At long last, Sam, Nova and Gordon had arrived on a docking port in Lagomorphus-9. Sam was incredibly astonished at the grand scale of the massive city (which took up the entire Max head-shaped planet) and also incredibly astonished at the fact that--

"They all look like him..." Sam gasped at the entirely lagomorph-populace and how much they stared at him, then turned to Nova and Gordon. "And, wait, if that's the case, aren't you guys from here as well?"

"Y-yes, but we don't like to talk about it." Nova replied. "Anyway, the palace should be over here..."

Nova, Gordon and Sam walked up some stairs where a bridge was connecting part of the planet with a floating landmass. Tourists walked down the bush streets, taking pictures of themselves while interacting with the local populace of lagomorphs. On said floating landmass was the palace of Lagomorphus-9; large, somewhat intimidating, and made of what appeared to be marble. Shining in the twin suns of the planet, it was perhaps the brightest building in the entire city.

"That must be where they're keepin' my little buddy hostage…" Sam spoke, walking a little bit faster towards the space palace, rolling up his sleeves in anger, eyebrows furrowed. "Boy I'll show them a thing or two…gonna shove their thumbs right up their…eyes…"

"Jeez, Sam, calm down!" Nova replied. "We'll save him, it's just that these people won't give him up easy…"

"Greetings, strange travelers. I, am Lord Lapin, ruler of Lagomorphus-9, to what do I owe the disple--I mean, pleasure of your visit?" Lapin inquired.

Gordon pushed Sam forward, the dog awkwardly gazed back for a moment and adjusted his tie.

"We're—uh, we're just here for a tour of our lovely home, your, uh, Majesty.." Sam spoke after clearing his throat.

"Well, excellent," Lord Lapin clasped his hands together and hovered closer to the three anthropomorphic animals. "Come along, I'll show you everything the palace has to offer..."

After a minute or so, Sam turned back, making sure that Lapin wouldn't eavesdrop on his conversation.

"You guys distract this goon, I'll find Max!" Sam whispered to Nova and Gordon.

Both Lagomorphs nodded, and the tour continued with Lapin unaware that Sam had run off.

Sam searched the area for a possible prison or storage location, then he found it, surprisingly quickly. His eyes widened to find that Max had been placed in a massive, glass casing within an equally-large room, covered in expensive-looking throw pillows and blankets.

The little lagomorph was busy reading some space-newspaper, then he paused to gaze down at Sam.

"Hi Sam!" Max proudly exclaimed from the within the huge glass casing.

"SWEET NAUSEATING NON-SEQUITURS!Max?!" Sam exclaimed, overjoyed to see his little pal after so long. "What happened?!" He started to clamber up the side of the glass casing, fueled only by his love for the lagomorph. "Did they probe you? Lobotomize you? Did they IMPREGNATE YOU WITH A DISGUSTING ALIEN PARASITE BABY?!"

"Well actually its kind of a funny story, that guy's actually my da—" Max tried to speak before Sam went into action.

"GRRRG! How d'you BREAK this thing?!" Sam exclaimed, trying to puncture the thick glass his buddy was ensnared in.

"Oh, it's real simple—" Max walked over to the edge of the glass case, and opened up a little door. "You can just walk out!"

Sam was utterly speechless.

"--are you kiddin' me? Are you FUCKIN' kidding me?!" Sam face-palmed.

A loud alarm went blaring off immediately, but Sam quickly picked up Max as though he were a football and dashed down the halls of the palace, attempting to reach the Desoto.

"Woah, pal, you REALLY need deodorant!" Max briefly commented.

"No time for that now!" Sam remarked.

Sam dashed past Nova and Gordon, still carrying Max tightly.

"--TOUR'S OVER, LET'S GET OUTTA HERE!" Sam briefly bellowed.

"Alright!" Nova smiled. "I call shotgun!"

"No fair, I called it!" Max petulantly retorted.

Before Sam, Max, Nova and Gordon could even make their grand escape, they were immediately surrounded by thousands of battle-drones. Because of this, the entire planet of Lagomorphus-9 was now on lockdown, with every citizen being ordered by Chief Minister Conejo to remain in their homes.

"We're not leavin' without a fight…" Nova spoke, unsheathing her laser-sword again.

"Ooh, you've got a LIGHTSABER?!" Max chirped.

"Actually it's a solar lance…" Nova sliced multiple battle-drones in half, in a flurry of metallic parts and sparks. "A perfect weapon for this strange, savage age…"

"Gimmie that thing, I'mma go Anakin Skywalker on these guys' asses!" Max exclaimed, attempting to wiggle out from under Sam's arm.

"Sorry, only I may wield the--GAAH!" Nova exclaimed as Max shoved her out of the way and grabbed her solar lance. Nova growled in annoyance at Max, but she took out two guns and began firing at the robots instead.

"HYAH!" Max sliced a battle drone's head off and back flipped into Sam's arms. "SAM THROW ME!!"

Sam did just that, flinging Max like a football, and combined with his strength and Nova's solar lance, Max became a vortex of destruction, rapidly chopping up every drone in his wake.

"The Force is strong with you, little pal!" Sam commented before ripping out the entrail-like cables within a battle-drone's chest and using them to choke another.

"Thanks Max, I mean Sam!" Max winked at Sam, tossing the solar lance back to Nova.

"—I've had ENOUGH of your insolence!" Lord Lapin exclaimed, bursting onto the scene. "This is MY son, and I shan't loose him AGAIN!!"

The tall rabbit leader proceeded to grasp poor Gordon by the neck, choking the lagomorph-like alien.

"Aw c'mon Peepaw," Max spoke before a battle-drone flung the little lagomorph into a cage yet again. "I'm more earth-man than E.T! Sam's the only guy I wanna spend the rest of my life with! HAVE A HEART, LET ME OUT!!"

"MAAAXXX!!" Sam exclaimed as the battle-drones took his little buddy away yet again.

"And as for you..." Lapin still clutched Gordon's neck between his hand. He placed a plasma-gun close to Gordon's face and prepared to fire it on high.

"Nova...?" Gordon spoke yet again, his second line of dialogue.

(*KABOOOM!*)

"GORDOOOOOONNNNNNNN!!" Nova exclaimed as her poor brother was shot through the atmosphere and into the cold, dark vacuum of space.

Nova gazed back at Lapin with tears and anger in her eyes as Sam held the poor lagomorph woman back from attacking Lapin. The ruler, however, felt absolutely no remorse for his actions.

"Detain them." Lapin snapped his fingers and two battle-drones came to his aid.
