Elli spent the next few years trying to get over George Stacy. She dated a few guys her age but she was never able to imagine her future with any of them, not like she'd been able to envision with him. But he was gone and she needed to come to terms with that.
A few years later, Elli was fighting crime by Peter's side when something strange happened. They were sucked through a portal of some sort before they found themselves in a different world.
"Peter, where are we?" she asked as she tried to take in their new surroundings. The scene was familiar but different at the same time.
Peter shook his head, "I don't know. We should look for someone familiar," he suggested as the two heroes began walking around the new scene looking for anything they'd seen before.
"What if we can't find anyone like that?" she questioned as she glanced around the familiar but not familiar world.
He shrugged, "I don't know. It's the only thing I can think to do, at the moment," he shared as he felt a call from somewhere far away and yet close. "Can you feel that?" he asked Eli as he felt as if he could hear someone calling out to Peter Parker.
"I don't," she answered, honestly, "I wish I did, but they may not have an Elli Beckett to look for here" she added as she felt Peter take a tight hold of her hand.
"Just stay close," Peter instructed as he followed the call until they found themselves walking through another portal into someone's home, where they met two confused teenagers.
"Who are you two?" Elli asked before Peter could shake his head at her reaction. They were the strangers, after all.
The girl spoke first, "I'm MJ and this is Ned," she answered, "I was trying to find my boyfriend, Peter Parker when we stumbled upon you two. What's the deal?" she inquired as she pulled some rolls into her hands.
Peter took over the conversation, "I'm Peter Parker," he answered, "And, this is Elli Beckett. She's like a Spider-Girl. We came because we could hear someone calling for me, but it seems like you were looking for someone else," he added as he raised a brow at the girl's defensive stance.
MJ shook her head, "I wasn't looking for you two at all," she turned to the boy she called Ned, "Find Peter, please?"
The young boy opened up another portal from a ring on his hand, but instead of finding who they were looking for, they located another Peter Parker.
After a few long moments of confusion, Elli spoke up, "Where would your Peter go to gather his thoughts?"
MJ smirked as she thought over her response before she shared as she gestured that the other Peters should speak with him while she, Ned, and Elli stayed behind.
Elli's Peter and the other one seemed to get through to the one in this world before they decided that they could cure the villains from her and the other Peter's worlds. The thought of what they'd decided on gave Elli a small glimpse of hope regarding what could be waiting for her at home if they succeeded.
Once they were in Peter One's apartment, Elli pulled aside her Peter, "If you can cure Lizardman before he goes back, is there a chance that George will be alive in our world when we get home?" she inquired, attempting to keep the optimism from her voice.
Her Peter shrugged, "I'm not sure. It's possible, but I'm not sure the exact moment a cured version would go back to appear on our Earth. I hope you get him back, Ells," he said, genuinely
"I hope this means that you get Gwen back too," she responded as she took a step back so the Peters could perfect their science experiments.
Once the Peters were done perfecting the cures, even after some drama with the Green Goblin, the heroes made their way to the Statue of Liberty to lure the villains out so they could heal them.
"You've got this," Elli gave the three Peters all of her confidence as she pledged to help in any way she could.
Her Peter shook his head, "None of them will be after you so just help where you can," he ordered, "I want to get you back to our world in one piece in case Captain Stacy is there waiting on you," he shared, mimicking the hope that she didn't want to have, but she also couldn't let go of.
"Understood," she replied as she shot her web up to the top of the Statue where she could help in any way possible based on her vantage point.
The villains showed up just as they predicted, but they were easily cured one by one until there was just one, the Green Goblin.
This Earth's Peter took the Goblin on, one-on-one, but after some time, his Eath's Peter jumped into action saving the Goblin's life just as her Peter threw the cure to Peter 1.
"You have to save him," Elli stated, "No matter what he's done, this is our mission," she urged as she watched this Peter nod as he placed the cure into Norman Osborne's neck.
Once all the villains were cured, they began to disappear from this Earth one by one causing the three Peter's to group together.
Elli jumped down to be near them but she gave them their space as she couldn't stop her mind from wondering what or who was waiting for them on their own Earth.
She attempted to keep her hopes at bay as she watched her Peter disappear while she felt herself begin to fade, returning to her own world.
