It was just another day in the life of the Hoshino family. The whole family was ecstatic about the upcoming dome concert Ai's idol group B Komachi will be performing in. Everyone except Ai herself in a way.

'I guess it is a pretty big deal after all, but it's just a bigger stage for me to lie to my fans right? I don't see how this is any different' she thought as she watched her adorable children play in their apartment.

'I wonder if I will ever get the courage to say I love them, I guess maybe one day I hope it won't end up as a lie'

Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

"Oh, I guess that might be the President. I'm coming just a minute." Ai starts to walk over towards the door leaving Aqua and Ruby to play in the room.

What she saw as she opened the door surprised her, there were no words that could have described the events that played out before her. She absent-mindedly reached for the door handle and almost immediately saw a large bouquet held out in front of her.

"C-C congratulations on your dome concert" A dark lanky figure spoke with venom. Before anyone could realise what was about to happen he tossed aside the flowers and lunged forward with a knife with vindication caused by a supposed betrayal.

When suddenly the knife was stooped after suddenly being met by a solid frame of a man with a presence that exuded energy as if his entire body radiated power. Suddenly in the blink of an eye felt the knife in his hand knocked away with enough force to bend his body at a weird angle before being shoved to the floor in great force.

It was then he saw the man's face, no this was no ordinary man for this was a monster in the shape of a man. A being who held enough power to move faster than he could think whose eyes held a deep disdain for the man that was being looked down upon. With golden hair that held a bright presence that can put the sun to shame on a body that has seen countless amounts of battles from all the bruises and cuts on the bulging muscles. His body was adorned in only a simple tattered gi that was ripped from the belt up as the pants lay ragged barely being held together from all the damage it had seen.

It was then he heard him speak or anyone spoke in that brief second.

"You're the scum of the universe, AND I'M GETTING SICK OF IT!" the golden-haired warrior roared putting fear in the would-be assailants' eyes.

"I felt your dark ki just in time, and you will pay for what you tried to do" he continued to look down in disgust before turning toward Ai who was currently too shocked to speak as a mysterious man had just saved her life.

"Don't worry I'll take care of him go back inside and relax" he says calmly as he smiles at her with a kind grin.

"A-ah yes thank you so much" as she quickly moves back into her apartment to call the police.

As she moved back inside the man on the floor looks up to the warrior not daring to meet his eyes. "J-just w-who are you?" he trembled as he asked.

"I am the Saiyan who came all the way from Namek with the sole purpose of beating you, I am the warrior you heard of in legends, pure of heart and awakened by fury, that's who I am! Grrrr! I AM THE SUPER SAIYAN, SON GOKU!" He yells as in an instant he finds himself locked in a grab by Goku and flung into the air.

As he hurdles through the air he feels as if he became weightless as he sees the world become smaller as he flies higher into the air. He tries to scream but he couldn't find the energy to do so as he gets interrupted by Goku who flicks him back towards the earth with hardly any effort. He then barrels back towards Japan as all of the moments of his entire life come back to him as he prepares to crash into the earth. His last sight before losing consciousness is the bright presence of the super saiyan as Goku catches him before he crashes.

With the unconscious body of the would-be murderer in hand, he then hands it over to the shocked expressions of the Tokyo police department as he just as leaves just as quickly as he leaves to return to Namek to defeat Frieza.

It has been almost 2 years since the incident and a new perspective in life has been given to the Hoshino family as every day since then Ai had started to shower her children with as much love that she could. The strange man who had saved her life was revealed to be 'Son Goku' by the attacker. This caused Ai to shoot up in popularity even more as not only was she now known as a popular media personality but she was able to witness a golden-haired hero who saved her from a potentially fatal attack. With that encounter, she didn't let a single day with the twins go by without reminding them of her love since her reluctance was quashed at the terror of how she almost left them orphaned without saying she loved them like her own parents. Aqua in awe of such a spectacular display was inspired to join different child actor roles in superhero movies hoping one day he could inspire someone and help others like Goku, gaining notoriety for his incredible yell that he took inspiration from in deeply emotional scenes. Ruby was also enamoured by how brightly the Saiyan shone and tried to shine and inspire hope as Goku did when trying to dance hoping to be as bright as Goku when she starts her idol career in the future. As the story died down and Ai's regular busy schedule continued, she sometimes thinks about him and how he saved her life. She can't help but feel so incredibly lucky that despite all the lies in this world there was someone who took time out of their day to return some light in this world. While yes there will always be things that will try to tear her down with the stress of hiding her family, that just means that she will just have to shine brighter to one day be a star that will inspire her fans to make a difference like Goku did for her.

'Thank you Goku, I hope to measure up to you so that I could bring the same brightness in this world that you have brought to me and my family.'
