We were safe. There had been no threatening messages for several months. We had all gone our separate ways, though we still met up from time to time. But it was nice. We could just be friends again.

This was one of those times. We were back in Rosewood, gathered at the hotel. Aria was telling us about her latest project with Ezra. But then, our phones buzzed. We looked at each other before picking them up in unison. I frowned, looking down at the message hesitantly.

Aria frowned. "It's starting again."

Emily nodded. "I thought it was all over."

Hanna sighed. "It should be. But when is it ever?"

Alison frowned. "That's true. But who could it be this time?"

I looked up, seeing a woman in a long black dress enter. She was wearing dark glasses, and a hood covered her head. Still, there was something familiar about her. I felt like I'd seen her before, but I couldn't place her.

Emily frowned. "Who is she?"

I sighed. "I have no idea. But she's looking right at us.

Alison stood, walking up to the woman. "Can we help you?"

The woman looked at her slowly. "I'm sorry. You looked like someone I knew once. But you couldn't be her.

That voice. I felt like I had heard it before. But still, I was struggling to place her.
