All was alarmingly quiet as the ice-lagomorphs plus Sam and Nova approached Lagomorphus-9. Lagomorph men, women and children all had roles to play in the invasion of Lagomorphus-9, and they all played their parts quite well, commandeering their silver, whale-sized, battle-ready starships, armed to the gills with lasers, shields, and even missiles.

"APROACHING ENEMY TERRITORY!" Aspen hollered from the intercom to every other ship including the Desoto. "Activate shields!"

"SHIELDS ACTIVATED!" Nova called, flipping a newly-installed switch which formed a blue, impenetrable forcefield over the Desoto, as well as every other ship. She faced Sam, who was staring dead ahead at the rabbit-shaped planet. "You're not worried or nervous?"

"Nah." Sam replied, smiling then turning back for dramatic effect. "There's more than one way to skin a rabbit..."

"LORD LAPIN!!" Chief Minister Conejo hollered yet again.

Conejo ran through the halls of the palace at lightning-speed, knocking over a number of lagomorphs (and even accidentally knocking one into the palace's incinerator).

"WHAT IS IT NOW?!" Lapin exclaimed over the camera.

"Quick, go to commercial!" Another lagomorph alien exclaimed, the cameraman switching the channel to some commercial with an octopus-like alien woman.

"M-my LORD!" Conejo exclaimed before being STRANGLED by Lapin's left hand, the alien lord gripping tightly. "I…do not mean to alarm you but…they've returned!" He squeaked.

"They...WHAT?!" Lapin roared.

Lapin dropped Conejo before he could say a single word and ran outside to view a a telescope outside the Lagomorphus-9 palace. Sure enough, the Desoto Adventurer had returned, along with a battalion of interplanetary war ships.

The ships all armed their lasers and fired directly at Lapin's battle-drones, wiping out thousands of them with just a few heavily-powered blasts.

Lapin was somewhat frightened now, for he knew that this time Sam and Nova meant business.

"READY THE LASERS!!" Lord Lapin shouted at the top of his lungs.

The lasers from some massive cannon ports opened up from within some of the palace's turrets, manned by lagomorph soldiers. They fired at the Desoto, but luckily Sam was able to commandeer the vessel and drive it STRAIGHT into the palace.

(*KATHOOOM!*)

What was once gorgeous polished marble now became rubble after the spaceship broke through the side of the grand entrance's wall.

"LAPIN!" Sam exclaimed, opening up the Desoto and emerging along with Nova. Aspen opened up the door to his ship as well, along with a few ice lagomorph guards for protection. "Unhand my little buddy or I'll BURN THIS PLACE TO THE GROUND!"

"You and what army, earthican?" Lapin chuckled. "I've got a million battle-drones at my disposal, and more get made every single day.."

"Pssh, "What army", I mean, you're SERIOUSLY gonna go with a cliché line like that?" Sam asked, bringing much of the tension to a screeching halt. "Did you not even see the huge spaceships out there still wrecking your planet?"

"Well, I--" Lapin began to speak.

Lapin, Nova, Sam and Aspen gazed up into the skies to find a comet-like thing approaching the ground rapidly.

"Wait, is that?!" Nova exclaimed, utterly shocked and surprised at the sight.

It was in fact, Nova's brother, Gordon. He did a flip mid-air and perfectly touched down on the planet, reloading his laser-gun.

"—GORDON'S ALIIIIIVE?!" Lord Lapin exclaimed in disbelief.

"JUMPIN' CLEOPATRA'S FALSE EYELASHES!" Sam exclaimed. "Surely there's some reason explaining as to why he's alive after floating aimlessly through the oxygen-less darkness of space we don't care about to mention!"

"--Who were you saved by?" Nova asked Gordon, noticing the strange figure hovering in the distance.

The strange figure touched down on earth, clad in a red and black jumpsuit. It shook its rabbity ears in the air to reveal none other than--

"MAX!

AH-AHHHH!!" A random rock and roll band just out of the camera's view exclaimed. "—SAVIOR OF THE UNIVERSE!"
