This is the 2nd chapter. I don't own the series of Danmachi or the videogame of Kingdom Hearts.

And in case you haven't notice, Gods and Goddesses can see through lies when they say anything, which it got Fenris telling Astrea his backstory since he won't lie his way out of this! Also, he'd rather let his body heal naturally instead of magic, and he learns how to grow up fast during his time as a Keyblade Wielder! While it's true that Fenris is powerful, despite being a Keyblade Wielder and a martial artist, but he's not invincible because he learned his own strengths and weaknesses! And yes, Sora is strong, but he's not invincible, either, not to mention he's not the brightest tool in the shed while optimistic and adventurous to a fault! And another thing, I've already blocked your sorry ass, so I won't have to listen to your long reviews! Also, if you don't like this story, then don't read it at all! And if you're not down with that, I'VE GOT TWO WORDS FOR YA, 'SUCK IT'!

Learning about the New World

After a long discussion of their introductions and their backstories, Fenris left the house while Astrea is getting her basket, he was looking at the grasslands, noticed a small area without grass, nothing but soil. Fenris walk towards the site, noticed a small crater, but didn't find anything.

'What should I do now?' Fenris mentally questions, pondered a bit since he didn't find any clues of how he got here or why.

Even though, Fenris have fulfilled his duty by locking the portal and keeping the darkness contained inside of the data world. But Fenris still needs to find his old friends like: Ephemer, Skuld, Brain, Ventus, Laurium, and Elenra, since they got out of the data world, hoping they get out of Daybreak Town. Fenris will have to continue on traveling in different worlds, fighting against the darkness, collecting Lux, and lock the darkness away. Chirithy then revealed itself next to him, looking at the crash site.

"So, this is where we came here and crashed into a new world." Chirithy muttered, then turned to him. "But the question is, who sent us here? And why?"

"That's what I want to know, but so far...nothing." Fenris said with a sigh, crossed his arm. "But for now, we got a second chance to live."

"Right, and I'm gonna make sure that you're not going to waste it." Chirithy told him. "You were on the brink of death twice, and here you are, still liven and breathing. I don't know how you were able to withstand those attacks from the Foretellers, Ephemer, or Skuld."

"Maybe I'm just too stubborn to die." Fenris states with a chuckle.

"THAT'S NOT FUNNY, FENRIS! THIS IS NO TIME FOR JOKES!?" Chirithy yelled with a tick mark on its head, sighed in annoyance. "Geez, despite that sturdy body of yours, you're still a wreck, even after you're fully recovered."

"I can't rely on using my magic to heal myself, I have to let my body heal on its own." Fenris argued.

"That maybe true, but at times like when you're fighting against the Heartless and the Darklings, you have to use magic at times like this." Chirithy argued back. "You usually rely mostly on your sharp instincts, martial arts, and magic, which is a good sign, but a magic that can heal, it's something you're gonna have to use it in case you're wounded, like literally."

"Yeah, but it'll be a waste of magic. Potions, Ethers, and Elixirs are also useful to heal and restore magic." Fenris points out.

"That's also true." Chirithy agrees, knows that he made a valid point. "But still, Fenris, you need to take better care of yourself. I get it you can fight while using potions and all, but you're not invincible."

"Trust me, I've learned that the hard way and I've got battle scars to prove it." Fenris remarked, placing his hands on his waist.

"Oh boy." Chirithy groaned, looking down to the ground. "One of these days, your stubborn streak is going to be the death of me."

Fenris couldn't help but chuckle in respond which it's not something to laugh or to be proud of. Fenris did get his stubbornness from his late father along with the sheer will, sturdy body, and sharp instincts while he got the resourcefulness from his late mother. Chirithy then decided to change the subject as it looked at him.

"But anyway, if we're gonna stay here, you're going to start your usual morning training." Chirithy suggested. "And after that, we need to learn more about this world so we'll know where we are."

Fenris then crossed his arms with a hum, knew that the Dream Eater is right since he doesn't know about the world he's in, but he might give it a chance if he's going to stay. However, he also had his mind about going to different worlds to find his friends while fighting against Heartless and collecting Lux.

Fenris responds with a nod in agreement since he needs to get stronger if he's going to face against the darkness and strong enemies in the future.

Fenris started his morning workout, got into a handstand, lifting his right arm, and started off his first set. The push-up portion of his daily training consists of 101 arm stand push-ups, for both arms. He usually strapped his vest with iron sewed into it on himself, but he didn't make one. Then, he did a clapping handstand push-ups, 200 of them.

Then, he did 300 hanging sit-ups next. After that, he did 400 squats. After the squats, he did a plank for 20 minutes, and go for 3 mile run.

Though, he'd been working out in three and a half hours to get his first half done. The time limit also helps him work on his memory and agility. He remembered on doing his morning workout routines while watching the sunrise, which to him, it was breathtaking, watching it come up over the horizon.

He finally returned to Astrea's home to finish up his morning workout, battling his imaginary opponents with his Keyblades, practicing magic, special attacks, and practicing his martial arts forms.

But unknown to him, Astrea was watching him doing his morning workout which it got her blush from her cheeks when she noticed the muscles was revealing from his shirt. She then cleared her throat to get his attention.

"Well...since you had finished your workout, perhaps it's best you go wash yourself before we leave." Astrea suggested.

Fenris replied with a nod in agreement as he went inside of the house to get himself cleaned up. After Fenris went inside, Chirithy walk towards her when Astrea places her hands next to her heart, feeling her heart beating.

"Um...are you okay?" Chirithy inquires. "Your face seems a bit red."

"Oh...yes, I'm just feeling a little hot!?" Astrea quickly answered, snapped out of her thoughts. "I didn't know he was working out..."

"Oh that? It's his daily morning routine, where he does his physical workout, practicing his martial arts, and magic." Chirithy explains. "It's just something he usually does."

"Oh...I see." Astrea said. "But I'll admit, he seems to be very strong. Maybe he could use that as we appear to be in danger."

"It's not something to worry about, he uses that during his travels." Chirithy points out. "Fenris is strong on his own right, despite being a Keyblade Wielder and all. Though, he doesn't brag about it much, but he's stubborn at times, even when he's at the brink of death."

"I can tell, he does have a fighting spirit." Astrea replied with a giggle.

After a few minutes of talking, Fenris finished cleaning up himself while on his new clothing that Astrea have lend him. He was wearing a black shirt with a sleeveless brown leather jacket, black pants with an obi sash around his waist, and black boots. He kept his pauldron on his left shoulder, a gauntlet on his left arm, a wristband on his right wrist, and a Power Bangle on his right wrist.

"So, where do we go exactly?" Fenris inquires curiously.

"The town we're heading is called Melen, it's a quite large port city, but right now, we are in between Melan and Orario." Astrea explains, then looks down at the soil path. "And this road connects both of the cities."

With that, Chirithy disappeared as both Fenris and Astrea were now making their way to Melen. After an hour of peaceful walking, Fenris is enjoying the sights of the scenery of the rural area. Apparently, Fenris didn't get a chance to look at the sunset over the horizon back at Daybreak Town nor enjoy a peaceful life. Astrea turns her head, noticing the look on Fenris' face and clearly enjoys the scenery which it got her smiled.

Around 30 minutes later, Astrea and Fenris finally reached the port city, Melen.

"So, the supplies we need, is somewhere around here?" Fenris asks.

"Yes, in fact, Melen has a market square, which is right in the middle of town." Astrea answered while pointing straight on with her finger.

Suddenly, they saw a crowd of people were gathered on both edges of the road they were walking. Fenris felt Astrea pulling his jacket, suggested to so the same as possible. After nearly everyone was either on the left or right side of the road, Fenris saw a group of rather brash people walking consistent in the middle of the street, which kind of remind him of a couple of arrogant Keyblade Wielders from the Ursus Union.

The first man was probably the leader of the group. He has long blonde hair and purple eyes. He wore a cream top with black robe with gold lines and purple designs on it, along with a similar colored hair accessory.

The second man has short, creamed hair and purple eyes. He wears glasses, a black top with vertical cream-colored lines, a dark suit with a purple handkerchief, and black pants with belt.

He also noticed 30 other members following them, meaning they were a group of either adventurers or soldiers. Out of curiosity, Fenris turned his head and noticed a middle-aged man beside him.

"Uh, excuse me, can you tell me what's going on?" Fenris asks, earned his attention. "Who are these guys?"

"You really didn't know?" The man asks shockingly but didn't hesitate to answer. "That's Enoch, also known as George Doe, Captain of the Aeshma Familia, accompanied by his comrades. And that man over there is Gregory, he's the advisor, but I'm afraid I don't remember the other names."

"The Aeshma Familia?" Fenris repeats.

"Yes, they're one of the strongest Familias of Orario." The man confirmed.

"But why are they here?" Fenris wondered which it got the man dumbfounded, looked at the Keyblade Wielder.

"It's his first time here in Melen, he also never was in Orario." Astrea cuts in, declared happily which it got the middle-aged man realizing that.

"Oh, sorry for my rudeness." The man apologized. "To make it short, Melen, is also known as 'Orario's entrance of the sea', many ships from foreign countries visit for trade. And of course, it's not uncommon for a strong Familia like them to trade outside of Orario."

"I guess that make sense, but to bring a whole army of adventurers?" Fenris wondered with a ponder.

"Yeah, that's really strange, but the Aeshma Familia, as the most strong Familia of Orario, also protects Melen because of its strategic importance, so no one here really cares how they trade as long as we're protected." The man explains.

"I see." Fenris replied. "Thanks."

The man confirmed with a nod as he and the people walk normally again. After both Fenris and Astrea continued walking, she stopped which the Keyblade Wielder looked concerned and noticed her smile as she looked straight ahead of them.

"Astrea, what's wrong?" Fenris asks.

She didn't hear him, as she started to walk faster which surprised him. Fenris realized that she was running towards as certain Elf named Ryuu Lion.

Ryuu is a She-Elf with sky blue eyes and green hair. She's wearing a green maid outfit with white frilled headband, matching white apron, and a pair of brown boots over black leggings.

"Ryuu, is that you?" Astrea called loudly.

Ryuu turned, seeing Astrea, also walked towards her as they both hugged. Fenris now remembered of what Astrea have told him.

'So, this is Ryuu Lion that Astrea mentioned. And by the look of it, she's the only survivor of her Familia.' Fenris mentally thought.

Fenris came closer to them, but only to realize that the She-Elf had more striking aura and battle-experienced adventurer. It was that moment Ryuu saw a young man with spiky brown hair and blue eyes, muscular physique, and wore an armor on her left arm and shoulder.

'Who is this man going along with Lady Astrea?' Ryuu mentally questions when her smile slightly disappears, she could feel that he's truly strong like a first-class adventurer. Then, it hit her. 'Did Lady Astrea start a Familia again?'

Astrea then realizes that she didn't get a chance to introduce him.

"Oh, sorry for my rudeness." Astrea apologizes, then stretches her arm at Fenris. "May I introduce, this is Fenris Lumine. I met him yesterday and he stayed overnight in my house."

That got Ryuu shocked, wondering why she would let him stay. Fenris is also wondering why she would lie to her, but it took him seconds for him to realize.

'Did she think that she and I...' Fenris mentally thought, also shocked, but started to blush like a tomato.

"What do you mean he stayed overnight, Lady Astrea?" Ryuu asks with worry.

"Fenris was sleeping outside of my house since it was cold, I took him inside so that he didn't catch a cold." Astrea explains.

Ryuu sighed in relief, but only for her and Fenris to realize that Astrea suddenly had a dark frightening aura, which scared them.

"Did you just assume that I and..."

"I'M SORRY!?" Ryuu apologized, immediately bowed and begging that Astrea wouldn't get too angry. "It's just...you would never let any men inside your house, but since you're living alone outside of the urban area for so long, it was possible that you felt lonely!"

Astrea then understands what Ryuu is telling her and started to calm down.

"That may have been right, but certain things never change over time." Astrea said with a clam smile, then turns to Fenris. "Am I right, Fenris?"

"Uh...right." Fenris responds, turns away and still feels a bit of dark aura around her. 'Geez, overkill much?!'

"I...I'm Ryuu Lion, it's a pleasure to meet you." Ryuu introduces herself, bowed.

"Likewise." Fenris said with an awkward smile, while trying not to make this situation awkward.

During their introduction, they're walking together towards the market square. Astrea explained about Fenris is a soon-to-be-adventurer from a rather isolated town from the northwest, where only Humans live, which it's also his first-time meeting people from other races. He also tried to come to Orario, but fell asleep in front of her house. It's how they met. Ryuu started to smile with an amusement, but Fenris blushed with embarrassment and turned away.

Fenris was glad that Astrea didn't tell her about him in a different or being a Keyblade Wielder since it would be too many complications to explain.

Ryuu explains that she wasn't native of Orario, but that she came from the Elven Forest called Ryumilua.

"May I ask you something, Fenris?" Ryuu inquires.

"You can." Fenris respond.

"You don't look appeared to be a beginner; how did you train without a God's blessing?" Ryuu questions, looking at his biceps which was clearly visible, making Fenris blushed a little.

Fenris was thankful for his parents and his mentor's regular morning, yet rigorous training. Now, he needed to explain himself without revealing too much.

"Well, I've been doing some rigorous training by my father and my mentor." Fenris replied. "And I've been on my own as I grew older."

But to his surprise, Ryuu believed it. She looked in awe, but Astrea saw through a lie which she can understand.

"Well, he's indeed quite strong." Astrea said, earned her attention. "Before we started to walk, Fenris trained a bit outside of my house. He started doing his morning workout, which it took only three and a half hours for his first half. He also done his swordsmanship, magic, and martial arts."

Ryuu then looked at Fenris, shockingly impressed. This Keyblade Wielder could cast magic, knows martial arts, and swordsmanship. And on top of that, he didn't belong to any other Familias.

"And what are you doing here?" Astrea asked.

"Mama Mia gave me today free since I've been working at the 'Hostess of Fertility' and earned a day off. I was looking forward to visit you today." Ryuu explains. "Right now, I bought a swimsuit, so I can finally go to the beach."

"A beach, huh?" Astrea said, then turns her head to Fenris. "That's a wonderful idea, don't you think, Fenris?"

"Yeah, I guess." Fenris said, knew that look. "But shouldn't we buy food supplies first?"

"Of course." Astrea replied, then turns back to Ryuu. "After when we're finished with that, right?"

Ryuu can only respond with a nod, not wanted to anger Astrea as they head for the marketplace. After they reached the market square, Astrea, Ryuu, and Fenris were temporarily separated from each other. At first, they went for the fruits like apples, oranges, pears, and bananas.

Fenris noticed how the basket got heavier, but it's nothing he couldn't handle since he's no stranger on heavy lifting.

Next, they went for vegetables like carrots, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and more.

Fenris noticed, the basket is heavier, but still has no problems on holding it since he's way stronger. Fenris also kept his balance between him and the basket, so it won't fall off.

And lastly, they went to buy some meat, cheese, and milk, but this time, Ryuu is carrying them.

Fenris then noticed something, seeing the group of adventurers surrounding the two female adventurers.

She has blue eyes and golden yellow hair that ties in a ponytail. She wears a white top with blue edge, a blue skirt with light yellow lines, a brown belt, white socks, a blue cape, and several pieces of armor.

The other girl has black eyes and long black hair with part of it braided. She wears a dark and light purple outfit consisting of a top, skirt, gloves, breastplate, leggings, and shoes. She keeps her rapier in a purple sheath on the left side of her waist.

"Come on, we're just asking you to join us." The man said with an offer.

"Yeah, and I promise you two ladies, we'll be having a good time after this." The second man adds.

Both of the girls are feeling uncomfortable about those men, trying to get them join. Fenris couldn't help but feel annoyed as he puts the basket down, then walked towards the group when Ryuu and Astrea noticed him.

"Hey." Fenris called them. "You're making them uncomfortable. I'm gonna ask you to leave."

"Who the hell are you?" The first man demands with a glare.

"Someone you don't want to mess with." Fenris told him, crossed his arms.

"Listen, buddy, we're busy with those ladies! Why don't you leave!" The third man said with a serious glare.

"Otherwise, someone could get hurt." The fourth man adds, pulls out his sword.

Fenris can only stay silent, readied his fight stance which the adventurers laughed. Since neither of them are budging an inch, the first adventurer charged after the Keyblade Wielder with his axe and about to deliver a chop, but Fenris dodged sideways and then deliver a punch to the sternum. Fenris then sweeps his leg, making the first man tumbled down to the ground.

The group of male adventurers, especially Ryuu and Astrea, were deeply shocked. Now, the male adventurers growled in anger.

"YOU PUNK!?" The second man yelled as he charges after him with a mace.

Fenris then uses a shoulder wheel throw, knocking him down to the ground with ease. The third man was then about to deliver a right hook, but Fenris block that punch and went to a straight punch to the chin, followed by spinning heel kick, knocking him down. The fourth man is now starting to get nervous when Fenris slowly approaches him with a glare on his face. The fourth man mustered up his courage as he delivers a downward slash, but Fenris dodged to the right, and then delivers a knee kick, making him stumble down to the knee in pain. Fenris then grabs him, making him look at the Keyblade Wielder.

"Take your friends, and leave. Because next time, I won't be nice." Fenris warns him.

The group of male adventurers stands up and ran, out of sight.

"You two, okay?" Fenris asks, turns to the two female adventurers.

"Yes, we thank you for saving us from them." The female blonde adventurer thanked him. "Those Aeshma Familia have been asking us to join them for a while. And we're just not that interested."

"But they were taking this too far, since they couldn't take that answer." The female black adventurer adds with annoyance.

"Those guys? They're from the Aeshma Familia?" Fenris asks, earned a nod from the two girls. "Huh, I've seen them a while ago when me and Astrea arrived here."

"You're with Lady Astrea?" The female blonde adventurer asks curiously.

"Yeah. I'm Fenris Lumine." Fenris introduces himself. "I'm new around here."

"Oh, I see. That makes sense. I'm Oriana Drake." Oriana introduces herself. "And this is Karen Morris."

"Nice to meet you." Karen said, extends her hand.

"Likewise." Fenris said, shakes her hand.

Both Ryuu and Astrea are watching Fenris having a conversation with Oriana and Karen, which the She-Elf, for reason, felt uncomfortable and didn't like it how those girls talked to the Keyblade Wielder, causing her to press her forehead. Astrea noticed that, but had a feeling that Ryuu is having feelings for him, which they've just met on the first day since he got here in Melen.
