"This can't be a good thing," said Miko as the four stood in a large foyer and looked back at the door with worried expressions.
"It's a Mini Boss," said Five who noticed black mist pouring out of the floor, walls, and ceiling.
"Of course there's one here," said Mitch as a giant black bat formed out of the mist.
"I'll lure it's attention and keep aggro on me," said Miko before swinging her left arm which sent out three blades of blood red energy that hit the Mini Boss in the back and dealt a small amount of damage.
"Hey you big chicken, try and catch me!" she said while running away.
"Should we switch to long range?" asked Zahra while switching her hammer for her sniper rifle.
"You can, but try to conserve ammo, everything we have is it so we can't use up to much of it," said Five.
"And the two of us will go in to directly attack," said Mitch.
"You sure you can't solo this?" asked Five.
"Shut it, noob," said Mitch. They both then charged in when the Mini Boss turned to follow Miko, exposing its back.
"This thing is going to be a pain to kill if I have to save on ammo," said Zahra while running to find her sniper perch. As she did that she also took notice of the boss's HP which was at a max of five-hundred points and barely down by double digits.
"This thing is a thick one," said Miko who was still keeping the aggro on herself.
"Then maybe we should do something about that," said Mitch before throwing something into the boss's mouth.
"Was that a debuff item?" asked Five.
"One that lowers defense for a minute, so let's not waste it standing around talking," said Mitch before going on the attack.
