"W-We can't hold it any l-longer! GO!"
"W-Whatever you do-S-Survive!"
A Froakie hops along a meadow. The soft light of the morning presses against the grass, and a little wind blows, pushing the leaves of nearby trees. The water type happily picks flowers from flower, taking whiffs of each before placing them in a knapsack.
...Until he picks up the scent of smoke in the air. He curiously follows the trail which leads to...A Scorbunny lying on the ground. Around the unconscious is a circle of fire...and a strange large locket made of gold and emerald gemstones.
The water type takes a moment to examine the scene more closely, and notices the fire type is still breathing.
With a quiet step, he approach the locket on the floor and picks it up as slowly as he could...And pockets it.
He begins moving away, giving quick glances behind him before hearing a loud yawn. The frog freezes on spot, and turns around to see the rabbit waking up.
"W-What the..." The bunny coughs and looks around. "-WOAH!" She looks down at herself, and see her white fur, little paws and comically large feet.
The Froakie tries to smile, yet it's riddled with nervousness. "O-Oh great!" He quickly hops in front of the Rabbit, and douses off the flames. The Scorbunny places one paw in front of her slides backward. "Y-You're a-awake!-Yo-You're not gonna attack, r-right?" He leaps backward once and put himself in a defensive stance.
The bunny blinks and pat at herself while standing up. "Well...I don't see why I'd do that, who are you...?"
The Froakie opens his mouth to talk. "Well..." However, he notices that the bunny is hopping around on spot, looking at herself, feeling up her fur, pulling her own ears and waggling her tail. "A-...Are you okay...?"
"Yeah, I think I'm about to wake up soon. This is clearly a dream!" She pats at her cheeks, and opens wide her eyes toward the Froakie.
"A...A dream...?" The Froakie let out a large sigh, pressing one hand on his chest. He still remains nervous. "W-Why do you think this is a dream...?"
The scorbunny sits down on the floor, and waddles her legs. "Well, first of all. I don't remember anything!-Clear factor to a dream!" She press a paw on top of the other. "Second, even if I can feel everything around me and my own body, I'm not whatever I am right now!-I'm clearly some weird creature and so, I should wake up...Right about now!" *She moves her right paw, and tries to motion a clicking noise from it "...Now!" She does it again, this time looking irritated from not feeling her index and thumb not connecting.
The Froakie's nervousness goes away, and instead looks disappointed. "...I'm sorry, but you're not dreaming. Did...You hit your head? Did you lose your memories...?"
The bunny pets her head. "Well I don't have an headache, and rubbing definitely feels weird, but...I don't think it's he former because I doubt I'd be left in this place-Anyway-" *She stands up* "Where am I right now?" She ask, taking a few steps forward and looking around the scenery.
The Froakie inspects closer the Scorbunny before talking. No visible wounds, and nothing seems to be on her. "...Well, this is one of the large meadow nearby of Verdant Turf Town-You've been there before, or...?"
The scorbunny shakes her head. "Nope! First time I hear about that place!"
The frog nods. "...I thought as much, you're the first Scorbunny I saw in a long time! ...So you don't remember anything of where you came from?"
The Scorbunny shakes once again her head. "Nah, I'm fairly sure I should be a human, this isn't my natural environment-" She gazes at the grass nearby of her foot "A large city with people in it should be it!"
"...You know you're standing in your natural habitat, right? You can just eat the grass right now."
"Hush." The bunny flickers a paw toward the frog. "I'm not gonna stand on all four and eat that grass, no matter what my body tells me!" She walks past the Froakie, who keeps a cautious look toward her. "Alright, so what is there to do here?"
"Um..." The Froakie thinks for a moment before talking. "...Well, you could either...Stay here?"
The girl shakes her head. "Nuh-huh. No way. I'm not gonna stay here!-It's looks boring here!"
Froakie blinks. "...Really? You look perfectly content here!" He spots her tail swaying back and forth. "...Anyway, you can also come with me to my town!" He start hopping toward where he comes from. "Follow me!"
The Scorbunny follows along. "Alright-So what are you anyway? A talking frog? What kind of name you have?"
"Oh, me?" The Froakie respond. "A-Ah-Right, I forgot about my formalities! ...Hehe!-It's Froakie! Yours?" The scorbunny stand still, Froakie stops. "...Oh-Sorry, I forgot you forgot about who you are..."
The girl shakes her head. "It's not that, it's..." *She waves a hand in the air* "Anyway, my name is...Yeah, I don't know it. I'll try to think of what it's used to be."
The froakie stops and gives her a confident look. "It's human!"
"...Nope! That's just who I am! My real name, I forgot!"
The water type began hopping again. "Well, whatever your name is, I hope you gain back your memories soon!"
