Hey y'all! I'm really happy with this one! Gifting to Nyoschief (AO3) because after talking to them about the fic they're working on, I was inspired by their puppy Eren when creating this one. I hope you like it, Ashie!
The ocean glittered invitingly under the rising sun, seagulls screaming as they awoke to find fresh food. Levi enjoyed these kinds of mornings. No mud to stick to his wheels or sink into, under a calm orange sky. Hell knows all he wants is a little peace from the turbulence that is the world around him. Levi felt the gentle sea breeze blowing against his face as he hurriedly wheeled his wheelchair down the worn dirt path with one hand. His other hand was occupied with a steaming mug of tea that he was desperately trying to keep steady while getting down the path as quickly as possible. The right wheel kept jamming on the small bumps, causing Levi to curse under his breath every time he swerved slightly off the path, quickly growing agitated at his inability to walk for too long. The book sitting precariously on his lap fell to the ground, sitting just outside his reach. Levi sat back and sighed, glaring up at the sky before looking at the beach, wondering if he was already there.
"Mr. Ackerman? Do you need help?" A feminine called out. He looked over his shoulder with his one good eye to see Gabi in the doorway, bleary-eyed but still ready to help. She still wore her plaid sleeping gown, no doubt having heard him cursing at his hot water this morning for not boiling fast enough and decided to check it out. Her brown hair was wild in her face, not up in the signature short ponytail she usually sported. She yawned but as soon as she saw the book on the ground, she rushed out to grab it before he could stop her. Too helpful for her own good.
"I'm fine." He murmured, holding a hand out for the book but Gabi was too busy reading the cover. Goddammit. She hesitated, mouth opening and closing a few times before she looked at him fiddling with his dark shirt.
"… Mr. Ackerman? Why do you have a baby name book?" Levi just kept looking at his lap, hand flexing minutely. He remained quiet, a light blush warming his cheeks that he refused to acknowledge. Gabi looked at him for a few moments but eventually gave up, tucking the book beside his leg so it wouldn't fall again.
"Thanks." He said quietly, knowing she heard him. She tutted and took her position behind him, pushing his chair down the small dirt path.
"You get weirder by the day. I'd think you had a mistress if I wasn't here so often and I didn't know you." She laughed, brown eyes glowing in the warm light of the sunrise. Levi grunted, unwilling to even dignify that with a response. After all, how does one even explain his situation? They moved swiftly, Gabi learning early on in her care for him that when he wanted to go somewhere he wanted to get there quickly. They passed through his garden and went down the small hill to the docks. The ocean was a mix of blue and orange, the sun coloring the waters with a warm glow. The long docks sat beside a large grouping of rocks, something he heard Hange refer to as a breakwater, which was dumb since how the fuck does a rock 'break' water? The dock was a private one, given to him after the war so that he could employ ships if he wished to send letters to friends still residing in Marley. He thought it was dumb, why hire a whole ass ship when he could just give it to a merchant ship already headed there? However, it was nice to have a spot he could go to look at the sea without being covered in sand. Especially since it was wheelchair accessible, unlike most places in town. She pushed him through the small portion of the beach before the clank of the wheels going over each board could be heard. She quickly wheeled him to the end of the dock, stopping to make sure that the wheel locks were in place.
"Do you need me to come to get you later?" She asked. Levi shook his head, black and silver hair shaking with the movement.
"No, go home. Tell Falco to come by tomorrow morning to tend to the garden. The tulips are looking a little frail." He said. She nodded and briefly squeezed his shoulder.
"Alrighty, see ya later." She walked down the boards quickly, no doubt excited for some time off. Levi waited until he saw her go over the hill before placing his tea down and taking off his black loafers, placing them neatly beside the chair before standing slowly. His legs shook for a moment as he stood, but thankfully the physical therapy has done wonders for his stamina. He grabbed his tea and book before briskly walking to the edge and slowly sitting down, legs dangling off the edge and into the water below. He hissed at the cold but quickly acclimated. He scanned the water, but at no sign of his… friend, he decided to look at the book. It was the only baby name book he could find in the bookstore, or at least the only one he could find before Hange got there. If they saw it he would have never heard the end of it. Popular Baby Names for Boys and Girls written by Tolga Aydin. He had seen it while looking around in the Middle East Alliance section and decided that it wouldn't hurt to grab it.
He flipped idly through the first part, not really caring about names for girls. As he was reading some of the origins and meanings of names that stood out to him, a sudden squeal filled the air. His heart stuttered in his chest as suddenly an extremely enthusiastic brat was grabbing his legs, hugging them tightly as he squeaked and clicked at him passionately. Levi felt his lips pulling up, chest warm at the beautiful and excited smile. The brat was gorgeous with a long tan face, and beautiful long brown hair that fell below his shoulders. Shining whirlpools of green and blue seemed to pull Levi deeper and deeper every time he looked into them, the passion and life he had inside making them sparkle. His plump pink lips were pulled into a wide smile that showed off his sharp white teeth. My gorgeous sea brat. But what made him so peculiar, so special, was his lower half. Below the dark water the brat had no legs, but rather a long green tail. Levi had spent many days simply studying the massive thing, wondering if one day it would suddenly disappear and prove once and for all that the explosion that took his fingers and eye also took his mind with it, but no such thing happened.
When he first saw the brat, he assumed that he was some kid spying on him. The beach at his house was considered private, so he didn't often deal with people wanting to spend time there. The brat disappeared for a day or so after but eventually returned. The little shit came right up to him, wide, curious eyes staring at him with an emotion Levi had never seen directed at him before.
Love.
The kid was an open book, and when Lev invited him to sit on the dock he obliged. Levi just hadn't been expecting to see the kid was half fish. They sat like that for a while. Levi trying to process what the fuck was happening and the kid just making odd noises, non-human noises, at him. Eventually, he left and so did Levi. He immediately went to the town library and looked up anything he could find about a fishman. He found nothing at first, but he asked a merchant next to his boat and he had told him about creatures known as mermaids. It was exactly as he saw, a beautiful half-human half-fish. He had also been warned of Sirens, that their beauty was a lure to kill their victim. However, despite his earlier suspicions that the merbrat was simply too pretty to not be a siren, he never made a move to hurt Levi.
The kid was super affectionate and playful, and for some unknown reason extremely obsessed with Levi. Every day Levi went to the dock to enjoy his tea and a book to the sound of waves. Every day the mermaid joined him, doing tricks and making noises at him until Levi talked to him. For the last few weeks, Levi had grown to long for him whenever they parted ways for the day. Whenever he saw something in town and wondered how the mermaid would react to it. Would he scrunch his face up in distaste like when he tried a lemon, or make cute purrs when Levi brought him some bread? He found that no matter what he did, he thought of him. Oh how I wish I could just pick him up and put him in my bathtub.
The brat chirped when Levi didn't respond, placing his head dangerously close to his crotch and looking up into his grey eye.
"Hello, brat." The brunet trilled at his voice, cheeks colored red as he rubbed them sweetly into Levi's now wet pants. Levi let out an exaggerated sigh and took a sip of tea.
"Tch, so noisy this early?" He tutted, smirking at the low whistle he let out. The brat stared at his eyes before not so subtly shifting them to Levi's hand, meaningfully looking back at his face and then his hand again. Levi huffed and gently placed his hand not holding his tea into his hair. The reaction was immediate, he could feel the way all tension completely left the brat's body, his head flopping comically into the little space in between his thighs as he let out a deep purr. The three fingers he had seemed to do the job as he began to gently massage his head, letting a smile pull at his lips.
"You're spoiled, you know that right?" The brunet let out a small 'mrrp' and pulled himself further into his lap. Levi chuckled at the cute behavior and placed his tea down to trade for the book. As he was thumbing through the book to get to the boy's section, the mermaid made displeased chuff, butting his head against the human's leg to demand more head massaging.
"Give me a minute you shit. I need two hands for this." He explained. He huffed but stopped whining as Levi adjusted the book in his hand and resumed massaging his head.
"So let's see, I gotta give ya a name, I'm tired of referring to you as merbrat and brat." He received a low purr in response, but he wasn't shocked considering he was rubbing the spot directly behind his ear, one of his most notable weak spots. He started reading off some names to see what would stick, but quickly realized that the little shit wasn't even listening, too content with the ear rubs to even try and comprehend the words coming out of his mouth. He stopped the circular motions and instead flicked his forehead, earning a small whimper.
"Oi, I'm trying to give you a name here. I need to know what you like or don't like." Levi admonished. The brunet perked up making a few odd noises, including one Levi recognized as the mers name. A low click followed by a dipping whistle. Sadly, their different anatomies included vocal cords. The brunet could make a couple of somewhat human sounds, and Levi could click his tongue, but not in a way that would lead to a productive conversation on either side. He at least taught Levi his name in his own tongue, as well as how to say a few words. The mer was able to understand Levi for the most part, he hadn't known many words at first but now he probably understood most of what he was saying if not the intention.
"I know you already have one, but I can't say it. I need one in my language, just like you have mine in yours now." Levi reminded him. The mer was confused for a moment, head tilted as he stared into the human's face before understanding dawned on his face. He happily whistled then made a small rumble noise. His name in the mermaid's tongue. Levi nodded as the mer continued to repeat his name over and over, smile growing bigger with each one.
"Alright alright, I get it. I have a book of names, so I'll just read them out and you just shake your head yes if you like it. Understand?" The brunet nodded, looking at the book with curiosity in his eyes. With a warble, he moved to sit beside him on the dock, leaning heavily against his side with his head resting on his shoulder. Levi cringed at how wet his shirt and pants were becoming, but after all this time he was starting to get used to it. Or at least not yell at the mer for it.
"Alp. Altan. Anil. Aslan. Ayiz. Bahadir. Beren. Berk. Boran. Bul… Bo… what the fuck are those dots? Whatever you're not choosing that one." He complained, skipping all the names with any fancy marks over them. He kept going through them, only stopping when his mermaid made a weird squeak sound. The brunet held his hand out and made a circular motion, a hand sign they decided would mean 'say that again'.
"Eren?" More circular motions. "Eren. Eren. Eren. You like that one?" He asked, enjoying the way it rolled off his tongue. The mer nodded but suddenly looked shy, looking down at the human through his lashes, poking him in the chest with a questioning trill.
"Yes, I like it as well. Eren suits you. It means saint or holy person." Levi explained and the mer, now known as Eren, looked at him questioningly. "Ah, a saint is someone who is virtuous and holy." More confusion. He sighed.
"A good boy." Eren knew that phrase well. He squealed in delight, hugging close to Levi with his arms, tail splashing wildly in the water. Fuck, he is so cute.
Once Eren got control over himself, he practically begged him to say his name again, and again, and again. Levi couldn't help the smile on his face either as he did, Eren's enthusiasm infectious as he cooed every time he said his new name. Eren's tail soon ended up wrapped around Levi's leg, the odd scaled sensation sending shivers down his spine.
"Alright brat. What have you been up to? Catch any good fish?" He asked. He may not be able to understand his speech, but the way his eyes lit up and his little noises and hand movements as he re-enacted something was frankly adorable. If Levi spent a little more time looking at his chest then Eren didn't comment on it. Or maybe he did amidst his clicks and whistles that Levi simply didn't know. However, Eren suddenly went still as if remembering something. Before Levi could react Eren dove back into the water, tail disappearing behind him.
"Eren?" Levi called out, a little worried at the sudden departure. Thankfully Eren returned rather quickly, holding his hands out to Levi.
"What?" He asked, already slipping his own hands into Eren's bigger, softer ones. It was moments like these that he felt the most subconscious. Eren was the embodiment of the beauty and joy of youth. Whereas Levi was old, broken, and disfigured. His legs were weak, and his fingers missing on his hand. Scars marked his face and body. How anyone could look at him like Eren did, as if he was the best thing ever given to him, was beyond him. Eren squeezed his hands gently as if understanding where Levi's mind went. He pulled the disfigured hand a little closer, eyes on Levi's as he brushed his cheek against it. All the air left him at the sight, a twinge of pain in his heart. Eren. Eren smiled and chirped, pulling both hands slightly this time much to Levi's surprise.
"Eren… are you… do you want me in the water?" Eren nodded a long whistle followed by a rumble his response. His name. Levi sighed and slowly lowered himself into the water while Eren circled him with excited chirps.
"It's fucking cold. I don't know how you live in this shit." He complained half-heartedly, unable to be too unhappy when Eren's chest met his back and strong arms wrapped around him. Levi didn't bother trying to float, trusting Eren to hold him above the surface. Eren's tail lazily bumped his legs with every thrust to keep them steady. Eren himself was happily nuzzling into Levi's cheek while Eren tried his hardest to keep a straight face. This merbrat is so fucking cute. And hot. Fuck. What I wouldn't give to be held in these arms every day. When Levi would swim with Eren he often let Eren do as he pleased. Levi himself hadn't really knew how to swim until they left the walls, all the brats in his squad gushed about how fun it was to swim in the newly discovered ocean. He tried to learn on his own, but until Eren came he had no one to really guide him. Eren had been insistent on him joining him in the water after a week of knowing him, and when it became obvious that Levi hadn't known how to swim, Eren made sure to guide him and never let him go. It was nice, knowing that no matter what Eren would always b there to bring him to the surface.
After a few moments of snuggling Eren turned Levi in the water until he was facing him. He clicked his tongue into a low whistle, moving Levi's arms until they were wrapped around his neck.
"Eren?" Eren whistled, adjusting his own hands on Levi's hips with a happy smile. Once Eren had his hands where he wanted, they began to spin, slowly at first but soon Eren began to pick up speed.
"What are you doing?" A long high pitched whistle followed by two clicks. Humans.
"Humans?" Eren nodded and moved one hand from his waist to mime out a boat on the water.
"You saw humans on the boat?" Another nod, exaggerating a spin and pulling Levi closer. Levi wasn't the smartest man, but being with Eren has helped him with subtle cues and context.
"You saw humans spinning? Were they dancing?" Levi asked. Eren tilted his head at the word, warbling out a question.
"Dancing. To dance. It's something people do when they hear music. It can be happy or sad, it's a way to express emotion. We move our bodies, and when we like someone we tend to dance with them." Levi explained, heart beating fast at the thought that maybe Eren is trying to slow dance with him. Eren listened closely to his words, studying his expression and looking down at his chest. He pointed at Levi's body and spun again, clearly deciding his word for dance was to spin.
"Do I dance? Not very much, dancing usually requires your legs and mine are… not very strong anymore. There are many types of dancing too, what you saw is probably a slow dance. Did they stand really close like us and sway back and forth?" Eren nodded.
"Slow dancing is something couples do most of the time. The man takes the lead and it's a way to be close to one another. It's a little hard where I can't stand but let me show you." Levi took his hands away from Eren's neck, shushing Eren's confused warble softly and taking one of Eren's hands in his.
"I'm gonna push you out a bit and twirl you, then bring you back in. Like this." He twirled in place with his arm up, showing Eren what he was about to do. Eren seemed puzzled but as always, eager to try out new things. Levi brought him close and they slowly spun together.
"Alright, now twirl." Levi murmured, bringing Eren out to spin him. Eren did so happily, looking so beautiful as his hair moved around him. Levi brought him back smiling when Eren chittered at him.
"Good boy." Levi's heart melted at the shy look on Eren's face. Always so eager to please him, so happy in the world. Levi wanted to protect that innocence. They stayed like that for a while. Dancing in the water and twirling each other before it got too cold for Levi. Eren was flush with happiness, practically glowing from their impromptu dancing lesson. They sunbathed for a few hours, Levi to dry off and Eren to cuddle with him. Falling in out of sleep with Eren warm by his side was the best way to spend his day.
By noon they took a break to get food, Eren to hunt for his while Levi went back to the house to make something. He settled for a pb&j, making a tuna sandwich as well for Eren. He brought some fruits he wanted to see Eren try as well as some lemonade. He ate his food quietly on the dock to wait for Eren, ruffling Eren's hair when he eventually came back.
He squeaked and barked, holding up a giant fish proudly and placing it on the dock.
"Damn Eren, great catch." Eren beamed with pride, pulling out another smaller fish. He pointed at the large one and nudged it towards Levi with a low warble.
"For me?" He nodded, quickly digging into his fish. It seemed Eren had the same idea as Levi, sharing their food with the other. What a cute brat. My cute brat. Once Eren was done his fish Levi offered him the sandwich, Eren happily accepted and dug into it. He loved it. Levi could only chuckle as Eren preceded to shove it down his throat, patting his head as he whined for more.
"Glutton. You probably only hang around me to get more food." Levi joked, startled at the way Eren immediately shot up and shook his head, whines spilling out of him. Eren scooted closer and wrapped his arms around his waist, looking at him with desperate eyes from his lap. Ba dum. Ba dum.
"Tch, I was only joking brat." He murmured, hand carding through Eren's soft hair. Eren warbled out a low note, eyes moving over to stare off into the horizon. It was moments like that that made Levi wish most of all that Eren could talk to him. Seeing that sad look on his face, the way the glow of his eyes seemed to dim. He thought that maybe, Eren wished he could too. Most of all though, Levi wanted that sad look off his face. They'd known each other for only a few weeks now, but Levi knew that he'd do anything for him. This warmth in his chest, his constant longing for something they could never have, it hurt. It hurt like a bitch that after all these years alone, he finally found someone that he wanted, but couldn't have. The happy mood dissipated, leaving only the bitter taste of acceptance. Eren shifted in his lap, facing him with a small sad smile on his lips. Eren knew what he was thinking, he always knew. He understood Levi in ways no one else did. He understood and stayed. It was the greatest gift Levi could ask for.
He cupped Eren's cheek, a small smile pulling at his lips. Eren smiled back, hand coming up to hold Levi's scarred one there. Levi's heart pounded, his only focus on the beautiful man below him.
"Eren." He murmured, licking his suddenly dry lips. He had to say it, he had to tell him. He needed to know just how happy he made Levi. His life had been peaceful, but dull. He was alive simply because he was, he wasn't living. He had no dream, but now he had one.
To be with Eren.
Eren cooed beneath him, green eyes sparkling in the sunlight.
He needed to say it. His heart would burst if he kept it inside.
"I love you." Time stilled around him, watching in awe at the emotions that swept across his merbrat's face. Curiosity, shock, delight, then sadness. A small whine escaped his throat, eyes blinking rapidly as tears started to form in his eyes.
"Eren?" Levi murmured, wiping away the tears as they began to fall down Eren's tan cheeks. He whistled out Levi's name, arms reaching up to circle his neck and bring him down. Levi went willingly, holding Eren close as he nuzzled into Levi's collarbone with soft sniffles. After a few minutes Eren calmed down more, pulling away and turning over to face him properly. He crooned and pointed to his chest before slowly pointing that hand at Levi's heart. Levi smiled, a true smile.
"You love me?" Eren nodded rapidly, quickly moving forward to hug him again. His chitters and squeaks soothed him, the pain in his heart subsiding, there was no room for anything but the affection he had for him.
"I love you. I can't imagine my life without you in it anymore." Levi admitted, petting Eren's hair as the boy whimpered into his neck. He felt lighter now, his happiness tangible at being accepted by the person he cared most about. But there was one thing he still wanted to do. He pulled away, shushing Eren as he whined at the loss of contact.
"Eren, I want to show you something."
Eren warbled out his understanding, searching his face and wiping away any stray tears.
"When people love each other, there are certain things they do to show they love each other. Dancing is one of them. However, there is something I want to do with you." Levi started, chuckling when Eren immediately began to chirp his excitement. He put a hand on Eren's cheek, thumb stroking the soft flesh.
"Have you heard of a kiss?" Eren shook his head.
"It's when we put our lips together and feel the other one. Just do as I do ok?" Levi explained and Eren nodded, watching as Levi leaned closer, connecting their lips. Levi held back a groan, the warm soft lips moving tentatively against his. Eren pulled him closer, arms around his neck as Levi moved slowly against him. It didn't take long for Eren to get the hang of it, only pulling back to gasp for air as Levi preceded to kiss anywhere he could, his cheek, his chin, his nose, his forehead. All were kissable, and when Eren finally got the oxygen his lungs required he would pull Levi right back to his lips.
Levi was content to stay there forever, to worship Eren like he deserved when a rush of water went past his legs. He assumed the tide came in and a wave had simply splashed onto them, but when he opened his eyes he gasped. Eren was glowing. Like a firefly in the summer evening, his love was radiating golden light.
"Eren?!" Levi called out, trying to look into his eyes but the light was so bright he had to close his own. Then it stopped. The red light behind his eyelids shifted to black, and he quickly looked at Eren. He was fine, looking at his hands in confusion and back at Levi. He made an odd sound, one Levi had never heard before, and the confusion on his face told him that he hadn't meant to either.
"What was that?! Why were you glo-" Levi began to question, looking over Eren's body but when he got to his lower half, his jaw dropped. Two strong legs were attached to him. Eren had legs. Eren has legs. Eren looked down and gasped at the sight, eyes watering as he stared at the new appendages.
"Aaok! Kriiaa!" Eren spoke, his usual sounds seemingly getting caught in his throat. In fact, they kinda sounded human.
"Eren! You're human!"
"Aiommk! Krek!" Eren shouted, one hand on his throat and the other on his leg. How did this happen?! Did he know? Levi watched as Eren went from elation to sorrow to confusion to fear and right back around again, his emotions clear in his eyes. He couldn't have known. Eren touched his knees, eyes watering until the first of many tears fell.
"Eren, shh, it's ok." Levi consoled him, pulling him close by the shoulders. Eren came willingly, body leaning heavily into his.
"I don't… I don't know what's going on but it's ok. I'll take care of you, alright? You come live with me and we'll figure this out." Levi soothed and Eren nodded, sniffling a little and looking at Levi.
"Erkle." He said, rubbing at his eyes and twitching a leg. Levi chuckles at that, kissing Eren's nose.
"We'll work on that."
Levi had taken Eren home that day and proceeded to teach his brat how to be human. Eren was sad at first, missing his tail and the water, but while he missed those things he was at his happiest with Levi. Levi taught him how to walk, talk, and dress like a person. Eren knew the words, he just needed to learn how to make human sounds with his new throat.
With his new ability to communicate, Levi learned so many new things about his lover.
He loved animals, begging Levi to see the 'moo moo' when they went to town and passed a dairy farm. He loved cats, dogs, horses, anything that moved was on his list. Levi nearly had a heart attack when Eren had walked right up to a raccoon, worried that it would bite him. It didn't for some reason and allowed the strange human to pet him.
Eren loved food. He tried absolutely everything and only disliked a few things. Levi was more than happy to indulge him, his savings from his time as a corporal were more than enough to sustain him and Eren in a very comfortable lifestyle. It also helped that his name tended to get him discounts and freebies from time to time.
They spent all day with one another, from sleeping in bed to sitting beside the radio, they were inseparable. Eren's first words he learned were 'I love you', a fact that has made Levi nearly cry on more than one occasion. Once he learned how to properly use his voice, he was constantly talking and singing to him. He had been rather chatty as a merman, constant chirps and whistles that Levi had no hope of understanding, so it came as no surprise when he began to talk to levi about anything and everything that came to mind.
"Why is the sky blue?"
"Where do trees come from?"
"I like cucumbers, they are very big and green."
"Is Moo Moo outside today?"
It was constant, and normally the chatter annoyed him but he loved the sound of Eren's voice, and he understood that Eren had effectively been silenced for all this time. He simply wanted to share his thoughts with the person he loved most. Eren especially loved to talk about Levi. It was hard to hear at first, Eren complimenting his insecurities as if they were no big deal. As if they didn't mean everything to Levi.
"Your hands are smaller, I love holding them."
"Your one eye is different from the other. I like the color." "That scar is very large, you must be very strong, my Levi."
"You're shorter than me, I love that I can wrap around you easily."
Levi's heart could hardly take it most days, the sweet nothings constantly whispered into his skin made him feel cherished. It was nice.
But the thing Levi enjoyed teaching him the most, was sex. Eren was eager to touch him constantly, so naturally it lead to Levi having to show him how to make love. Eren loved the experience, eager for Levi to be inside him in the morning when he was relaxed and warm. Levi loved the mornings when he woke up to his beloved grinding against him, whining for Levi to fill him up. He also loved the evenings when they got home and needed to relax, and Eren asked to share that feeling. He could never deny Eren anything, allowing him to top for the first time a few weeks ago. Eren was obsessed with his ass from then on. Always behind him, grabbing his butt whenever he bent over to pick something up. However, Eren still wanted to feel Levi inside him sometimes, so they came to an obvious solution. In the moment, Eren would decide which he wanted more, for Levi to be inside him, or to be inside of Levi. Levi didn't mind either way, more interested in making Eren feel good. That was where they were now, the headboard whacking heavily into the wall as Eren thrust into him.
"Levi. Levi. Levi!" Eren chanted, hips pistoning roughly into his sopping hole. Eren held pale legs over his shoulders, moaning loudly with each thrust into that hot passage.
"Eren, please! I'm- Fuck. Eren." Levi groaned, eyes rolling when Eren's engorged cock slammed into his prostate with each thrust. He wasn't going to last much longer, having already come inside Eren just ten minutes before. Eren seemed to be in the same state, eyes closed and panting heavily.
"Too hot… hah! Levi I love- fuck I love your ass. Made for me." Eren panted, leaning down to kiss the human. Levi moaned into his mouth and gripped his long hair to keep his hands busy, wanting to come from Eren's cock alone. He didn't last much longer, white painting his belly as Eren continued to abuse his prostate. He was oversensitive, ass aching and pulsing with his heartbeat. Eren licked into his mouth, letting go of Levi's legs in favor of holding his slim hips in place.
"I'm gonna come. I love you. I love you-aah!" Eren whispered into him, hips bucking one last time as he came. He went limp, falling on top of the raven-haired man. Levi grunted at the weight but didn't complain, used to Eren going near comatose for a few minutes after coming. They stayed like this until Eren finally shifted to his side, pulling Levi with him as they snuggled into the soft mattress.
"Did I do good?" Eren asked, wide green eyes staring into him. Levi smiled tiredly and pet his head, kissing his nose.
"You were perfect, Eren."
"I love you."
"I love you too."
Tooth-rotting fluff. Originally I wasn't going to have Eren turn into a human at the end, but my mom said I was horrible for not allowing them together. (Yes I asked my mom what to do lol) also! He isn't human permanently. I was going to include this but couldn't figure out a good way to add it, but when they kiss outside the water, he becomes human. When they kiss in the water, he can become a merman again. They find out eventually lol.
