South Korea
Hana and Brigitte were heading to a luxury hotel in the south of Seoul. Thanks to Hana's rich friend, while Brigitte is staying in Seoul, they can stay in a luxury hotel in a building with over 100 floors. Hana had the means to afford long stays in luxury hotels, but she had no reason to turn down a free one.
Having grown up on the streets, Brigitte wasn't used to enjoying a high-end lifestyle. Brigitte never had such a luxurious life growing up on the streets, but her best friend gave her an unforgettable experience.
"This is the first time in my life to experience this. First class seats, luxury cars, and luxury hotels," Everything was strange to Brigitte now.
"So do I," It was the same for Hana.
"Don't you have the fame and wealth to be treated like a VIP anywhere in the world?" Brigitte had never imagined Hana being far from a wealthy life.
"Of course I do. But, as you know, I've never lived a life for myself." Hana sighed and lamented her situation.
"Oh..." Because Brigitte also lived for the cause, she sympathized with Hana's circumstances.
The media shows Hana as an energetic and cute female pro gamer, but her true self is a soldier with a serious duty to protect her country by controlling robots for a greater cause. Freedom was not easily granted to Hana, who was shouldering duties for someone.
"But on the other hand, I feel like I'm in such a good place right now. My job is going well, my family is healthy, and I have you, my best friend, by my side. Life is good."
Brigitte smiled at Hana, feeling happy to hear her friend so content. "I'm so glad to hear that, Hana. You deserve all the happiness in the world," she said, placing a hand on Hana's arm.
Hana turned to look at Brigitte, her heart full of gratitude. "And speaking of happiness, I want to thank you, Brigitte. You have been such an amazing friend to me all these years. You have listened to me when I needed to vent, supported me when I needed encouragement, and made me laugh when I needed to forget my troubles. You have been there for me through thick and thin, and I just want you to know how much I appreciate you."
Brigitte's eyes filled with tears, touched by Hana's words. "Hana, you don't have to thank me. You're my best friend, and I will always be here for you. You mean everything to me."
Hana felt her heart swell with love for Brigitte. She knew that her feelings for her friend were more than just platonic, but she had never dared to confess them. But now, as they rode in the self-driving car, Hana knew that she had to be honest with herself and with Brigitte.
"Brigitte, there's something else that I need to tell you," Hana said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Brigitte looked at Hana, sensing that something big was coming. "What is it, Hana?" she asked, her heart pounding in her chest.
Hana took a deep breath, gathering her courage. "Brigitte, I think I'm in love with you. I have been for a while now, but I didn't know how to tell you. You mean everything to me, and I can't imagine my life without you."
Brigitte's eyes widened in surprise, but then a smile slowly spread across her face. "Hana, I had no idea. But I feel the same way. I love you too."
Hana couldn't believe what she was hearing. She had been holding onto this secret for so long, and now that it was out in the open, she felt an overwhelming sense of relief.
Without thinking, she leaned over and kissed Brigitte on the lips. Brigitte kissed her back, and they both felt a spark that they had never felt before.
Not long after passing a small but significant turning point in their lives, they arrived at the hotel. As soon as they pulled up to the hotel, what caught their attention was a skyscraper with over a hundred floors.
"Oh, my, goodness," Brigitte couldn't hide her surprise.
When the hospitality robot opened the car door, Brigitte couldn't help but feel awkward as she had never received such high-class hospitality from anyone. Wearing a blouse, tailored jacket, and skirt was equally uncomfortable for her, who usually wore casual clothes.
As soon as they entered the hotel, they went to the front desk and approached the check-in robot.
"Hello, I'd like to check in, please. I made a reservation for two people," said Hana.
"Please tag your ID for identification purposes."
Hana tagged her cell phone to the device right in front of her.
"Ms. Hana Song, you made a reservation for a suite room, for two people."
Hana knew her rich friend had made a reservation in her name, but she had no idea that it was a suite, which puzzled her.
"Yes, I did," Hana replied uncertainly.
"Please re-tag the device you tagged earlier."
When Hana re-tagged her phone, it rang and an alarm popped up asking permission to add a keycard. Hana pressed her approval and added a temporary key card to her phone that could be used for a few days.
"We have added a temporary key card for room 1011, where you will stay for a few days, to your phone. The elevator for VIP guests is located on the far right of the lobby. If you have any questions, please use the artificial intelligence assistant placed in your room. Enjoy your stay."
"Thank you," They headed for the elevator with expressions of disbelief that just the two of them would have the opportunity to use a suite costing tens of thousands of dollars a day.
When the elevator reached the first floor, they boarded the elevator.
"101st Floor."
"Confirmed," The elevator started going up to the 101st floor at high speed.
Everything was strange to Brigitte. The luxury hotel, high-speed elevator, and a room on the 101st floor left her unsure of how to react, but she decided to enjoy the moment since it was an opportunity that would never come again.
When the elevator reached the 101st floor, the doors opened and they headed to their room. When Hana placed her phone on the door lock, it unlocked and they entered the room.
As Hana operated the light control console, many lights illuminated the room.
"Oj! (Wow!)" "대박인데(It's amazing)" The expensive decorations and furniture in the rooms, and the spacious rooms captivated them.
"First and foremost is the bedroom. Let's check out what the bedroom looks like," they headed to the bedroom.
"This is one sick-ass bedroom," Hana said in surprise.
Brigitte wanted to feel how good the bed was, so she put her luggage on the floor and lay down on the bed.
"My goodness. This bed is so comfortable," Brigitte felt content with the comfy mattress.
Hana lay down on the bed, wondering if it was a good bed, as Brigitte said.
"Just like you said. It's so good."
"If we keep lying down like this, we might fall asleep," Brigitte giggled and stood up.
"I agree. At least we should wash our face before going to sleep," Hana stood up.
Hana opened her bag to find a new pair of underwear and toiletries. Brigitte couldn't just lie down either, so she started unpacking.
While Brigitte was sorting through her belongings, Hana went into the bathroom. As Hana entered the bathroom, a luxurious bathroom that could be described as extravagant caught her attention.
Hana agonized over whether to take a full-body bath in the bathtub or take a warm shower, and decided to take a shower because she preferred a shower rather than a full-body bath. Hana took off all her clothes, put them on the table, and went into the shower booth with her toiletries.
Hana stood under the hot water, letting it wash away the stress of the day. She had been carrying a heavy burden for years, one that had weighed on her heart and consumed her thoughts. But today was different. Today, she was free.
For years, Hana had been in a friendship with her best friend Brigitte. They had been inseparable since they met, and Brigitte had always felt a deeper connection to Brigitte than just friendship. But she had never been able to tell her how she felt. The fear of rejection and the potential loss of their friendship had kept her from leaping.
But that all changed when Hana confessed her love to Brigitte in the self-driving car. Brigitte was shocked at first, but then a wave of relief washed over her. Hana didn't have to carry the burden of her unrequited love anymore.
Now, as she stood in the shower, Hana allowed herself to feel the freedom of no longer hiding her feelings. She smiled as she thought about the possibilities that lay ahead. She could finally be with the person she loved, openly and honestly.
As she turned off the water and stepped out of the shower, Hana felt a renewed sense of confidence. She wrapped a towel around herself and looked at her reflection in the mirror. For the first time in a long time, she felt beautiful and free.
She dried off and got dressed, feeling light and carefree. As she walked out of the bathroom, she saw Brigitte sitting on the bed, looking at Hana with a smile on her face.
"Brigitte, are you not going to take a shower?" Hana asked.
Brigitte shook her head. "No, I don't think I need to. I took a shower this morning, and I haven't done anything that would make me sweaty or dirty."
Hana nodded, respecting Brigitte's choice. "Okay, I see your point. Well, let's just relax and enjoy the rest of our evening."
While Hana unpacked her bag, she noticed a small bag of tea sitting at the bottom.
"Hey, Brigitte, do you want to have a cup of tea?" Hana asked.
Brigitte looked up from her book. "Sure, that sounds nice. What kind of tea is it?"
Hana checked the bag. "It's green tea. Want me to make you a cup?"
Hana nodded. "That sounds perfect. Thank you, Hana."
Hana got up and headed to the kitchenette. She put the kettle on the stove and waited for the water to boil. She then took out two cups and placed a tea bag in each.
As the water boiled, Hana poured it over the tea bags, letting them steep for a few minutes. She then removed the bags and handed Brigitte a cup.
"Here you go, Brigitte. Enjoy."
Brigitte took a sip and smiled. "Mmm, this is good. Thank you, Hana."
Hana settled onto the bed next to Brigitte, taking in the view of Seoul through the window. Brigitte was lost in thought, her gaze fixed on the city skyline. Hana was curious about what was going through Brigitte's mind, and she finally asked, "What are you thinking about?"
Brigitte turned to her, a small smile on her lips. "I was thinking about my ex-girlfriend," she said softly.
Hana nodded sympathetically. "It must be hard to think about her."
Brigitte nodded in agreement. "We had to break up because of our circumstances, but we're still friends. I think about her often."
"What was she like?" Hana asked.
Brigitte's smile grew wistful. "She was optimistic, always looking for the good in everything. She had a way of brightening up my day, no matter what was going on."
Hana was intrigued. "What was it like when you first saw her?"
Brigitte took a deep breath, then leaned in and pressed her lips to Hana's in a soft, gentle kiss. Hana was surprised but quickly melted into the embrace, feeling the warmth of Brigitte's lips against hers.
As the kiss ended, Brigitte pulled back and looked at Hana, her heart racing with anticipation. Hana looked back at her, her eyes full of wonder and awe.
"That's how I felt," Brigitte whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "That's how I've always felt."
This kiss felt like electricity. Like every nerve in Hana's body was on fire. It was a feeling she had never experienced before, and she couldn't shake the thought from her mind.
Suddenly, Hana was carried along by the mysterious feeling of Brigitte's kiss and kissed Brigitte back. Brigitte's surprise quickly gave way to a deepening of the kiss, and they both found themselves lost in the moment, enjoying the intensity of their connection.
"Brigitte Lindholm," whispered Hana, her eyes fixed on the object of her desire, "My heart yearns for you, and I want you more than anything in this world."
"I don't know what to say, But I do know that I want to explore this connection between us. Let's take it one step at a time, and see where it leads us."
As they set forth on their journey of love, every step they took together felt like a sweet adventure, guided by the countless twinkling stars above, leading them to a place where their hearts could truly belong.
As they lay in bed, Hana gazed into Brigitte's eyes, a smile on her face.
Hana let out a contented sigh. "I love being here with you."
Brigitte's grin widened. "Me too. There's nowhere else I'd rather be."
Hana's eyes sparkled with affection. "You make me so happy."
Brigitte reached out to take Hana's hand. "You make me happy too. I feel so lucky to be with you."
Hana blushed, feeling overwhelmed by the depth of her feelings. "Stop it, you're making me blush."
Brigitte chuckled. "I can't help it. I just love you so much."
Hana gazed into Brigitte's eyes, feeling a warmth spreading through her chest. "I love you too. You know that, right?"
Brigitte nodded. "Of course I do. I feel it every time you look at me."
Hana smiled. "Good. Because I don't think I could ever say it enough."
Brigitte leaned in to kiss Hana, their lips meeting in a soft, tender embrace. "You don't have to," she whispered. "Just being with you is enough."
Hana deepened the kiss, feeling her heart swell with joy. "Mmm, you're so sweet."
Brigitte pulled back slightly, her fingers tracing gently along Hana's face. "And you're so beautiful."
Hana grinned, feeling her cheeks flush. "Flattery will get you everywhere."
Brigitte smirked. "Is that so?"
Hana nodded, snuggling closer. "Definitely. Especially when it comes from you."
Brigitte wrapped her arms around Hana, holding her close. "I could do this all night," she whispered.
Hana closed her eyes, reveling in the warmth of Brigitte's embrace. "I wish you could."
But Brigitte's response was reassuring. "We have all the time in the world."
Hana smiled, feeling a sense of peace settling over her. "As long as we're together, that's all that matters."
Brigitte held Hana close, feeling the same sense of comfort and joy. "I couldn't agree more. I love you."
And Hana felt her heart overflow with love as she whispered back, "I love you too."
