Chapter 4 God of Heroes vs Hero of Tomorrow

Henry was walking down the Halls with Brunhilde and Goll as they talk about what will happen next.

"After this victory, who else will the gods send?" Brunhilde said.

"Seeing how our fighters defeated Zeus and make Posedon a joke the next one might be another Greek.

"And you would not be wrong." They saw someone and it was a big guy with red hair having tattoos on him.

Goll gained an intense look on her face before she rushed up to the God as if she was going to hit him, only for that look to turn into a look of joy and happiness as the God smiled and leaned down a bit and raised up his arm as the duo linked them up together in joy. "Brother Heracles!" Geir said happily.

"Geir, look at you now! You've gotten so big and you're so brave now!" Heracles said with a happy smile as he laughed joyfully.

"It has been a while since last we met…Brother Hercules." Brunhild said with a small smile, bowing a bit to Heracles.

"Indeed, it sure has, Brunhild." Hercules said. "You're just as polite as ever, huh?" He noted casually as he let go of Geir and scratched his head.

"At the very least I am glad you're looking as healthy as ever." Brunhild said softly.

Heracles looks at Henry. "So your the one helping Brunhilde and humanity."

"Of course, you see I have many things to why I should protect them. Also from what you said, does that mean your our next opponent?" Henry said.

"You are correct." He said making the two Valkyries worried.

"Although, it is not my place to say this…I wish you good luck." Brunhild to Hercules.

"Yeah…you too." Hercules said. "I would give up the battlefield choice to you, since I want to make it fair."

"Well, the fighter I know will be very grateful as he would like to fight at his home." Henry said.

Heracles nodded and leaves them.

"Who did you pick for Heracles Henry?" Goll asked.

"A true of justice." Henry said making Brunhilde surprised.

As Heracles walks away he heard a voice. "I saw that~." Loki appears out of a energy. "You sure get along with the Valkyries, don't you? Hercules."

Heracles stares at him.

"Oh, I get it. Though our Pantheons may be far apart in geography…they're both full of you half-assed Demigods, huh? Isn't going to be hard for you~?" He asked, but Hercules smirked.

"Humanity is a fearsome foe, they prove themselves that much." Hercules stated. "As a representative of the Gods and as a military man, I intend to have a fair fight."

"Hmm. Hope that works out for you." Loki stated.

"Loki… let me just say one thing to you… I'm opposed to the end of Humanity." Hercules said firmly. "However… ever since Ragnarok started, I've had no intention of losing. As a representative of the Gods, I will win without a shadow of a doubt!" He shouted. "On top of that… I will move to save Humanity…!"

"Heh. You haven't changed a bit… you don't know who side you're on." Loki stated.

"I'm always on the side of Justice." Hercules stated firmly.

"Justice, huh?" Loki stated.

A shadow passes by them confusing the two as they looked up.

They saw a swing with someone moving back and foward.

"Why is there a swing here?" Loki said.

In the swing was a girl with long brown hair and green eyes. She's wearing a blue knee-length dress with short puffy sleeves, worn with a bloodstained white pinafore apron. The apron's pockets have the astronomical signs of Eris and Jupiter sewn on them. She wears a pair of black and white striped stockings and knee-high black boots with belts. Around her neck is a Omega necklace.

"Who the heck is this a human?" Loki said.

She looks down at them. "Who? Is this the girl with the green eyes swinging around?"

Heracles blinks at the way she talks. "Well yes. That's what he asked?"

She chuckles. "I am the girl that fell down the rabbit hole. But my name is Alice."

"Alice? Wait your one of the chosen fighters of humanity." Loki said.

"Correct, it seems the God of trickery isn't pleased with the heroic God to be friendly with others. Almost like cracks can appear." Alice said.

Loki got mad and said: "Why you-"

He got cut off when a knife appears behind him to go on his neck, Alice managed to sneak up behind him.

"How... How did you do that?!" Loki got scared.

Heracles got surprised. "How did she do that?"

"Now, it won't be good if your team lost a member this soon, so..." She moves away. "A girl needs her time." She jumps off the edge.

Heracles gasped and runs to check on her but she was gone.

"Huh, she is impressive." Heracles said.

Loki was rubbing his neck, he almost died if she had her volund already done. I won't let her trick me again.

Later at the match

Everyone came and saw the stage changed to be a copy of a city that has the sun always shining with a building called Daily Planet.

Heimdall was above the city on a swing. "Now to represent the gods. He stands the man that intends to bear the burden of the gods defeats! Here he is! This gallant demigod forced both the nemean lion and cerberus, the hound of hades… Into submission with his bare fist! After clearing all 12 labors assigned to him, he advanced the steps of olympus!" Heimdall shouted, a chariot pulled by horse appeared. "He shines light up on gods and human. The envoy of justice! Unparalleled in bravery! it's Heracles!"

Many of the humans cheered for him along with the gods.

"And now to represent Humanity! He is the hero of Metropolis! Faster than a speeding bullet! More powerful than a locomotive! Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound! He is the Man of Steel! His name is Superman!" Heimdall said.

Then someone flies down to the arena and they saw Superman stand before them. (Smallville one wearing the costume.)

"Superman?" asked all the gods and humans.

"What's super about that human?"

"Does it mean he's super strong?"

"Yeah Superman." All of Metropolis cheered.

Superman faces off against Heracles.

Zeus who's covered in bandages, studies the new fighter.

"Hmm, this Superman fellow feels similar to Heracles and has greater power compared to the gods." said Zeus.

"Oh so that's they're idea, getting someone similar." Loki said.

"Well what did you think about my chosen fighter for Heracles?" Henry asked the two Valkyries.

"He's almost similar to Big Brother Heracles, based on how he act." said Goll.

"And he seemed very powerful, maybe even stronger than the rest of the gods." said Brunhilde.

"He's the world's most powerful hero for a reason. Also I think your sister likes him." He then remembers.

Flashback

He was having a meeting with Hlokk at her room and she said: "So who's my partner?"

"Look behind you." Henry said.

She looks back and blushes seeing Clark Kent smiling at her.

"Hello." He said.

She blushes even more before looking to the side. "Well he seems okay."

Tsundere. Henry chuckles while looking to the side.

Flashback ends

"Wait she agreed that easily." Brunhilde said.

"A pretty face can change a girls mind." He shrugs. "You don't need to force her." He narrows his eyes a bit.

"So your my opponent." Heracles said.

"Yes, let's have a honorable fight." Superman said and Heracles smiles.

Heimdall starts the match.

"I was going to ask for you to surrender and I would talk to Zeus." Heracles said.

"I prefer not to take a chance. Since it's better to be safe than sorry." Superman said.

"I can understand. But i'll face you." Heracles swings his club.

Superman than throws a fist making a clash of power.

"That human, he's able to stop his attack." Ares got surprised.

"It seems he's able to keep up." Hermes said.

Heracles and Superman traded more blows, the humans watched the fight between two great Heroes.

Superman flies up and moves around to strike at Heracles making him grunt.

"Amazing, Superman is moving fast." Heimdall said.

"Yeah Superman, show that God to not mess with us." Jimmy said.

"Yeah show him." Pete said.

Superman punches Heracles away making him go through a building.

"Oh my~. How are you feeling?" Loki asked the two Greek Gods. "Isn't this a troubling result, my Greek friends? And after you talked such a big game before too~."

"Silence." Ares stated. "That man, Hercules… I trust him wholeheartedly." He said.

Heracles got up. "Your pretty strong."

"I'm not called Superman for nothing." He said.

"Well then Superman, show me why your so super." He charges at the hero.

The two fought and they can be seen as counterparts, Heracles was once a human that was weak before he drank Ambrosia to gain the power of Zeus to protect the humans, fighting against the gods before becoming one.

While Superman is a alien from space that was strong ever since a baby, learning about his past living in a farm to learn how to be human instead.

They clashed again before Heracles swings his club to strike at Superman making the man of Steel block the attacks.

He then dodges him and moves around striking at Heracles.

"I'm still not done. Nemean Lion consume me." Heracles charges up as the club changes into a lion roaring at Superman.

First Labour: Nemean Lion, it shoots a energy Lion at Superman pushing him back.

"Superman!" Metropolis got worried.

"Get him Heracles!" A soldier from Greece said.

"Hey look, Heracles tattoos are growing." A kid points out and they saw it spread.

The labors of Heracles give him the power but should the tattoos reach the end, he will die.

Superman looks at Heracles with a frown. "You would harm yourself to defeat me?"

"If it means to continue to be the hero I will do it." Heracles said.

Superman sees Heracles shoot another blast and counters it with his heat vision destroying it.

The gods got surprised and Ares said: "How did he do that?"

Loki stares at him. "Oh I see, he's not a real human."

"What?" Hermes looks at him.

"He's something else, it seems that's why. Looks like all the fighters are from different worlds with this one not even being a human." Loki said.

"That's why." Zeus thinks about it. "Very good."

"Hey why is that thing even representing humanity." A greek yells at Superman.

"Hey don't call Superman that." Jimmy said.

Heracles sees the awful words being thrown at Superman. "Don't insult him!" That stopped the greeks surprising them. "This man is still a hero, to be able to help humanity. So I accept him." He smiles.

Superman smiles back. "Thanks."

The two went back to the fight as they traded blows many times, Heracles uses his nemean Lion attack and Superman uses his heat vision to counter it.

"Wow, they're both going at it." Goll said.

"It's only natural, they're rivals in they're own ways." Henry said.

Superman flies up and shoots his heat vision making Heracles use another power the Sixth Labour: Bird of Stymphalia, with one swing Heracles sends a gust at Superman pushing him back.

Superman sees another one and uses his super breath to stop it.

"He used his own breath to stop the bird!" Ares said.

"I guess that's why he's super." Hermes said.

The two traded blows again and Heracles uses the Seventh Labour: Cretan Bull to strike at Superman making a shockwave from they're strikes destroying what's around them.

Superman blocks it with his arms and he pushes Heracles back as the two kept trading blows.

Superman then strikes at Heracles away to send him against a building.

"Heracles! How much power does this Superman has." Ares said.

Heracles got sent back many times and he crashes against the ground.

He got up and looks at Superman. "It seems we're both not giving up. I can understand how you might feel. I was born a human. Humanity and Deity...as one holding both titles... I can say this... Humanity is foolish, jealous, hateful, discriminatory and yet... in spite of all that, I truly love Humanity."

That made many humans be in tears.

"So Superman i'll give you all that I have." Heracles said surprising Superman.

He swings his club up making a portal. "I summon the hound of hades."

Cerberus came down bitting on to Heracles as he changed having spikes and he was stronger.

"The final one." Superman said.

Heracles charges at him punching at Superman making him counter it as the two traded blows making many shockwaves.

Heracles hits him away and Superman got sent through a building making him grunt.

"Come on Heracles." Ares said.

Superman got hit up but he stops himself and they saw the sun shine on him, the wounds on him got healed surprising many.

"The sun, it's making him healed." Hermes said.

"No!" Ares said.

"Superman can heal himself with the sun, so he can endure the attacks." Henry said.

"That means he can outlast Heracles." Brunhilde said.

Superman charges at Heracles and punches at him making the two trade many blows with the two not giving up.

They went around the city trying to surpass the other no matter what.

Superman then punches Heracles in the face with the greek doing the same against Superman.

They kept hitting each other before they made one final punch making a massive explosion.

The crowd waited and the smoke starts to clear, they saw Heracles and Superman standing before Heracles falls down defeated.

"No Heracles!" The kids yelled.

"No." Heracles friend looks down.

"Heracles!" Ares said.

"He's out of time." Zeus said.

Heracles was on the ground and his time was up.

"Even after everything, you held back and tried to eliminate me in the other ways." Heracles said.

Superman looks at him. "My human parents taught me kindness, like how you love humans. I also love them too. As that's what it means to be a Superman, to use your powers to protect others in need. Always be the one to give a hand to those that are in need. So I rather save a life than end it."

"Such honor!" gasped Heracles, never expected to hear something like it.

All the gods and humans, felt moved by Superman's speech, although some are too stubborn to accept it.

Odin scoffed, "Preserving life, even if they're good or evil? He's nothing more than a naive fool, it's a kill-or-be-killed world all the time."

"You said it Lord Odin!" agreed Huginn.

Superman holds his hand. "I tried to save you, but looks like your time is up."

"I know, but at least I have an honorable fight knowing that there's another being who shares the right justice that I desire." smiled Heracles sadly.

"What is your name?" Heracles asked.

"It's Clark." Superman said only to him.

"Clark, huh? Nice name for a normal human, to save others."

Heracles smiles. "You see yourself as a human despite being a alien. That to me is a true hero."

Superman smiles and Heracles glows before something amazing happened as Heracles became one with Superman, like a volund.

"Big brother Heracles..." cried Goll.

"Even though his gone, he will live on through Superman." said Brunhilde.

"Well since Heracles isn't there, the winner is Superman." Heimdall said.

The gods were shocked to see that and Superman got up looking at himself.

He smiles before walking foward to the entrance.

Many of the greeks couldn't have the heart to hate him since he only did what was right.

"Superman! Superman! Superman!" The people of his world cheered and he smiles at them.

Henry smiles and leaves. "And that's how the story of Heracles ends with a happy ending. Where he lived on with the true Hero of the people."

Note: Here's the Heracles match, he fought against Superman as they can both see as counterparts, also yes Superman wasn't trying to kill Heracles as he wanted to eliminate him in other ways, Heracles just used Cerberus and screw that up.

Also I have to remind others I am not taking requests for members, I rather pick them myself.

Hey Elliot recommending is basically taking requests, if I added a Toku hero it's not because you Said it because I wanted, I don't want to get ideas from others, I want to do it myself since I don't want to get screwed by other peoples ideas since I prefer to make it myself.
