Hi friends! Thank you so much to all reviewers for your support. I super duper appreciate that. I'd like to give another huge shout out to Worldnotesongs88 for favoriting and following me and this story! I really appreciate that!
A guest reviewer on this story commented saying I didn't have to continue this story if I didn't want to, but I will still continue this because it seems like a lot of you guys like it and honestly I kind of enjoy writing it. I'll ask my brother–who knows more about transformers–for help. Another guest reviewer commented about deceptions, and surprisingly, I actually know about deceptions, so stay tuned for that.
Also, thank you to reviewer James Lewis, supporting me and giving me suggestions for this and other stories. He suggested a Power Rangers: Dino Fury and Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous crossover. Power Rangers is one of my favorite fandoms, not to mention Dino Fury as my favorite of them all. I'll definitely try that idea once I have some spare time, so stay tuned for that!
One more thing: I want to ask if you guys like me doing POV's in this story, or if you would rather me continue in just 3rd person. Please tell me your thoughts!
Anyways, thanks for all of your support and here's chapter 3!
Kenji's (POV)
The light I saw a minute earlier begins to move.
Without thinking, I hop down the deck and bolt into the trees, leaving the treehouse behind. Ha, I think. So stealthy. I cling to a tree branch and haul myself up. I snuck past Brooklynn. I climb to the tallest tree branch and slowly stand up.
Brooklynn's concerned voice echoes through my ears. I peer through some leaves to get a better view of that mysterious light. Gosh, where is it? I can hear my mind say in a frustrated tone.
It begins to sprinkle and I slowly climb down the now slippery tree.
Once I've reached the grass, I gradually move into a mega sprint. Ugh. I trip over a tree root and Splat. My stomach slaps a fresh pile of mud. I kick my legs and pound my fists in frustration. What am I going to do now?
Just then, I hear a sound–like a growl. Not a dinosaur noise, kind of like–a bear noise? My head darts from side to side, hoping deeply that I don't see a giant beast staring at me like I'm a perfect dinner.
I look forward and sure enough, a large clearing of grass stands before me. Yes! A clearing, just what I need. I heave myself out of the mud and jump to my feet. I sprint towards the big plain of grass and crane my neck in all directions to try and spot the suspicious glow in the sky. But I can't find it. It seems to have disappeared. I stare down at my clothes, dripping with mud and stamp my foot on the compacted Earth.
I need to go get cleaned up. I slowly turn in the direction of camp and stoll back into the forest. My head is almost buried under the trees' cover when a bright ray of light stings my eyes. I shield them as I alertly twirl around and see what looks like a spotlight beaming from the sky. Is this what I was looking for?! I scream in my head, covering my ears because a sound vibrates through the air, and although it isn't loud, it hurts my ears to hear it.
Then it stops. In fact, everything seems to stop–even time, as a bright yellow-golden machine shoots down the ray of light. It lands with a thud onto the grass. My eyes stare at the car in disbelief.
Time doesn't seem to start again. I can't move. Where did this thing come from? Where did this thing come from? I repeat in my head over and over until I finally suck up the courage to look to the sky. But I just move my eyeballs, not my entire neck. I'm so terrified of moving any muscle in my body because it could be my last movement.
And then things get worse. The car's machinery seems to dislodge from the car itself and then the machine gets taller and hands, feet, arms, and legs stick out. My eyes shoot to the top of the machine and I see a head. A head. Time slowly starts back up again and I gradually come to my senses. There's a robot, standing full-sized in full form in front of me. Oh wait. I think, still horrified at this brand new sight. This isn't just a robot, it's a transformer.
My stomach and heart seem to switch places.
I don't know what this transformer is doing here, but there better not be more. My eyes dart to the sky again, and to my terror, I can see a dark ship getting bigger as it lowers itself on this harmless piece of land.
I know there's nothing to do but scream, and I do it, "Ahhhhhhhh!"
That's the 3rd chapter! I hope it was entertaining for y'all! I'm trying to make the most sense I can and hopefully it's working and it's also getting easier now that I'm starting the interaction between campers and transformers. Please let me know your thoughts and suggestions. Thanks again for your continued support! Chapter 4 will be on soon!
Yarn Kitty!
