It was late in the afternoon on a Saturday, and Ryuto Ippongo, Pippi Osu, Mai Waifu, Midori Gurin, and Gema Taku - the five members of Akademi's unofficial gaming club - were walking together on a path through the woods in a big public park fairly close to their school.
They were playing one of their favorite games to play together. It was a mobile-based Magical Girl, Pretty Miyuki game, which would require them to go around to different locations. It was a lot like Pokemon Go, except it involved using magic abilities to defeat monsters.
Not only were they all clubmates, but they were friends, too, and whatever they did together, gaming or not, they greatly enjoyed it and valued the time they spent with one another.
Additionally, Pippi and Ryuto had developed a crush on each other. Initially, neither of them realized that the other had feelings for them, but they each confided their feelings with their other clubmates. And then, with some encouragement and support from Mai, Midori, and even Gema a bit, they had finally, just recently, confessed their feelings to each other, and now they were happily dating.
In regards to their gaming activities, not only would they do them on campus before and after school each day, but they would often do some outside of school together on weekends, and other times when they weren't on campus.
Whenever they played the Miyuki game during their in-school gaming, Gema would stay in the clubroom while the others went around defeating various monsters at certain spots in the school. But when they played this game (or any game, for that matter) on their outside-of-school activities, like this one now, Gema actually joined them. But then again, was that really such a good thing?
Granted, Gema wasn't a bad person at heart. He could even be a rather good and pleasant friend at times. However, especially when he was playing video games, he could often have a rather snotty, irritable, and abrasive attitude, and would often have disagreements with the rest of them. He could also be rather bossy and controlling, and often even pouted and had hissy fits when he didn't get what he wanted, or when somebody didn't do what he told them. He often acted like this when they were playing multiplayer games, even if he ended up leading them into disaster and costing them the game.
In fact, he had done exactly that earlier that day, and then they went out to play the Miyuki game which they were doing right now, but the other four were still mad at him. And even now Gema was still being a real jerk.

Additionally, he often tended to have them play for overly long stretches of time without any breaks, even to use the bathroom.

They started to split up, Gema going in one direction, and the girls in another, but Ryuto just stood there for a moment initially.
"Are you coming?" asked Gema.
"In a moment," replied Ryuto a bit dismissively, waving him off.
But a moment later, Ryuto went and caught up with the girls.
"Hey, if you don't mind, would it be alright if I went with you three?" he asked them. "I do not want to be with Gema right now. I'm still mad at him. But if you're not okay with it, that's fine, I'll accept it."
After a moment of consideration, the girls agreed to let him join, and they started walking together.
"Don't worry, I won't bite," he added, which the girls thankfully found a bit amusing.
After all, the girls could sympathize with Ryuto because, like him, were also still quite perturbed with Gema. Besides, Ryuto was a lot more comfortable around them than around Gema in general, and he was closer friends with them than with Gema as well, and they all knew it.
Once the four of them arrived at their decided peeing spot, they all stood in a circle and faced the center of said circle. Then he looked ahead at Mai, who was also noticing what was going on, but was also clearly finding it a bit amusing. And admittedly, there was a part of him that was finding it partly amusing himself, and he and Mai shared a slightly amused smile and small chuckle, at the expense of Pippi, who now seemed slightly hurt at this point, making him feel a little worse.
They finally finished peeing, except for Midori, and the other three watched her as she continued to pee for several more seconds. And then right when they thought she had finally finished, she started letting out some final additional spurts. She looked up at the others, whom she could tell were starting to get a bit impatient, with a bit off their common "Oh, Midori" type attitude.
"I'm sorry," she said, with a small sheepish smile that also contained a bit of amusement.
"You shouldn't have drank all that soda earlier," said Ryuto. Mai and Pippi agreed with him.
Midori finally finished with a little spurt that trickled down and off of her butt. Finally, thought the other three, relieved. Ryuto zipped up his fly, and the girls stood up, Pippi and Mai pulling their panties back up.
"Alright, should we get going?" said Midori, a bit energetically.
"Aren't you forgetting something?" said Mai.

She stared at Mai for a second, confused, then glanced over at Ryuto, who made a gesture of pulling one's panties up, but she still wasn't getting it. He sighed and rolled his eyes, and opened his mouth to tell her, but Mai beat him to it.

When they got back to the path, Gema was already there waiting for them.

"Ryuto!" said Gema. "Did you...did you go with the girls?!"
"Yeah, jealous?" said Ryuto with a slight smirk.
"Ugh, no! I was just wondering where you went off to until now!" said Gema, although not entirely convincingly. "You really think I'd want to go pee with those three? Do you have brain damage?"
"Okay that was unnecessary," said Mai.
"Yeah," said Ryuto. "In fact, this is exactly why I went with them and not you."
"Huh? What do you mean?" said Gema.
"Well," said Ryuto, "you may have improved your appearance-"
"Yeah, you're kinda hot now," said Midori. Ryuto and Mai shot her a brief look, and she fell silent.
Ryuto went on. "But it doesn't make up for the fact that you're a real jerk sometimes."
"What?!" said Gema, a bit offended.
"Yeah," said Mai, "you're really rude a lot of the time."
"Unnecessarily snotty and abrasive," said Ryuto.
"Irritable," said Mai, bouncing off of Ryuto.
"And half the time when someone tries to talk to you, especially in the middle of a game, you're all 'why are you interrupting meeeeee?!'" said Ryuto, with a perfect impression of Gema on that last bit, which made Mai, Midori, and Pippi chuckle.
"Well, I don't like it when I get interrupted during a game, especially during a big boss fight or something," he replied, but with a hint of meekness in his voice, since he knew deep down that they were right to call him out.
"Yeah, but you don't have to be so rude about it," said Pippi.
"Yeah," said Ryuto, "and sometimes people will want or need to talk to you even when you're playing a game. It's inevitable."
"Exactly," said Mai, "life is still going on around you, and games can't always take priority over everything else."
"Yeah, there's more to life than games," said Ryuto. "Also, you can be really controlling and overly bossy, and really arrogant."
"And it leads to a lot of unnecessary disagreements and arguments," said Mai.
"And," said Ryuto, "during our games, you often lead us into disaster, like you did earlier today, and you won't listen to us when we try to warn you because you're just so friggin arrogant and you gotta have your way!"
"And whenever anybody doesn't do what you say or you somehow don't get your way, you often whine and have a hissy fit," said Mai.
"Not to mention you often won't let us have breaks from our games when we need them," said Pippi. "Like just now, you wouldn't let us have a pee break until now, and even then we had to beg and pester and annoy you to get you to allow it."

Gema blushed a bit at the mention of those girls.
"They may find you hot now," continued Mai (and it was true; they even came to the gaming club room just to peek in the door and ogle him).
Mai went on. "But they won't be so attracted to you once they actually get to know you and interact with you. Granted they are not very good people. In fact, they're bullies, and you are a much better person than them at heart, but they will still not want to interact with you, let alone be in a relationship with you, if you act towards them the way you frequently act around us."
"Exactly," said Ryuto, "and if you never change, you will grow old and die alone, and I'm pretty sure you don't want that."
They finally stopped talking, relieved to finally call him out and get all of that off their chests, and there was silence. Gema looked offended and hurt, which he was, and there was a part of him that wanted to snap back at them, but he remained silent. He knew deep down that they were right, and it was finally truly starting to sink in a bit now.
When he finally spoke, it was somewhat meek and without any irritation or abrasiveness. "Well, I...I get it, I really do, but uh, you didn't need to be so harsh about it. And you could have said something to me before now."
"We have tried to tell you before," said Ryuto. "Several times. But you never changed."
That was true, and he knew it.
"And yes," said Mai, "maybe we didn't need to be so harsh, but we've been putting up with your attitude for a while now, and we've had enough."
"And sometimes people need a big slap in the face," said Ryuto. "Sometimes people just need a wake up call like that."
"Hopefully this will be that to you," said Pippi.
"We do care about you," said Ryuto, "and we're telling you this as friends: you need to change your behavior."
Mai, Midori, and Pippi all nodded in agreement.
Gema sighed, taking in everything they said, and replied, "Alright, I'll...I'll work on it."
"Excellent. Thanks," said Ryuto. And with a smile, he added, "And if you change, you may even get some special benefits, like I did just now, getting to pee with the girls, and getting to laugh at Midori while you're at it."
"Hey!" said Midori.
Pippi, Mai, and Ryuto laughed. Even Gema grinned slightly in amusement.
"Alright," said Ryuto. "Should we keep walking and get back to the game?"
"Absolutely," said Gema. He and the others were about to get out their phones, but then he paused.
"Actually," said Gema, "how about we take a little break from the game, and just go for a nice walk for a little bit?"
The others were a bit taken aback by this, but they were also a bit pleased. Was Gema already starting to make an effort to change?
"Are you sure?" said Ryuto. "This isn't like you."
"Yes, seriously, I'd like to," said Gema.
After a moment, Ryuto replied.
"Alright, sounds good to me," he said. And one by one, Mai, Pippi, and Midori all agreed.
After walking in pleasant, relaxed silence for a bit, Midori spoke up.
"Hey Ryuto," she asked, "when we were peeing together, whose pussy was your favorite?"

He certainly wasn't going to completely change overnight, but it was a step in the right direction.
They continued to walk on the path through the woods in the big park, except not fixated on their mobile game anymore, but rather enjoying the fresh air and the environment around them, as well as each other's company.
Later that evening, Ryuto and Pippi were hanging out together at Ryuto's house. Ryuto's parents were out of town for the weekend, and he and Pippi were going to be having a sleepover at his house tonight (which both of their parents thankfully allowed).
Ryuto decided to finally talk to Pippi about her being upset earlier that day and clear things up.
