Chapter 5 Interlude

Loki was sitting at a fountain alone before he saw someone.

The person that came foward was Buddha.

"Yo… I was waiting for you." Loki told Buddha. "My dear Buddha."

"So you wanna try? Having a fight, that is…" Buddha asked Loki, who remained silent.

They stared at each other for a bit and they're energies were showing.

"Me? No, no!" Loki said cheerfully. "Let me see, I wanted to ask you something." He answered. "Now, this is the first time I've seen the Valkyrie girls Volund, too see? And they've fascinated me, y'know? Yep, yep."

Buddha was silent staring at him.

"Actually something's bothering me ever since the first bout… but then I got to thinking, I mean come on~." Loki stated. "Mortals were able to stop the attacks of the Gods, push the Gods into a corner, and even kill the Gods. So I've been wondering if those girl's Volund always had that much power, right? And at the end of the day, I can't imagine any God giving those demi-gods such a cheat, and then there's that Bookkeeper and his fancy little book~." Loki stated. "Hmm~ Hmm~ and then it hit me. That there was only one way it could have happened. What'd you call it again, my dear Buddha…? Remember, you had something called… pure land, right? And my trusting one's fate to another, they can draw out the limits of their power. If I recall correctly… that power was called… Devotion." Loki told Buddha. "Meaning, that their Volund isn't just forming weapons of divinity… but enabling them to fight against the Gods by entrusting their lives to their wielders. I just get the feeling that's the only way~. Ah, sorry to lecture you there. So… what do you think?" He asked.

"What do I think..?" Buddha repeated. "I still don't get it… what you wanted to ask me…?" He asked. "Actually, it was so long that I wasn't even paying attention. Ya dig?" He sticks his tongue out.

Loki got stunned seeing that before he laughs it off.

"Ahahah, sorry about that." Loki said. "I'm gonna ask you straight then. Are you a traitor?"

"So what if I am?" Buddha asked.

"I'll kill you." Loki told him.

"Divine retribution…Divine retribution…Divine retribution…Divine retribution… to the traitor, we judge…" The group shouted, Daikokuten, Jurojin, Edisu, Hotei, Fukurokuju, Benzation, all together they made up the 7 Lucky Gods. "Divine retribution." Bishamonten, the leader of the 7 Lucky Gods stated.

"Oh my, something strange has come!" Loki stated.

"Yo, been a while, eh? Buddha?" Edisu said to Buddha. "I've been waiting for this day, y'know? The day I could finally hand down punishment on your ass." Buddha simply crushed his candy.

"Ah, man. You gotta suck on candy till it's done. But I keep biting right through it." Buddha stated. "So who were you again? He asked cluelessly.

"C'mere, you bastard!" Edisu shouted. Buddha simply spit the stick of lollipop into the hand of Edisu.

"The hell do you think you are!? Damn brat!" Edisu shouted. "We'll kill you!" The rest of the Lucky Gods shouted.

"Now now~." Loki said, getting in the way.

"Loki, if you defend him, then we'll also…" Hotei began to say.

"Nah, that ain't it. This is myyy prey~. I won't have you stealing it~." Loki told them. "Got it~?" He freaked them out and quickly joined their side. "Just kidding. Oh? Did you really think I would protect you?"

"Hehe, doesn't bother me either way." Buddha said with a smirk. "You guys wanna brawl? Let's get started then." He unleashed a wave of energy.

"Well that's not good to attack one of your own."

"Wait but your match is already over." Loki got confused.

They saw Jack with Luffy, Goku and Luffy's crew among them.

"I think it would be best if we assist him." Jack takes out his sword.

Loki and the Seven Lucky Gods, are ready to fight Buddha and his newfound allies. The God of Mischief then notice something strange in Jack's sword, making him realize it...

"Human, why does your sword contain my uncle's essence?" demanded Loki.

Jack smirks. "That's a secret."

This infuriated him, "Tell me!"

Jack goes into a battle stance with the others, but then a wind blast came knocking the gods back.

They looked and saw one of the fighters for humanity, Aang.

"Oh hey there, little Airbender." greeted Buddha, "Glad you join us."

"I'm happy to help." Aang smiles.

Aang met up with Buddha and they became friends.

Loki got up before Alice appears in front of him.

"So hello again." She smirks.

"That's enough!" A voice shouted, punching the ground splitting up the two teams. It was revealed to be Zeus and Odin. "Good grief, you kids… got too much energy, eh?" He asked.

"Gramps… and Uncle too…" Loki got surprised to see them.

"I don't know what happened, but fighting at a time like this… can't say I'm impressed." Zeus said.

He then saw Goku. "Oh Son Goku."

"Hey there gramps, it seems your up and ready again." Goku said.

"Yes, it will take more than that to keep me down." Zeus said.

"We're Heaven's executioners, y'know! You ain't got no jurisdiction over…" Edisu shouted.

"Enough of this." Odin said, seriously, the pressure of his aura was overwhelming.

This stopped them since they felt that power, Usopp and Chopper got scared with some of the others.

Odin looks at Luffy. "You."

Luffy stares at him. "Oh your Thor's old man."

Odin had hatred coming out of him since this is the one that killed his son.

"Ah well. Kinda lost all my motivation to fight." Loki stated. "Forget it. Later Buddha. Until we meet again."

"Death. To traitors… do not forget." Bishamonten stated.

The others went away leaving Buddha there with the other two.

Well… that happened." Zeus said casually.

"Fighting is over now. Back to your room as well." Zeus told Buddha. "I'd advise you not to start anymore fights, got it?"

"Kaaaah! Kakaka!" Buddha laughed, and Zeus joined in. "The only one that… can move me… on heaven or earth… is… Me."

"Sheesh… quite the troublesome one." Zeus stated. "That being said, this Ragnarok isn't quite going as expected… aye, Norse god?" He asked. "Alright, guess I'll head back to see when they'll start the next match!" He leaves Odin to himself.

Odin then unleashed his aura scaring his birds.

Buddha sees Aang waiting for him at the other side.

"It seems that norse God got mad." Aang said.

"Don't worry, he'll blow some steam off. Say how about we check who they'll send from they're your team." Buddha said.

"Yeah, I'm curious to see who will be next." Aang said.

With Luffy

Luffy and crew walked foward before they saw Thor in front of them.

"It's Thor!" Chopper and Usopp got scared seeing him.

Many got ready to fight and Luffy smiles. "Hey how are you doing?"

"Hello there young Luffy, I'm doing good." said Thor with a small smile.

"I never expected a human like you to be able to destroy Mjolnir, but it was the best fight." He looks at the others. "I can tell this group are crew."

"Yes they're my nakama." Luffy said.

"Don't expect us to too weak." Zorro grins.

"We'll see." Thor leaves.

"Hey Thor." Luffy said getting his attention. "How about you join my crew?"

"Luffy!" His crew yelled at him.

"What?" asked Luffy innocently, "Thor already show how strong he is, of course I want him in my crew."

"Your literally asking a god." said Sanji in annoyance.

Thor stares at the scene before he chuckles. "I'll think about it." He then leaves.

"Well that was surprising." Nami said.

With Heimdall

"What you want me to change to change the rules?!" Heimdall was talking to Loki in private.

"Of course since it's they are using enemies from another world." Loki said.

"But theres nothing in the rules against it." Heimdall said.

"Heimdall you don't want to make the gods mad now do you." Loki smiles with a evil look.

Heimdall got scared and looks away.

"Good." Loki then leaves.

"I hate him." Heimdall mutters.

He wanted to do a fair match but now he has to fix it against humanity.

Loki moves before he saw Alice at the exit with a light coming out shining on her.

"You!" He charges at her.

She looks at him before turning into butterflies when Loki jumped.

He then crashed against a wall hitting it with his face.

Loki then holds his face and looks around. "Where did that bitch go?!"

Theres only a few people that can crawl through his skin and Alice was now one of them.

"I'll make her pay, even if we don't win the next ones. If I get to fight her she will pay." Loki said.

Alice was watching from edge above him and she smiles.

"Looks like the little God can't handle my madness." She said.

Note: Here's a little chapter to let the characters interact a bit with it having the Buddha scene, as I wanted the matches to flow better, Aang appeared and he's one of the fighters for humanity.
