Chapter 1 Suprise baby

Robin and Regina sat down at a booth in Granny's, Roland beside them.

It had been a good day, they had taken Roland to the park, and let him burn off some energy. Then they went back to the house, and watched a movie- well Roland didn't, he fell asleep so it was just Regina and Robin watching it! But still, it was nice! They felt like a family. The only person that was missing was Henry, who was staying with Snow and Charming.

"Roland, what do you fancy for dinner sweetie?" Regina asked, passing the menu to the little boy

"Mac and Cheese please mama!" he grinned, his eyes dancing with excitement, Mac and Cheese was his favourite meal!

"I shouldn't have asked!" Regina giggled, smiling at Robin; she knew Roland would say that

The bell jingled loudly, Emma entered, a rather nervous look on her face as she headed over to Regina.

"Hey- uhm- Regina, can I talk to you really quick?" she asked, wringing her hands together

Regina rolled her eyes at the blonde, recalling their argument over Henry earlier. Emma wanted to go back to New York, taking Henry with her. This upset Regina, she couldn't lose her son, not again. She loved Henry so much and she knew Henry loved her too; she wouldn't be the only one that was miserable if Emma's decision became final.

"Sure" Regina nodded, standing up from the booth

Emma walked round to the back of Granny's, far enough away from Robin. Regina frowned but didn't question the blonde. It wasn't worth her time.

"If you want to talk about going back to New York, I already said I'm not okay with it," Regina started

"That's not what I want to talk to you about" Emma interrupted

"Then make whatever you have to say quick, I have to get back to Roland and Robin" she huffed

"Hook and I fell through Zelena's time portal. Something happened and," Emma started

"Marian?" the women heard Robin say from in the diner

Regina froze in her place, her head turning to Emma, staring into her guilt-filled eyes.

"I'm so sorry, it was an accident! I didn't mean to," Emma started

But Regina didn't want to hear it, let alone believe it. She walked back into the diner and saw Robin standing with his dead wife.

"I thought you were dead, I thought I would never see you again!" Robin gushed in disbelief

"And I you" Marian smiled, wrapping her arms around him

"Mama?" she heard the little boy say

Regina's heart broke at him saying that. Her happy ending was truly over. All because of Emma. She wanted to leave, but for some reason, her feet were glued to the spot. Her lungs were on fire, her chest tight, making it incredibly hard to breathe. She had to get out, she needed fresh air.

She walked as fast as she could towards the door, rushing out into the cold night air. She stopped, breathing heavily, her heart racing.

"REGINA!" she heard Emma yell from behind her

"Regina, I am so, so sorry! I had no idea!" she continued

"Just go away Emma" Regina mumbled

"Regina, please listen to me, I am really, really sorry" Emma begged

"I am not interested in your apologies, Miss Swan! You can't change it, it's too late!" Regina snapped

"I know" Emma sighed

The door opened again, and Robin rushed out, along with Marian.

"Regina, are you okay?" Robin asked

Regina couldn't look at him.

"Robin, be careful! That's the Evil Queen!" Marian hissed, pulling him back

"She's not evil Marian, she's changed!" Robin reassured her

"How do you know that?" Marian huffed

"Just come and meet her, I know you'll change your mind. I want you two to get along" Robin begged

"Why? Why do you want us to get along?" Marian frowned

Then it clicked, she looked over to the former Evil Queen, then back to her husband, bewildered.

"Are you two- are you two together?" she stuttered

"Marian," Robin started

"Are you telling me you let Roland, OUR SON, near that- THAT MONSTER!" she growled

Regina cringed at the word. She was many things, but a monster wasn't one of them.

The door opened yet again when Snow and Henry stepped out.

"What's going on? Regina, are you alright?" she frowned

"Mom?" Henry chimed in

"How could you do this? You are still married to me! And when you move on, you fall in love with the Evil Queen? That is ridiculous Robin!" Marian screamed

Regina couldn't stand it. She turned away, walking home, ignoring Snow, Henry and Emma calling after her.

She got home, crashing onto the sofa, her tears finally flowing. She sobbed, her heart aching.

Villains don't get happy endings, how did she think she deserved one?

Nine Months later...

Henry and Regina sat in Granny's diner, reading the menu. Emma, not wanting to cause Regina any more pain, had decided to stay. Henry spent as much time with Regina as he possibly could. He loved spending time with her, she enjoyed it too. Henry knew she was in pain; her heart ached after Robin got back with Marian. But having Henry around, took her mind off of it all. She felt able to move on. All she needed was Henry.

For some reason, Regina didn't feel so well, she had woken up this morning and for the first hour, had been hugging the toilet, throwing up uncontrollably. She'd thought nothing of it really, it was very rare for her to get sick, but she had been around Henry a lot this week and he had been at school, he caught all kinds of sickness bugs while he was there. She assumed he'd passed one onto her. Either that or it was her period, she hadn't had one for months, which she thought was odd, she was definitely due for one.

She had to admit, she was far from feeling better. Her head was pounding, she still felt sick and the pain in her stomach was incredibly uncomfortable for her. But she didn't want to cancel and let Henry down. It was her week with him, she didn't want to cancel. She figured once Zelena got here, she would start feeling a bit better.

Regina had made an effort to get along with her sister. She had to say, it was working. They had grown quite close over the months. Henry liked spending time with Zelena too. They had lunch together as a group of three every week. All of them looked forward to it.

"So Mom, what do you fancy for dinner?" Henry asked, a cheeky grin on his face

"Well from that look, I take it that you want pizza?" Regina smiled

"Pizza sounds good!" he smiled back

"Pizza it is then!" she nodded, placing a hand on her pounding forehead

"Mom? Are you okay? You've not been well all morning!" Henry asked, his concern for his Mother growing

"I'm fine Henry, a headache has just started that's all" she lied, she didn't want to worry him

"No it hasn't mom, you were throwing up this morning! I heard you!" he argued

"Henry it's just a sickness bug I'm sure, I'll be fine" she reassured him, smiling weakly

"Now, go and order your pizza and a glass of water for me" she added, winking at him

Henry was about to move when Robin appeared in front of the table, staring at the two of them. Regina suddenly felt her heart beating like a drum. She hadn't seen Robin for at least a month and had gone even longer without speaking to him. Why was he here?

"Sorry to interrupt, Regina can I talk to you?" he said, wringing his hands

"My mom doesn't want to talk to you" Henry snarled, glaring at him

Regina knew that Henry hadn't particularly been impressed with Robin's actions toward Regina. He was very protective of his mother, he hated seeing her hurt. Robin had done more than just hurt her, he had broken her heart. You don't forgive someone for that.

"Henry sweetie, it's okay! Look, why don't you call Emma and get her to have lunch with you instead and then come home later? I need to go home and go to bed" Regina decided, standing up and dropping a kiss on his forehead

"Okay Mom, I'll see you later" he nodded, dashing off with his phone, leaving Robin and Regina alone

"Let's go round the back" Regina sighed, walking out of the room and down the corridor

"So uhm, what can I do for you?" she asked, stopping once they were far enough away from prying eyes

"I just wanted to check on you- how are you?" he asked

"I'm fine" Regina shrugged

"You don't look fine, you look like you're about to throw up on my shoes! What's going on?" he insisted, placing a hand on her arm, making her flinch away from the touch

"I'm just tired, look, Robin, I really don't have time to stand here and talk to you, I have things to do and you have your son and your wife to go back to" Regina snapped, she knew agreeing to talk to him was a bad idea

"Regina please, let me speak. I don't love Marian, I love you!" he argued

"That may be the case, but I can't do anything with that, and neither can you! You're married to a woman that loves you; you have a son with her! You made a vow and you're going to keep it and if you're finding it hard to do that then you need to find a way to forget about me because you need to think about them! That's the end of the conversation!" she argued, turning away from him

"Regina, I can't have a life with them knowing that you aren't happy! I love you, I loved Marian once but then she died and I moved on and fell in love with you! Things are different now with her, we're not happy" he sighed, pulling him back to face her

"Robin, there's nothing I can do, you just have to find a way to be happy" she mumbled, turning her back to him to look out of the window

"Regina" he insists

"Go away" she sighed, staring out of the window, a tear rolling down her cheek

"As you wish" he sighed, walking away

Zelena walked into Granny's Diner, scanning the room for her nephew and sister. She frowned; they were nowhere to be seen. That's odd; her sister was never late for anything.

Confused, she looked over at the clock, the time reading 1:30 p.m., exactly the time they had agreed to meet. So where were they?

She looked around again, making sure that she definitely hadn't missed them. Her eye fell on Robin walking out of the back room and taking a seat in one of the empty booths, a sad look on his face. She walked over to him, she hadn't seen the man for months, let alone spoken to him. His actions towards her sister had been unkind and really, she didn't want to talk to him, but she figured he might have scared Regina off.

She walked over to him

"Hi Zelena" he sighed

"Hi" she mumbled

"Regina's round the back if you're looking for her, you might want to take a look at her, she's not feeling too good" he explained

"Uh-huh. What were you doing talking to her anyway?" she frowned, her protective side showing

"I was trying to make things up with her, but uhm- she wasn't interested" he shrugged

"Well you did break her heart so I don't blame her really Robin" She pointed out

"Any advice on how to make it better?" he asked

"Time, space, a miracle maybe? Look, Robin, I don't know, you hurt her pretty badly, I don't think she will forgive you in all honesty. I wish I could say she would but if you did this to any other person I'm pretty sure they'd do the same as what she is doing. Now I have to go and make sure she's okay" she sighed, turning away from him towards the back room

She walked down the corridor, finding Regina, staring out of the window, an angry look on her face.

"Hey," Zelena said calmly, placing a hand on her shoulder

"Did Robin send you to give me a pep talk?" she huffed

"No, we're supposed to have lunch together. I bumped into him though; I think he feels pretty bad for what he did"

"So he should" Regina shrugged

"Where's Henry? I thought we were having lunch together?" Zelena frowned, realising he wasn't anywhere to be seen

"Robin interrupted us when we were sat down so I told him to go and call Emma and go for lunch with her instead. He holds more of a grudge with him than I do and that's saying something!" she explained

"He's very protective of his mother, just like you're very protective of him" Zelena smiled

There was silence; Regina continued staring out of the window. Zelena knew something wasn't right with her sister, far beyond problems with Robin. She looked tired, pale, a little bit feverish- just unwell in general.

"You okay sis? You don't look so good" Zelena asked, examining her sister's pale face

"I don't feel very well" she whispered, closing her eyes and taking deep breaths and rubbing her stomach gently

"Is it your time of the month?" Zelena questioned, knowing that her sister's periods were always painful and made her ill

"It could be, I haven't had one for ages... but I'm having really... bad... cramps... ahh" she moaned between breaths

"When did they start?"

"This morning when I woke up, my back hurts too and I feel sick"

"Could just be a really bad period, do you want me to take you home so you can rest?" she offered

"Yeah, but I need to go to the bathroom first" She nodded

"Okay, I'll wait out here for you" Zelena nodded back

"Ugh, here comes another cramp!" she cried, burying her head on her sister's shoulder

"It's okay! Just take some deep breaths until it passes" Zelena reassured her, rubbing her back soothingly with her free hand, the one that wasn't being crushed by her grip

"This is a really bad period!" she whimpered

"Are you bleeding at all?" Zelena asked

"No, it's taking ages to start! I felt a gush of what I thought was blood this morning but it wasn't, I just needed a wee" she cried again, continuing to squeeze the blood out of Zelena's hand

"Huh, maybe it's just really bad trapped wind. Has your cramp gone?" Zelena sighed, feeling the grip on her hand loosen

"Yeah" she mumbled

"Go to the bathroom and see what happens and then we'll take you home. If you're not any better in a couple of hours we'll go to the hospital, okay?" Zelena suggested, rubbing her sister's back comfortingly

"Can you come with me?" Regina asked, the fear evident in her eyes

"Of course" Zelena nodded, following her into the bathroom, guiding her into one of the cubicles and then standing by the sink

"Ahhhhhh! Owwww!"

"Another cramp?" Zelena asked

"Mhm"

Something didn't feel right to Regina. She had gone to the toilet because she felt like she needed to go, she felt burning and nothing but pain. When she sat on the toilet seat it got worse, she was bearing down uncontrollably, causing the pressure to ease the more that she did. She continued bearing down, as much as it hurt, stopping when she felt something, something that made her want to scream because she didn't know what it was.

"Zelena, I can feel something in between my legs!" Zelena heard Regina shout from the cubicle, fear laced in her voice

"It's probably blood from your period, it might be a heavy one and that's why it's so painful. Just sit on the toilet" Zelena instructed, trying to keep her sister calm

"Huhhhhh Zelena this really hurts! I can feel something down there! Ahhhhh!" she screamed

Zelena knew this was more than a period and more than trapped wind. Something more serious was going on here. But what?

She knew she had to do something, her sister was panicking. She never panicked like this and she never complained about pain, unless it was really bad.

"Alright sweetheart, its okay, don't panic! Can you unlock the door for me?" Zelena asked

There was no response, just screams and cries of pain that made Zelena's blood turn to ice.

"Regina, unlock the door for me so I can take a look," Zelena said again, trying to keep her voice calm

But Regina was in agony, she couldn't move. She felt like she was being stabbed continuously, she was glued to the toilet seat, if she moved she felt like the pain would kill her off.

"Zelena please help me it hurts so bad!" Regina cried again

"I know, I know, but I can't help you unless you unlock the door" Zelena sighed

She heard the lock on the door click open. Zelena pushed the door, revealing her sister hunched over the toilet, her forehead beaded with sweat and her cheek covered in tears, her body trembling in pain. Zelena took one of her sisters shaking hands into her own to try and calm her down, closing the toilet door with her foot to give them some privacy.

"Where does it hurt?" Zelena asked

"My stomach, ahhhh!" Regina whimpered, her voice shaking in pain, the iron grip she had on Zelena's hand getting tighter

"Whereabouts?" Zelena questioned

She watched as Regina pointed to a spot just above her hips.

"Here?" Zelena asked, pressing on it gently, making Regina cry out in pain

"Owwwww! Please make it stop!" she cried again

"Alright sis, I'm going to have to pull your jeans down a bit to see what's going on okay?" Zelena explained, rubbing her hand comfortingly

Regina nodded frantically, more tears spilling from her eyes.

Zelena pulled the material of her jeans down gently, along with her panties. What she saw made her eyes widen in shock.

"Regina, it's not your period and it's definitely not trapped wind. You're having a baby!" Zelena gushed, her eyes widening in shock

"What?! No, I can't be pregnant! Ahhhhh!" Regina cried out, her voice filling with fear

Suddenly, a swirl of purple smoke surrounded Regina. When it disappeared, her stomach was triple the size it was before. She was pregnant.

"Looks like you're little one wanted to surprise you!" Zelena smiled

Regina stared at her bump in shock. She couldn't be pregnant, how on earth was she pregnant?!

"No, no, no! I can't be pregnant! This doesn't make sense, AHHHHHHHHHH!" She cried out

"Sweetheart you're in labour; I can see the baby's head!" Zelena replied

Regina started to cry hysterically, her body pushing naturally at the same time, this baby was coming fast! Zelena knew she would need help; Regina needed someone to keep her sister calm while Zelena delivered the baby. She cast her mind back to who'd she seen when she'd walked in. There was no sign of Snow or Emma or anyone useful. Apart from one person, she knew Regina would flip out if her sister even suggested it. But she didn't have a choice. She'd have to go and get Robin.

"Sweetheart listen to me, I'm going to have to go and get help okay? I will be right back, but I need you not to push and you need to breathe in and out nice and slowly okay? Can you do that?" Zelena asked

Regina nodded, taking in deep breaths

"Good, that's good, keep doing that!" Zelena encouraged

The toilet door opened, making both sisters look up with a frown.

"Regina?" they heard a familiar voice say

It was Robin. Regina let out a moan, half out of annoyance, half out of pain. The cubicle door opened, revealing his concerned face, his eyes widening in shock.

"What the hell is going on?" he frowned

"Zelena please, I don't want him in here, get him out!" Regina cried

"You heard her, go!" Zelena instructed

"I'm not going anywhere until you tell me what's going on!" Robin snapped

"Ah! Why do you care?! Go back to your wife!" Regina snapped back

"Alright, let's just everyone calm down, the stress and arguing aren't going to help anyone! Regina is having a baby," Zelena started, trying to break the tension

"YOU'RE PREGNANT?! AND YOU WERE GOING TO TELL ME THIS WHEN?!" Robin yelled

"I would have told you if I knew!" Regina screamed back

"How can you not know you're pregnant?!" Robin argued

"I DON'T KNOW SHERLOCK, GO AND FIGURE IT OUT!" Regina yelled, the pain taking over

"ENOUGH!" Zelena yelled, silencing the two of them

"Robin, if you want to be helpful, go and get me some towels and see if Emma and Mary Margaret are around in the diner"

"Are you telling me to leave?" he asked

"Yes I am telling you to leave. Why? Because my sister has gone 9 months, not knowing that she is pregnant, is now in labour and in the middle of giving birth, she is scared and YOU ARE STRESSING HER OUT! SO GET OUT!" Zelena snapped, her tone making Regina jump

Robin left frantically, Regina breathing a sigh of relief.

"Thank you" she breathed

"No problem" Zelena winked

Regina let out another cry of pain, making everything turn back to reality. Zelena crouched down beside her sister, noticing that the top of the baby's head was still in the same position, not fully out but a little bit visible.

"Zelena I'm scared" Regina whimpered

"Hey, hey, it's going to be okay, I promise" Zelena reassured her, taking her hand again

"You're doing amazing" Robin encouraged from behind her

"It hurts so bad, ahhhhh!" Regina cried

"I know, I know, but it'll be over soon" Zelena reassured, rubbing her hand comfortingly

"Will the baby be okay?" Regina asked

Zelena was about to reply when they heard the toilet door open again

"Zelena? Regina?" they heard a voice say

It was Snow; Zelena breathed a sigh of relief. She wasn't on her own anymore.

She opened the cubicle door, allowing Snow to see the current state that Regina was in. Her jaw dropped to the floor.

"I thought Robin was going crazy when he said she was having a baby!" Snow exclaimed

"Nope, he definitely wasn't" Zelena smiled

"HE REALLY WASN'T, AHHHHHHH!" Regina cried through a contraction

"Alright, alright, just breathe, in and out nice and slow" Zelena reassured, rubbing her sister's back

"I can't" she whimpered

"You can, you're doing it!" Zelena smiled

"I'm going to go and get some towels" Snow decided

"I already sent Robin to get them" Zelena frowned

"I know, I said I'd get them instead, he looked a bit too confused to do anything" Snow smirked, walking out of the toilet

A few minutes later, she came back, placing the towels on the sink.

Regina let out another cry of pain, bearing down again, her whole body shaking with nerves, her hand resting on her bump.

"We need to move her, get her somewhere comfortable, she's terrified!" Snow exclaimed

Zelena nodded, helping her sister through the contraction

"Regina, we need to get you somewhere more comfortable, okay?" Zelena explained

"Mhm" Regina nodded, closing her eyes

Zelena clicked her fingers, watching as her sister changed into a nightgown. She then took her sister's hands into her own, helping her to slowly stand up and walk out of the cubicle. They nearly got to the door when a contraction took over, making Regina stop and cry out.

"Alright, alright, sit down for a minute" Zelena instructed, helping her to squat down onto the floor, watching as she put her chin to her chest, the body language that her body is pushing her baby out

"Zelena she's pushing, we need to move her now!" Snow whispered in alarm

"Snow is right, come on sweetie" Zelena nodded, trying to help my sister back up, but she wouldn't budge

"Zelena I can't move! I need to push!" Regina cried, continuing to bear down

"We're not moving, she's having this baby here" Zelena sighed

"But," Snow started

"Snow, she can't walk, we can't do anything, this baby is coming now! I need you to swap places with me so I can deliver the baby" Zelena said firmly

"No, Zelena don't leave me!" Regina whimpered, holding on tightly to my hands

"Regina, I have to deliver your baby!" Zelena argued

"Zelena please, I'm really scared! I need you" she cried again

"Alright, fine. Snow you'll have to deliver the baby" Zelena sighed

"Me?" she says, her eyes widening in surprise

"Yes, you, you know what to do so do it!" Zelena snapped

"Okay, okay, I need your medical kit though" she nodded

Zelena clicked her fingers, her bag appearing in my hand. She passed it to her carefully.

"Zelenaaaa!" Regina cried, another contraction taking over

"Hey, hey, come here, its okay" Zelena whispered, pulling her into her arms

"Alright Regina, push as hard as you can for me!" Snow instructed

Zelena felt her sister grab onto her shoulders tightly, bearing down and pushing as hard as she could, a scream escaping from her lips.

"Good, really good, keep that going!" Snow encouraged

"I can't Zelena, I can't!" Regina cried

"Yes you can, you're doing so well, just a bit more and you'll be done" Zelena reassured her

"Ahhhhhhhhhh!" she cried, pushing again

"Stop, Regina, breathe in and out nice and slow!" Snow announced, watching as the baby's head began to crown

"Did I do something wrong?" Regina asked, looking at Zelena with panic in her eyes

"No sweetie, the baby's head is just crowning and we don't want you to tear so you have to breathe until Snow tells you that you can push again" Zelena explained

"It hurts so bad!" she whimpered, burying her head in Zelena's shoulder

"I know, I know" Zelena sighed, rubbing her back soothingly as she continued to take slow deep breaths

"Thank you for being here for me" she whispered, squeezing my free hand

"My pleasure, it's not the day I had planned but it's definitely more eventful than what it would have been, I get a niece or a nephew!" she smiled

"That's,"

"Regina, push again for me!" Snow interrupted

Regina pushed again, her hand squeezing the life out of Zelena's, her nails digging into her shoulder, a blood-curdling scream escaping from her lips as the baby slid into view. Regina slumped back into her sister in relief. There was silence for a minute as Snow rubbed the baby's back and mouth, clearing its airways, a cry escaping from their lips, making us all breathe a sigh of relief.

"It's a perfect baby girl!" Snow announced

"You did it, little sis, I'm so proud of you!" Zelena smiled, kissing her sister's forehead

"You wanna see your baby?" Snow asked, wrapping the baby up in a towel

Regina nodded frantically

Snow passed the tiny little bundle over to Regina. She stared at her beautiful little girl, who had been inside her for 9 months without her knowledge. How could she not have known? That would be a question she would be asking for the rest of her life, but right now, she didn't care. She had a little girl to take care of.

"She's beautiful Sis" Zelena smiled, peering over to look at her niece

"She is" Regina nodded

"Should we get you home?" Zelena suggested

Regina nodded, Zelena transporting them back to Regina's room. Carefully, she climbed into bed, her baby girl still in her arms. Once she was comfy, she went back to staring at her now-sleeping baby, stroking her head softly.

"We'll sort all of this out, don't you worry" Regina whispered to her, kiss her head gently

Zelena came into the room. She couldn't help but smile at the sight of her sister with a smile on her face, looking down at her little girl.

"What are you smiling at?" Regina frowned

"Nothing" Zelena smiled back

"How are you feeling?" she added

"A little sore and tired, but I'll be fine" Regina nodded

"It definitely wasn't your period!" Zelena laughed

"It wasn't trapped wind either!" Regina smirked

"Did you not have any symptoms at all throughout the nine months? She's a full-term baby" Zelena asked

"Now that I think about it, things have started to make sense. When I was sick for a month straight and thought I had that sickness bug Henry had, and then there's my period" Regina sighed

"I can't believe I missed the signs, even as a midwife!" Zelena laughed

"Magic is strange" Regina mumbled, smiling at her little girl

"Indeed" Zelena nodded

"I'm just happy she's healthy and safe" Regina whispered

"What am I going to do about Robin?" she added, leaning back against the pillows

"Maybe that's something you can think about when you've had some sleep" Zelena suggested

"I feel bad for snapping at him, I was just so angry at him for everything" she continued

"I know, I know, and you have every right, we're all mad at him" Zelena nodded

"I never stopped loving him, never. I love him so much, but I know I can't have him, but now we have a baby together and he won't be able to see her because of Marian, I don't want to put her through that" she sighed

"Why don't we think about this later, okay?" Zelena smiled, noticing that Regina was getting upset

Regina nodded

"Do you have a name for her?" Zelena added

"Isabella" Regina smiled

"It's very nice to meet you Isabella" Zelena smiled, placing her finger in the baby's tiny hand

"Do you want to hold her?" Regina offered

"If you don't mind?" Zelena smiled

"Of course, I don't!" Regina smiled

She passed little Isabella over to Zelena with a smile. She watched as Zelena looked down at the tiny bundle placed in her arms, a smile spreading across her face.

"She's so cute!" Zelena whispered

"She is" Regina smiled, yawning, her body aching for sleep

"Why don't you get some rest? I can watch her" Zelena offered

Regina nodded, too tired to argue. She settled down into the pillows, falling into sleep.

Regina woke up three hours later, Zelena sat in a chair beside her.

"Hey" Regina whispered, her voice groggy from sleep

"Hey" Zelena smiled back

"How are you feeling?" Zelena asked

"Sore" Regina winced, sitting up

"Do you want some painkillers?" Zelena offered

"No, I'll be fine" Regina sighed

"Where's Isabella?" Regina frowned, noticing the baby wasn't with her sister

"She's in her crib" Zelena smiled

"She doesn't have a crib" Regina frowned

"She does now," Zelena said with a wink, nodding over to the end of the bed

"Do you want me to get her?" she added

Regina nodded, watching her sister move to the end of the bed, picking up the small baby who slept soundly. Carefully, she passed her over to Regina.

"I'll go and get you some water" Zelena decided, heading down to the kitchen, leaving Regina and Isabella alone

Regina couldn't stop staring at her beautiful little girl. She was so captivating, even though she was sleeping. It felt strange, knowing that this little baby was her own.

There was a knock on the bedroom door. Regina frowned; Zelena wouldn't knock on the door.

"Come in," Regina said nervously

The door opened, revealing Robin standing there.

"Robin" Regina breathed

"Hey" he smiled softly

"Come- come in" Regina stuttered

He walked into the room, sitting beside Regina

"She's beautiful Regina" Robin smiled, looking at the baby in her arms

"She is" Regina nodded

"I'm sorry I snapped at you, I was just so angry and stressed out," She added

"It's okay" he nodded

"Do you want to hold her?" she offered

Robin nodded.

She passed Isabella to him, watching him smile at the tiny bundle in his arms.

"You're so cute" he whispered, placing a kiss on her head

"She looks like you" Regina smiled

"Thank god she doesn't have my nose!" he laughed

"How are you feeling?" he added

"A little sore, but I'll be fine. I just can't be she's mine" she sighed

"Ours" Robin corrected her

"What?" Regina frowned

"Marian and I split up, that's what I came to tell you at Granny's... before you bit my head off" he explained

"Oh" was the only word Regina could get out of her mouth

"I want to be with you Regina, I want to make this work and be there for our baby, watch her grow I want to be there for you. I love you" he continued

She hated how he made her feel so weak so easily. Her love for him had never faded away, if anything it had grown. She needed to take this opportunity.

"Damn it Locksley" she whispered, a tear rolling down her cheek

They leaned into one another, sharing a passionate kiss. Regina had missed his scent, his embrace, everything. Robin had missed her too.

Isabella squirmed in Robin's arms, making both of them pull apart and giggle, staring lovingly at their little girl.

"Does our little one have a name?" Robin asked

"Isabella" Regina smiled

"Isabella- Hope Locksley"

"It's perfect" he smiled
