A Gearhead's Life:
BearfootTruck: i'm happy you're happy bft honey. using my phrase definitely tells me you are. i wouldn't say "cruel" she just freaked out over the news. tails was too nonchalant about it. any ideas you want suggestion for this story? or simple tiny plot twists?
Sharp dark brown eyes don't hold back glaring at her. Watching as Andros gently shackles her on condition by the others. That he was so vocally against, still the ravenette feels somewhat satisfaction at their archenemy helpless.
"Hey Andros wait!"
She calls quickly, jogging up to their slower walk down to the lower deck. Deep chocolate brown eyes never leave her concerned face.
"Cassie, she's my sister. She won't hurt me. Besides the restraints will see to that."
He glances down at her black gloved hands held in his own. The metallic cuffs strapped to her wrists make him glare at the said devices. He never notices Cassie giving Astronema I'M-WATCHING-YOU finger gesture.
"True, but better safe then sorry. Double back up never hurt."
The wannabe singer smiles confidently at her nodding understandably leader. Tho both know, Andros still has reserves at the team's hostile actions. As she takes her own lead of the supposed siblings. Uncomfortable silence follows even as the 3 enter the modesty big but dark room.
Immediately clamping down the chains to beam, Astronema's dark brown eyes blankly stare into Cassie's own as the ravenette carelessly drops the villainess's wrists.
Andros's soft smile meets her face. "She didn't mean that."
"Yes I really did." Cassie's smug remark rang clear soon after Andros and Astronema turn to face her. Still glaring completely on full display not trusting Astronema, she just sits herself leaning against the beam she is stuck too.
"Cassie please, give her a chance. I'll be back."
Andros's soft words with his right hand squeezing her left upper arm, does make Cassie nod. The girls watch him walk out. Cassie's fists clench at the sound she didn't register. Too focused on watching Andros depart.
"What?"
"I said you cherish him deeply, don't you?"
Cassie marches towards Astronema, leaning down at eye level, still a good distance away one another.
"Better believe it. Exactly why I don't care if you are really Karone. As Astronema you've done nothing but hurt people, hurt Andros. He may trust you, but make one wrong move, I will end you."
Astronema smirks sitting up straighter, reminding them both of when they first met. . .
FLASHBACK. . .
"So this is what rangers look like after they lose their powers? A sorry sight!"
Along curly purple wig wearing Astronema struts up. Walking down the line held buttered civilians. Staring down at the short ravenette the only one truly fighting from the quantrons that hold her arms down tightly.
Astronema smirks as she pointlessly lungs at her. A teasing glint in the villainess's brown eyes.
"Tell me. Where did the Red ranger go?"
Her voice drips in honey, silent giggles through her smile at Cassie looking close to bite her.
"I would NEVER. . . tell you."
END OF FLASHBACK. . .
"You love him, it's almost sweet actually."
"Shut up!"
"Um girls. . ."
Cassie stands up startled as Astronema tilts her head to the side. Both finding Andros standing there with a tray of food.
"Yeah, I didn't know what you liked. So I brought a little of everything. Oh and some for you too Cassie. I don't remember the last time we ate."
"Thanks Andros I'm starving." She sheepishly lies, changing the subject.
"I'm not hungry."
The two different responses do get the brown blond striped male chuckling slightly. He carefully passes Cassie's left side to place the metallic tray in front of Astronema.
"It's a long journey."
He smiles kindly, sitting himself down on the far wall across from her. Cassie looks between the two, "I better go tell the gang our progress." She exists quickly no looking back. She never noticed Andros's concern far off look watching her leave.
"It's understandable, your friends don't trust me. Do you Andros?"
Immediately he turns his head to the right, eyes locked with her. A firm nod with no hesitation. "Yes I do trust you. But you trust me?"
She looks away, softly scoffing.
"Trust? That's a loaded question. But if you really do, then trust that your pink ranger, promised me a painful demise should I harm you now."
Andros's low dry chuckle and turning away from Astronema's smug smirk gives her all the answer she needs.
"Well it's sickly obvious, you lie to yourself. The Yellow ranger while fighting my and Dark Spector's forces that you two don't hold the same passion."
"Karone be quiet."
Those words slip so easily as if they've always talked like this. Andros sighs softly looking to find Astronema blinks once then twice, tho a tiny soft smile takes her face as well.
"It's a little sister's job to tease her dense big brother. We have missed out."
THE END!
