My review for Dragon Ball Super Superhero

I believe Dragon Ball's latest film can be describe in these two words: DISGUSTING GARBAGE!

First off the animation for the movie was just goddam awful, it looks like a 3rd rate video game! Then there's the story which is just reusing practically everything from the Cell Saga!

Then there are the villains. They're all morons. I mean it take shooting at a kid to make Gamma 1 and 2 realize the Red Ribbon Army is evil but not kidnapping her or talking about world domination while they're in the SAME ROOM! The they're Dr. Heido who is nothing more but a superhero-obsess man-child who somehow made androids who's power rivals the gods! ARE YOU FRICKING KIDDING ME?! And Cell Max was nothing but a stupid animal with nothing that made the original Cell such appealing villain.

Then there's the humor. I know Dragon Ball's origin is in humor but the amount in this film of just stupid! Most particularly Bulma's pathetically petty and morainic wishes for a butt job and a fricking HALF MILLIMETER EYELASH EXTENSION! And don't get me started on fat Gotenks!

But the worst by far is how they took Gohan and Piccolo, who are supposed to be the film, and completely and utterly ruin their character! First of Piccolo, who supposed to be a proud warrior, constantly tried relying on someone-else to solve the problem. Then instead of training to get stronger he uses the Dragon Balls to wish to unlock his potential when he could wished Goku and/or Vegeta back. But he still got his butt kicked, only to be given a new form given to him on a silver platter which he did not earn. As for the form itself Orange Piccolo, is absolute cringe! His physique belongs on a brutish brawler not a strategic fighter like Piccolo, his head changes so much that it bares almost zero resemblance to the Piccolo we all know, not to mention he looks like he's wearing fricking arm warmers!

And finally there's Gohan who despite promising to keep training to protect his family is clearly not much effort in either! The complacency in regards to his training because he believes he can let Goku or Vegeta handle any threat that may come is just pathetic. And despite choosing not to fight so he can be with his family he fails at that too! He's clearly neglecting his daughter in favor of work to the point oblivious that Pan was kidnapped! Then there is the dumpster fire that is Gohan Beast. Design-wise it's just a recolor his teenage Super Saiyan 2 form. And the hair is just uglily big. And lore wise it makes absolutely no senes! People say it's Gohan unleashing his hidden power but that is just ridiculous, he literally had his potential unlock TWICE! And you expect me to believe that Gohan who time and again shrugs off his training is now on Goku's and Vegta's level? NEVER!

And the worst part is how I keep seeing people calling this piece of garbage the best Dragon Ball movie. At least I can take solace that my fellow true Dragon Ball fans can see past the hype and see it for the waste of money it really is.
