No one POV
Wind blissfully danced across the green blades of grass in Central Hyrule. Nearly 5 years after Calamity Ganon's defeat at Hyrule castle. Since then the kingdom has slowly started the reconstruction process. The hero defeated threat of destruction aided by the one who is Hylia reincarnated. Where are they now?... well it's been 5 years and since then our Princess has become a Queen...and our hero well...
Zelda POV
"-but your majesty if you'd only reconsider..."
"No. I will not begin reconstruction on the castle until my people have their homes returned to them Bartrem." I said staring my Royal Architect, more Ike royal ass.
"I mean.. it would be nice to have some new digs you know you can't stay in his-"
"Purah.. silence please... what are you doing here anyway?" I said glancing at her. She has managed to slip by my guards once again in to the council chambers. Crazy to think she is Impa's older sister but her anti aging runes seem to keep her as lively as every this time she has chose an age close to my own.
"Oh no reason came to check on you." She smiled. "You have a visitor by the way. He's outside right now. Thought you might want to collect yourself for this one."
Could it be...
" I will be out momentarily." I said rushing to my closet. As Purah left I hastily changed into a white and sky blue gown with a golden triforce belt underneath my breasts. The dress was lower cut than I would normally wear but it will suffice. Rushing to my mirror I adjusted my hair and placed my hair ornaments in. Glancing at the crown on my table I opted to leave it and went through the door.
"Purah...why is everything dark?" I asked as the opens door in front of me showed a pitch black hall with dark red and purple dust shimmers floating amongst it the corridors. The air was thick and smell awful. I know this smell...
"Princessssssss" a rough and course voice choked out.
"...this isn't real... it's not real. You are not back there in him... wake up. Wake up dammit!" I yelled and hit my leg.
The voice laughed, "you cannot seal me..."
"Your Majesty!" A guard said looking at me in concern. When my eyes fluttered open I saw Purah looking very worried, my guards and Andrina all looked at me with hesitation.
"Zelda..are you alright??" A familiar voice spoke.
Link POV
"-more to the left!" Hudson shouted. "Right there! Perfect! Thank you. Rhondason and I are so excited to welcome our new baby Here in spring! Odds are it's a girl . What about you Link? How is everyone? The Queen, she doing alright?" He asked looking at me. Zelda.. now that's a name I haven't said in a while.
"She's fine I would presume. I don't see her much these days" I said wiping my brow. These days? More like it's been 3 years since she "relieved me of my duty".
"Aren't you her appointed knight?" He said confused.
"Something like that. I'm heading home. Good luck with everything and congrats on the baby." I said walking towards the ledge of Terry Town
"I like this new you... you actually talk more! This was nice! much better than your traditional silent treatment" he said.
I smiled then bent down and allowed the wind to stir. Ravali'a Gail was always so handy. Pulling out my glider I soared in the air and began to fly southwest toward home. Once my feet reached the ground I pulled out my the Sheikah slate and tapped the rune icon on my house. Instantly I was beamed into my living room. Sighing I grabbed some dinner kicked off my shoes and sat down. When I was finish I went upstairs to lay down. As the sun light faded my thoughts strayed to Zelda I wonder how she is... it has been 3 years. Looking in the corner of my room at the master sword rested agains the wall. Right as exhaustion hit, I saw it flicker twice as my eyes drifted asleep.

Images flashed as a dark form with white hair began to stir in the shadows as I saw Zelda walking the corridors of Hyrule Castle.
"Princessssssssss"
"it's not real. It's not real...". Zelda repeated..."Link..."
Hearing those two words I shot up. Sunlight starting to peak through my window.
"what was that..." I said glancing at Fe. The sword was now a luminous blue. "Well I supposed we should go check on her...". Walking to my wardrobe I grabbed my Hylian Blue tunic, pants and cloak. Once changed I went to my gear hanging on the walls and grabbed the Hylian shield and one of my royal bows with a few extra swords. Stepping outside in the grass I pull out the Sheikah slate.
"Looks like my teleportation rune remains... I'll just teleport to my old room. Or should I stop at the gate first?"
No one POV
"Your Majesty! A zora entourage has arrived. It's Prince Sidon" a guard said knocking on Zelda's door. Being morning she was already up well before the sun made its ritual of blinding her through her study window.
"Sidon? I wonder why he is here." She said. "Very well I will be down to greet him shortly.
"Greet me?" Sidon said knocking twice. "Why are you in Here? Where is-"
"I'll be out in a minute!" Zelda exclaimed. Rushing to her wardrobe she grabbed the first blue gown she could find when her eye caught something blue. Turning the light formed a person...
"Link??" She said surprised.
"Zelda??" He said staring back at her.
"What are you doing in my room?" They said simultaneously.
"Your room?" They said again.
Link looked at Zelda. She looked just as beautiful as he remembered. Being 22 now, she did become a beautiful woman. He glanced downward.
"Wipe that stupid grin off your face..." she said turning pink.
"Why are you in MY room Zelda? More importantly... why are you in my tunic?" Link said leaning against the wall.
"Link!" She said lunging for him knocking over a chair. He dashed and darted to the other side of the room. "Why are you here? Aren't you enjoying your freedom now?" She said crossing her arms.
"Freedom? Is that what that was? Gotta say princess, it doesn't suite me" he said grinning picking up an apple from a bowl on her table.
Link POV
"Queen Zelda... what is going on in there??" Sidon said. "Is everything alright?"
"Yes I'm fine! I was changing and knocked over a stool..." Hide...she mouthed. "You're in my room... but okay" I said rolling my eyes, I walked to the window and climbed out hanging on the ledge.
"You may enter" she said
"Your majesty Prince Sidon has come with a most advantageous request!" Andrina said, "we shall leave you two to talk.
"Zelda... I know things have been busy and you have been trying your very best to take care of the kingdom... the Zoras would like to assist you. We wish to help foster in a new age between the Zoras and the Hylians. If Mipha was alive I believe father would have already succeed at this with Link, but sadly she passed." Sidon said. I climbed up the wall to pick in the window.
"Sidon, Hyrule and the Zoras already have a good bond, I don't understand what you mean..." she said looking confused.
"Well," he said clearing his throat, "you are Queen now and have yet to wed. Most of us thought after everything you would have married the Hero... but you relieved him of his duty and he hasn't been seen in years..." Sidon finished. Is he going to...
"What are you saying?" she said crossing her arms. I finally took notice of her since I've been staring daggers at Sidon. Her dress was beautiful. Blue to match the tunic I was wearing. The dress was shorter and cut down the back and little more in the front adorning a Gold triforce that clasp between her breasts it's point laying between them... My cheeks turned red. When I Sidon then I ducked my head back down.
"Queen Zelda.. I, Prince Sidon, or the Zora people would like to formally request your hand in marriage" he said sinking to one knee and bowing his head. I climbed up further.
"I..." she said looking at him then directly at me. Quietly I slid on the window ceil then jumped. "Wait" she called after me. Why did you make me come here Fe... Gliding down I looked up and saw her.
"Please come back..." she said. I glanced at her, pain on her face then suddenly her eyes flashed a black color and she was falling from the window.
"Zelda!" I exclaimed running at where she was going to land. Sliding, she landed on me knocking the wind out of my lungs. Looking up at her, her eyes were open but black void of color. "Zelda..." I said placing my hands on either side of her face staring in her back eyes.
"Queen Zelda" Sidon yelled from the window. Guards rushed towards us
"Everyone stay back..." I said firm. I heard faint whispers of my name as they realized who I was and honored my request.
"Link... she is not alone in there..."Fe said.
"Fe... what do I do" I asked staring in her eyes as a single tear fell from her and dropped to my check.
"The darkness thought sealed is growing with in her... you must reach her..."
"no... it is not real... this is not real" Zelda said.
Sitting up I held her against me, "Zelda wake up... look at me!" I pleaded.
"Hero...it's nice to see you... I'm sure we will be seeing more of each other...haha" Zelda said her voice lower and filled more malice.
"Link?????" Zelda said coming too. She began crying and wrapped her arms around me.
"Your majesty!!" Sidon said jumping from the window he landed next to me. "Link... you're here."
"Hello Sidon" I replied scooping up Zelda I walked past him.
"I'm glad you're back...i'm sorry..." she said before fainting.
"Call Impa, I am taking the Queen to her chambers. She is not to be disturbed. No one goes in or out of this castle. Does anyone disagree?" I asked turning to face the guards.
"No sir Link. Welcome back sir.." one of the guards said running to inform the rest.
"Sidon, return to Zora. Notify the King... Ganon is not fully sealed...then send word to the Gorons and the Rito. Also...It's good to see you...". I said the carrying Zelda back to my room.
Chapter 1 complete! Gaging interest. What do we think???? The goal is romance and adventure eventually morphing into more we shall see! Let me know!
