On the shore by one of the beaches of Colony 9, Fiora is sitting down on the sand, looking into the horizon. She hears a few footsteps in the distance.

Fiora: "...Oh, Shulk!"

Shulk: "Good afternoon, Fiora."

Fiora: "I haven't seen you all day. What have you been doing?"

Shulk: "I was helping with doing a few maintenance checks on the Junks, and I decided to take a break and come relax at the beach."

Fiora: "I see. Seems like we had the same idea then."

Shulk: "Yeah."

After he says this, Shulk sits down next to Fiora.

Fiora: "You know Shulk, I wonder how Melia's doing back in Alcamoth. She hasn't come to visit us very often."

Shulk: "I'm sure she's working hard to restore Alcamoth back to what it was and leading the High Entia. It's already been about 3 weeks since we took down the Fog King."

Fiora: "Yeah, I suppose it has been."

They spend a bit gazing at the sea, feeling the breeze. Footsteps are heard in the distance approaching again.

Shulk: "Oh, Reyn!"

Reyn: "Hey there, hope I'm not interrupting anything!"

Fiora: "No, it's quite alright. Let me guess, did you also decide to come relax by the beach for the afternoon?"

Reyn: "Actually, I'm on my break right now. I just went to look for Shulk since I hadn't seen him at all today. But, now that you've brought it up..."

Reyn walks over to Shulk, and sits down.

Reyn: "Sittin' here doesn't sound like a bad idea."

After they sit down, they spend a while conversing about life on Colony 9, enjoying small talk and laughing all the while. Fiora then turns to the two.

Fiora: "You know, I've been thinking about it... We've... known each other for a very long time, haven't we? I think it's been more than a decade."

Shulk: "It has, just about."

Fiora: "I often like thinking back on all the memories we shared. I feel... as if our adventure taught me to cherish them even more."

Shulk: "That is true. I can't say I would've been able to grow as much as I did if I hadn't met you two."

Reyn: "You can say that again. You remember how often I was there watching your back, don't ya?"

Shulk: "I do. You really have been there since the start, huh..."

Fiora: "Hey! Aren't you two forgetting about someone?"

Shulk: "Oh, erm... Of course, you're important too, Fiora. We were just..."

Fiora: "Haha, oh, I'm kidding!"

Reyn scratches his head.

Reyn: "...It's really hard to tell when you're joking sometimes."

Fiora laughs a bit.

Shulk: "I had gone out of the Colony to fetch parts and wandered off. Afterwards, I..."

They begin reminiscing back to those times, when they met for the first time.
