(A/N: All right! Now that you've seen how Peach got away from Bowser in all those other kingdoms, it's time to see how she would've escaped in Bowser's Kingdom, as she mentioned to Mario in "We Can Work It Out"! Let's get this show on the road!)
Bowser and Princess Peach were on the roof of the tallest building in Bowser's Kingdom. Bowser was so happy that he couldn't stop smiling. It was almost time for him to marry Peach, something that he wanted to do for a very long time. He may have his own kingdom, but he planned to have the Mushroom Kingdom under his control as well, and as soon as he married Peach and made her his queen, it would be his, all his!
Peach, for her part, was not at all happy as she stood next to Bowser. She was mentally kicking herself. Why hadn't she jumped from the airship after Mario had defeated Bowser back in the Cloud Kingdom? She'd had the perfect opportunity to get away from him then, and she failed to take it, because she had only realized it after the fact! And what's worse, Bowser was cruel enough to shoot down Mario's airship, and Mario, too!
Then, a short time after that, Bowser told Peach that Mario had survived being shot down, much to her relief. It gave her renewed hope. But then he shot down her hope as he told her that he'd just shot down Mario's ship again... this time with help from a dragon called the Lord of Lightning! If being shot down didn't kill Mario this time, then the dragon would surely finish him off!
Although Peach tried to convince herself that Bowser was lying about the dragon, something told her that he wasn't being a lying liar this time around. Tiara refused to believe that he was telling the truth, but the princess could only wish that she was as good as Tiara was at denying his words, which she feared were true.
Now here she was, in Bowser's awful kingdom, standing next to Bowser, crying quietly as she mourned her beloved Mario. Peach felt awful, for she hadn't really told Mario how much she loved him. Oh, why hadn't she left Bowser in the Cloud Kingdom?! More importantly, why hadn't she thought to ask her darling Mario to marry her after one of his past rescue missions? She didn't want him to die thinking that she didn't love him enough to want to marry him!
Just then, glancing down at the lower part of the rooftop they were on, Peach saw something, or rather, someone, running around. Who was it? Through her tears, Peach could see that the figure down below looked oddly familiar to her, but no... it couldn't be who she thought it was... could it?
Peach wanted to have a better look at this person, but she knew that the only way she would get to do that was to distract Bowser first. She was afraid if he saw her making her way down there, he might try to stop her and decide it was time for them to get married right then. So she blinked back her tears, slowly turned around, made her eyes big, and let out a horrified gasp loud enough for only Bowser to hear.
"What is it, Peach?" Bowser asked, turning to look at his bride.
"W-What's... th-th-that?" Peach asked in a shaky, horrified voice, her arm shaking as she pointed behind him.
"What's what?" Bowser asked curiously, turning around to see whatever it was the princess was pointing at.
With the Koopa King distracted, Peach quickly and quietly slid down to the lower part of the roof, eager to see who this mysterious person was. There she was able to see who was running around. One can imagine her great relief when the person stopped moving long enough for Peach to identify him. And when she did, she let out a quiet gasp of surprise and happiness.
"Oh my gosh! It's him! It's... it's Mario!" Peach thought, tears of joy stinging her eyes.
Upon seeing Peach standing before him, Mario's blue eyes grew wide. He hadn't seen his princess that well back when they were in the Cloud Kingdom, because he had to deal with Bowser. But now Bowser wasn't looking, and Mario could see her better. He was able to really appreciate her beauty. She looked more beautiful than he ever imagined in that Lochlady Dress.
"Ciao Principessa. Hello, Princess." Mario softly greeted Peach, giving her that dashing, debonair smile that always made her heart flutter.
"Mario..." Peach replied in a whisper, before they ran to each other for some overdue and much-needed togetherness.
Mario immediately swept Peach into his arms and gave her a big, smacking kiss and a good long squeeze, and all their worries melted away like the morning mist in the sun.
Peach cried happy tears into Mario's shoulder as she wound her arms around his neck. She couldn't believe it. She was back with the man she loved once more, and he was still alive. Being with him again was like a dream come true for her.
"Mi sei mancata, mia cara principessa. I missed you, my dear princess." Mario said to Peach in a whisper as he held her in his big, strong arms.
"I missed you, too, Mario. I love you so much." Peach wept in happiness.
"I love you, too, Peach. Mama-mia, you look lovelier than I ever imagined you would." Mario said as he looked at her with love in his eyes. He'd seen her in a wedding dress before, and if she looked pretty then, the Lochlady Dress made her look exquisite.
"Thank you, sweetie. But we have to get away from here and to safety right away, before Bowser turns around and realizes that you're here, and he sees us together." Peach said. She would have blushed at the look of love on Mario's face, but fear of them being caught by the enemy prevented that. Speaking of the enemy...
"Huh. That's funny. I didn't see anyth-" Bowser started as he turned back to where Peach had been standing, only to find that she wasn't there anymore.
"Huh?! Peach! Where did you go?" Bowser asked, looking around.
Peach noticed that Bowser was looking for her.
"Oh no! We've got to hurry!" Peach gasped in a whisper, tightening her hold on Mario.
"Uh-oh! Cappy, warp us back to the Odyssey right now!" Mario demanded his Bonneter friend in a loud whisper.
Cappy didn't need to be told twice. He immediately warped the group back to where the Odyssey was parked before Bowser noticed them.
"Peach! Come out, come out, wherever you are!" Bowser called as he started looking around for the princess, thinking that maybe she had only made him look away from her because she wanted to play a quick round of hide-and-seek before going to the wedding venue, but she was too shy to say the actual words to him.
"Wow, Mario! We're right outside of your ship!" Peach said in surprise as they reappeared by the Odyssey.
"Cappy, how did you get us here so quick?!" Tiara asked from her place on Peach's head, really impressed with what her brother had done.
"It's a gift." Cappy simply replied.
"Peach! You can't hide from me forever, girl! Now come on out so we can get married!" Bowser's voice called. He seemed to be approaching where they were, which scared the girls pretty badly.
"Mario, we've got to get out of here right now! I don't want to marry Bowser!" Peach said as Mario set her on her feet.
"Quick! Get in the Odyssey and hide! He won't see you in there if you're hiding!" Mario told Peach, wishing the Odyssey's windows were tinted on the outside, so Bowser could not see in while they could see out.
Peach hurried into the Odyssey and slammed the door shut behind her, praying that Bowser would never find the ship, or see it taking off. What if he saw it take off and shot it down, not realizing that she was in it? She didn't want to marry Bowser, but she, Mario, Cappy, and Tiara were also too young to die.
Then Mario quickly added the new Power Moons he had obtained to the Odyssey, which completed the Odyssey and totally repaired it.
(A/N: Surely you guys noticed that the Odyssey doesn't look that good when you get the Power Moons to repair it in the Lost and Ruined Kingdoms. Once you finish up in Bowser's Kingdom, the ship looks good again.)
With the Odyssey complete and looking better than new, Mario threw Cappy at the globe to start up the ship.
"Where are we going now, Mario?" Cappy asked, ready for action.
It didn't take long for Mario to come up with a plan.
"We'll go to the Metro Kingdom. If Bowser can't find Peach here, he might go to the Mushroom Kingdom, thinking that she's gone back home. He won't expect her to be in New Donk City. Plus, we can get her something new to wear so she can change out of l'abito da sposa, the wedding dress, and return it to the Lochladies of the Lake Kingdom." Mario said.
"Sounds good, Mario. If he checks the Mushroom Kingdom and Peach isn't there, he's going to be very upset." Cappy said.
"He might have no other choice but to cancel the wedding if he can't find the bride." Mario said with a smile.
Then Mario went inside the ship, set a course for the Metro Kingdom, and off they went, Bowser failing to see the Odyssey take flight.
A few minutes later, the Broodals showed up next to Bowser in a big robot that they called the RoboBrood.
"All right, Boss. Check out dis bad boy! Ha ha ha! Now we're ready for dat mustache guy!" said Topper.
"Oh, you won't need to take him on. I took care of him a little while ago because you guys failed to do so." Bowser said.
"What are you saying? You did not take care of him, you lying liar!" Hariet said in anger.
"Where do you get off calling me a liar?!" Bowser asked, equally angry.
"You're calling him dead when he's very much alive! Topper and I took him on about 15 minutes ago." Hariet explained.
"WHAT?! You have got to be kidding me! Mario not only survived being shot down again, but he also stopped the Lord of Lightning from finishing him off?!" Bowser screamed.
The Broodals didn't really know what Bowser was talking about, because they never heard of the Lord of Lightning before, but Topper said, "I guess so, 'cause dat wasn't enough to stop him from giving me and Hariet a pounding we didn't deserve."
"Ohhh, if that insufferable pipsqueak took my future wife away from me, I'm going to freaking destroy him the next time I see him!" Bowser yelled, about to start breathing fire.
"What do you mean, Boss?" asked Rango.
"My bride went missing, you idiot! She was standing right next to me when she claimed to see something behind us, but I didn't see whatever it was. When I looked back at where she had been standing, she wasn't there! I don't know what the heck happened to her! She just seemed to vanish into thin air, but that's impossible!" Bowser said.
"Where do you think your bride went?" Spewart asked.
"I don't know! I have been looking everywhere in my kingdom, and she's not anywhere. And I haven't seen Mario since the Lord of Lightning shot him down!" Bowser said.
"Haven't you checked inside your castle?" asked Rango.
"No. Why do you ask?" Bowser replied.
"You should. There's a good chance your bride might be hiding in there, and the mustached man might be in there, too, trying to find her." suggested Rango.
"I doubt Peach would be in my castle. She seemed rather glad to be getting out of there when I told her it was almost time to go to the wedding venue." Bowser said.
"Maybe she's hiding in there because she's sure it's the last place you would think to look for her, and the first place the guy who wasn't invited probably would look for her, granted he's still alive." Spewart said.
"You know what? That's not such a bad idea. You guys may be right." Bowser said, and so he went into the castle to see if Peach, or Mario, or both of them, might be there.
When Bowser Jr. saw his father come into the castle, he said, "Wow, that was fast. Did you marry Mama Peach already, Papa, or have you decided that you want us to be at the wedding as security guards so we can watch you and Mama Peach tie the knot?" Jr. was really excited at the prospect of having his so-called mother back for good.
"No, Jr. I did not marry your mother yet." Bowser replied.
"You didn't do it? Why not? Don't you love Mama Peach?" Jr. asked.
"Of course I do!" Bowser said.
"You didn't get cold feet, did you, Papa?" Jr. asked.
"No way! Not this close to the wedding! But I think your mother is the one with cold feet, because she has up and disappeared, and I can't find her anywhere in the kingdom." Bowser said.
"So what are you doing back in here if Mama Peach got cold feet?" Jr. asked.
"Call me crazy, but I think it's possible that she may be hiding here in the castle. Mario might even be in here, too, looking for her if that's the case." Bowser said.
"I don't think Mama Peach is in here, Papa, and I don't believe Mario is here, either. None of us heard anyone come in until now, and we haven't seen Mama Peach since the two of you walked out the door..." Jr. replied.
"Well, let's just look around and see if she or Mario may be hiding in here anyway, okay?" Bowser suggested.
"Okay, Papa. We'll help you look for them, but I'm sure the odds of finding them in here are pretty slim." said Jr. He told the Koopalings what was up, and they all agreed to help their (adoptive) father look for Princess Peach and Mario.
Two hours later...
The Koopas had searched the entire castle, seeing neither hide nor hair of Peach, or Mario. That wasn't a good sign.
"Okay, then. Peach is not in here, and neither is Mario, so I guess I'm going to have to chew out the Broodals for making me waste time." Bowser said. He pulled out his smartphone and called up the Broodals, yelling at them for steering him wrong and causing him to waste time.
The Broodals didn't exactly appreciate being yelled at, but they told him that the bride hiding in his castle, and the mustached man trying to find her, were just guesses.
"Then allow me to make a suggestion: I want the four of you to make yourselves useful and HELP ME FIND MY BRIDE ALREADY!" Bowser yelled.
"I've got a better idea, Boss! Why don't you check that place your bride came from? Chances are she found a warp portal you don't know about that took her back there. Or maybe that mustached guy you didn't invite took her back there without you seeing." Hariet suggested.
So Bowser got in his airship and went to the Mushroom Kingdom to look for Peach, and Mario. If he saw them together, then Mario was going to be a dead plumber, and there was nothing Peach could say or do to make him reconsider his decision!
Meanwhile, in the Metro Kingdom...
Mario and Peach had landed in the city so they could find something casual for Peach to wear in place of the Lochlady Dress, which they were planning to return to the Lake Kingdom. But Peach didn't want to go walking around New Donk City in the Lochlady Dress. She didn't want any people to see her and get the wrong idea.
"Okay, I'll go out and get you something nice to wear, Peach. What size do you wear in clothing?" Mario asked, taking out a notepad and pencil.
Peach told him everything, and Mario quickly wrote it down on the notepad, sticking it in his back pocket when he was done.
"Okie-dokie. Now that I have what I need, I'll go out and look around. If I see something pretty that will fit you, I'll get it for you and bring it back here so you can change into it. How does that sound?" Mario asked the princess.
"Sounds good to me." Peach replied with a smile. She was happy that Mario was such a caring and considerate man. She had to be the luckiest princess in the world to have a man like him in her life.
First off, Mario changed into his Black Fedora and Black Suit, so he would blend in. Then Mario went out into the city with Cappy on his head. Peach and Tiara (who was currently in her Bonneter form) just sat in the Odyssey and talked about how lucky they were to finally be away from Bowser and back with a couple of guys who cared about them.
A half-hour later, the girls heard a knock at the Odyssey's door.
"Who's there?" Peach asked as a nervous Tiara assumed her tiara form and landed neatly on Peach's head.
"It's-a me, Mario. I bought something cute for you to wear, Peach." Mario replied, before opening the door and handing Peach a shopping bag.
The princess reached into a bag and pulled out a short-sleeved pink blouse with a matching, knee-length skirt, and a pair of cream-colored high heels to go with it.
"I hope you'll like the outfit, Peach, and that it fits. It should, because Cappy and I checked the tags, and everything appears to be in your size." Mario said.
"It looks really pretty, Mario. And I'd like to change into it now if that's okay." Peach said as she removed her gloves, and slipped her feet out of the white high heels.
"You can change now if you want. And if you need a pair of scissors to cut the tags, I've got some in a drawer of the wardrobe. I'll get out of the ship while you're changing." Mario said.
"I'll go with you so Peach has complete privacy." Tiara said, assuming her Bonneter form again and following Mario.
Peach felt good, knowing that her friends were willing to give her privacy as she got ready to change her clothes and let down her hair.
Outside the Odyssey, Mario talked with Cappy and Tiara.
"This city looks a lot happier than it did when Peach and I came here with Bowser." Tiara pointed out as she looked around New Donk City.
"You know the reason why, don't you?" Mario asked her.
"I think I do. It's because Bowser's not here. That's got to be the reason why." Tiara answered.
Cappy laughed, but he said, "That's only part of the reason. It's mostly because Mario and I fixed everything Bowser did to this place. Our main mission was to get rid of the Mechawiggler he left here for us."
"We also got rid of as many of his stupido wedding posters as we could. Pauline was able to get rid of the advertisements on the video billboards, the city took care of the ones we couldn't destroy, but I don't know about the ones that were painted on walls. I haven't seen them, though, so my guess is that Pauline had someone take care of those." Mario replied.
"Did you see the posters he put up inside of that one building?" Tiara asked.
"I really don't see what possessed him to advertise the wedding inside of City Hall. For crying out loud, that was just stupid!" said Cappy.
"E mi ha davvero fatto ribollire il sangue. And it really made my blood boil. Those posters never should have been made!" said Mario.
"Agreed." Tiara replied.
Just then, the Odyssey's door opened slightly, and Peach peeked her head out.
"Okay, you can come back in. I'm decent now." Peach said to her friends.
Mario walked back in with Cappy and Tiara by his side. They were able to see how Peach looked in her new attire.
"Well, how do I look?" Peach asked, modeling her outfit for the group.
"Wow, Peach. You look good." Cappy said.
"You're very pretty." Tiara complimented.
"You are still bellissima, which, as you know, means 'beautiful'." Mario said.
"Oh, Mario..." Peach said.
"I mean it, Peach. You really are bellissima. You could even wear an old potato sack and still look like un angelo, an angel." Mario told her.
"Mario, you're such a little flatterer." Peach replied, blushing.
"I wouldn't say this if it wasn't true, Peach." Mario told her.
"I believe you, Mario. You're not a man to lie, unlike Bowser." Peach said, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek, making him blush.
"So, would you like to go for a walk around New Donk City with me?" Mario asked.
"You know what? I'd love to." Peach smiled.
So Mario took Peach's delicate hand in his own, and with Cappy and Tiara perched on top of their heads, the young couple ventured out into the city together.
At the Mushroom Kingdom...
Bowser got right down to business as soon as he arrived in Toad Town, calling the Mushroom people together and asking them if they knew where Princess Peach was.
"Well, gee, Bowser, what are you asking us for? If memory serves me right, you're the one who took our princess away so you could marry her. Don't you remember doing that?" Toad replied, and all the Mushroom people nodded their heads in agreement.
"I know what I did! And this is rather embarrassing, but... Peach kind of... disappeared... from my kingdom... and I thought... she might have... found her way back here." Bowser admitted.
"Whoa! Let's get this straight: you kidnapped her, and then you lost her... Some villain you are, losing sight of your victim!" Toadette taunted Bowser. She couldn't believe how incredibly stupid he was! Neither could anyone else, for they were all laughing at the big dummy.
"Watch it!" Bowser threatened. He was planning to turn the people into stones, but he had been so upset about losing Peach that he forgot to grab his wand like a dumb dope. Then he realized that he still had his wedding hat, but the Toads were quick at dodging the weapon when he threw it at them, which made him angrier than he already was.
"As Toad implied, our princess is not here! And even if she was home, we'd never tell you that!" said Toadiko. (A/N: Does anyone remember her from "Partners In Time"?)
"Maybe she went to the wedding venue because she had a feeling you'd never think of looking for her there, by boogity!" suggested Toadbert.
"You know, I never really thought about that possibility. Thanks!" Bowser said, and off he went to the Moon Kingdom, hoping that Peach really was there, waiting to marry him.
"I hope for your sake she's not really at the wedding venue!" a really unhappy Toadsworth whispered to Toadbert.
"I... I don't think she is... I just wanted Bowser to leave, by boogity..." said the nervous Toadbert. He prayed to the Star Spirits that Peach was indeed safe.
Back with Mario and Peach...
The couple had finished exploring New Donk City, and now they they decided it was high time to head on over to Lake Lamode so they could return the Lochlady Dress.
But when Peach remembered that they were going to go somewhere wet, she knew she was going to need some swimwear for the Lake Kingdom. She told this to Mario, and he understood.
"Okay, pick out some swimsuits and try them on. We'll get the one you like the best." Mario said as they made their way into a clothing store and found the swimsuit section.
Peach's blue eyes quickly scanned the suits on the rack, and she immediately picked out a pink bikini that was in her size.
"I think I'll try this one." Peach said, removing the bikini from the rack.
"Okie-dokie." Mario replied as they made their way to the fitting rooms so Peach could try on the bikini. After handing Tiara to Mario, Peach hurried into a vacant fitting room to try on the swimwear. To her happiness, the bikini fit her perfectly. She quickly changed back into her blouse and skirt, and Mario was waiting to hear the verdict.
"Does it fit, Peach?" Mario asked.
"It does. Like a glove. This is the one I want. I've made my decision." said Peach as she placed Tiara on her head again and carried the bikini.
"Mama-mia! That was fast. I bet you're going to look sorprendente, amazing, in that." Mario told her as they went to the check-out counter.
"You'll see how I look when we get to the Lake Kingdom." Peach replied.
Since Peach didn't have her purse on her, Mario paid for the bikini, the way he paid for the outfit she had on at present. Peach asked him to please hold onto the receipts because she felt the need to reimburse him for the clothing, and she would do so as soon as she got home.
"Oh, you don't need to pay me back for the clothing I've been buying for you, Peach. Money spent on making you look bellissima is money well spent if you ask me." Mario replied as they boarded the Odyssey.
"But I want to pay you back, Mario. You've been helping me greatly since I saw you in Bowser's Kingdom, and you deserve to be repaid for helping me, and for saving my life." Peach replied.
Mario couldn't help smiling at that as he set a course for the Lake Kingdom. He finally agreed to let Peach pay him back when they returned to the Mushroom Kingdom.
When the Odyssey touched down in the Lake Kingdom, Mario, Cappy, and Tiara left the airship and admired how pretty the lake looked while Peach changed into her swimwear.
A minute or so later, Peach came out of the Odyssey in her new bikini, and while Cappy and Tiara were impressed with how she looked, Mario was staring at her as though he'd just seen a goddess of the lake.
"Mario, are you okay?" Peach asked, noticing the way her boyfriend was staring at her.
Mario realized what he was doing and slapped himself in the face, surprising Cappy and Tiara. They never saw anyone slap himself before.
"Yes, I'm okay, Peach. I'm going to change into my swimsuit now." Mario replied as he ran into the Odyssey to do just that.
After Mario had changed in the Swimwear and Swim Goggles, the group had to find a way to return the Lochlady Dress to the Water Plaza without getting it wet. How the Broodals got it to Bowser without getting it wet, Peach would never know.
"I know of a way." Cappy said. He warped them all into the Water Plaza, to the floor where the display window was. There they saw the empty dressmaker's dummy through the window, and several Lochladies were looking at it sadly.
Peach felt the Lochlady Dress to make sure it was okay. It was as dry as a bone.
"Amazing! Thank you, Cappy." Peach said to the Bonneter.
"You're welcome, Princess." Cappy replied.
Then Mario and Peach hid the Lochlady Dress behind them as Mario got the attention of the Lochladies by calling out, "Salve signore! Hello, ladies!"
All the Lochladies turned to see Mario, Peach, Cappy, and Tiara.
"Oh, hello. Can we help you?" asked a Lochlady in blue.
"We have una grande sorpresa, a big surprise for you." Mario replied.
"You do? What could it be?" asked a Lochlady in pink.
"Well, you might want to get it dry-cleaned first, but... here's something we think you've all been missing." Peach said, and she and Mario showed the Lochladies the Lochlady Dress.
"Oh my goodness! You brought our national treasure, the Lochlady Dress, back to us!" cried a Lochlady in silver.
Mario and Peach explained everything, and the Lochladies thanked them profusely for bringing the dress back. They were so happy, they agreed on making something for Peach in return for making sure their dress stayed pristine: a pretty, light pink sundress for her to wear during the summer months. And after taking Peach's measurements, they went right to work on the dress for her.
At one point, while Peach was relaxing on the Lake Kingdom Terrace, Mario quickly warped back to the Odyssey, and then he warped back to Peach. It turned out that while he was buying Peach's outfit in the Metro Kingdom, he also purchased an engagement ring for her. He pulled out the ring and asked her to marry him. And she said yes, admitting that she was planning to ask him that question herself as soon as they got home.
At the Moon Kingdom...
Bowser looked around the Moon Kingdom for Peach, to no avail. She wasn't even in the Wedding Hall like he'd hoped. No one at the Wedding Hall knew where she was, either. The Koopa King had no choice but to admit that he'd failed Peach, and she was gone. He could kiss his dream of being her husband good-bye for now.
This also meant that the wedding was cancelled, so the guests who saw the items the Broodals had stolen from their kingdoms took back those things, ready to take them home and put them back where they belonged.
Bowser hated to admit it, but Peach was right when she told him that it was bad luck to see the bride before the wedding. He did it one too many times already, and now he was finding out what that bad luck was: he lost sight of the bride, and because of his negligence, he wasn't going to get married today.
It wasn't until about a year had passed that Bowser found out what happened to Princess Peach. While he was surfing through the channels, he happened upon Mario and Peach's coronation, which was being filmed live outside of Mushroom Castle in the Mushroom Kingdom. This proved that not only was Peach alive and well, she was also married to Mario!
The Koopa King could not believe that Peach had been okay all this time! How had she managed to evade his grasp for so long?! Worse still for him was the fact that MARIO, the man he hated with a burning passion, would be ruling the Mushroom Kingdom by Peach's side, as the KING!
Even though Peach was happily married to Mario, Bowser decided that he really didn't care. He still wanted to marry her, and come hell or high water, he would have her as his wife. So the Koopa King locked himself in his room to plot his revenge and figure out the best way to get Peach back in his clutches again.
About a month later, Bowser was ready. He went to the Mushroom Kingdom and kidnapped Queen Peach, claiming that he was going to marry her despite the fact that she was already married. But, unfortunately for him, there was a law in the Mushroom Kingdom stating that you can't be legally married to more than one person, and even though Peach was royalty, she was not above the law!
"Don't you worry about that! I'm planning to kill your so-called king before I marry her, so when the queen becomes my wife, she'll be mine alone! So you see, neither of us will be breaking the law." Bowser told the Mushroom people as they tried to stop him from breaking the law.
Thankfully, Mario came up behind Bowser and told him that he was already breaking the law. It was against the law to kill the king, and this time, Mario was prepared for a battle, and he was quick to put a stop to Bowser's fiendish plan before his airship even left the Mushroom Kingdom!
The End
Okay, that's the end of that. Bowser really failed this time around, because Mario and Peach were too quick and clever for him. I hope you enjoyed reading about the different ways Peach could have escaped from Bowser before Mario rescued her in "Super Mario Odyssey"!
