At HQ, Five and Miko had just returned from a mission.
"That's another clear on the board for us," said Miko while the two were celebrating.
"You two have been on a roll lately," said Zahra.
"What can we say, we finally started to get the hang of everything," said Five before kissing her on the cheek.
"Plus the new gear we got recently helps," said Miko as she looked at some weapons in her gauntlet.
"It also does not hurt that Mitch transferred to an overseas branch so he can't grief any of the glitches from the rest of us any more," said Adam who walked up with Cecil.
"That's true," said everyone else. Suddenly, the happy mood was cut off by the sound of alarms and the lights turning red around the HQ.
"Listen up everyone, we have a major mission on hand!" said Phil while storming in.
"What's going on, Phil?" asked Five.
"Mitch was on a case in Japan where a group of hackers had been using game items and creatures for real world battles in underground Glitch Contests," said Phil as he stood before all the employees.
"Sounds like a big mission, are we going to Japan?" asked Miko.
"I'm afraid not," said Phil.
"During the raid one of the hackers managed to upload a virus which hit all of Hinobi's console across the world and making them all glitch out unlike anything we have seen before," he said.
"Are you saying that we have a worldwide glitch on our hands?" asked Zahra.
"That's exactly what I'm saying," said Phil. Suddenly, the screens around the whole HQ changed to show security video from around town.
"Oh boy," said Five while watching all kinds of glitches running around and scaring people.
