As Nova and Gordon's spaceship continued to travel to Lagomorphus-9, Sam couldn't help but monologue about his current situation.

"Captain's log," Sam spoke, gazing at the blackish-purple color of the galaxy and the millions of stars, leaning back in one of the spaceship's hover-chairs. "12:30 in the afternoon. No sign yet of Lagomorphus-9, nor my little buddy. Beginning to grow worried, signing off now."

Nova raised one eyebrow, slightly confused at Sam's reference.

"So, uh, how long have you known this "Max" fella?" She asked, sitting next to Sam.

"Oh, pretty much all my life, he's the best!" Sam cheerfully spoke, and Nova could easily feel the motion of Sam wagging his tail at merely thinking about the rabbit. "and he doesn't even like girls..."

"Well, before we get there we've gotta go through a whole lotta weird things…" Nova steered the ship a little faster this time. "So we should totally make a pit stop right here!"

Gordon landed the spacecraft on a small docking pad, where a gas station was only a few feet away. "URANUS BRAND FUEL" was the name of the tiny, alien snack-cake filled establishment, and Sam was somewhat annoyed, having heard a similar variation of that joke from Max repeatedly.

"You guys still use gas in space?" Sam asked. "I presumed you'd be more technology advanced than we earthlings."

"Oh no, not your earth gas..." Nova replied, checking her wallet for any form of galactic currency.

Nova, Gordon and Sam walked into the space gas-station with the ringing of a small bell from the door heralding their arrival to the clerk.

"Yo, Frank!" Nova called to the gas station clerk.

A massive, four-eyed alien with neon-blue skin turned to face the small rabbit and tall dog (his height outnumbering the both of them). He muttered something to Nova in an alien language that sounded almost like 8-bit video game noises, Nova spoke back, then excitedly gestured to Sam.

"Uh, hehe, hi?" Sam spoke, awkwardly gazing up at the large, intimidating extraterrestrial.

"Don't be alarmed pal, just told him you were from outta town, and we needed to refuel with some Purcellian crystals..." Nova spoke, taking some blueish-green crystals and shoving them into a thermos-like container, shaking it up like a bartender. "And also he's got a freebee item for ya..."

Frank proceeded to place a slushie-cup on the countertop like Sam had seen so many times before whenever Max had a craving for one (during a craving for violence). Before Sam could even fill it up from a slushie machine, however, Frank immediately vomited a thick, blue and red colored slurry into the cup, which was disturbingly warm and didn't smell like any other slushie Sam had tried.

"Gee...thanks?" Sam replied, reluctantly taking the alien slushie.
