Part 17 (1 of 9)
~Elmore Police Station
They arrived at the police station, and Lapin jumped out of the car without opening the door, going right through it. Doc opened the back of her car to get Julius, Gumball, and Carmen out of it. Gumball was holding the Cactus, making it easier for Doc to drag them to the station, while Lapin was hopping as a rabbit would.
When Doc pushed open the door, he saw that the police station had been turned upside down. The desks, chairs, and other furniture were now on the ceiling while standing on the floor. However, the cops, including Doc, seemed unfazed, except for Lapin. Behind Clancy was a graph showing the crime rate in Elmore, which had been pointing upward ever since Doctor Nicole joined the force eight years ago.
"Um, Does this usually happen?" Lapin asks who is still on the "floor," looking up at the blue feline.
Doc replies without looking at him, "Only on the weekends." Then he jumps onto the ceiling, unaffected by gravity, while still carrying the three kids.
Inside the station, Clancy is talking to Frank, who is writing the reports that two of the Daisy Land theme park attractions, the mirror attraction, were destroyed, some kids blew one up, and others destroyed some of the go-karts. Steve (a soda can) was on his computer pretending to write some reports but was playing crossword puzzles. Cassandra (a coffee mug) was talking to Greg about hearing some noises from the park and seeing the lake's water rising so high it could be seen outside the woods.
Earl is walking out of the office of the chief of police, named the Colonel. The hot dog notices Nicole arriving at the office with her son, the bomb kid, the former delinquent, in her arms, and a slight pink rabbit wearing a white top hat and cloak.
Earl said, "Nicole, you got your son out of the hospital already?"
Doc growls, "He somehow destroyed the place when I got there." Lapin looks confused.
Earl knew this had happened twice this month.
"AGAIN!" Lapin jumps and gets stuck on the top of the "floor."
"Who's the rabbit"? Earl points to Lapin, who looks hungry as he walks around the "floor."
"He came with us to get the ghost kid out of jail."
Is he one of her family members, then?
"No, he's her roommate. Her father returned a few weeks ago."
Lapin starts to hallucinate as Doc talks, seeing the blue cat as ice cream, Gumball as a snow cone, Carmen as a hot pepper, and Julius as a jawbreaker. Doc leads them into another room. The cops remain the same, and Earl looks up and glares at him to get off the floor. Lapin still hallucinates, but Earl remains unchanged.
"Huh, that was pointless. You're already a hot dog." Lapin
For your information, the preferred term is "artificially flavored reconstituted meat snack." And it would help if you got off the floor. Earl orders the top hat-wearing Rabbit to get off the floor, but he sees the donuts that Clancy is eating and hops toward them while Earl catches up.
"Get back here, you rabbit swine!" Earl grabbed a rake to capture the pink Rabbit.
~Prison Cell
In one of the cells, Aphrodite, Clare, Ocho, Carrie, William, and Darrel are doing nothing. Inside the cell, Clare is trying to look around but bumps into the walls; Carrie is irritated by Casper's legs; Aphrodite starts biting her arms; Darrel has bandages around his torso from the wounds he had; Ocho looks briefly, then starts to sleep; and William plays the harmonica. Harmonicas are in every cell so people can pass the time or not get bored.
Doc opened the door, alerting the group. "Maggots," he said, "I've brought you some fresh meat." He then threw Gumball, Carmen, and Julius into the cells, slamming them all against the walls.
"After we get answers from all of you. I might not let any of you rot in this cell." She slams the cell door.
But she then opened it again. "By the way, Caroline, a pink rabbit with a top hat, is here to pick you up, and we will be interrogated first before you leave." She slammed the door again and then left the room.
Julius wakes up and screams after he lands on Carmen's body. The Cactus then wakes up after his scream and sees that Julius is on top of her.
First, she causes her to scream; then, in rage, Carmen kicks him in the gut so hard that he breaks through the wall into another jail cell.
"Get your hands off me, you pervert!" Carmen thought that Julius was trying to take advantage of her.
Clare stumbles around until she trips over Gumball's unconscious body. Seeing the turquoise feline in front of her, she furiously slaps him multiple times so fast it is hard to keep track.
"THIS IS FOR MAKING ME MISS THE DAMN BUS WHEN WE FIRST MET, YOU MONOTONE BLUE JACKASS!" Clare shouted as she slapped him for ten minutes, causing sin and tragedy to appear on his body. This caused him to wake up after being hit multiple times by Clare, who stopped to catch her breath.
Gumball now has slap marks on his face and doesn't seem bothered by this or the zippers on his body as he looks around to see that he is now in a prison cell with his friends.
"How did I end up in jail again after being released from the hospital?" Gumball asked.
"Again?" Clare and Carmen said in unison.
After cleaning his sunglasses, Darrel said, "It was back when he was five, and I told him not to play with the boiler."
Carmen asked, "Why were you two playing in the boiler room?!"
Well, the staff at the hospital didn't have a waiting room, so our parents locked us in the boiler room until they came to get us.
"That's completely irresponsible! What were your parents thinking?" Clare said.
"They put Darrell in charge."
"Who would leave two little kids alone in the boiler room?!" Carrie exclaimed.
"Aphrodite was there," Gumball said, pointing to the rat plant, who nodded.
"That just makes it worse," Clare exclaimed.
"We were bored out of our minds, so Aphrodite kept playing with the gears. But I tried to stop her, but she kept biting me. After I got Aphrodite off the gears, that guy (points to Gumball) turned the wheel to raise the heat in the room because he was feeling cold, which caused the explosion and getting thrown in jail." Darrel
"Wow, no wonder you two haven't talked to each other until now," Ocho said.
"No, that's when we met," Darrel said.
"What?!" Ocho, William, Carrie, Carmen, and Clare exclaimed in unison.
"She thought he was responsible, so we had some play dates until we were eight, but that doesn't answer how I got here," Gumball says, turning to Carrie as Aphrodite bites Carrie's feet, causing her to back away from the rat plant.
Oh, that. Well, Carmen showed up as a Tlupuhchi with fire powers, and you turned into something called the Frost Miser, then destroyed the hospital. Hahaha. Carrie's feet get licked, but Aphrodite apologizes to Carrie and then talks her into giving her licks.
Carrie starts laughing, "No, get off of me-hahaha." She tries to swat Aphrodite away but to no avail.
Clare says, "You turned into Frost, Mr.?" as she looks at Gumball, who then looks at Clare.
"Honestly, I have no idea what they're talking about. All I remember was seeing a beautiful angel from the sun, and now I'm in jail." Gumball said.
Clare opens one of the zippers on the Cabbit's right arm, causing it to fall off, and then a burst of blood emerges like a geyser. This freaks them out, except Aphrodite and Carmen, who look thirsty seeing all his blood. Then Frank shows up, opening the prison cell.
"Ms. Cooper, please come with me to the interrogation room."
Clare sighed, "Whatever," not caring that there was blood on her body but on the inside, she knew this didn't end well and reluctantly went with the fresh fry cop. Aphrodite plugged Gumball's right arm with her mouth, stopping the bleeding.
The kids in the cell were now covered in Gumball's blood; this disgusted all but Carmen, who looked delighted and licked some of it into her mouth, which disgusted Ocho after seeing Carmen do that.
~Clare Cooper
Inside the room was a desk with three chairs, one for the suspect and the two on the other side where Clancy and Doc were planning to interrogate Clare about the events this morning. Doc held up an image of Clare Cooper as a poster of her looking moppy in the photo.
"Okay, see, this is how it will go, Cooper," Clancy said. "You'll tell us what happened; then you can leave."
But...if you're lying to us, my partner here will punch your lights out, Kapoosh," Clancy said, trying to sound threatening.
"Kapoosh?" asked Clare.
A slam is heard on the table as Doc's fist slams it, causing a crack. She stands up, walks, and looks down on the teen, who seems scared of her.
We're the ones asking the questions here, YOU LITTLE TRAMP! So will you answer, or will I hog-tie your body to the back of the truck and drag it to the next town? Doc said, with her eyes glaring at Clare, who was now scared of the grown cat woman.
"I'll talk." Clare
"Excellent." Doc then returns to her seat.
Clare looks terrified at first, but then she takes multiple deep breaths.
"It all started when I woke up." The flashback starts as everything gets all trippy.

The alarm sounded from her clock, and she pressed down on the timer, turning it off. Some strands of brown were mixed in with her messy hair, which she held back as she walked to the bathroom, tossing Sally the snake onto the bed.
After brushing her teeth, she put some lime green hair dye on her brunette hair. She put on her clothes and then walked to the dining room, where her dad George was cooking breakfast as her mother, Kathleen, who almost looked like an older Clare but had short hair and wore her airline uniform, was about to go to work. George was a middle-aged man who was bald but had a brown beard and glasses. He gave Clare her breakfast, a pancake with two cherry eyes and the blueberries that formed a frown with whipped cream on the pancake.
Clare states, "I was eating my breakfast while my parents talked to me about how I felt after moving here a few months ago."
Clare told them she hadn't hated it as much as she used to. They thought this was a positive thing seeing that it must have something to do with her making friends on her first week of school. Ever since she "hung out with the deputy sheriff's son," they noticed that she hadn't been writing in her diary with her tears and ink or that she kept talking to herself while being mopey about her life. Clare was annoyed by the turquoise Cabbit that crashed into her when they first met.
After chatting with Mom and Dad, Clare was walking down the street with Rachel from school, texting on her phone to see if Debbie, a giant green pea girl, wanted to hang out. Unfortunately, the big green pea girl was with her boyfriend after he lost his crew to a fish. Rachel was still on her phone and took a selfie with her, then waved goodbye to Clare with a smile.
Clare sighed, causing a massive gust of wind to blow away everything before her, including Rachel, who flew away. Clare also felt a little envious that she didn't have a boyfriend yet.
"This day is just going to be exhausting. At least it won't end with some weirdo draping me in sorrow."
~Elmore Cafe
Clare enters the Elmore Café, which now sports a Virgo symbol on its signage. Inside, the café's walls are painted in shades of brown, and sitting at a table near a window, she finds her group waiting for her.
"I noticed Gumball, who was on the table sleeping like a cat (quite cute, but little bro can be very annoying), Darrel looking out of the window fixing his hair, and Ocho losing his temper and shouting at everything (seriously, why did Gumball allow this psycho to be part of our circle), and Carrie...ugh, she had that Cheshire cat smile and waving at me to come to the lousy table."
"Ugh, how did I end up getting stuck with these weird-"
She arrives at the table, but Carrie puts a whoopee cushion on her seat; when she sits down, the item deflates, making it sound like she farted — causing the ghost and the other three, except Nicolas, to laugh their butts off. At the same time, Clare looks embarrassed and grumpy from this joke. Clare grabs the item on her seat and then looks at Carrie, who smirks at Clare.
A whoopie cushion, seriously, Caroline?! What are you, five?!" Clare said.
"She's around 300 years old, sis," Gumball said as he stretched like a cat.
Yeah, is she technically a grandma's grandma? Darrel
"Wow, she must be so stupid if she got held back in school for so long?" Ocho
"Hey!" Carrie shouts at Ocho and throws water at his face, causing the eight-bit to yell at the ghost.
Then I heard the bell of the door ring, and William showed up looking creepy as he usually is. Though he used his hands, I removed that spiral punk as legs as he crawled toward our table. He hopped up to the chair using his wings, holding the menu for the Cafe.
"You know that neighbor I had living next door to me and delivering mail to the town?" Gumball sits on Clare's lap like a pet. However, she doesn't mind this and pets him like a pet.
"No," Clare says as she sips her drink.
Carrie asked, "Is he talking about the old purple guy with antlers?"
"What was his name again?" Darrel asked.
"Gary Hedges" Carrie
"Yes, he's dead," Gumball says bluntly, shocking everyone except for William, who is typing on his phone. Clare spits her drink at William's eye, causing him to screech in pain.
William typed all of this on his phone. "Oh right, they said he committed suicide yesterday after he jumped off the roof of his house," he added.
"He was holding a small boulder, but after he fell off the roof and hit the ground, the ball rolled away from his house and into the bus stop."
This causes Darrel to spit out his drink and hit Carrie in the face with her eyeliner, causing it to run down his cheek.
Clare is petting Gumball again, causing him to purr, and his teeth immediately chattered in response to the pat on the head.
"So, how did your conversation with Carmen go?" Clare asked the Cabbit.
Gumball's eyes widen as he remembers meeting her at lunch yesterday. She had greeted him, and his ears perked up; his mouth gaped, then he jumped out of the school window, causing it to shatter.
Gumball then covered his ears in shame and said, "It didn't end well."
She could use some persuasion. Ocho holds out a blanket.
Clare asked, "What's that?" as she looked at the blanket Ocho was holding.
"It's the blanket I had when I was a baby."
"Daw," Clare replied with a smile on her face.
"I use it as a gag to keep people's pets hostage," Ocho said menacingly.
Clare's expression turns horrified upon hearing this.
"So, does anyone here have any plans for today?" Darrel asked.
"Well, you and I are golfing with my uncle Mario."
"The Mario?" Clare scratches Gumball's head, then purrs and gently rubs its teeth together.
No, that's a different guy. Darrel, William, and Ocho jump off their chairs, then grab Gumball Galatia style before him.
But before Gumball leaves with Ocho, he whispers something in Clare's ear, which cheers her up. Clare starts to giggle.
"What are you so happy about?" Carrie
"Oh, nothing. It's nice that we can have some time away from the guys, that's all." Clare said.
Carrie agrees, but then she has a mischievous smile.
"You are going to hate me for this."
"Hate you for what?!" Carrie shouts at Clare, causing her to fly into the teen's mouth without warning, causing her to fall off the table.
When Carrie rises in Claire's body, her form resembles that of a ring girl, as she crawls like a spider before going on a rampage in the Cafe, destroying the furniture and devouring the food, causing panic in the restaurant.
~Elmore Park
An hour later, now at the park. Clare looked furious at the ghost for what happened in the Café. Carrie had that stupid smug look on her face, not caring about Clare's feelings.
"I cannot believe you made me do that."
"What, it was funny."
"You are now banned from the café and must pay for all the damages you caused."
"(Blows raspberries at Clare) What are you going to do? Go home and cry about it in your little diary, you mopey crybaby." -Carrie
"This is not about you(Sounding like chew)." Clare
"Not a bad chew?" Carrie
No, NOT ABOUT YOU(still sounding like chew)."Clare shouts
Carrie said, "I can't eat anything, remember? I'm a ghost."
"Whatever, Cream Puff," Clare muttered.
Carrie's smug smile disappears, and she turns her head towards Clare. After hearing those two words, Carrie now has red on her face.
With one of her eyebrows raised, Carrie asked, "What did you say to me?"
"(smug) I said What...ever (slow motion as it zooms to Clare's mouth) Cream... Puff." After hearing those words, Carrie's mouth drops, and her face is as red as a tomato.
This gets Carrie mad as she is about to charge at Clare but is glomped by a Venus fly trap with arms. Who pins her down to the ground and starts licking the ghost. This causes Clare to laugh as Carrie gets covered in the plant's saliva. But then Clare feels pain in her butt as a turtle bites her on the butt, causing her to shriek. She tries to get the turtle off her until she pulls it off her ripping the back of her pants when Carrie goes through the plant to get out of its grip. The two girls start running toward the woods as the two creatures chase after them. Carrie looks at Clare's back and snickers.
"Heh heh, Are those daisy the donkey un-."
"Be quiet, cream puff!"
Clare runs towards the tree and claws her way to the top while trembling like a frightened cat. In contrast, Carrie floats up to the trees. The evil turtle and Aphrodite try to climb the trees but to no avail. The animals get angry and then hiss at them before leaving the woods. After a few minutes, the two girls climb down the trees-Carrie slams her butt into Clare's face causing her to fall from the tree and into a pile of leaves below.
Carrie laughs at her. When Clare gets up, she spits the leaves at Carrie's mouth, causing the ghost to fall. Without emotion, the spirit gets up and removes the leaf from her mouth.
"Gross." Carrie tosses the leaf away.
"Severs you right, Cream Puff." Clare
Carrie slowly realizes that Nicolas told Claire about her embracing underwear.
"When I get my hands on him, I'm gonna." Before she could finish, two people arrived out of the bush: a forest ranger and a kappa.
"Hi, We're here to kill both of you." Holz
"And to avenge our fallen comrades." Blase
"Oh no, it's those Franklin Steins!" Carrie shouts, her face contorted in fear as if she were a painting of a scream.
"Get them, a creature of the forest," Holz said as a giant blue robotic jaguar jumped out of the tree and landed right in front of Clare and Carrie, the obnoxious ghost.
Carrie started panicking and ran around in circles, waving a white flag. Meanwhile, I, on the other hand, full of confidence, faced the giant menace head-on and used my zipper powers to fight the beast. I dodged its claws and then used my zippers to swing around the mechanical beast's body as it attempted to attack Carrie with flamethrower breath.
After hitting a three-foot landing behind the monster, the zippers on the beast activate, causing the giant jaguar robot to fall apart and explode into millions of coins.
The two Franklin students stood there with crossed arms, unimpressed that Clare had taken out their jaguar.
"Time for Plan B," Holz said, crossing her arms and crushing her knuckles.
"You got it, Sis," Blase says as he lifts his arm.
The two transform into cyborgs, looking like wooden blocks and a scuba diver.
"Look, Carrie, it would be best to tackle this together."
Clare hears Carrie's voice and turns around to see that the ghost has been kidnapped by Blase, who then runs away.
"God Damn It, Carrie!" Clare runs toward the Subba Diver, who uses his powers to make the water swirl away. But the Wood Woman blocks her path, slams her chest like a gorilla, and then looks down on the teenager, who looks like an ant.
Clare put her arms up, ready to defend herself. "How did this happen?"
"End of the line, Daria," Holz said just before Gumball and Ocho kicked her in the side, sending her flying into the trees.
Clare watches as Gumball stands defiantly while Ocho's face turns red with rage.
"We can handle the walking block of wood and save Carrie," Ocho summons Pinky to get Clare to catch up with Blase. Then a timber shout is heard as a tree falls towards them, but the three dodge it. Holz is now distracted by the Cabbit, and Ocho prepares to battle her.
~Bubbles
Clare uses Pinky as a skateboarder to chase after Blase. She catches up with him and punches him in the back of his head, sending him skipping like a rock and falling into the lake. Clare ties her jacket to her waist, takes a breath, and jumps into the lake to save Carrie as Pinky stays behind.
Under the sea, Clare, holding her breath, spots Blase, who notices her. They exchange a death glare, and he fires a harpoon from his arm cannon. Clare swims towards him, and he fires a bubble at Clare's face, causing her to scream in pain.
"Gahh FUCKING BUBBLES! " Clare gets kicked in the chest by the scuba diver.
Blase says, "You will never win this, the underdog always has his day, and you shall be in Davy Jones's locker." Blase is speaking in a pirate accent for some reason.
Clare uses her sins and tragedies to punch through Blase's container, which is ripped open, freeing Carrie and spreading the sulfuric acid into his tank. Blase attempts to take Clare down with him, only for the girl to kick him so hard in the face she destroys his back, sending him down to Davy Jones' Locker.
Carrie grabbed Clare as she started to drown. They swam up towards the lake and jumped out of the water, and Gumball was there along with Darrel, Ocho, Carmen, William, and a strange creature that was a half rat and half Venus Flytrap.
Guessing you two took down that timber gal while I was out, little bro?" Clare looks at Gumball.
No, Aphrodite did that; she's right over there." He points to the albino rat plant, who groans, indicating she just said "sup."
Gumball asks her if she finished him off before she got out of the water, and she justifies this by saying she was drowning. William is hit by a bubble that causes him to screech like a bat and fall.
All look on in shock to see Blase still alive but badly damaged. He glares at Aphrodite, who killed his sister and fired a harpoon at the rat. Nicolas, however, pushes her out of the way and is hit through the chest and heart.
It seems that you didn't. Nicolas collapsed afterward.
Clare looked in shock, then turned her head and glared at the scuba kappa with her red eyes.
"Don't worry, lass; you shall join him and your crew as victims of my redemption song." He was about to fire the bubble from his mouth, only for Clare's Stand to slam Blase in the top of his head with her left arm.
She then throws Blase into the air and repeatedly punches him, causing the zippered seams to rip him apart into pieces like chunks of chum.
"Sorry to burst your bubble, but you are the one who will be sleeping in Davy Jones' Locker tonight," Clare says, her voice echoing across the water. She watches his remains fall into the lake and disappear beneath the surface. Turning around, she takes a few steps back from the water's edge.
"Go, fish," she said. The lake then erupted like a geyser, and she fell unconscious.
[Art Style Returns To Normal]
"So, let me get this straight. My son was in the hospital because he was hit through the chest by a scuba diver who shoots bubbles to protect his pet plant, which evolved into some organic mammal, and you chopped him up by summoning zippers on him?" Clancy writes the report on her notepad with her paw running over it.
Yes, Officer, he and some of his friends from Franklin Junior High were trying to kill us." Clare said.
"What do you think we should do, Doc?" Clancy asks his deputy.
"We need to get more information from those other kids. Get her out of here." Doc gets Frank and Cassandra to help him drag Clare out of the interrogation room.
"Wait, does this mean I get to go home?!" Clare exclaimed as she was being dragged away back to her cell.
"No," Doc replied bluntly.
"Oh, come on!" Clare shouts, causing nearby windows to break from the force of her screams. The Officer quickly places a muzzle over her mouth to silence her.
"So, who's next?" Clancy asked Doc as he read the report while looking at an image of an award-winning sausage.
One of Earl's sons will go by the nickname "Hot Dog Guy."
"Alright, send him in," Clancy ordered the guard to bring in the following child for interrogation.
