Down to the Wire

Was it the blue wire? Or the red wire?
"GRRRRR! WHY CAN'T HE TELL US APART!"
"Maybe if you continue yelling real loud at him, he'll realize I'm not you."
"OK, I'm gonna vroom vroom boom, Hikaru! HEY, DEMON KING!"
Like Ranzo, Hikaru originally thought Bell was faking to get a rise out of them (especially Hyuga). But after seeing the deadpan ignorance on Bell's face which reflected his brother's one-track mind so closely, it dawned on Hikaru that Bell genuinely couldn't tell red from blue or who was who in this situation.
"Listen, Bell," Hikaru began, assuming erroneously he could lay it out for Bell in words, where that tactic had failed for Hyuga.
"That's the Demon King to you, Hyuga!"
"I'm Hikaru! He's Hyuga!"
"Whatever, Hyuga."
"It's Hikaru! I'm Hikaru! How could you get it wrong?" Hikaru felt this was one obstacle he wasn't breaking through. "Listen. Here's an easy way to remember which one of us is which."
"You mean besides using his eyes?" Hannah rededicated some of the exasperation she had wrangling Bell toward the older Asahi sibling.
"Precisely. Hi. I'm Hikaru, and I'm Akaba Aiga's boyfriend!"
"And I'm Hyuga~! And I'm boyfriends with Valt!"
"Is that why Valt's not battling?" Bell pounced on the missing puzzle piece. "I KNEW IT! Coaching junior bladers? 'I'm just here to help out'? Ha hahahaha! He's not volunteering! He's checking out Hyuga in a wetsuit on the cameras!"
Wakiya got slanty-eyed at Valt in the Battle Camp control room.
"What?"
"This is wot my money's payin' fer?"
"Well, uh, Bell got Hyuga's name right this time, so that's an improvement!" Valt repeated Hikaru's mistake: attempting to talk a problem out of existence.
