"So you got a Total Drama season 2 for me?" Producer asked.
"Yessir I do, it's gonna be called Total Drama Action and it will be themed off of movies and all the challenges are gonna be inspired by different genre types." Screenwriter explains the premise of the second animated reality television program.
"Amazing."
Screenwriter listed off, "We got monster movies, and prison movies, heist movies, cavemen movies, animal buddy-"
"Animal Buddy?"
"Late in the season I ran out of movie ideas."
"Well I can't wait to have all the old cast return for another shot at a fortune that they're definitely gonna blow in a week." Producer smiled.
"Yeah yeah yeah, but no actually."
Producer replied, "Oh really?"
"Yeah were actually gonna cut the cast down to the 14 people picked during Island's epilogue special." Screenwriter brought up.
"Oh yeah I forgot about that, it's gonna and hard to make a 26 episode season with about only half of the old cast." Producer theorizes.
"Actually super easy barely an inconvenience." Screenwriter replied.
"Oh really?"
"Yeah we're just gonna have a bunch of reward challenges in both the team section and the merge." Screenwriter explained.
"Smart way to pad the season."
"Thank you."
"Speaking of teams what are they called here?"
"The Screaming Gaffers and the Killer Grips."
"Aren't those basically the same names as the Gophers and Bass?"
"No they're totally different." Screenwriter denied.
"So they're intermingled with players from opposing teams last season?"
"Well the Grips are just gonna be comprised of most of the Gophers."
"So does that mean they're gonna win a bunch of challenges since the Gophers were a strong team?"
"No they're gonna lost almost all the challenges before the merge."
"Oh."
"But we have a returning contestant that starts halfway through the season."
"Oh who?"
"Courtney."
"Oh Courtney, yeah she was a fan favorite last time around."
"Yeah she's gonna file a successful lawsuit against the show and strong arm the staff into getting a bunch of luxurious benefits, she's also gonna scream a lot and complain when she doesn't get her way, and her competitive nature is turned up to insane levels and she's gonna bargain the lives of her competitors to escape a potentially exploding building and force her boyfriend Duncan to change every aspect of his character."
"Oh my god!"
"Yeah she's great as ever right?"
"No that doesn't sound anything like Courtney from Island at all." Producer shook his head.
"Reality shows can bring out the worst in people what can I tell you?"
"Wait didn't you tell me last week you had an ex named Courtney that tried to change your entire personality and life choices?" Producer questioned.
"I don't know what you're talking about sir."
"So what's going on with some of the other characters?" Producer asks.
"Oh well Bridgette and Geoff are gonna spend all their time making out before getting eliminated."
"Teens."
"Also Trent's gonna have an obsession with the number 9 and he's gonna throw challenges for Gwen which causes them to break up."
"Aw that's sad, they seemed like they could last."
"Yeah Leshawna's gonna be outcasted because she talked bad about the others behind their backs."
"Didn't Heather talk bad about them to their faces both here and last time?"
"Yeah but this one's worse."
"How so?"
"Because."
"That works."
"Also Lindsay's gonna take charge in a team challenge, win a couple challenges and get under Courtney's skin." Screenwriter explains.
"Oh this sounds amazing is she gonna be a finalist?"
"No she votes herself off accidentally."
"Oh..."
"Yeah and also Owen's gonna be comeback after being unfairly kicked out by Courtney."
"Did he also file a lawsuit?"
"No he's being offered a bunch of money to pay off a cheese cellar his parents bought to stir some drama."
"Wait can that actually happen?" Producer asked.
"Apparently."
"Do the peanut gallery have things they can't pay so they can ask the staff to return for that job?"
"Idunno."
"Oh."
"Also I was thinking that we can do a thing called the Total Drama Aftermath where eliminated contestants are interviewed and gives the other losers some screen time."
"Well it's better than nothing."
"So what do you think?"
"Well it's seems like a good stopping point for the series."
"Yeah this is the last time we're doing a TD season."
