Chapter 2:A ferocious encounter(and friendly one)

Our heroes were entering Middle school and were told by the teachers to enter the gymnasium and along with the other kids.All of the kids sat on the bleachers.

"Welcome, Everyone to Bubbletucky Middle school. It is nice to meet new students, and some students from last year..."The principal said cynically at the last part. Some of the said students gulped and whistled

"I expect all of you to do well. And work hard in order to achieve your goals. Because you will be able to achieve your goals by working hard. Also, please don't end up in my office. I am not a nice person when you end up in my office. That's all let's hope we have a great year,wait near the door to see what class you're going to."

"Alright,guys. let's see what class we're going to " Gil said excitedly

The guppies we're given their papers to their next class

"Ok,what rooms are we in? I'm in A01"

"I'm in room A03" Oona replied

"I'm in room A02" Nonny followed

"I'm in A02" Deema said "That means me and Nonny are in the same room"

"I'm in...A04..."Goby shuttered terrified (This means I'll be separated from the others.And alone...)

"What about you Molly?"(Gil)

"I'm in...A02"Molly decided to present her response slowly due to how she didn't want Gil to overreact

"That means...we won't be in the same class together..." Gil said sadly. This was somehow worse than Molly expected;Not that bad,but still.

"Don't worry" Deema said casually "You'll see her of the day"

"Deema, please be more empathetic please"Nonny said courteously

"Yeah,sorry.."She said apologetic

"Don't worry, Honey. I'll see you later at lunchtime"Molly assured

"Okay"Gil said excitedly

They hugged and the group went their separate ways.

Goby was on his way to his classroom and was shivering and rocking back and fourth violently. He would normally have Gil, Nonny or the rest of his friends by his side but he was absolutely terrified to walk by himself.

"This is it" Goby thought"A place where I could make more friends, or have more people to hate me...how am I going to prove myself to her if I don't get through this. Will she even want to go out with me?Will she laugh at me?Will the others laugh at me? Will the whole school laugh at me? WILL I EVEN GET THROUGH MIDDLE SCHOOL? WILL I FAIL? WILL I NEVER GET A JOB, SLOWLY DRIFT FROM SOCIETY, LIVE IN THE SEWERS,EAT TOXIC WASTE, MUTATE ,AND EAT UP IN A FREAK SHOW WITH FINGERS INSTEAD OF TEETH?WILL THE WORLD END TOMORROW?!WILL-"

In all of his stress,thinking,and paranoia,he bumps into someone whilst falling over,a Guppy girl with a blue baseball cap,red hair tied up in a ponytail,a light blue shirt with a cat on it,and white sleeves,a diagonally striped yellow and blue skirt,and white socks with blue Mary Jane shoes.

Though, the only thing Goby could see when she turned around(apart from her freckles)was her Emerald green eyes. Seething down with hostility for the fool who dared walk into her.This was Sydney Elizabeth McCoth

"Watch where you're going,you wanker!" She said with an obvious British accent. Goby's fears seemed to have come true. He had accidentally made someone hate him on HIS FIRST DAY OF MIDDLE SCHOOL,and he felt like he wasn't able to figure out what to do. He was telling himself internally to get up ,but was too thunderstruck.

"Well?!" She had replied once again with a chip on her shoulder. Goby slowly stood up, fingers twitching,heavy breathing,forehead turning blue out of fear,anime style. He said pushed to his absolute limit, until finally,he exploded,verbally.

"OKAY, FINE,YOU WIN!TAKE ALL MY MONEY!JUST DON'T HURT ME!" he threw his change in the air,and ran away. Not caring about what happened just running to hide from the embarrassment.As Sydney was left standing with complete concern,and bewilderment

"...What?"

Oona had a different type of way she went to class. She was completely optimistic.She didn't mind walking there by herself without her brother Gil,or her friends, despite being younger than them.

"This is it" Oona thought "My pathway to making new friends. I can't wait to meet everyone. Though will everyone like me?"

She thought for a second

"Nope!Nice try.Those pessimistic thoughts won't get to me.Though, I hope Goby is okay. He gets really scared when he's alone.I hope he'll be okay... Anyway,let's go.

Oona walks to the room. She thinks for a moment breathes in,and walks in

"Umm, hello?"

"Oh,hello. Come in and introduce yourself"

Her teacher said

She was an adult female lobster

Oona walked to the front of the class and took a deep breath

"Hi, My name is Oona Shaskan Gordan.

I'm 11 years old,I like jelly and cream sandwiches,the colors pink and yellow,and art"

"She's adorable"One student said

"Of course she is, she's a kid" said another

"How did someone as young as her get here?"

"Is it lunch time yet? She made me hungry"

"Ok,Oona. Have a seat" Oona walked over to the back table. There were desks but she chose to go to the back table"

"Alright,hello class. My name is Ms.Vaughn.

We will spend today's class introducing each other,and we have no homework..."

The class cheered

"...For the first 8 days"

The class groaned

"When we do get to work,I want all of you to ask questions if you have questions you struggle with"

"Why do we need to know this.She is the only kid here" A student said

"So you're saying only kids need to know how to ask for help with what they need?" Oona replied snarky

"Ooo" the class said

Suddenly, someone was banging on the door.The teacher opened it and a girl came in frantically.

"AMILATE?!AMILATE?! "She said rushed

"No you're early"Ms.Vaughn said

"Ok,I'll introduce myself.My name is Zooli Javier. I'm 13 years old, Like animals,My favorite color is purple,and I love Bosco sticks "

"Thank you,Take a seat, Zooli "Her teacher said

Oona raised her hand signaling Zooli to sit next to her.sge walked towards the back table where Oona was sitting

"Hi,I'm Oona.Nice to meet you!"

"Thanks,you too!"Zooli replied

"I think animals are great too,I mainly like starfish, and baby goats."(Oona)

"Thanks,I like Sea Dragons and Seahorses. They're related because they are a part of the genus Phycodurus family which includes,pipefish, Snapdragons and Seahorses."(Zooli)

"Wow,I have to introduce you to my friend Nonny. He's also intelligent. Actually,I need to introduce you to my friends,they might like you too."(Oona)

"Really?"

"Mm-hmm.And I'll be your first"

"Thanks,Oona"

"You're welcome, Zooli"
