pitch as the voice I recognized as Lucan Brattleby sounded out.
"Welcome everyone to the first Quidditch Match of the season! I'm Lucan Brattleby and I would like to thank Madame Kogawa and Victor Bratly for being the reason we have Quidditch this year! Without their team effort to reinstate it we would have another boring year ahead for the poor Quidditch players!" I could see Lucan standing in a Teachers box with Madame Kogawa as he read off a script of some kind. He had his wand to his throat while he spoke.
"For the first team! Team Gryffindor! Led by their Captain Rowen Adder! They got the Daring to take the risks to win," The Gryffindor team flew out around the pitch in formation, Rowen their captain pumping his arm in the air as they flew around, the Hufflepuff stands booed as he passed them. As did Sebastian who stood up and booed at them along with the Hufflepuffs.
"But will it be enough! They'll need more the Daring when the Hufflepuffs have Victor Bratly on the team, he's won them multiple games and house cups! Please welcome the Hufflepuffs and their Captain Allisia Mortum!" The people around us cheered as the Hufflepuffs came out, They all waved to their supporters while Victor raced out of formation. Waving and cheering with his fellow Hufflepuffs while he hung by his knees on his broom!
"Dear God he is insane." I laughed, watching him hang there. Blowing a kiss out into the stand towards me, the girls ahead of us went insane screaming for him. I watched as he free fell off his broom then summoned it to him, doing a quick swing over back onto it racing off into position with the rest of his team. It was hard to believe he was prefect when he acted like that.
"I told you." Ominis murmured to me, then yawned softly.
"Still tired?" I asked
"I've been trying to do some catch up on my school work last night"
"If you're tired you can lean on me and take a nap." I offered, I could see Sebastian grinning at us in the corner of my eye.
"Not if you'll be smelling like Broom Polish." He murmured.
"I can fix that!" Sebastian grinned at me, taking his own scarf off.
"No you'll get cold!" I insisted.
"Please Ada, I'm quite hot-blooded." My face heated up and he could help but laugh softly at me as he got rid of Victor's scarf and replaced it with his own. It smelled like musty pages of old books. I quite liked it. It reminded me so much of Sebastian. Then I felt Ominis now leaned against me, his head resting on my shoulder. I took his hands and held them in my lap while he rested his eyes. Not like he could watch the match anyway. May as well take this time to rest up. I watched Sebastian fold the scarf up and set it in his lap. Taking a sip of the hot drink from his flask. I raised my binoculars up to watch the game. Seeing both Rowen and Victor staying in place as the rest of the teams went onward scoring points with the Quaffles.
"They're looking for the Snitch." Sebastian said, looking through his own pair.
"I'm aware." I murmured, "Oh there it is!" I spotted it before they could, it glimmered in the fog.
"What where?" Sebastian asked.
"In the fog! It's glimmering!"
"How did you spot it, that quickly?"
"When you treasure hunt you get good at spotting the smallest of things." I murmured to him then smiled, he looked down at me smiling back but he rolled his eyes and went to watch the game. I heard a soft snore as Ominis had seemingly fallen asleep against my shoulder. I had tuned out Lucan's commentary for a bit, setting down the binoculars onto my lap as I started to drink from my own flask.
The game was intense, so much for friendly matches. No one was taking the games lightly; they had missed a full year and were getting their fix. Players flew by sending gushes of wind our way and I saw someone almost crash into another stand. Flying back off into the pitch. Both teams seemed evenly matched, Hufflepuff only in the slightest lead ahead of Gryffindor.
"Ada! Victors caught sight of the snitch!" Sebastian called out. I raised up the binoculars to watch as Victor and Rowen shoulder to shoulder were racing after the snitch until it redirected over head of both of them. Victor reared up, managing to fly upside down on his broom after it, then quickly jerking himself back into a right side position while Rowen had to do a serious sharp turn in order to redirect himself.
I saw Victor start to rest his feet onto his broom balancing on it, the Hufflepuff girls ahead of us were screaming for him. I may as well have been screaming myself, Sebastian was right watching Victor perform was a treat and rather exciting! I did feel bad as I had accidentally awoken Ominis as he sat up looking around rather shocked. Then I caught sight of Rowen catching up, knocking into the back of Victor's broom as he fell off but managed to catch himself quickly trying to pull himself back onto it. I cried out, standing up binoculars pressed to my face, Rowen now in the lead to catch the snitch.
"Go! Go! GO! YOU CAN DO IT!" I called out to Victor. I watched as Victor raised up high into the sky at high speeds through the fog and gusts of wind. His Quidditch robes flailed about behind him, then dived down towards Rowen and the snitch! Sebastian was standing with me, also excited to see what the outcome would be.
We saw Victor launch himself off his broom, diving down head first in the air. Snatching the snitch right from under Rowens' nose then free falling down to the ground. At the last minute his broom swept under him pulling him back up right before he hit the ground. The crowds were silent, waiting in anticipation as Victor showed the Snitch off.
"Victors' caught the snitch! HUFFLEPUFF WINS!" The crowds cheering for the Hufflepuffs cheered for the victory, my nerves on edge as I hugged Sebastian excitedly then kissed him. I left him bewildered, eyes wide as I clapped and cheered when Victor came flying by showing the snitch off.
POV SEBASTIAN SALLOW
I touched my lips, being reminded of that burning tingle I had long forgotten. She had acted like the kiss was normal, like she kisses me all the time but it had been so long since she'd kiss me. She glanced at me, her face reddening in embarrassment as she pulled out her handkerchief and started cleaning my lips off.
"I'm sorry I got some lip stain on you." She murmured. I was still bewildered, still surprised and to be honest I loved it when she acted so excitedly.
"When did you start wearing lipstick?" I asked, trying to play it all off nonchalantly.
"Poppy gifted it to me, thought I'd start wearing it this year." She murmured, how had I not noticed the slight reddish tint on her lips. Her's was usually a soft pink color, perhaps attempting to be a gentleman for once made me not see the slightest differences in her.
"Come on you two! Poppy said there'd be a party in the Hufflepuff Common Room if we won!" Ominis got up stretching himself out as we followed the waves of Gold Regalia out of the booths and back down towards the school entrance. Everyone cheered excitedly as I saw the Hufflepuff Quidditch team being surrounded or carried off by their incredibly happy peers. Victor sitting on the shoulders of two of his other teammates. His hair wild and goggles long gone as he sang a winning song with his teammates.
The Parade of Gold went all the way down, crowding into the narrow corridor as we passed the kitchens and I saw Seventh Years coming out of the Kitchen doors with crates of House Elf Wine. At some point Ominis and I lost Ada in the crowd of Hufflepuffs. Even as we were filtered into their Common Room and people started up the music letting it blare out into the Common room. I wasn't too worried, I'd spot her eventually.
POV ADA MARROW
I had been separated from my boys in Green by the Seventh Years. They were offering cups of House Elf wine at the tables to those they deemed old enough meaning no one below their Fifth year and I had witnessed a quidditch player snatch up a bottle running over to Victor to have him stand on the smaller staircase leading to the boys dorms.
"To Victor! You'll be missed by the end of this year and we will never have a better seeker! You know the rules! Drink up!"
Victor grinned to the cheering crowds of people, biting off the cork out of the bottle as he started to down the contents. I watched the bottle go from full to empty in only a minute. His teammates cheered as he down the entire bottle of wine. He lurched forward coughing after he took down that last gulp of wine. His teammates showed off the empty bottle and cheered for him.
I was both horrified and impressed by how quickly he went through it. I saw the girls from before going up to flirt with him, it may have been impressive but I could see how much of a lightweight poor Victor was. His face, already turning a healthy pink.
I started to turn, hoping to see green in the gold but realized there were actually quite a few other Slytherins here talking with Hufflepuffs and others from the houses including those from the Gryffindor Quidditch team who came to show their good spirited nature. More students were piling in by the second, soon the entire lower floor was covered with people and girls talked in the upper floor about the game with each other.
I sipped at my drink, though soon I found myself finishing it noticing the unlikely pairs I saw cuddling and making out on the couches and flirting near the fireplace. Then there was a hand on my shoulder, Victor had another bottle in hand.
"Hey Ada, it's getting a bit crowded here, do you want to ditch? I kinda want to watch the stars." His sweet smile and glimmer in his eye made me smile at the rim of my cup. He was still seemingly on an adrenalin high and the wine was making me feel fuzzy.
"I suppose it couldn't hurt." It was getting crowded and I was starting to doubt that Sebastian and Ominis stuck around.
"Awesome, let's go!" He grabbed my hand and started leading me through the large crowds of people out of the Hufflepuff Common room where I saw people celebrating in small groups out in the hall. As Victor led me up the stairs towards the Astronomy tower.
POV SEBASTIAN SALLOW
Both Ominis and I chose not to partake in the binge drinking. Merely talking with other people from other houses off in a corner that we had gotten pushed to near the boys rooms. I was still trying to keep an eye out for Ada but Hufflepuff seemed to have quite a few brown haired girls. I was starting to worry, so I leaned to Ominis.
"I'm starting to worry about Ada. I haven't seen her."
"Do you want to go look? I'm thinking of getting out of here, it's much too loud and crowded for my tastes."
"Come with me while I ask around and I'll lead you to the exit." I started, hand resting on Ominis back as I pushed us through the sea of people. I stopped a few times asking Poppy, Author, Adelaide and even a few people at the entrance. When finally we ran into Imelda who was looking rather puzzled.
"Imelda have you seen Ada? We can't find her anywhere."
"Yes well I saw her getting dragged off to God knows where by Victor Bratly. He seemed in a hurry, wouldn't even let her stop to say hi to me." Imelda pursed her lips as my shoulders straightened and eyes narrowed.
"Did you see where they were headed?"
"No, just rushed up the staircase." She was rather annoyed, then looked a bit worried at our faces, "Why is something wrong?"
"No, just that there's a lot of drinking going on at the party and I saw Bratly down an entire wine bottle earlier. I don't really trust him around her when he's drunk that much." Imelda frowned, biting her lip.
"Oh I knew I should have stopped them, I saw him carrying a wine bottle too." She murmured, despite her foul personality she did like Ada.
"It's not your fault Imelda. We'll find her." Ominis stated, "Sebastian and I will split up, you go ahead and just join the others for the party."
I saw her nod, lips pursing, "I overheard him say they just needed to go down the moving staircase towards our dungeons but I have no idea where he'd be taking her..." She admitted, starting to walk passed us.
"Thanks Imelda." I murmured, hurrying up with Ominis.
"I'll search the Dungeons you go on ahead to the Viaduct Entrance." I told him, "it's not curfew yet but be careful you don't get caught out too late."
"I'll be careful." Ominis stated, walking with me down the stairs and once we split off in the dungeons I went on my search.
POV ADA MARROW
I was already on my third cup of wine while I watched Victor fiddle with the old telescope located out on a platform overlooking the school. The sun was starting to set and it shined in his golden hair. Even with the fuzzy and heated feeling the wine was giving me, I couldn't see him being any more than my friend. He motioned me over to the telescope to look through it, the stars were starting to show and I leaned over to look through the scope, seeing the stars shine to life.
"You want a turn?" I could feel the wine hitting me a bit too hard now. Despite my better judgment I drank more while he took his turn again and finally after finishing what was I think my fifth cup. He stopped looking through the telescope and looked at me. His eyes were a bit heated and back straight.
"What's wrong?" I asked him.
"You're really beautiful Ada." he admitted, approaching me as I leaned back against the railing.
"That's nice of you to say." I chuckled a bit, trying to keep myself steady as I felt his hands rest on my hips.
"Very beautiful..."
POV OMINIS GAUNT
"Ada?!" I hissed out, I kept my wand raised, it had felt like hours and I was sure that it was nearing curfew. I had checked the Viaduct Entrance and the areas down the stairs and even the basement but nothing. Or at least she hadn't answered me and Sebastian had wandered off somewhere without telling me. I was starting back up the stairs thinking to try checking the Defence Against the Dark Arts wing when a familiar step sounded from the upper stairs. I hurried up.
"Ada?"
"Ominis!" I heard her squeal and felt arms wrap around my neck, her breath smelled of Elf Wine.
"Are you drunk?" I asked exasperated.
"Shhh, don't say that... it'll hurt my feelings." She whimpered, I felt her fingers play with my hair and how pressed up against me she was.
"Ada... Let's get you back to your room-"
"Let's go to yours!" She started pulling me by my neck as she stumbled backwards.
"Ada! Careful!" She let go on my neck and grabbed my hand pulling me along. I could hear her humming as I was starting to be dragged away, "Ada, we should get Sebastian."
"Oh he'll be fine!" She slurred a bit, her hand felt hot to the touch. "Besides, I want to spend some time with you..." She murmured, my brows furrowed.
"We can spend time together tomorrow Ada. it's probably way past curfew"
"Nope has to be tonight!" I suddenly felt her lead me into the dankness of the Slytherin Dungeons and quickly down the steps, "Aspirision... No... Aspire? No..." She murmured, I groaned, rubbing my face. I suppose her staying the night would be better than her wandering the halls on her own or us getting caught out past curfew.
"Ambition." I sighed letting the door reveal itself as Ada gasped in surprise then giggled in delight. She was quick to pull me down the steps and I could hear the conversation die down as others watched me get dragged to my room by the drunk girl. There was going to be a scandal tomorrow. I could already hear it.
My roommates whistled softly, "I think we can give you both some privacy for the night." One said.
"Nothing is going to happen, she's drunk and just staying the night." I growled at them
"Right and she doesn't have hickies on her neck."
"She has hickies on her neck?!" My voice raised to a surprised pitch, eyes widening. I heard the shuffling of clothes.
"We'll stay with the other boys, Ominis! Have fun!" I could hear them hurry out and slam the door.
"What? Ada... Ada just lay down on my bed and sleep, I'll untie the bed curtains and sleep in my chair."
POV ADA MARROW
I couldn't help how handsome he looked in the lamp light, my arms were back around his neck. Fingers stroking along his hair. I stopped him part way through untying the curtains from the bed posts.
"Mmm, No." I murmured.
"No?-" I cut him off lips pressing hard to his, I could almost feel him melt against me. Almost.
"Ada... Ada stop with the kissing your drunk." He murmured, I cut off the protests again with another kiss. Urging him back to the bed.
"I'm just a tiny bit..." I murmured against his lips, my nose nuzzled along his. He was resisting my directions to his bed.
"If I get in the bed with you will you sleep this off?" He sounded a bit breathy. I smiled and nodded but could help but kiss his lips again, "N-No more kisses Ada." He tried pushing me a bit back from him, his face was flush and his voice sounded so unsure. I giggled and started to crawl into the bed, taking his hand and urging him to join me. Once he had climbed into the bed I urged him down and cuddled up against him, my arms wrapping tight around his waist. He seemed to relax then, letting out a soft sigh.
I whined softly then, "Wish you weren't such a prude."
"Merlin's beard Ada, please just go to sleep." He sounded exasperated.
I felt defiant, I kissed his ear murmuring sweet words to him, words I really couldn't make out myself.
POV OMINIS GAUNT
"Please... I want to kiss you again." She murmured, I could feel her lips graze along my jaw . Her hand pressed on my chest as she tried to lean over to kiss me again.
"Ada... You're drunk. As much as I want to, I won't when you're like this." I kept my voice to a murmur, then felt her hand stroke along my neck, forcing me to face her as she kissed me again. Her kiss was intoxicating, I could taste the wine but there was something else mixed in. I could taste the silkiness of her tongue as she deepened our kiss and how it made my right of mind grow fuzzy and my body heated.
"I want to feel more of you." She whimpered softly, I felt her hands tug at my shirt, trying to unbutton it and when her hands felt over my bare chest. Her touch felt like sparks over my skin. I couldn't let this go on.
"I want to taste you..." She breathed against my lips, a hand sliding down over my chest, lower towards my stomach. My hands grabbed hers and I rolled her over onto her back, keeping her pinned.
"Enough!" I bit out, my breathing was ragged, "Not like this!" I felt her starting to shake and heard her start to sniffle. I let go of her as if her wrists burned, sitting back on my bed. Had I hurt her? I could hear her shift around, crying a bit louder, "Ada? Sweetheart, I'm sorry did I hurt you?" I adjusted sitting with her now on my bed as I pulled her to me to hold her.
"N-No..." She murmured, I felt her lean into me, "Please promise... If you get the Basilisk you'll use your gift." Her hands held tight to my shirt, the request had taken me aback. "Please... Magic doesn't work on their scales." She whimpered, I laid us both back on the bed rubbing along her back.
"I... I promise." I felt her face bury itself into my chest, then heard her soft little snores fill the room.
POV SEBASTIAN SALLOW
"Are you insane?!" I yelled out over the common room.
"It was just a tiny bit of Mandragora Essence, just wanted to liven the party up just a bit." Nox admitted, he jerked his head back towards the boy dorms, "You may want to hurry, my sister was practically dragging Gaunt to his room." I was already hurrying past him up the steps. I pushed the door open, looking around at the empty room. My eyes landed on Ominis bed, him and Ada laying in it. Ada was fast asleep and Ominis was staring up at the ceiling.
I walked over, hand resting on the bed post, "Ominis what the fuck happened?" I questioned, taking in the sight of him practically covered in Adas' lipstain and his shirt ruffled and unbuttoned. His lips smeared a slight pink. Ada was out like a light.
"Nothing happened, thankfully. Though I think someone spiked her drink..." He admitted.
"That would be Noxs' doing he spiked some bottles with an aphrodisiac." I sighed sitting down with him.
"That explains quite a bit. I'm banning her from drinking wine. She's emotionally volatile." His voice sounded dry, rather unphased by the whole ordeal. He yawned and I saw his hands rub at his face. I got up, starting to finish untying his bed curtains.
"Just sleep, we can sneak her out in the morning." I stated, covering the two of them from sight.
"Thank you Sebastian." I heard him murmur.
"Don't mention it." I murmured back, turning to get ready for bed. It was for the best that he found her like that. I don't think I could have controlled myself, I just wish i didn't feel that hint of jealousy in the back of my mind. Wishing it was me holding her in that bed.
POV ADA MARROW
I couldn't help but feel a pounding in my skull as I laid on something hard and unforgiving. A groan slipped from my lips as I started to sit up, my eyes scanned over the darkened area until they adjusted on the body under me.
Ominis laid back on the bed, still fully clothed his arm resting over his eyes as he slept soundly. I could see the lip marks covering his neck, face and lips. I sat up ramrod straight in the bed, hands feeling over my uniform, seeing not one bit of clothing was out of place, not even my house robes. I sucked in a shaky breath and slowly leaned over him, to peek out of the closed curtains. I could see Sebastian sleeping soundly across the way and another boy buttoning up his shirt as he got ready for the morning. The boy's back was to me and I slowly moved the curtain back into place. I could not believe I was in the boys' dorms, sleeping in Ominis bed. What happened last night? I heard Ominis groan softly,
"It's too early..." He murmured, his arms moving off his eyes. I could hear a boy chuckle moving closer to the bed.
"Sorry Ominis, did I wake you? Bet you had a lot of fun last night."
"Sod off Jameson." Ominis growled out, turning towards me on the bed as his hand felt over the area I had been sleeping before. Jameson laughed softly, I could hear him walking from the bed shuffling with some things then heard him leave the room. I leaned down, touching his face,
"Ominis, how did I get here?" His face turned towards me as he laid back down on his back.
"Sebastian and I went looking for you last night and I found you wandering around the Viaduct Entrance past curfew." He murmured, "You dragged me off here and I figured you staying the night would be better than you getting caught drunk off your ass by a teacher." I saw his hands rub over his face, I covered my mouth with my hand seeing the stain had in fact done its job and stained his poor pale face.
"Oh Merlin, you're covered in lipstain." I watched horrified, "Did we? Did I?"
"The most we did last night was kiss Ada, I mean you really wanted to do more." I covered my face groaning softly, I felt my face heat up. I couldn't remember a thing and I was thoroughly embarrassed by the actions he had stated.
"You also have a filthy mouth when you're drunk." He teased and I gasped smacking his chest.
"I do not shut up!" My hand went to my mouth, realizing how loud I had been and I heard him laugh.
"Do you not remember last night?" He asked, I bit my lip trying to remember the events leading up to this.
"I remember going off with Victor to watch the stars in the Astronomy tower." I murmured, "I... I must have gotten drunk... I can't remember anything else."
"Well let's hope the most you two did was him sucking at your neck." Ominis drew out, rather coolly.
"What do you mean?"
"One of my roommates last night said you had a hickey." I gasped, hand going to my throat to feel it over, then there it was a tender spot. It was the only tender spot. Then the curtains opened slightly, Sebastian's head peeking in.
"You're both very loud." he murmured, his face said as clear as day as he was half asleep.
"Oh nooo." I whined, hands covering my face again.
"You act like you both did something indecent last night." Sebastian started to crawl onto the bed with us, sitting down beside me.
"He's covered in lip stain marks!" I motioned to Ominis.
"And I shall wear them with honor." Ominis chafed at me, he was just grinning ear to ear.
"Now see that's not fair, I should get a few as well." I saw Sebastian lightly tap a finger on his freckled cheek, "Right here Love."
"You're both awful." I groaned, then I felt a hand rest on my thigh.
"Relax Ada, it's not that bad-"
"It's not that bad? It's scandalous! Fuck only knows who saw me drag him to his room and who noticed me not leave!"
"Quite a few people saw you drag me off here." Ominis stated, arms crossing under his head.
"Nooo."
"And our roommates are well aware you didn't leave." Ominis added again, Sebastian shifted laying on his side on the foot of the bed.
"Not that it matters, everyone knows we're vying for your attention." Sebastian hummed, watching me with such an amused glint in his eye.
"Everyone still saw Bratly drag her off last night."
"Yes we will have to alleviate that." Sebastian murmured, "I'll have a talk with Victor."
"Please, if I don't remember a thing he probably doesn't either. He downed that entire bottle of wine." I murmured, I couldn't help but feel shame bubble up in me.
"Knowing Bratly if he did remember he'd feel awful for what he did." Ominis spoke up again.
"Probably looking for her right now." Sebastian added, looking at me he leaned in and murmured, "Do you hurt at all?" His voice was low.
"N-No, I feel completely fine besides the headache."
"I think it's safe to assume that all that happened between the two of you was a bit of neck sucking." Sebastian still smiled at me, hand moving from my thigh to hold my hand, "Don't look so ashamed, it wasn't your fault. Your brother pulled a prank last night and spiked some of the bottles of wine with an aphrodisiac." I squeezed his hand, his voice was reassuring and soft.
"I'm going to kill him." I stated, anger was bubbling up in the pit of my stomach or perhaps it was the feeling of hunger as my stomach growled.
"Well kill him after you've eaten something... I'm going back to bed." Ominis murmured, shifting the curl up on his bed.
Sebastian snorted, "Come on, I'll escort you back to your Common Room." He started to slide off the bed. I followed after and looked away as he started to get dressed. I glanced around, seeing that their other roommates was still fast asleep, pillows covering his head. There was a bit of a walk of shame through the Slytherin Common Area. As some people stared at us. Sebastian gave them a healthy glare to keep their mouths shut.
It was still very early in the morning, the halls empty with only a few people making their way to the Library. It wasn't a long walk to the stairs leading down to my Common Room entrance. I faced Sebastian and I could see a bit of jealousy painting over his features. He was doing his best to not cause any issues between us. I leaned up and kissed his cheek softly murmuring,
"Thank you Sebastian for not being angry at me." His face softened at my words, brows relaxing as his hands held onto mine.
"I will never direct my anger towards you again Ada. I can not and will not be angry at you for something that isn't your fault. Even if I did in the past, I will not now." He murmured then leaned down again to give me a chaste kiss on the lips.
