Hotel Transylvania version of Cinderella
Chapter 1
Murray : Once upon a time in a faraway land, there was a large land named Transylvania. Peaceful, prosperous and rich in romance and tradition.
Here in a stately chateau, there lived a widowed gentleman named Johnson and his little daughter, Cinderericka. Although he was a kind and devoted father, and gave his beloved child every luxury and comfort, yet he felt she needed a mother's care.
And then he married again, choosing for his second wife, a woman of good family with two daughters just Cinderella's age, by name, Lesley, and Mindy.
It was upon the untimely death of this good man, however, that the stepmother's true nature was revealed…cold, cruel and bitterly jealous of Cinderericka's charm and beauty, she was grimly determined to forward the interests of her own two awkward daughters.
Thus, as time went by, the chateau fell into disrepair, for the family fortunes were squandered upon the vain and selfish stepsisters, while Cinderericka was abused, humiliated and eventually forced to become a servant in her own house with her monster friends .
And yet, through it all, Cinderericka remained ever gentle and kind, for with each dawn she found new hope that someday, her dreams of happiness would come true.
Cinderericka: Eunice,Frank,Wanda, and Wayne some day I will be happy and my dreams will come true.
Eunice: I hope so too
Frank : Let's get some rest
Wayne and Wanda : Yeah
(Five birds open the curtains of a tower containing a bedroom, where a girl and her friends were sleeping; the birds try to awaken them until they flicks the male birds, much to their amusement)
Ericka: (laughs) Well, serves you right, spoiling people's best dreams.
(the birds chirp)
Ericka : Yes, I know it's a lovely morning, but...it was a lovely dream as well.
(the birds chirp inquisitively)
Cinderericka : What kind of a dream? Uh-uh. Can't warn. Because if you warn a wish, it won't come true And after all... (sings) A dream is a wish your heart makes, if you're fast asleep.
(more birds fly in)
Ericka : (singing) In dreams, you will lose your heartaches. Whatever you wish for, you keep. Have faith in your dreams and someday.
(Mice start to awaken as well)
Ericka : (singing) Your rainbow will coming grinning through, no matter how your heart is grieving. If you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true.
(suddenly, a clock chimes strikingly)
Ericka : Oh, that clock! Old killjoy. I hear you! "C'mon, get up," you say, "time to start another day." Even he orders me around. Well, there's one fact. They can't order me to stop dreaming. And maybe someday... (singing) The dreams that I wish will come true. (Hums as she gets ready for the day as the female mice shoo the male mice out)
Eunice: Good morning Ericka
Wanda: Morning girl
Female Mouse: Shoo! Shoo! Hurry up! C'mon, there. Shoo!
(the female monsters and birds help her wash as the female mice prep her outfit for the day, singing along with the girl)
Cinderericka : (singing) No matter how your heart is grieving, "( so true )", said Eunice if you keep on believing. The dream that you wish will come truuuuue!
