"Naruto! Stop it already!" Kakashi says to Naruto knowing how much pained Jiraiya's death affects the two who are close to him
"You knew him better than anyone that he will never let you do such a reckless action! Damn it, why can't you understand that he cannot see the woman he loved die while he cannot do anything to prevent it from happening! " He says before storming out of the room
'I know it all, but he is just as stubborn as you, Naruto!' Tsunade grimace while biting her lip to prevent her from breaking apart
'Dammit Naruto, the words you said have much more impact than I expected' Kakashi thought while looking at the gloomy and regretful expression Tsunade have
"I'll apologise for Naruto's behalf, Tsunade-sama and Fukasaku-sama" Kakashi apologised to the elders
"I understand Kakashi, about Naruto's anger. Receiving that kind of news after you failed to save your friend. Is just to much for him to take it" Tsunade answered understandingly where Naruto's feeling about losing someone who stood as a father-image to him and thinking the failure of saving of his friend
"Yeah, I know how much Jiraiya loves Naruto with all his heart, that's why before 'Pain' attacks us for the last time. He says his last favour to me, that I should guide Naruto in his place." Fukasaku inform, The two ninja just nod at understanding while hoping the best for Naruto

"HAHHHHHH!!" Naruto screamed while drilling the Rasengan into boulder that cause of destroying it
"Damn it! Why! Why Is it always like this! Why everything I hold precious is being stolen from me! And why I cannot do anything to prevent it from happening!" Naruto said angrily while continuously drilling Rasengan into the forest

"...Kyuubi" Naruto said while seeing the big sealed inside of him and the monster inside of it

" Feeling hopeless again? That's why I always said to you, undo the seal and I will give you the power you always dream off." Kyuubi said expecting that will tempt Naruto
"...I am not in the mood to play with you, Kyuubi" Naruto replied causing the Kyuubi to be amused
" But we're not playing or anything! I am being serious, Uzumaki Naruto." Kyuubi says playfully
"...I am not having this." Naruto said while cutting the connection between them, but before but he stopped
" What's the matter? Did you plan to leave?" Kyuubi says
"Say Kyuubi, Why don't we have a Contract?" Naruto propose
" Hmmm, A Contract that's interesting but coming from you makes it uninteresting." Kyuubi flatly replied causing Naruto to frown
"I am sure that this Contract will prove convenient for you in the future" Naruto replied making Kyuubi to be curious
" Let me hear it, then I will decide if that's worth it or not" Kyuubi answered
"Give me power and once I become hokage, You will no longer anyone's pet or tools" Naruto says causing Kyuubi to giggle into Full maniacally laugh
" As I thought! You are just like any Jinchuriki I have come, You all just want my power for your convenience then when you are done, You will treat me as a used toy and seal me again to another human! Do you think? I'm naive like you Brat!" Kyuubi Angrily said while atttempting to destroy the gates that seprate Naruto and the tailed beast
Unfortunately to the Kyuubi, Naruto still have his stoic expression and a gazing blue eyes that caused to Kyuubi to be shock
'What's with this brat! He's same as everyone but in the same time there's lingering feeling that he's not! This kid surely are unpredictable' Kyuubi thought
"...Why would anyone be interest in you aside from your power? Your a monster created by a huge amount of chakra and the strongest of all tailed beast. So tell me is there anything that another being can get interested in you?" Naruto retorted that caused to Kyuubi to be silenced
"Right? Kyuubi, Strongest of all Nine Beasts, Enlighten me with your knowledge and wisdom!" Naruto says with a creepy tone that caused the Kyuubi to shiver at Naruto's voice
" What's happening to you?" Kyuubi asked masking the ominous feeling coming from Naruto
"What is this? Kyuub is concern about me? How marvelous!" Naruto cherfully says causing the Kyuubi to frown that the feeling of ominous is growing everytime Naruto speak
"Anyway, I'll not force you to make a decision but that's your choice if you agree or not in our contract." Naruto says going back to his stoic expression
" ..."
"Kyuubi, If you will not speak then I take that as end of our conversation as it is." Naruto says before cutting the connection between them and leaving Kyuubi alone in his cage
" That kid, did he break? After his mentor died? The Naruto I saw a while ago is completely different from Naruto what I used to know." Kyuubi says flabbergasted of Naruto behaviour
" The presence of Naruto a previously ago is same with the presence of Uchiha Madara that I felt that night. The Man who controlled me to fight the god of shinobi, Senju Hashirama, leads to his doom. Is this a sign that Another War will soon bloom in this world? Foolish Humans." Kyuubi said before closing its eyes and completely unaware of the man looking at him with glee
"Found you, Kyuubi" The anonymous says before dissapearing

"So that's the story." Sakura finished while their friends cannot believe of what happened to Naruto's mentor
All their have sorrowful expression that explain the sympathy they have on Naruto
"Naruto, Where's Naruto? Sakura?" Shikamaru asked Sakura while being suspicious to her behaviour
"..I.. I don't know" Sakura weakly answered that cause Shikamaru to narrow
"So, The mentality of a friend that is always there for you is not important, Than the one who nearly killed Naruto when you meet him." Shikamaru confronted that cause Sakura to twitch
"It's not like that!" Sakura screamed at Shikamaru
"Well, That's look like to me and its common sense for a friend if they see their friend having a hard time and giving them a comfort they need to motivate them. But you? What kind of friend are you? Are you just using Naruto's naive and kind nature to manipulate him for your satisfaction?" Shikamaru asked while little by little increasing his voice that cause Sakura to feel more pressure
"Shikamaru,That's enough!" Ino ordered while Shikamaru stare at her before backing down and leaving but not before he says 'Women are surely annoying but Fangirls surely makes you forget your sanity about their behaviour'
"WHAT DID YOU SAY!!" Ino screamed feeling insulted at Shikamaru Remarks while being held by Choji
"Stop it, Ino just forget it! Did you never get used how he act?" Choji said to Ino
"Ahhh Mouuu, I don't care anymore just leave that bastard doesn't he know how girl fragile heart can be!" Ino replied while stomping her foot in to the ground

"Don't mind what he says! Sakura! I completely proud of you about the love you have for Sasuke. I am sorry for Naruto but he's just annoying and Immature completely opposite of Sasuke-kun!" Ino exclaimed comforting the silent Sakura
'Maybe, He is right. I unconsciously use Naruto and take advantage of his kindness!' Sakura thought while lowering her in shame.
"Sakura?" Ino asked worried about the behaviour of pink hair-girl
"...Ino, it's okay. I think I understand Shikamaru. He is the only one who seemly genuinely cared about Naruto's well-being."
"...Sakura…"
"Sorry, for the inconvenience Ino! But I think I can do it now."
"Okay, Just tell me if you need me!"
"Goodbye."
"Goodbye" Sakura says before turning around to leave
[Two Days Later]
*NARUTO'S APARTMENT*
"Naruto! Are you there?" A calm voice called to the boy inside.
"I just want to talk to you, can you come out for a moment?"

"What is it? Shikamaru?" A monotone voice answered him
'Damn, looks like it affected him so much!'
"Naruto, the matter we will talk about is something personal so, can I come inside?"
"...Yeah."
"So, Naruto. I will be blunt, Stop it. It pains me to know about your loss but Jiraiya-sama is amazing and he sacrificed himself for the benefit of his village and more importantly to protect you from the enemy and eventually it leads to his death but that doesn't matter to him because the only matter to him is your safety! Your well-being! And he will be hurt and saddened if he sees you right now!"
"Can you feel what I feel? Shikamaru? The loss of Sensei is something I didn't expect."
'Seriously, Seeing being serious is something I can get used to!'
"No, I-"
"You do not know it, Shikamaru."
"I am, I have grown to endure pain, Shikamaru. It doesn't matter whether it will be Psychological or Physical aspects. I always endure it to the end, Hoping that it will eventually end."
"But after I enrolled in the Academy. I met Sasuke, Sakura, And all of you, And learned the feeling of happiness."
"Although nothing lasts forever, after having my first love and first rejection by someone I admired is something that wakes me up from my dream."
"And I am not blind for not seeing how unfairness every instructor treated me. But I always make it seem like I am in the wrong to make them feel guilty or sympathy but It just makes them treat me harshly more than before."
"And after fighting Zabuza, that nearly killed Sasuke is something that make me feel hatred and intent to destroy."
"That battle gives us a lot of thing that we need to learn before we move forward to the real battle where there's no mercy but all intent to win."
"But after meeting Gaara, I feel sympathy between us. The look in his eyes, is something I can say we are the same. The eyes of someone living with the pain and force to carry their fears behind their back while they walked into the path of challenges."
"But after the confrontation with Orochimaru. Sasuke began to change into hungry-for-power bastard and he disregard us and do anything for any means to attain a higher level of power."
"And Kakashi teaches him, The CHIDORI. A unique technique that requires a sharp visual or a Sharingan to learn."
"And we began to fight because of behaviour and what makes me angry is, how he treated Sakura and trample all her kindness without recognizing it."
"And after Sasuke left the konoha for Orochimaru and after promising to Sakura that I will bring Sasuke to konoha. I followed him to confront him, and we stopped at the large statue of the two shinobi that have a fighting stance."
"I was defeated by Sasuke, but what strange is that he didn't kill me after that."
"The defeat is not what pains me but the promise I didn't accomplish."

"...Sigh, Alright! Shikamaru, why don't we have Ramen? It's on me!"
"...What just happened?" Shikamaru confuse how Naruto change his behaviour and atmosphere in the blink of an eye
"Forget what I said! You are here to comfort me aren't you? So, accompany me to eat Ramen!" Naruto ecstatically say before walking out to the room
"What? don't you want it?"
"...Damn, Okay sure!" Shikamaru decided to just shrug it off because he really wanted to comfort and sympathise with Naruto.
But he just doesn't know how Naruto changes inside out and the thing reside inside him.
