That night, Toby and I were having dinner. I knew he was trying to talk to me, but I was barely hearing a word.
"Spencer? Are you okay?"
I looked up. I didn't want to drag him into my mess again, but I didn't have much choice. "No. There's a new A. And I think I know who it is, but I have no idea how or why. And I really don't know how to beat her."
Toby frowned. "Who is she?"
I took a deep breath. "Cersei Lannister. And yes, I know how crazy that sounds. But I recognized her even through the disguise. I just wish I could see her face and know for sure."
Toby frowned. "I want to believe you. But wasn't she from some place that doesn't even exist?"
I nodded. "Or so I thought. But even Ali recognized the similarities between Cersei and Cerise Landon."
Even as I spoke, my phone rang. It was Ezra. I picked it up, almost afraid to answer it. "Hey Ezra."
Ezra frowned. "Spencer. Is Aria with you?"
I frowned. "No. Why?"
Ezra sighed. "She hasn't come home. And she's not answering her phone."
I frowned, remembering what Aria had said about confronting Cersei. "I think I might have an idea where she is." I hung up with a sigh.
Toby frowned. "What's wrong?"
I sighed. "I think Aria went to confront Cersei."
