As they've predicted, Mr. De Rochefort found out about Lili's entry through the channels and the trending news. The worry and anger in his tone through the call was clearly audible and twined with anger that even Sebastian and Leo who's eavesdropped shivered while Lili endured it all silently.

After finishing scolding his daughter, the business man ordered their butler to bring them all back to Monaco at once. Then two days of uneasiness later, they've returned.

They didn't even take the time to settle their belongings, her father has strictly told them to meet him the second they've set foot back in the house.

The mansion's atmosphere grew tenser as they walk up the luxurious stairs towards his work room; he stood from his chair behind the desk when Lili and Leo came in with their heads bowed down meanwhile Sebastian was ordered to stand outside.

He approaches the young adults with stern and angry eyes, and he sets them to Lili first. "I am very disappointed in you, Emilie. You know how much I loathe violence and conflict, and yet you chose to the exact things I don't want you to do! Have you not learned four years ago?"

Lili didn't dare to meet up his eyes, her head still hangs down with her hands intertwined together. Leo though was unfazed and puts a supportive hand on her shoulder then gazes to Mr. De Rochefort.

"But sir, with all due respect, lady Lili was an incredible fighter and she almost made it to the semi-!"

"And as for you." Mr. De Rochefort moves his glare to the young man. "I thought I could trust you as her bodyguard, it was YOUR job to keep her away from danger and report to me with honesty! You shouldn't have been encouraging my daughter behind my knowledge."

Leo clamps shut.

There was a short moment of silence. The business man rubs the space between his eyes then glares back down to his daughter. "From now on, you're prohibited from going outside the property until you've learned your lesson!" then he shifts towards Leo. "Leo Kliesen, I am discharging you from your duty; it is clear to me that you've been a bad influence to Emilie and you've violated my trust. You will leave with your things this minute."

This time, Lili whirled up to her father and was about to oppose when Leo have beaten her by a millisecond and bowed down. "Y...yes, sir."

That was the last thing the young man said before politely dismissing himself out the room, Lili and Sebastian could only watch him walk out the hallway then down back the entrance.

By the time Lili was excused from her father's office Leo was already outside the gate with his suitcases next to him and his bags on his shoulders, waiting for the cab to pick him up. Quickly she rushes down and out the mansion.

"Leo!"

The gate entry door bursts open, Leo jumped around at the sudden noise as the teenager runs out to him.

Her former bodyguard lowers down his phone and backs away from her as his eyes dart back to the window where her father's work room was located then to her, unsure and afraid for her sake. "My lady, you shouldn't be outside; your father might get more upset..." he frowns but Lili persists and shakes her head, grabbing a hold of his arm. "But I don't want you to leave, Leo."

"I have no reason to stay anymore."

Lili swallows hard then bows her head, slightly tugging his sleeve. She wishes to say the things she'd want to tell him, but she can't; she wanted to tell him he meant more to her than just another friend.

For the first time since those four years, she actually found someone who she could openly talk to about fighting and violence without having to think she'd gone crazy aside Sebastian. For the first time since those four years, she had a sparring friend. For the first time, she could open up without having the feeling to outclass him by her achievements and success to please her father.

Her father, while still remained incredibly dearly in her heart, meant little when she was talking to Leo — with him, it was just the two of them that matters, and she doesn't want to let it go...not let him go.

Leo sighs sadly. He really don't want to go either; after all the things they've been through, him leaving now just feels wrong. His original agenda of ruling the company has been completely diminished, and all he wants to do now was being there for Lili, but what can he do now?

"We'll still see each other again, right?" Lili says, finally gazing up to him after a pause of silence, her voice raise a little for hope. Leo chuckles and nods, adjusting the bags on his shoulder to ruffle her blonde locks gently. "Hey, of course. You still have my number, and I have yours. When you need a friend or a sparring match, maybe I can be assistance — that is if I'm around and not busy with my investigation."

Lili nods and smiles with such sincerity. "And if you need any help to get to any powerful businessman, you know who to call. Just don't make me your messenger cause I'm certainly not going to deliver any word from you!" she pouts and puts her hands on her hips, Leo laughs at the mention.

The taxi cab noises down the road as it drives to a halt a few steps away from them — the duo both already knew what this means. "I guess...this is goodbye for now." The former bodyguard said with despair but his smile still remains.

Lili couldn't utter a word, she felt her heart dropped a little. Instead she wrapped him in a tight embrace — it was a little uncomfortable with his bags hanging in the space between them, but Leo returned the hug and it somehow made the awkward hug into a pleasant one.

When they pulled away Leo turned and started walking to the car, dragging his suitcases with his left hand while the other waved goodbye to the distraught teenager. "Goodbye, my lady." He said when he turned back with one last smile before putting his belongings and himself into the yellow cab.

Lili watches him and kept on waving until the taxi drove away into the compete distance.

The air suddenly felt colder and emptier now that she was alone standing, she immediately missed his warmth and his assuring smile, but all the while the separation was bitter, she was confident that she'd see Leo again just as how Leo is confident with the future ahead.

This isn't the end for them after all, it's only the next chapter for their lovely reunion soon.
