Episode 1 Part 2
LEE TEMPLE
Strong breeze blowed creating some slightly less than pleasant sands as the young woman on the bed slept. The shutters blew open showing that it was midnight or close to it anyway. The woman kept tossing and turning, the bedclothes that covered her body flung off by her violent movements. Several times, she tried opening her eyes but it was like they were glued shut. It was obvious that she was in the grip of a terrifying nightmare.
...He had a terrifying red eyes and he kept swinging his sword until only the red Warrior remained standing defiant in the face of overwhelming darkness. One swing sent him crashing hard to his knees and breathing hard. The demonic soldier raised his fiery weapon and proclaimed whilst looking up as if straight into her phantom eyes, "I am coming. And not even you will stop me this time." He laughed menacingly and brought the sword down...
The young woman woke up with a scream that reverberated through the whole temple. She then looked around the darkened room, her breathing wild and uncontrollable. She directed a glance at the blowing shutters as the rain began in earnest outside. She then looked sharply to the door as it swung open and a man in his fifties entered with a sword in hand. He took one look at the young lady and was by her side in a second. "They are coming. Commander Reus and Lord Magnus means to have our world for theirs. They are coming." The lady spoke as if in a trance. The man stood up, his eyes widened from the warning. Another man entered the room and glared at both the lady and the previous man before saying, "What is with all the ruckus, Smith? Danbury?" Master Smith bowed as he stood up, "Danbury had another vision. And she has not had one of those since we had to leave our hometown."Danbury then spoke, "We are sorry for the disturbance, Lee." She then looked at Smith who nodded before she continued, "Lee, I think it is time that we look for the avatars of the Energems that your family entrusted you with. Lord Magnus will soon be awake and Commander Reus is coming for us all." Lee scoffed, "Nonsense. We ensured that Magnus bit the dust at the cost of a great sacrifice. He can never come back." As both Smith and Danbury looked at him in disbelief, he raised up a hand and continued, "But, I do think that it pays to be prepared. The Energems are with Professor Xuan. And I trust him. He will ensure they get into the right hands before the week is over. If indeed Reus will be making his move, we should be there to stop him." Without further ado, he walked out. Smith then spoke up, "I only wish that the resistance the Energems will spring up will be enough to stop them once and for all." Danbury placed her hands on Smith's shoulder, "It has to be enough, Smith. It has to be."

Class was over for the day which was how five students found themselves in the library trying to catch up on their studies. It has been a few weeks of campus resumption. Marcus and Ashley sat in one corner whilst Sid, Olivia and Oliver sat on another corner of the library. By coincidence or fate, they were the last set of students there as dusk was fast approaching. Marcus dropped the novel he was reading on the table and checked his watch. The time had just struck 6:00pm, the time for the librarian to close the school library for the day. As Sid, Olivia and Oliver put their books away, Marcus and Ashley were already headed out of the door.
Meanwhile, not too far from where the library was situated, a sigil sign glowing red opened on the ground and a monster emerged from the sigil. He looked like a medieval warrior but with a mask that covered half of his face leaving the other burnt half exposed. He peered at his surroundings through red eyes and hefting his sword, he chuckled, "Ha ha ha, finally, the commander will have his victory." He made to move forward towards the spot of light in the distance but a laser blast stopped him making him growl as he spotted a man in suit holding a blaster targeted at him. He scowled and sniffed the human before he spoke, "Puny human, I can sense the power of the Energems on you. Now give it here and I will give you a quick death instead of a painful one." The man turned the blaster into a sword and replied, "Who are you, mate?" The monster grinned showing terrifying teeth, "I am Herald Korbiel from the Master's sanctum. He demands the surrender of your world or a quick work of it. Choose." The man grimaced and twirling the sword, he rushed forward to meet the huge size of Herald Korbiel head on. Korbiel sheathed his sword, cracked his fingers and chuckled before slapping him aside.
When the man rolled to a stop, a box fell from his suit and opened scattering all five gems embedded in what looked to be watch faces. Korbiel headed towards the Energems that were giving off ambient energy. By this same time, the five students who had been in the library emerged from around the corner. Night had all but fallen but because of the street light, they could very well see the scene in front of them. Korbiel paused in surprise making the man who was just coming around to shout, "Pick up the watches now." The five teens looked from the suited man on the ground to the surprised Korbiel. Korbiel removed his sword and pointed it at them, "Step away, kids." He moved away with deadly intent. The five teens not sure what to do picked up the nearest Energem to them. As they picked it up, several coloured lights covered them.
MORPHING SEQUENCE
Siddharth stood on high ground. He looked up as a dragon circled over him. He smiled as the dragon flew and stood behind him and breathed fire over the form of Sid. Instead of being excruciatingly painful, the fire was warm and soothing and by the time it receded, he was donned in a red armour. His arms were white with red markings and his trousers was white with black boots. He had around his waist a golden belt and hanging there was a blaster. The dragon swirled up forming his helmet with a visor and a mouthpiece. In the front of his armour was two black belt crossing each other. At the upper part of it was a dragon and fire insignia beside each other. At the back of the armour was the number 1.
Olivia stood on water. She looked inside the clear clean water as a shark jumped up and opened it's mouth as if it would swallow Olivia whole. Instead as the shark came down, it dissipated into blue radiant energy and by the time it receded, she was donned in a blue armour. Her arms were white with blue markings and her trousers was white with black boots. She had around her waist a golden belt and hanging there was a blaster. The shark swirled around her head forming her helmet with a visor and a mouthpiece. In the front of her armour was two black belt crossing each other. At the upper part of it was a shark and water insignia beside each other. At the back of the armour was the number 2.
Oliver stood on high ground. He looked around as a wolf ran from out of a forest and circled him creating positive ambient energy. He smiled as the energy receded and he was donned in a black armour. His arms were white with black markings and his trousers was white with black boots. He had around his waist a golden belt and hanging there was a blaster. The wolf swirled up forming his helmet with a visor and a mouthpiece. In the front of his armour was two black belt crossing each other. At the upper part of it was a wolf and Earth insignia beside each other. At the back of the armour was the number 3.
Marcus stood in the air. He looked down as a cheetah circled around him. He smirked as the cheetah came and stood behind him and breathed over Marcus. The breath was warm and soothing and by the time it receded, he was donned in a yellow armour. His arms were white with yellow markings and his trousers was white with black boots. He had around his waist a golden belt and hanging there was a blaster. The cheetah swirled up forming his helmet with a visor and a mouthpiece. In the front of hisbarmour was two black belt crossing each other. At the upper part of it was a cheetah and lightning insignia beside each other. At the back of the armour was the number 4.
Ashley stood in the air. She looked up as an eagle circled over her. She smiled as the eagle flew and stood behind her causing a pink whirlwind to circle around her. By the time it receded, she was donned in a pink armour. Her arms were white with pink markings and her trousers was white with black boots. She had around her waist a golden belt and hanging there was a blaster. The eagle swirled up forming her helmet with a visor and a mouthpiece. In the front of her armour was two black belt crossing each other. At the upper part of it was a eagle and wind insignia beside each other. At the back of the armour was the number 5.
MORPHING SEQUENCE ENDS
The light receded and the five teens now stood in a single line with the new Red Ranger in the middle, the Yellow and Pink Rangers by his left side and the Blue and Black Rangers at his other side. Explosion then sounded behind them breaking the trance. "We are freaking power rangers?" Marcus asked as he regarded his new armour with equal parts excitement and trepidation. Meanwhile, Ashley was squealing like mad and jumping around excitedly. Sid shrugged as he saw his armour and said, "I thought Power Rangers was a kids show." Oliver responded, hands on his blaster, "Apparently not." Olivia was about to speak when Korbiel charged the team in outrage. She then said, "Uh, guys?" Oliver immediately unhooked his blaster and pelted Korbiel with two laser shots sending him back slightly giving Sid the required space. He gave Korbiel a flying spin kick that sent Korbiel reeling to the side. The man stood up, wiping the blood from his lips and watched the fight with wide eyes. He knew from experience and from being it's engineer that each of the rangers were merely operating on the amateurish skill set in the Energems they were now bonded with.
Korbiel's sword fell from his hand as Olivia rushed in with Oliver to double team him. They pushed him back further now giving room for Ashley and Marcus who had prepared their blasters. They shot it with full force at Korbiel. Korbiel yelled in pain and outrage as sparks emerged from his body and he fell down and exploded. Immediately, the Energems powered down the rangers as there had been no call code or pass phrase. "That was... awesome." Ashley commented as she raised her wrist.
When they had morphed for the first time and defeated their enemy and been demorphed, their Energems had attached to their wrist. It looked like a watch and actually had a watch face with the coloured Energem looking like a crystal placed in between. It then had three buttons: their own colour buttons, ash button and a silver button. "So what just happened?" Sid asked the team looking around as if anyone had an idea of what had actually happened to them. The man moved towards them. "I can explain." The man said. He then looked at them and pressed a button on his wrist. All of them instantly teleported.

Commander Reus grabbed a nearby automaton and in his fury, his hand glowed red and the automaton melted. He then threw it away from him and turned to look at the three groveling generals of Lord Magnus. He hissed and walked towards the throne. Tilting his head, he spoke, "Liliana, I don't care what you do. But end this new so called heroes in spandex. I will not have interfering with my plans." Lily bowed and walked out of the throne room. Commander Reus then turned back and reached for his sword, his hand clenching and unclenching around the hilt before he relaxed his grip, "As for you, generals, I have a task for you. If this is war, I would like to be proactive and prepared." He then sat on the throne and waved his hand dismissive of the three generals as he began to think.
