You're Okay

Pairing: Ritsuka (female) x Mash

Author's Note: Been a very long time since I did adaptions for the Babylonia anime, but this one short little scene from episode 6 is so cute for Mash, I had to write it. And like always, I'm changing things. Since I now know there's Prototype Merlin (Female Merlin), I'll put HER in there in his place.

I'll add some things in there as well from Babylonia since that little scene kinda won't be enough for this particular story.

It's like Ritsuka-chan is in a dream. But...was it a dream? She remembers that she was in the underworld...retrieving some sort of...tablet. A tablet that she doesn't even know. But one thing for sure...she met someone...someone from the underworld that was whispering in her ear from behind. She cannot make out who, but it was a girl's voice.

Then, she hears another girl's voice. But this voice...sounds like Mash's voice. Mash is calling out to her. But where? Ritsuka-chan is engulfed in white light after hearing the other girl's voice. And when the light fades, it's dark. Mash's voice still calls out to her.

"Sempai? Sempai!?" the precious Shielder cries out.

Ritsuka-chan's eyes flutter open. Her vision clears to see Mash, Ana and Merlin-chan looking down to see if the cute redhead is alright.

"Sempai!" Mash cries.

Ritsuka-chan sits up, clutching her head. "Wha...what happened?"

"Oh thank goodness!" Da Vinci-chan from Ritsuka-chan's wristband says. "Status is normal now! Are you alright there, sweetie?"

"Well I..." Ritsuka-chan looks at the wristband she is communicating with. "I think I'm fine." She cannot get over what happened previously, though it's difficult to explain it.

"I'm glad...!" Mash says softly. "I'm so glad...you woke up...!"

"Eh!? Wh-why are you crying!?" Ritsuka-chan says in shock.

Mash sniffles and tries to wipe her tears away. "I'm just...so glad...! I'm so glad...!" Ritsuka-chan gives an apologetic smile as she takes her kouhai's hands in hers. "I'm alright now, Mash. Really, I'm fine."

Ana just smiles tenderly at this little moment.

Merlin-chan clears her throat, getting Ritsuka-chan and Mash's attention. "Now that we are all back on track, I would like to point out that you have this ancient tablet in your hands. The Tablet of Destinies."

"Ehhhhh!?" Ritsuka-chan cannot believe it. Where did that come from anyways? She explains what happened before she woke up.

"The underworld?" Mash asks.

"This girl was whispering something to me that I couldn't make out," Ritsuka-chan says. "But...does this tablet mean that...it's actually connected from this world to the underworld?" "Beats me," Merlin-chan shrugs. "Whoever this girl is, we must not take her lightly. We must not let this tablet get into the wrong hands."

"Right," Ritsuka-chan nods.

There are other questions that she wants to ask Merlin-chan, but decides to do that another time.

Next Day*

While Ritsuka-chan and Mash are setting up the table for breakfast, Merlin-chan peeks inside the room from the curtain to greet them with a yawn.

"Morning, you two," the white haired Caster servant says. "Hope you have a lovely morning~"

Ritsuka-chan giggles. "We're just hoping that King Gil would appreciate our efforts since our stay in Uruk. The two of us are like a Dream Team, you know? Teehehehe~"

Merlin-chan giggles as well. "Ufufu~! The King may not want to admit it, but you two work very hard. He is sure to reward you when he has a chance. By the way, your Onee-san has a message for you. Actually, one of King Gil's subjects asked me to pass that message to you. You two actually have a day off today~"

"So...we're not working as of today?" Mash repeats.

"That's what your Onee-san says~" Merlin-chan says. "Enjoy this surprise day off. Ahhhh, yes~!" She points to the two of them. "This gives me a brilliant idea! Fujimaru, why don't you take Mash on a date today~?"

Ritsuka-chan and Mash squeak as their faces turn bright red. Merlin-chan gives a lyrical giggle as she dashes upstairs to leave the two be. Ritsuka-chan and Mash shyly look around and then turn toward each other.

"Ummm...y-you know..." Mash starts. "Uhhh..."

"Y-yes?" Ritsuka-chan says.

"I, um, I actually...like wearing Uruk's clothing," Mash fiddles with her long skirt. "D-do I...look okay?" She is a blushing mess. She is just too cute for that.

"Y-yeah..." Ritsuka-chan nods. Her heart is beating so fast she can feel it. She puts both hands over her chest to take a few deep breaths. "M-Mash...I want to tell you something too."

"What is it, Sempai?" the purplenette asks.

"The day we were traveling from singularity to singularity, we have always fought together," Ritsuka-chan says. "I feel that...we truly are a team when it comes to these kinds of journeys."

"Sempai~!" Mash brightens, balling her fists to her chest.

"Let's continue doing that here in Uruk," Ritsuka-chan gives a toothy grin. "You are my partner, Mash. Not just a servant~"

"Yes...yes~!" Mash plunges herself in her sempai's arms. "You are my partner as well. Let's continue fighting together as one~!"

The two pull away and share a brief, but passionate kiss.

A/N: The first part was based on episode 6. The second part was based on episode 3. I thought those scenes were perfect for me to write Ritsuka-chan x Mash moments.

If I look for any more scenes from Babylonia, I will write them. For now, this is all I have for today.
