Diary entry based on Adventures In Odyssey Episode #335, Love is in the Air Part

Dear Diary,

I came across an old picture of Jason and myself the other day, and it brought back a flood of memories. One of the memories it brought back was about the time everyone thought that I was in love with him, which was quite an embarrassing adventure. However, it taught me a valuable lesson that has helped me get out of a slump. I learned to seek God even in times of boredom, and it has proved to be a core lesson for me. Looking back at that incident, I can see that Jason has always been like a big brother to me. It happened at Whit's End, where we were both working. Eugene, one of our coworkers came in, and we noticed something different about him. He had shaved off his mustache, and we soon found out that it was because Katrina Shanks was returning to Odyssey. Katrina had become a Christian prior to Eugene, and he had grown a mustache to help him grieve after she returned to Chicago with her father Armatige Shanks. Jason joked that "love was in the air" just before Tasha entered the room. I was initially jealous of Tasha's professional look, and I didn't like that Jason and Tasha had worked together. I had a small crush on Jason before but thought I was over it. Eugene thought I was jealous, and we argued about it. Reflecting on that time, I realize it was a turning point for me. I learned to trust in God and not let my emotions control me. It's important to seek God's guidance in all areas of our lives, especially when we're feeling lost or uncertain. I'm grateful for that experience, and I'm thankful for the people who were there to support me, especially Jack Allen. It's amazing how a simple photograph can trigger so many memories and emotions. I'm glad that I stumbled upon it because it reminded me of how far I've come and how much I've grown since then. Life is full of ups and downs, but with God's help, we can navigate through them and come out stronger on the other side. Well, I have to cut this short as Eugene is coming my way. More to come soon.

Connie.
