Experiment 224
Adapted from an RP.
Lilo ran downstairs with a DVD set in her hands, Stitch following after. "Come on, Nani! You promised!" She yelled upstairs.
Nani was in her bedroom getting ready for her date with David. She checked her watch as she put makeup on. "I don't know if I have time for this!" She shouted back.
"Please!" Lilo persisted, "One movie, no pausing! That way, you'll have time to meet David!"
Nani sighed, "Fine, but you make the popcorn!"
"Deal!" Agreed Lilo. She looked at Stitch and he nodded, rushing to the kitchen.
Behind a small hole in the wall of the living room, an experiment pod with the number 224 sat underneath a pipe. The house shook from an explosion caused in Jumba's room, which caused the pipe to crack and leak onto it. The pod glowed and a small, blue and yellow mouse-like creature appeared. It looked around in curiosity, brushed its ears, and emitted a hiccup-like squeak. Its ears perked up as it heard muffled voices all around it. It heard thudding nearby and saw a woman's foot by the hole. It peaked through, not wanting to be seen and watching the events.
"It's Frankenstein, right?" asked Nani, sitting on the couch next to Lilo, "How long is it?"
"70 minutes," she replied.
She looked at her watch. "I've got timeā¦" she muttered to herself.
Stitch came in with the popcorn and sat on the other side of Lilo. She turned on the TV and hit Play. With the lights out and the only glow coming from the screen, 224 quietly snuck out of the hole and made it to the foot of the couch. It looked up to be sure their attention was elsewhere, then it scurried over to where Nani and Lilo's feet were and carefully climbed up the couch, avoiding touching them as not to alert them to its presence. It climbed to the top and waited.
"Could you pass the popcorn?" Nani asked. Lilo handed it to her and 224 saw an opportunity. It secreted red saliva and drizzled it on some of the popcorn before Nani had some. She popped a handful in her mouth. Soon after she swallowed, she hiccuped, "Hic!" and shook the couch a bit, patted her chest. "Excuse me. Hiccup!"
"Hehe" Lilo laughed a little at that "Did you eat your popcorn a bit too fast?" She asked looking up at her big sister.
Nani chuckled, "It seems hic! so." She took a drink and hiccuped again, putting a hand over her mouth.
"Baah..." Stitch went over to the hiccupping lady's lap out of curiosity.
Stitch bounced up and down on her lap. He laid his head against her as she pet him. Her stomach pushed his head with each hiccup. "Hic! These are strong. Hic!" Nani commented, as she ate more popcorn.
As the movie continued, 224 watched and waited to see if it could target Lilo next. Lilo got up and came back with a can of soda and opened it. Before she poured it into the cup next to her, 224 already finished drizzling blue saliva into it. She poured some in and took a drink.
The mouse-like creature quickly pulled back and, soon after, Lilo let out a "HIC!" and a bubble came out her mouth.
"Woah..hic!" Nani exclaimed looking at what her little sister did.
"Hic! Cool..." said Lilo as she hiccuped another bubble. They watched it float over to Stitch before it popped.
"What's in hic! that soda? Hiccup!" asked Nani.
"Noth-ic! I've hic! ever heard hic! of" Lilo said, continuing to hiccup bubbles. Stitch raising up to paw at them.
"Do hic! you mind hic! if I hic! take a drink? Hic!" Nani asked. Lilo handed her the cup.
Nani drank some of the soda and waited. Her hiccups did indeed produce bubbles now, as well as being a little faster. "Hic!...hic!..hiccup!...hie-HUP!" The bubbles popped as they hovered to Lilo.
Lilo giggled and hiccuped six big bubbles. "Heehee! HICCUP! HICCUP! HICCUP!" She stood up and reached for them, popping most of them, with one absorbing her hand. She shook it around 'til it popped.
Nani rubbed her head. "Man, HIC!, this crazy s-Hic!-thuations like an HIC! old cartoon I hiccup! saw..."
"Was hic! it Snow hic! White? Hiccup!" Lilo asked, leaning against Nani.
"Yeah, hic! that's th-HIC! one," Nani said, smiling.
Soon however Jumba walked in. "Ah, what's going on here?"
"We got hic! a special hic! surprise with hic! our soda," said Lilo, hiccuping a big bubble before Jumba. She held out the soda can. "Don't know hic! what's in it hic! but I'll definitely be hic! having more."
"Hiccuping bubbles..." Jumba said all four of his eyes blinking in shock. "Don't you know you under the effects of an experiment?!"
"An exper-ee!-ment?" Nani's eyes grew wide. How did this not occur to her? "What's hic! going to happen hiccup! to us?"
He sighed, "Hopefully nothing major," Jumba pulled his arm down across his face. "You see, years ago I created this one that affects the diaphragm as a...glorious and strategic act of vengeance against enemy-"
"Oh you mean that ex you mentioned?" Another voice interrupted as Pleakly walked near.
"She said she'd be there by 9 and never showed up! No one disses Jumba!" Jumba defended. He cleared his throat.
"So, it's hic! a hiccup-making hiccup! experiment?" asked Lilo. "How hic! long do they hic! last?"
"Oh um...that can vary. Not even I gave her a proper limit...what's the usual length of cases you've had if you can remember?" Jumba pointed at the females asking.
"An ho-hic!-ur, though I hic! once had them hic! for my who-uk!-le hula class," said Lilo.
Nani sighed, "When I hic! get them, it's usuall-ee! on and off. Twenty minutes hic! at a hic! time."
Jumba tapped his fingers. "Well they could last that long for you two respectfully...or a day...or more..." He whispered that last part.
"Or HIC! more?!" Nani's hiccups seemed to get louder as she panicked, "I can't HIC! go to work HIC! like this!" Something occurred to her. "Oh, no! HIC! My date with David...HIC! I can't cancel HIC! again." A bubble floated before her. "What am HIC! I gonna do HIC! about these?!"
"Myrtle hic! already gives me hic! a hard time!" complained Lilo.
"Well you're lucky I have an antidote for this..." He rushed away to look through his house lab then came back downstairs. "Well um...It seems we'll have to catch this pest for me to cure you."
Nani sighed and ran her hand over her face. "Great...Hic! Do you hic! remember how? HICCUP!"
"Pff, that's Lilo's department now isn't it?" Jumba countered.
Lilo rubbed her chin in thought. "We did-hic!-n't see it so hic! it's very small. Hic! It's not like Poxy, hic! is it?"
"Oh no, not that small. 224 is similar to an earth mouse, very swift. I guess you're going to need my catchers..." He said going away to collect again.
Nani took the opportunity to go down and put a sorry hand on Lilo's shoulder. "Hic!...oh sorry, HIC!, I didn't know you h-ic!-ad...to go through HIC! this in Hula. HICCUP!"
Lilo sighed and looked at the ground, "I don't hic! get them hic! there often...once a hic! week. Hic! Whenever I hic! do, she mocks hic! me and calls hic! me Hiclo."
Jumba came back with some net guns. "You probably want more of an explanation of its abilities, it secretes a saliva that, when ingested, moves and sticks to the diaphragm. It also has color variations with different effects.''
"How man-ee! are there? Hic!" asked Lilo, "We hic! know one has a hic! bubble effect. Huck!"
"There's normal and two others. Let's just say I hope it doesn't get you with them," Jumba informed Lilo.
Nani checked her watch. "I hiccup! really need to hic! go. Good hiccup! luck." She said, as she headed out the door, hiccup bubbles trailing behind her the whole way to the restaurant. "Hiccup! Hiccup! Hiccup! Hiccup! Hiccup! Hiccup! Hiccup! Hiccup! Hiccup!" The sound grew faint as she got farther from the house.
"It's hic! probably still hic! in the house." Lilo cocked her net gun. "Hic! Stitch, you hic! check down here. Hic! I'll go upstairs. Hic!" Stitch nodded and went to the kitchen while Lilo went to her bedroom.
On the floor Stitch was sniffing about the walls looking for mouse holes, just in case he also punched some bigger holes in the walls to look inside. He heard faint hiccup-like squeaks and light scampering in the wall next to him. There was some scurrying about and Stitch could tell it was going up some piping.
Lilo lifted stuff around the bedroom cautiously. She heard scurrying near her position in the wall before it stopped suddenly. She saw Scrump, her doll, shift. "Hey! Hic!" She called out before leaping towards it. 224 darted out from behind Scrump before Lilo reached it. She shot the net gun but missed by centimeters as it went under her bed.
Lilo held tight to the gun and went to crawl under her bed. While it was dark, she could see it staring at her. Its fur bristled and she could see saliva dripping from its mouth, though she couldn't tell which color.
She backed up as it started to quickly scuttle towards her. Stitch managed to get up there in time and stood in the way as it shot out green saliva.
"Huckeek! Huckeek!" Stitch could feel himself inflating. Soon, he was the size of a beach ball.
"Oh HIC! no.." Lilo rolled around the ballooned Stitch, her concern for him ending up letting 224 escape.
"Hm, I wouldn't have thought my experiments were susceptible to such a pitiful ailment," Jumba lamented, going up to see the scene.
Lilo tried pushing down on Stitch to force the air out, to no avail. All that resulted was him bouncing a bit with another hiccup. "Hickeek!"
"Sorry, HIC!, Stitch," Lilo sighed.
"It's heek! okay," said Stitch. Other than being able to move his head and claws, he was immobile.
She rolled Stitch out of the room. "As HIC! long as it's HIC! in the house, HIC! we can ca-HIC!-tch it, tonight." 224 was under the couch when she said this and poked its head out to scan for an exit.
Meanwhile, David arrived at the outdoor restaurant to see bubbles floating around and spotted Nani a few tables down. She smiled and hiccuped another bubble before blushing.
"Never seen hiccups like those before. Did you eat soap or something?" He joked, as he sat down.
Nani laughed. "It's a HIC! long story. HICCUP!" She was embarrassed but knew there was no way to hide this. Even when her mouth was shut, the bubbles came out her nose. "Hyumph!"
"I'm guessing this is the work of one of Stitch's cousins?" He asked as he picked up the menu.
Nani nodded and hiccuped a larger bubble, which popped in front of David. "HICCUP! Sorry. HICCUP!" She picked up her menu and hid her face.
"It's okay. Now we have dinner and a show," he chuckled.
Nani laughed and got interrupted by another hiccup, with the bubble pushing against her menu. "I HIC! wanted to get HIC! rid of these hic! before tonight but hic! we couldn't find hic! it in time."
David lowered his menu a little and watched the bubbles float over Nani's menu. "HIC!...HIC!...HUCK!...HICCUP!"
He debated on whether or not to tell her. After a few minutes, he said, "You know, I'm glad you came over with hiccups."
Nani lowered her menu. "Hic! You like hic! my hiccups? HIC!"
Now David was blushing. "Yeah...I think they're...sexy?"
Nani smiled. "Hic! Wanna know hic! a secret? Hic!" David nodded. She lowered her voice. "I like hic! 'em, too."
David smiled back. "Really? I thought I was the only one who likes hiccups."
Nani laughed, "I'll show hic! you this forum hic! I'm a part of HICCUP! when we hic! get back."
The waiter appeared with a notepad in hand. "What will you be having tonight?"
"Actually, we'll take ours to go," said David, smiling at Nani.
"Of course," the waiter replied and they placed their orders and waited.
As they walked back to her house, Nani explained what happened before she left. Jumba said there were four saliva types that this experiment had but she only saw two.
"Think it's still at the house?" David asked.
"I hic! hope so. As hic! much fun as hic! these have been, hic! I can't hic! to go to work hic! like this." She admitted.
"I don't know. Everybody loves an employee with a bubbly personality," David joked.
Nani laughed and shook her head. As she turned the doorknob, she heard Lilo yell, "Nani, wait! HUCK!" Too late. The door opened and 224 scurried out the door, surprising David and Nani, as it ran past their feet.
"Sorr-ee!" Nani laughed, embarrassed.
"That must be the one you told me about," said David.
Nani saw Stitch inflated and unable to move. "The experiment?"
Lilo nodded. "Looks like hic! I'm on my hic! own."
Stitch growled and tried shifting himself, managing to roll a few centimeters. "Stitch, go. Huckeek!"
Lilo wagged her finger. "No, Stitch, hic! not in hic! your condition."
"Well, you won't find it, tonight," said David, "I'll stay over, if that's okay."
"Mmm...thanks David. HIC!" Nani leaned in to snuggle on his chest.
She shook against him and he embraced her, enjoying the spasms. Lilo gave them a weird look. She cleared her throat and asked, "Could HIC! we finish HIC! the movie?"
"Hmmm? HIC! Oh!" Nani pulled away. "Right! Heh...HIC!" They sat down in the living room and resumed Frankenstein.
The next morning, Lilo went outside to search for the escaped 224. As she searched nearby shrubbery, she thought about Nani and David's strange behavior. They seemed even closer than usual last night. Throughout the movie, she heard them whispering about something and the only thing she heard was the word hiccups. She sighed and smiled. Was it Nani's hiccups? If so, she was glad it brought them closer together.
It certainly brought her and Nani closer but for different reasons. They discovered they both had a love for hiccups by accident. Nani had a hiccup forum site up that Lilo stumbled upon because Nani forgot to close the tab and tried to make something up though she couldn't fool Lilo. Lilo remembered laughing and telling her it was okay because she liked hiccups, too.
For Lilo, hiccups were a source of amusement and, unlike Nani, who seemed very selective on who she felt comfortable getting hiccups in front of, Lilo saw no reason to hide it. She discovered she could give herself hiccups by drinking soda very fast. Sometimes, she'd go inside a nearby cave and listen to the echo. When no one was looking, she'd watch her stomach jump.
There was only one place she hated getting hiccups at: Hula Class. She sighed and looked inside the buggy to see if 224 was hiding in there. After a few minutes, she climbed out and headed to town.
As she continued to look around the neighborhood, she ended up running into a brown ponytail haired girl. It was Victoria, her only human friend. "Oh HIC! hi.." Lilo greeted.
"Hi, Lilo," she greeted, noticing the bubbles. "Did you eat soap or something?" Snooty, the bat-like experiment, was perched on her back, keeping watch.
"It's a HIC! long stor-EE!" Lilo replied. "What's HIC! with Snooty?"
Victoria shrugged. "Don't know. He's been this way since this morning. I wanted to go for a walk and he insisted on coming with me."
A bit of a worried thought then entered Lilo's mind. "You don't th-HI!-nk...he's alerted HIC! by someth-hee!-ing, do you?"
Victoria frowned. "That would explain his strange behavior..." She remembered something. "I was woken up last night when Snooty flew out of bed. I don't remember much else." Her eyes grew wide. "Do you think he found an intruder?"
Before Lilo could say anything she spotted something crawaling up behind Victoria's back.
"Look o-HIC!"
Victoria turned around to see 224. Snooty went after it too late, as it shot out yellow saliva before retreating. Victoria swallowed it and felt strange. She giggled as Snooty went after 224. "HUP! HEEHEE! HUP! Get 'em, HUP! buddy." She swayed a bit and Lilo caught her as she stumbled back.
"Victoria Hiek!, are you al-Hiccup!-right?" She asked, adjusting her woozy-looking friend.
"I'm ok-HUP! oka-HUP! I'm good." She giggled as she turned around and felt Lilo's face. "Heehee! Hup! Your fash hup! isz shoft."
"W-wa HIC! wait, are you drunk?" Lilo stretched her arms to back up a little but still held onto Vic. "At your HEEK! age, that's Hic! not right. Hip!"
Vic shook her head clumsily. "I'm not hup! Lilo, drunk. Hup! I'm...hup!...excentra...hup! exten...hup!...I'm loopy." She giggled and hiccuped, putting a hand over her mouth. Her hiccups still muffled through her hand. "Hmph...Humph...HMP...HUMPH!"
While Lilo enjoyed her friend's hiccups, she needed to continue her search but she couldn't leave her here. She needed to get her to safety. If Stitch weren't out of commission, he could bring her back to the house. She sighed and decided to leave the hunt to Snooty, for now.
"Hey, V-hic!-toria, wanna come hic! to my house?" Lilo asked, as she propped her arm over her shoulder. Victoria nodded with a dozy expression before emitting another hiccup.
Back at the house, the round Stitch was still laying on the floor hiccupping. He sighed. What was he to do? He looked around and tried shifting himself. He managed to move a little. The next hiccup caused him to bounce again and he got an idea. "Huckeek!" He pushed himself back down which caused him to bounce higher. "Huck!" He repeated it and this time he blew air, which pushed him forward. With repeated succession, he left the bedroom and entered the hallway. He bounced downstairs as the front door opened.
It was a pink experiment with a similar appearance to him, Angel. "Stiiitch? ~" She greeted, as she entered.
Stitch landed in front of her, standing up finally. "Hi, Ange-heek!" The next bounce knocked him on his back.
"Ohh?" Angel put a claw up to her chin in curiosity seeing what has befallen Stitch. After seeing him bounce with a few more hics, she then began to giggle amused.
"Cousin heek! did this," he explained, "Hiccup heek! powers." Stitch bounced and used his momentum to land on his feet again, only to bounce against Angel.
"EEE!" Angel squeaked out as the fattened Stitch landed on her. Thankfully she was reasonably strong so she was able to get out. She managed to lift Stitch on his back and crawled on it. "Ooh..." She seemed to say something akin to "Oh, poor you." Before kissing his lips to comfort him.
"HEEKUP!" Her eyes widened as she felt herself expanding. "Heekup! Heekup!" Her arms started thickening and her belly started ballooning. "Heek! Heek! Heekup! Heekup! Heekup!" Soon, she was as round as Stitch and rolled next to him. He couldn't help but chuckle a little before bouncing with another hiccup.
"Grrrr! HICCUP!" She tried to growl but was interrupted. Stitch managed to get close to snuggle up with Angel.
He felt her bounce a bit with each hiccup. "Hiccup! Hiccup!" Of course he was slightly bouncing with her. Lilo came in with her tipsy friend and laid her on the couch.
Victoria turned her head and watched the experiments bouncing near her. "Hup! Balloonies...hup!" She giggled.
Lilo spotted Angel next to Stitch. "What hic! happened?"
"Kiss," Stitch replied.
"It can hic! spread..." she muttered to herself as she grabbed a notepad and wrote down what she knew so far.
She knew what 224 looked like but how was she gonna find it? It could be anywhere on the island by now. True, Snooty was on the case but he might've lost it at this point. There had to be an easier way to find it. Her eyes grew wide and she smacked her forehead. Experiment 158, Finder. Why didn't she think of this before?
"I'll hic!-fully be able to HEEK!, fix you, all of us soon" Lilo told the two. Rubbing Stitch and Angels bellies.
Lilo ran for the beach to contact Finder. When she got there, he was giving a couple their lost keys. He turned to her and waved.
"Finder, hic! I need your hic! help. Can you hic! find...a blue and hic! yellow mouse hic! experiment? Hic! It gives people hic! hiccups. Number 224." Finder nodded and started sniffing. It found a trail and took off, with Lilo not far behind.
While she was looking Lilo began to wonder about what to do with 224 if she caught her. The other experiments all managed to find a new good purpose, some more obvious than others with their powers. But this one's was so...niche?
Her red saliva wouldn't be much use outside of its original purpose, she wasn't sure what she could do with the green saliva unless she met people who liked the idea of expanding, the yellow saliva could be used for those who wanted a quick buzz though they might not want hiccups to go with it, and the blue saliva...what could she do with that?
As she followed Finder, Pleakly started coming from the opposite side of the path, holding a bottle of bubble bath and looking frustrated. She told Finder to stop for a moment and asked, "What's hiccup! up?"
Pleakly sighed and said, "This formula is terrible. It's supposed to sud up faster than the previous brand."
"And hic! it doesn't do hic! it faster?" she asked.
"It doesn't do it at all," he groaned, "I'm going back for a refund."
That gave Lilo some inspiration but then it seemed Finder...well found something interesting. There appeared to be a gathering at the beach for a small outdoor band.
Lilo and Finder went over to see what was up. "Who's hic! playing?" She asked a nearby patron.
The man turned around and looked down to see her. "It's Weird Al. He's doing some polka covers today."
While Lilo knew she had to find where 224 went, she always enjoyed his music. It couldn't hurt to listen to Al for a while. She worked her way through the crowd to get a better look and saw they were ready.
"Polka style polka POLKA HAHA!" Lilo could hear the parody musician exclaim before playing one of his hits. However soon after though came a small shriek as the mouse experiment hidden amongst the crowd came out standing up with little paws over its ears.
Lilo heard the shrieks and spotted 224 as she staggered away. She shoved her way through the crowd and prepped the net gun. "Finder, hic! don't let her hic! get away!" Finder nodded and went to restrain the rogue experiment.
224 noticed something chasing her and ran away, though the polka from before left her a little weakened. Lilo watched as 224 and Finder disappeared into the nearby trees and ran after them.
"Man, a lot of interesting people come to Hawaii," She thought while chasing before brushing that aside. Deeper in the woods she found Finder wrestling with 224.
They tumbled around as Finder tried to grapple 224. At one point, she used her tail like a whip and got him in the face. Finder yelped and pounced on 224 before she got too far. Lilo aimed the net gun and waited for her chance as the two fought.
Seeing a chance Lilo decided to risk it "Mm, HIC! Jump now HIC!" She called to finder as she fired the net gun.
Finder jumped up and 224 was caught. She screeched as she fought inside, trying to break out. The noise started to die down and the struggling finally stopped.
"All right! HICCUP! We got you! Hic!" cheered Lilo and she went over to pick up the balled-up net.
"Heekeek..." 224 squeaked, weakly.
"Hmmm...hiccup! Considering your hic! powers and that hic! sound, I think I'll hic! call you...Hicca." She turned to Finder and shook his front paw. "Thanks hic! for the help. Hiccup!" Finder smiled and headed back to the beach. Lilo made her way back as well. However, as she was passing the Hula school, Myrtle and her cronies appeared.
"Ugh Lilo, still going to adopt what ever weird animals you find huh?" Myrtle leaned in mocking with her hands on her hips.
"Not hic! now, Myrtle. Hic!" Lilo glared, though it was hard for Myrtle to take her seriously with her bubbles floating around. "She's hic! going to hic! help my friends. Hiccup!" Myrtle smirked as she and her minions got closer.
"Oh wow, you've really outdone yourself now, Hiclo," She noted the bubbles, her group of girls laughing at that. Lilo decided to run from her and noticed her sis was nearby.
"You caught hic! it." Nani smiled, noticing the balled-up net. She frowned when she saw Lilo looked distressed. "Did hic! something happen? Hiccup!"
"Myrtle HIC!-gain..." Lilo grumbled before holding up her finding. "But Heek!, I can make a Hic!-cure now."
Nani patted Lilo's head and they both hiccuped, simultaneously. They laughed and headed back to the house. When they got there, they saw Angel and Stitch rolling around the living room. Victoria stood by a makeshift finish line made of paper towels, with a small red flag in her hand. Stitch passed Angel at the last second, with Vic waving the flag and nearly falling over.
"The hup! winner is hup! Stitch! Hipup!" She cheered and threw some confetti in his direction.
"Yaa-HUPEEK!-y!" Stitch cheered.
"This is Hick! all pretty rid-HiC!-ulous " Nani commented.
Jumba came in. "Ah, give me 224, so I can synthesize an antidote." Lilo handed Hicca to him and he carried her upstairs.
"Whaddya hup! say, guys? One more hipup! race?" slurred Vic. Angel and Stitch nodded and they rolled into position. Before the next race started, Vic turned to Nani and Lilo. "Place you hic! bets! Two quar-hichup!-ters for Angel, three for hup! Stitch! Wi-hic!-nner take all! HUP!"
"Ah Hic! why do you ha-IC! have to make me HIC! choose?" Lilo said worriedly.
"Hm, I'll Hiccup! pick Angel then HUP!" Nani said and crossed her arms.
"Okay," Lilo nodded, "I'll pick Stitch." The girls gave Vic their quarters.
"Excell-hic! choices, ladies," she smiled and staggered over to the starting line. "3...2...HUP!" she waved the flag and the experiments took off.
They circled around the couch, with Angel dodging the lamp. Stitch's next hiccup caused him to bounce next to Angel, as she ran over some legos.
"OOOO! That's hup! gotta hurt!" crowed Victoria, acting as the commentator.
"Go, Stitch! Hic!" cheered Lilo.
"Hic! Go, Angel!" cheered Nani.
"And Stitch's hup! catching up! Hiccup! Angel is falling behind! Hup! Could he be...what's this?! Hup!" Vic tossed a beanbag chair onto the track. "A drunken hup! bystander has wandered hup! into the path!"
"Heyy Hicy! you can't hic! do that!" Lilo exclaimed. Angel crashed into the bean bag. Stitch kept trying to leap and then ended up jumping on Vic.
Stitch lay on top of her, as she struggled to get up. "Well, hup! that didn't go as hup! planned..." she chuckled. "Um...hup!...a little help? Hup!"
Lilo pulled Victoria out and she managed to stand up. "Hey I have it!" Jumba came back into the room with some vials.
"I'll go hic! first," offered Lilo. She gulped it down and they waited. Lilo hiccuped one last bubble before they stopped. "Hiccup!" Lilo smiled. "It works." The others drank their vials and soon the effects started to show.
Vic's tipsiness started to fade but her head started to hurt. "Whoaaa...anybody got Tylenol?"
"So, what you plan on doing with 224?" Jumba asked Lilo, being on to her methods by now.
Lilo thought for a moment and remembered something. "I've been thinking about that for a while. Considering Hicca's unusual powers, I was having trouble figuring that out, myself. However, thanks to Pleakly, I know the perfect place." She picked up a collection of coupons on the table next to her and pointed at a bottle of bubble bath. "The Lather Up Company is having issues with their new bubble bath formula. It won't bubble up. Luckily, we know someone who can provide them what they need."
Soon enough the now dubbed Hicca was put to work creating beautiful bubbles for Lather Up. "Though there's one more thing you can do for me," Lilo said. She ended up coming to Mertyle again.
"No more hiccups, Hiclo? Or maybe Dopey would suit you better?" Myrtle laughed, her minions followed suit.
"Listen you're right...you're a better hula dancer then me, I'm a weirdo girl" Lilo claimed. "So, I want to offer you this tasty drink."
Myrtle grabbed the bottle Lilo was holding out and opened it up, smirking. "Well, I'm glad you finally admit it. To my future." She gulped it down and Lilo couldn't suppress a devious smile as she watched her drain it. "Hmmm...blackberry. Huck!" Myrtle and the other girls watched as a big bubble floated before them. "What the? Huckup! Huckup! Huckup!" She started hiccuping bubbles uncontrollably and she glared at Lilo.
"At least they're pretty," Lilo chuckled.
Lilo started to walk away and gave a paw bump to Hicca who came out from hiding in her clothing. "Hey Huck! get back he-hup!-ere.. you can't HUCKUP! do this to MHEEK!...HEKUP!"
"Get comfortable, those'll last a while!" Lilo shouted back to her. She listened to Myrtle hiccup and scream as she got farther away until she could barely hear anything.
As they walked home, Lilo asked, "Don't suppose you could get us a discount for the new bubble bath formula?" Hicca gave a nod at that.
